...it's not even like you get any kind of answer from the team, moderators or support. It's like "Thanks for the money, suckers!" Just keep adding more and more junk, guess they think we'll just suck it up...
Add it to the massive list of things that don't work. My painting sim learnt pretty much EVERY other skill in game while I played another household. When I decided to play that house again; the only skill that had not gone up? Painting, of course... I swear; Four Sim iterations, the only thing that's happened is that sims…
I get that the other way around. My sim will sit to turn on the TV then get up, get something from the fridge... standing. Conversation? Standing. Just for no reason? Standing... why?
...and still, there is no way for my sim to age up if I really don't want to buy a cooker and learn to bake cakes... Buy cakes you say? Who does that in real life???
If you leave tap water out it will spoil... it becomes more than water! You'd not want to drink it... it doesn't take half an hour though. :) Perhaps it has a fly in it. :)
I started a party, and one of the orders was that I made 8 drinks... I buy a bar, and start to learn mixology... The next party I throw demands that I bake a cake... I buy a cooker and start to learn cooking... The next party demands that I flirt with 5 people and kiss 5 times... This is just the worst kind of OCD that…
Some of you have expressed it so much better then I could... :) My choice is being written out of the system. I'm just following whims and orders. Who cares if I wanted to create a pizza eating, TV loving, gregarious sim? The first thing he does is start making salads, going jogging and learning to sing...
I've plumbed up on making my latest vampire... chose a feat I decided later that I don't want... so I need to reset her... As far as I can tell; I need to buy a bar, level up in mixology and then create the drink I need to reset all skills... crazy! Why can't I just throw a party and invite a promising mixologist vampire…
The sims complete... inability... to be able to hold their concentration on one thing. A book. They pick it up, wander across the room, read for all of 30 seconds... dump it and move on to something else! The hot tub. They get in... sit for 30 seconds... then get out, usually to go and wash their hands! When a game makes…
A fix for shallow/deep emotions... Currently; I add 5 lights to a bare room and my sim is instantly karmically happy... Really; Lights, tv, stereo... etc. are are shallow emotions... Deep is settling down with your significant other, a marriage... true happiness! :)
3. Bring back the option to buy the mobile phone. I know that you look around your world and everybody has their nose welded to a small screen... but look a little closer... everybody?
2. A fridge that has only three available meal slots and two snack slots. More expensive fridges have more slots. You can decide what meals fill the slots. This would stop sims from preparing food that I didn't ask them to and getting in the way of the caterer at parties. (A caterer should turn up with pre prepared meals,…
1. A way to buy skill slots for a couple of reward points. A way to activate the skill bar with a magazine. This way I could only buy the skill slots I want. A 'schooling' system to unlock parts of the bar... then all sims would not be created equal...
There was a Sims 3 advert that said "what would happen if you'd spent years stuck in a box, and suddenly it was opened..." now they know what happens when you put someone back in that box and how mad they get! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIbMxqJTx6M
To avoid suntan I still recommend building a portico. When my vampires leave for school or work and grey out, I make them sit on the sofa... that way they auto-enter the house upon getting home.
Level up your bar skill and make the Plasma Jane... hoping for a range of vamp safe and withered stomach friendly food and drink... can you step up to the plate, devs? ;)
Hmmm. Fangbangers... There is a reason that most vampires are looking for pure bloods and having blood borne diseases forever sounds like no fun... :) Must be terrible living with something so leechy.
