Quick question, is my Graphics Driver Too low? AMD Radeon HD7700 (I have all EPs/SPs/GPs) I run everything on High detail, I play offline. Processor is Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80GHz
When I play my screen lags on rotation and the loading screens are low, and the household loaded music plays before the loading screen stops. Thanks07:28AM-

Hi @rosemow ! I have kind of a general question about the new EP Get Famous. First of all, I absolutely LOVE it :smiley: I was wondering however, with the acting career..my Sims have been promoted after every single gig they've done, no matter if they get a silver, or a low gold after they complete a performance. One of my Sims is already on Level 8 because she's been promoted so quickly, and her acting skill is barely 6. Is it supposed to be that easy? I know it has something to do with if you succeed in giving a risky performance, and I have only had my Sim's risky performance fail once. I mean, I'm not complaining because it's allowed me to gain access to a lot of amazing gigs really quickly, but based on all the other careers, I kind of feel like it's a glitch or something. rosemowHello :) It is great that you are enjoying the Get Famous Pack :) It may differ from one sim to another how they progress in the acting career. She may have other skills that are helping her in her career, and also preparation that she does may be helping her. You may find it differs if you have another sim doing the acting career.

I get lost in the forum a bit because I did not use it before, so be understanding as I write not where you need it. I have a problem with vampire power points. I downloaded the mod to be able to use the cheats again, but still, as I enter the code for points, it increases the level of the vampire to the maximum, but the points are standing in place from that moment, you can not increase them. I had a break in playing a bit, when I came back and turned it on, the game has updated and since then I have a problem with that. Before that I increased another character in the game to the highest rank and then, when I entering the code again, the rank was still the same, the highest one, but the points continued to multiply. Hi, after the new November 2018 update I've been having problems with my game. It's let me get to the worlds page but keeps loading back to that whenever I try to click play. Now it won't let me play. It's saying "Error! Cannot start because required game data is missing or damaged". Yes it probably is mods/cc but i'm not for sure?? I have the mod conflict detector but i'm confused. A lot are highlighted - "Requires extraction". I've tried extracting them, but i'm not sure that i'm even doing it right. I'm not really good at this at all and it's getting very frustrating! I've tried multiple things, but it hasn't helped. I was thinking of repairing the game through Origin but am hesitant, as I do not know if it will reset my whole game. I do not know what to do anymore. I hope you can give me advice and help me fix my game. I would very much appreciate it, thanks :) .0November 28

Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Delete the cache files

Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.
This is a link to a thread that contains a list of some of the broken /updated mods/cc since the Get Famous patch. Try checking to see if mods/cc that you use are on that list, then update the mods/cc.

Go to game options and check that the " enable custom content and mods" button is ticked, which is found in :
Game Options | Other | Enable Custom Content and Mods. If it isn't ticked, do that.Also check that the script mods allowed button is ticked as well. Exit the game. Then go back into the game again and see if the cc appears then . -

rosemowTry moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Launch the game, and a new mods folder will be generated in the sims 4 folder. Exit the game. Then put your mods/cc from the old mods folder into the newly generated mods folder and test to see if the issues remain. Make sure that there is only one resource.cfg file in the folder
If a new mods folder is not generated, and if you use One Drive , it could be causing this issue, Try seeing if there is a mods folder in One Drive . The game may be using that mods folder instead of the one in Documents -Electronic Arts -sims 4 folder . One Drive can cause issues.

Hi, I'm new to the forum but need some help as I'm not the most tech savvy person. After the terrain manipulation update, whenever I turn on cc, the UI at the bottom of the screen disappears. This means that I can't enter build/buy mode or really do anything! I turned off cc for a while and have restarted my game plenty times, but yesterday I turned cc back on and it happened again! rosemowHello :) All script mods were broken by the latest patch. This is a link to a thread that lists some of the broken /updated mods/cc . It would be best to see if your mods are listed there, and if there is an updated version of the mod to install.

PikhachuSo I had a vampire sim, I cheated for grandmaster and selected all my weaknesses and powers and so on, eventually I used a cheat to turn my sim into a human, but some of the powers like the normal emotion and getting sick of real food stayed, and even with the cheats to remove them, they still stay on my sim, any help?

Hey, I've noticed an issue with my Sims 4 game. My sounds seem to be quieter closer to the source, and will get louder to a certain point the further I move away from the source. I'm not sure what to do to fix this, and it is very irritating having to have my camera at a certain distance away from my Sim, as being close to her means I can't hear anything she does. I haven't seen any discussions about this, and i don't know how to post my own. Do you have any insight?0November 24

Try deleting the cache files and see if that helps

With that mod, you need to unzip the candlemaking base rar file and unzip the candlemaking candle rar file, and place the two package files into your mods folder. -

rosemowIt depends on the particular mod, how to install it. There is usually a guide to installing them on the site where you download the mod from.
With script mods though , they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder.
For example, with the MCCC mod you can have
Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC
But you can’t have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods- Script mods- MCCC
A good free zip unzip program is 7zip.
