Ugh, just experienced this twice in the last 2 hours. I honestly don't know why I update my game when I see a new update comes out. Every time I do, it causes nothing but headaches until the developers get around to releasing a patch to fix it.

I'm having issues with it crashing to desktop/Finder (on a Mac) whenever I go to the Old Town section of the map after the latest Ambitions update (4.2.32). Other areas of town play just fine, but it's consistent with every time I try to go to that area of town that it will just crash. Could this be because of the update?

I think TerriSim raises a good point - that it will depend on the level of invasion the ads have to actual gameplay to determine how I feel about it. The CTF persists for me. Anyone find they need to remove AwesomeMod to get it to work? I'm playing on MacBook Pro w/ Snow Leopard. UPDATE: It seems my problem is coming from AwesomeMod. Game boots up fine when I remove it from my Mods folder.

I immediately tried this and replaced the fridge with the most expensive option in Build Mode. Like others have already said, this workaround is still not solving the problem for me. I do not have World Adventures, just patch 1.7 installed.

I'd rather see a heigh slider, so you can make custom heights for male and female Sims, rather than just making men Sims taller than women Sims. Not all women are short (and not all men are tall). I wondered about that in TS2 - they had such a focus on genetics, it always amazed me that height was never considered.
