  • Wait, what? "Guys" as in The Sims players who are male, or male sims? Or something completely different than what I gather was inferred? I ask because I know nothing of this expansion. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Indeed, me too. Mcbean Parkway, Valencia CA. Cheers. Mcbean
  • I could be wrong but it may help if your toddler has certain traits. What these traits may be I do not know. If those of you who have had this happen could post what traits your toddlers have/had then maybe we could prove/disprove this hypothesis. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Attractive makes it easier for you to become friends with other sims by giving you an immediate boost to the Friendship meter. Eye candy gives a boost to other sims moods. They feel happier seeing attractive people. Cheers. Mcbean *Edited for awful spelling
  • Yup. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Oh, bloody Liam. I'd like you covered in bees, Liam. (shakes fist) Cheers. Mcbean

  • "...I like my women, like I like my coffee... COVERED IN BEES!!!..." Cheers. Mcbean

  • Umm, I'm sorry, but when did Santa become synonymous with religion? Did I miss that memo? If so, could someone please point me to the local Our Santa of Grace Upon the Mountain? I'd most definitely attend there. Beeteedub, I too think it would be smashing to have Santa as a babydaddy. Cheers. Mcbean
  • I kind of miss the karaoke feature from Night Life. Maybe they'll include it in a later expansion. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Indeed. Thanks, Betty. That was the kind of answer I was looking for, too. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Bienvenido a las forums! Es bien para usa el "Search" funccion. Lo siento no que tenga repestas. The protests in front of City Hall are not really indicative of anything in the game. I one time saw them protesting a burrito (it might have been shwarma but it looked like a burrito to me). The developers just had a little…
  • I get friend requests from people I've never seen, let alone spoken to, all the time. If they are on the up and up, then I accept them and see if they post anything in my My Comments but for the most part I do find it odd that they want to be my friend (well, I find it odd anyone wants to, to be perfectly honest). It's not…
  • Sorry to tangent here, but SayYellow11, your signature is fantastic. Ubercute. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Indeed. I always get kind of weirded out when having children talk to female teens. With the height levels they are at the children are often just talking into the teens dugs. Awwwwkkwwwwaaaaaaaaarrrrrdddddddd. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Most simmers blogs are listed in their signatures, however most are linked to other blogs that they are reading. So, if you like the one you are reading, you should also check out the ones that they are reading. It's a good way to get started. This thread has some that might interest you. Cheers. Mcbean

  • Indeed, I am with you. I, too, would like to know what all this kerfuffle is all about. What does the book entail, what does it do? All I can see is mist and pretty lights come out of it. So, please, I would like to be enlightened as well. Cheers. Mcbean
  • If memory serves, I believe you are required to have an internet connection to play The Sims 3. You have to download the updates or it will not load. So, if someone did not have an internet connection to get the updates, then it seems it would be a moot point. Addendum: An internet connection to initially load the game…
  • I wish all sims would gain weight if you left them alone, even the the thin ones you make from the start. I like having to keep my sims exercising so that if they (or I as it would seem) want to stay thin, they need to work for it. I was hoping this was a new feature in Generations but from what I'm hearing it does not…
  • No, the mother just ate too much chocolate when she was pregnant, is all. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Hold Ctrl Shift and "C" for the cheat box to appear at the top of the screen. When it does appear, then type Resetsim firstname lastname, where as the firstname and lastname is the sim's first name and last name. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Yeah, their energy bar doesn't go up, but the get the "Buzzed" (I believe) moodlet and won't be able to sleep until they "Crash". It doesn't last long, and often enough they are going for a spot before the need it. It actually, to me, is more annoying than helpful. Beeteedub, welcome back, Sam. Cheers. Mcbean

  • Oh, neato. Are you going to be continuing on with it, or has it seen its last days? Cheers. Mcbean
  • Hey worm, what happened to The Forum News? It's not there anymore. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Wow. Indeed, wow. The last thread, not as bad as this one. I'd recommend digging that one up and continuing off that one. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Did the other thread get that bad? Cheers. Mcbean
  • I guess, but that seems like a bigger to do than I am willing to undertake. You have to somehow get the floor wet, wait for an appliance to break and then have them fix it twice. Too much. I just want to say: "You there! Yeah, you. No, not him, you. Yes, the one I am pointing my mouse at. You. Go over there. Do that thing.…
  • I wish there was a faster, less cheaty way of offing a sim, like the Cow Plant in Sims 2. Sometimes your elder sim is reaching way past the 100 day mark and you just yearn for that sweet release... for them that is. I'm not all about killing off sims in a morbid way, but buh grr me, sometimes I just need that population…
  • This is why you shouldn't park in red zones. Tsk tsk. Cheers. Mcbean
  • Like Drew Barrymore in Firestarter. She sees into my soul. I don't like it. She'll tell her friends how dark it is in there. I don't need that going around... d'oh! Do you have Generations? Maybe this is a Memories glitch like Sims 2 used to have. Cheers. Mcbean
