Well I guess I need to introduce myself.
Hi. I'm a relatively new Simmer, having started playing The Sims 4 at around March of this year, and it is indeed, my first Sims game. However, I did play another Maxis entry before that, Spore and Spore: Galactic Adventures, and I had been somewhat familiar with The Sims but I never really got into the game until The Sims 4. You can say that I'm a huge fan of the game, relatively newly converted Sims fan, enough for me to start posting on here in the wake of a new content pack coming up that I would like to share my opinions on as well as other facets of the community that interest me. I enjoy reading Sim guides online such as Carl Sims, watching Gray Still Plays on YouTube, Let's Game It Out's episode on the Sims 4 being my favorite episode (and one of the reasons I got into the Sims to begin with), and browsing the huge amount of mods for The Sims 4. While I do play the game in a somewhat unorthodox manner (my Sims are all based off humanfied personal OCs based off another video game franchise rather than myself or any real life family members, and I spent a good chunk of the game having a household that does mean stuff to each other all the time as well as managing like a 10+ Sim active household that does random stuff that goes nowhere lol and a lot of cheats are involved), I very much enjoy the amount of freedom I have within it.
In fact, I love my characters in the Sims 4 so much, I had imported them to other games. I've model imported my favorite Sim into Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and ported a good chunk of my personal cast to Garry's Mod as ragdolls, thanks to the Sims 4 Ripper tool.
I'm mostly a Nintendo fan, Mario specifically, and I have some modeling experience, if you want a taste of my game library. I do have some interest in modding the Sims 4 and making some CC; in fact my twin had made amiibo CC for our Sims game that we should probably share I guess.

Hello, all. I'm a "veteran" simmer, my first game was the third one, but I've been playing Sims 3 and 4 for roughly a decade now. Decided to finally make an account and see what's up. I really enjoy making Sims and I'm hoping I can find someplace to share screenshots of them. My name is my main Sim's initials, but I'll probably try to change it in the future.

Hello! I'm new in the forum, but I've been playing The Sims since 2001. LOL I love the Sims 4 and I look forward to meeting fellow simmers. Also, are we allowed to follow each other on Origin? Do let me know, I'd love to befriend you guys over there, too!

Hi, my name is Ceci and I've been playing Sims for almost 20 years now. I played Sims 1 as a kid, and have basically kept playing every new version up until Sims 4. Even though I've been playing the Sims for so long, I actually have never been part of the community. I finally started modding the Sims for the first time this year, and am now learning about all these forums and am super excited to get more familiar with the community and everyone here. I'm hoping to become a fully fledged Forum member so that I can make a suggestion on the "The Sims 4 Ideas Corner" for a very simple change in the Sims 4 UI. Anyways, I'm super excited continue learning more about the community and meet new people that love Simming as much as I do

Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa/Lyss and today is my first day on the forums! 😁
The Sims 3 was my first sims game and it was the first game I had bought to play that wasn't Minecraft! 😂 I don't remember when I got The Sims 3 but I know it has been a few years and now I enjoy The Sims 4! I would love to eventually have all of the extra content and packs to go along with it because I enjoy recording YouTube videos as well. I am currently doing the Disney Princess Challenge and this has been the longest I have ever lasted in a challenge because I used to always get bored 😂😂 I am looking forward to being more active here on the forums!
Thanks for reading! 💛

I suppose I'll also introduce myself,
I go by PixieWarrior115 and I joined The Sims forums literally a few minutes ago, primarily because I wanted to suggest something that I think would make the game a little more enjoyable, but since I'm just a new member, unfortunately, I'm unable to do so. While I'm here I've decided to get to know The Sims community a little better and take a look at all of the other things here.
I've only played one version of The Sims so far, which is The Sims 4. I'm pretty sure I started playing around 2016-2017. At the moment I'm playing a world where my boyfriend and I made our own characters, it's really fun and has definitely kept us occupied during quarantine haha. I feel like it's more fun to play The Sims when you create a little bit of a background for your sim(s).
Thanks for reading and as most of you say,

I guess I'll introduce myself? Idon'tknowhowtodothis.
Hello, and greetings from Finland! I'm Jade, and I've been playing Sims since I was a kid. 🙂 (of course, I only actually got interested in properly playing few years ago) I joined just now because I kinda just want to meet fellow simmers, get to know the community and chat here from time to time. The Sims 2 was my first game, but I've played The Sims 4 a lot for a few years. Also I installed the third game on my laptop, and it runs ok, so I can play that as well now, finally! 😆 (Hoping to play the second one as well some day again.) I enjoy making sims and playing with them (can be just a regular game or a challenge, I love playing them with my own vague rules). I also do like building. (But I don't think I'm that good at it.) Simply put, I love The Sims.
A bit awkward text, but thanks for reading, bye! ❤

Hello. I'm a bit of a newbie Simmer, only started playing the game back in February of this year. I live in Melbourne, and we've been in a pretty hard lockdown recently, so the Sims has been an absolute lifeline of boredom busting for me. I play Grim as a character in my game, with an increasingly large Reaper family (hence the user name, plus it's a reference to a song from one of my all time favourite bands). Game packs I own so far are Seasons, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Realm of Magic & Get To Work; not sure I'll be able to add any new ones until I upgrade my computer though. Nice to meet everyone. Happy Simming! Or in my case Happy Grimming!

I'm Emily, and I first started playing Sims over 14 years ago! This started when a school friend of mine introduced me to the world with the original Sims game at a sleepover. Every weekend we'd spend hours creating ourselves and childhood crushes in-game, and plan out super elaborate storylines to live vicariously through. And it seems nothing has changed since then because here I am now still doing as much...(well save from the whole crush thing...) and now I've also started to share some of my efforts over on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm3iY0GiaPd-e4NdMXSo1-w?
I specialise in speedbuilds and machinimas but I'm still very much a newbie so any constructive criticism, feedback, and support would be greatly appreciated! I live in England and we've just entered another national lockdown so anticipating getting some new videos up in the coming weeks! 😊 I've also started adding my builds and families to my EA gallery which can be found here: shorturl.at/cjDHZ or by searching for the EA id: SeeEmilyPlaySims (and unticking the maxis curated box under advanced) so feel free to have a nose and check out my style. At the moment I'm in a autumny/halloweeny mood so that's the vibe I've got going 😅
Great to meet you all!
