  • There's no reason the moon wouldn't be added to Strangerville, it's standard Earth town that should experience moon cycles. Batuu is questionable, because it's hard to know if they qualify it as an actual off-world experience, or if it's just make believe in Disneyland.
  • I'd really want wood chopping for that log cabin experience, and also to build up stoves, grills, and fireplaces more. It was either that or Tea Party, as that would be a very cute social event. Pools are meh.
  • I like this concept, but not really sold on the Demon aspect of it. I think there'd be plenty to do with an improved Ghost Life State, the Afterlife Realm, and the Grim Reaper active career. I feel like adding the Demon part would detract from the other elements, and I would prefer to see Ghost elevated to the same level…
  • Workaholic is already a Lifestyle though, it's pretty similar.
  • I don't want the Sims to have ingrained online functions. So nothing like an MMO, nothing like multiple players in the same neighborhood, etc. As someone else mentioned, Animal Crossing has the kind of online functionality that I think might work with the Sims. It's first and foremost optional, and secondly, it preserves…
  • It's a dig at EA/The Sims for catering heavily to female frame Sims, with very little quality and diverse content for male frame Sims. Even the new Modern Menswear kit was a massive miss of the target.
  • Not even singlets?
  • I got Madrid! Thanks so much for the opportunity, as always!
  • You can either go to Manage Worlds and tinker with the world Sims from the Sims icon at the top, or use cas.fulleditmode on. If you do Manage Worlds, the played families you have are in the left tab, the unplayed/random townies are in the right tab, and the game can only keep about 200 of them before purging. So look…
  • I see that now. Stupid brain autocorrecting things I read without my realization.
  • There's absolutely nothing wrong with this statement though. A "household" is the inhabitant(s) of a home who own and/or maintain and upkeep the home. A family can be a household just as much as a group of unrelated individuals can be one. So the Watson Family Household is just as proper to say as the Amicable Acolytes…
  • I don't really care for them. They don't really make sense for me as an aspiration, they're more of a vacation goal. An aspiration is to be like the best Astronaut in the world, or grow the largest produce ever and win the next 5 fair contests with them or something like that. I would rather they sit down and really work…
  • Thanks as always! I'm in the USA. Your Score: 91% You're a True Expert! You got 32 correct out of 35! You scored better than 75% of quiz takers. Was a pretty easy quiz, I imagine to anyone who reads or plays games, since a lot of the terminology was common. The things that threw me off were like the government organization…
  • How? Have you not updated since the March 23rd patch that introduced bunk beds to the base game?
  • I don't think it'll be a selectable relationship, but they'll probably just have premade family trees.
  • I'm also against the concept of multiplayer. I think the Sims is a very personal type of game, and having other people intrude on that in real time would ruin it. Your world is yours to do with as you please, and adding in random strangers just opens the door to all kind of issues. Even if there was multiplayer like…
  • I'm really surprised by the level of content in this pack, and pleasantly surprised at that. I never expected to see the community's request for farming answered so solidly. The Sims team REALLY stepped it up with this pack, and I'm actually considering it for full price. Side note - I hope we can get canning/jamming or…
  • It was, there were rabbits in tons of scenes, and most of them weren't wearing jumpers (sweaters for us non-Brits). In the llama shaving scene you can see a calico rabbit who's unclothed.
  • It does not, from the various reviews, there's no specific checklist you need to follow for rooms since there's not actually the tech in place for the game to recognize what a specific room is (and god knows if it existed, maybe they could have programmed Sims to stop washing dishes in bathrooms). Listing the type of room…
  • Spoiler: It does not. I believe Carl exploited this in his review, and I've seen several people on the Reddit who have done this too. There's no actual room qualifications in the game, so the game doesn't know what room you're actually renovating. The fact that the gig says "Kitchen" or "Bedroom" is purely superficial.…
  • From what I've gleaned on watching reviews, this is correct. You have a stock list of things to do, like talk to clients, take pictures, renovate, then take more pics, then reveal. The job itself will be like "Floor Renovation" or "Kitchen Renovation" with no other requirements. A few videos even showed the ridiculousness…
  • You should, there's not been any kind of blocks before for new content with the bundles.
  • This is one of the packs I will get only if it goes on 50% off sale, which I understand is fairly rare for GPs. I don't actually hate the stuff in the pack. It disappoints me, but I do like the stuff, I just don't believe it's anywhere near worth 20$. The job needs work, and I'm hoping there are patches that correct it by…
  • I would agree. It's a well crafted pack with all of the hallmarks for a proper Game Pack. It's got a skill, a new venue, new music, tons of new gameplay items, and just overall fits seamlessly with the world of the Sims, complete with fun, quirky animations like farting while getting a massage.
  • I think you may be missing the point of Carl's review. His review made it abundantly clear that the rules the career followed were incredibly nebulous and rudimentary, to the point where you could overhaul their living room when tasked with a kitchen renovation and still succeed so long as you hit their likes. That's…
  • I understand that the Buy Mode assets were technically new , and great in quantity (Build mode was an ABSOLUTE JOKE with a single wallpaper and 3 doors). However, the issue I have (and Plumbella did too, along with several people on the subreddit) is that the style is something that we have gotten ad nauseum to the point…
  • At the moment, this is a "No." This gamepack didn't seem to offer much else new aside from the active career, which is a major letdown. I can use build mode on demand in public lots to fix things or make edits, so this is pretty much that same thing except for residents. I know people really like the BB stuff, but this too…
  • That would be a MASSIVE hot tub if it was one. There's even couches and lanterns situated around it for size comparison. That pool is at least 10x8 tiles in size, which immediately means it's not the standard size for a hot tub.
  • 1. We NEED burglars back. While this also means brining back law enforcement (which I know can be hot button these days), the Burglars have been iconic since the start of the Sims. It's a travesty that they're no longer in the game. 2. We need the sliders that were implemented for makeup to be implemented for hair and skin…
  • I really despise the trend of labeling feminine representing clothing as "male" clothing, even if it's built for a male frame in game. Nothing against wearing whatever you want, but when I'm trying to find specifically masculine representing CC for male Sims, it's an absolute pain in the 🐸🐸🐸🐸 to have to trudge through…
