Eh, I think it'll grow on us. I mean, and I know a lot of people say they don't want to have to use CC (even though most will), once CC comes out it'll be pretty easy to make them look more lifelike. And in my opinion, their faces look great. Just the hair is terrible.
I absolutely love this thread! Not much of a cheese person, but I have grape juice as I don't drink ^_^ -- Honestly, the more I see of the Sims 4, it's growing on me. But I've been seeing some threads where people are saying there is going to be no Create-A-Style, and that's really bugging me. There's no way EA is…
Yes yes yes, Best idea thread I've read in a while. These ideas are what made the sims 2 amazing! If they implemented all these ideas, I'd be more than willing to hand over my money for Sims 4. :D
I like some of your ideas, others not so much. More life stages, the nanny career option, better furniture, and a few others are great ideas. :D However, some of the things you posted I absolutely do not want in my game. TP is not something I want in my game. I know some players like it for story-making reasons, but it's…
It's hard to give any tips for playing the sims 3 because all simmers play differently. Some simmers are here only to build, others like making stories. You just have to explore all the new options and find what you're most interested in game. Explore all the new careers and wishes. You'll get the hang of it. Once you get…
Completely agree. Rarely do my sims interact on their own, and that was one of the best parts of sims 2. If I leave my sims alone for a few minutes, I come back to find each one reading books or painting but none are interacting. I hope that's changed in Sims 4.
Hahah! I completely understand the frustration. I used to be completely addicted to using cheats. I hated doing things the "hard" way. Especially when it came to a family with triplet babies or toddlers, no way. But like you said, it gets SO dang boring. My sims did the same routine over and over. I weaned myself down, but…
OMG yes! I swear, the lack of clothing and hair for males is insane. I rarely, rarely play a male sim because they ALWAYS look the same. I mean, c'mon, just take a look outside- guys are varied in appearance just as much as females.
False, probably. I'll wait to see what others think of it first. I don't need all the bugs and whatnot. TSBM wants seasons to be in the base game.
Chill out, people. Dang. Anyways, I like what the first few posters said- a little bit of both. I lean a little more towards the realism side, but I don't want them TOO realistic. What they've shown us so far, which yes I know it's not the final product, I don't really like. It's cute, I guess, but they have a LOT of work…
I have never played a sim from birth to death. (Man, I get bored way too fast.) I have never completed the raise a family life time wish. (Once again, I get bored too fast.) I have never played a plant sim. I have never made a blue/green/red sim. I have never interacted with ghost sims.
I absolutely love this idea! I don't see why it'd raise the rating if it was just simple interactions like holding hands, hugging, etc. That's not really "romance" in my eyes.
Completely agree! As it is, it takes my sim 2 hours just to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I mean, come on. I sit there and plan out this day -- Let's go to the park, then to the library, then to lunch! But then it takes me 2 hours to simply get in the car and to the park. I really hope they fix that in the sims…
By those phrases most people are saying that they want the interactions and activites to go back to the roots. Like those in the previous games. I'd be pretty dissapointed if there was a closed world. P.s. your little rainbow llama thing really creeps me, out. lol ;)
This this this. I lean towards the realistic side, but I don't want the sims to look like mannequins. Theres only so far you can go with realism before it gets a little creepy. I'm not completely happy with the sims they have in the Sims 4 banner they released, but not completely apalled by it either. A cartoony-realistic…
