One of my favourites is Evan. He was my first TS4 child. His parents were random generated neighbours of my first sim and I ended up liking them more than my own sim, so I started to play with them instead and well then they wanted to have a baby and I got Evan Anyway, I think Evan turned out to be adorable!
It seems I don't have many pictures that show Evan's face well, but here he is as a young adult upgrading his rocketship
Rafael Jones, youngest child of my legacy founder and Cameron Fletcher, just became a teen
I swear I don't do anything to these kids other than haircut and clothing changes.
He aged up while I wasn't paying attention (I was off at college with the two older kids). Oldest son Marcellus spotted him and mom at a restaurant and got suspicious about mom's mysterious well-built young dinner companion, till he figured it out.
I had 2 last ones of the in game born sims I showed before, age up to teen,

Started a save that veered off my main save so I could age my main family up and see if I could get attached to playing them as older versions of themselves since my toddler and child have stayed the same age since roughly 2018 LOL. So I aged up Beatrix and tried to make her look like a pretty youthful teen. I do think she makes a cute teen.
But then I went to age up Isla, and it changed her eye color from blue to brown for some reason in her child form and then wouldn't let me edit it, even in CAS full edit mode, so I got mad an abandoned the whole save lol
EDIT - Omg, just realized that Beatrix's eyes are brown too when they're supposed to be blue, UGH. Have to go check now to let me see if I can change hers...not that it matters. I'm abandoning this save
EDIT 2 - I cannot edit the eye colors once I age either of them up...I think I have CC eyes installed, might have something to do with that. Ugh, this is what happens when I actually try to play the sims like a normal person and actually use aging, I'm going back to my perpetual ageless save goodbyeee...

Not usually a family or generation type of player, but Snowy Escape has made family gameplay more fun for me.
Emiko and Kazuhiko are Haru's parents, though I'm not sure how he ended up with red hair lol, it was like that when he aged up into a toddler. Haru is a child now and Emiko is expecting another baby. It'll be interesting to see what Haru will look like as an adult.

So first, they are very pretty as child and teen and you should try to play the next phases of their lives just to broaden their story, even if its just a copy in a new save. As for the eye thing, eyes can either be in the eye catalog or the face paint catalog. If you use facepaint eyes, the advantage is that they can have different eyes for each outfit. They are like colored contact lenses. However, they do cover your sims actual eyes. So if you change the eye color on your sim and don't see the change, chances are you are using the facepaint eyes.
@SimsLady2000 it was CC two toned eye colors, they must have just had a glitch with aging up sims since all my sims had the option to edit eye color in their current states. The color selection panel had just disappeared when I aged up the girls and made brown eyes the default. I don’t really like the in game eyes so I might go look for CC eye colors that actually work lol

The first two are twins (I know!). And I didn't put makeup on Danielle, she grew up with it. I only added eyelashes.
