food in fridge spoiling abnormally fast?

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here or in world adventures but ever since I installed it it seems that the food I put in the fridge has been spoiling abnormally fast, like fater a few hours or so. Is there any way I could stop this?

We are aware of this issue occurring after the patch and World Adventures. See this FAQ for details and a workaround:

It is annoying that you allow people to open threads like this in a "TECHNICAL DISCUSSIONS" forum.
It is a gameplay problem not a technical one.
You should either move them to another thread or delete them.
They only serve to submerge the real technical problem posts, which may then not be answered.
Please be more pro-active.
I think they turned the fridge storage option in one of this last few patches to come out with WA. I hope the fix it soon, because I would always have one Sim cook and the rest eat for a day or so on the leftovers.
go bad. That fix did not work for me.
Not much of a workaround since it must be done EVERY TIME a sim goes on an adventure and even they doesn't always work. There really isn't anything we can do untill EA gets off their ***** and actually fixes the problem, or a 3rd party mod does EAs job for them.
This is a GAME BUG not a gameplay issue!! IE a TECHNICAL PROBLEM!!
I immediately tried this and replaced the fridge with the most expensive option in Build Mode. Like others have already said, this workaround is still not solving the problem for me.
I do not have World Adventures, just patch 1.7 installed.
