It was the first day of winter, and time for George to age up to teen.
Kristina was in a good mood when she woke up and had breakfast in her new home.
Kristina had no skills, so I had Amelia prepare a tray of skill enhancement drinks. Only one turned out to be good, but one was all I needed.
Boosted by the drink, Kristina listened to a Charisma podcast and read a Cooking book, and gained a point in each skill. Meanwhile, George got to know Dexter - he has the Animal Lover trait and he's delighted to have a dog in the house.
Dexter chased away the postwoman...
... and socialised with the Hinkle family's dogs across the street. I noticed they looked similar to him and checked Dexter's family tree. Yes, they are related!

Or, has anyone else downloaded the converted Sims 4 Seasons Christmas tree from Around the Sims 3, and knows where to find it? I've looked under plants, sculptures, misc. decorations and floor lights, and I can't see it anywhere.

Thank you, I am having with the new EP as it gives me new land to explore as I'm questing. The sad thing is is that there are a lot of players trying to be the 1st player to reach level 120. And when this happens, the rest of the players will know as there will be a pop up in the game saying that so and so has reached 120. Now myself, I would rather take my time trying to level as I love to explore the area and find little hidden areas and treasures and such...

Thank you... I have been playing for a long time. But I have to say that I normally have most of my characters up to whatever the highest level is before the next EP comes out, but not this time as I had 9 characters total across 3 servers at level 110 as I had stopped playing on my level 100's to play on my lower leveled characters. Just in the last 2 weeks, I had leveled up 3 characters to 110 so that they can be ready for this new EP...

It was time for George's birthday party. The extended Gant family and a few townie party crashers gathered outside the door.
While they were slowly coming in, I wanted to see if I could get Lloyd and Kristina engaged. She had to leave for her work at the Bistro in an hour.
Their romantic bar was going up, while the house was slowly being filled by guests.
But before they could get to "irresistible", Kristina changed into her outerwear. Time to go to work!
The extended family was behaving in a delightfully chaotic way. Many of them were booing others for wearing the wrong kind of clothes. (Leave Michelle alone, Odetta, she is heavily pregnant! She can wear what she likes!)
George's uncle Neville was dancing a slow dance with Celia, the widow of the recently deceased uncle Alan.
Everyone gathered around George when it was time to age up. I left him the clothes and haircut the game gave him when he aged up - I think both suit him!
I like his looks! I might add glasses - I think they would suit him.
George and his mother started dancing to encourage the other guests. Michelle joined the dance and didn't go into labour, so no babies born during the party this time! Everyone left saying it had been a great party.

Hey everyone! I have been MIA the past few days. Not sure if anyone actually noticed because, well, I am not actually part of your "crew" here because I new still... And to be honest, I am not even sure you are actually really interested in my game or my updates and pictures. I just don't have anyone else to share them with. Anyway, I had to take a few days off of playing and finally went in to play last night but the game was acting very strange and I am not sure why. Things in the queue were just aborted... Ben almost starved to death because he wouldn't eat. I was trying to get Ashley and Sebastian to invite their best friends over, but they got rejected every time. (No, they were working, they just straight up said "sorry, i don't feel like it"). I honestly have no idea what was happening, so I just quite playing for the night. That being said, I didn't get much of an update. I took a few pictures but nothing special.
Actually, I realize that I still didn't give my update from the last time when Colin had his birthday. I suppose I will do that soon. I haven't read what I have missed in this thread yet, either, from the days I have missed. I will do that, but I may not have lots of comments because it might be just too much at a time. You all understand right?
I have also been working on my slideshows and finished 2 of them. I am maybe going to add a little text for back story, but I will upload them and share them, if you are at all interested...

I know you've been sick and yeah, we notice when folks are not around for a few days. I just figured the illness in your case was keeping you away, or sometimes life gets super busy. It happens to most of us at some point. I do enjoy reading your stories and hope you will continue. Bummer they are giving you a fit though. Some posters don't comment on anyone's posts, some will say thanks, but won't comment back, some post on certain peoples, some post when they have time, some post on pretty much everyone. It really varies. We all understand. I like comments and feedback to be honest, but, if some folks don't comment on my posts that is ok too. I know real life must come first. I try to give comments since I like them myself. That is my choice because right now I'm not working full time and I have time to enjoy and comment on the stories. That may change if I have to go back to work full time. More money would be great, but full time...blah! As for not part of the 'crew'. There is no crew that I'm aware of. Some folks have been here since the beginning and may have a closer relationship then others. Some folks pop in once in a blue moon and others like me are here too much! lol No membership is required. Just friendship and yep....comments when you can cause we all like sharing our love of our Sims3 sims and stories.

Some maps are better than others for driving lessons so Roaring Heights must be good. In Sunset Valley they will stop once depending on which direction they go when they get around the fishing spot near their house.
I keep meaning to change out the auto romance mod so teens can only ask each other to go steady and no more but I always forget so I will just have to put up with the occasional teen proposal. I won't allow them to marry as teens though! I had that flavour in once and got sick of getting popups that they were married and I had to move another teen in the house!
Shannon had maxed gardening skills when I started the save so I didn't realize how fast the tractor was for skilling until the boys started. Some people might not like it but I am happy
I look forward to seeing who Maura does end up with then even if it isn't the IF Will you be having Maura resurrect Goodwin at some point? I can't even imagine how painful reinstalling Store stuff would be! Good luck *hugs*

The tractor seems to be a super skiller! I didn't know about it before because Shannon started the save with maxed gardening skills.
I also don't like sims talking in the bathroom but not because it creeps me out but because it's too small to get good pics
Ralph's house was tiny! It only had one chair at the table but I added two more. Unfortunately a sim coming through the door as Shannon went to sit down made him try to find another spot and the only sitting spot was the bath!
I also love it when I see townies teaching toddlers their skills

Everyone gathered around George when it was time to age up. I left him the clothes and haircut the game gave him when he aged up - I think both suit him!
I like his looks! I might add glasses - I think they would suit him.
George and his mother started dancing to encourage the other guests. Michelle joined the dance and didn't go into labour, so no babies born during the party this time! Everyone left saying it had been a great party.

@Springfairy556 -Building isn't exactly my favorite part of the game though I've been great at it and find it more enjoyable to build something that has working routing instead of using something that dosen't work.You'd find building more fun as you practiced and got better at it.It's also one sure way to get exactly what you want for a family's home.I've not had to reinstall my game and I've got way too much CC with thousands of package files of it in my Mods folder.Great update!

Actually, I realize that I still didn't give my update from the last time when Colin had his birthday. I suppose I will do that soon. I don't really understand any of those programs so can't help with that. Perhaps you need to reload and hopefully it will show up? I know they recommend taking the cache's out when you add new stuff so the new stuff will show up.

I know you've been sick and yeah, we notice when folks are not around for a few days. I just figured the illness in your case was keeping you away, or sometimes life gets super busy. It happens to most of us at some point. I do enjoy reading your stories and hope you will continue. Bummer they are giving you a fit though. Some posters don't comment on anyone's posts, some will say thanks, but won't comment back, some post on certain peoples, some post when they have time, some post on pretty much everyone. It really varies. We all understand. I like comments and feedback to be honest, but, if some folks don't comment on my posts that is ok too. I know real life must come first. I try to give comments since I like them myself.

Some maps are better than others for driving lessons so Roaring Heights must be good. In Sunset Valley they will stop once depending on which direction they go when they get around the fishing spot near their house.
I keep meaning to change out the auto romance mod so teens can only ask each other to go steady and no more but I always forget so I will just have to put up with the occasional teen proposal. I won't allow them to marry as teens though! I had that flavour in once and got sick of getting popups that they were married and I had to move another teen in the house!
Shannon had maxed gardening skills when I started the save so I didn't realize how fast the tractor was for skilling until the boys started. Some people might not like it but I am happy
I look forward to seeing who Maura does end up with then even if it isn't the IF

The tractor seems to be a super skiller! I didn't know about it before because Shannon started the save with maxed gardening skills.
I also don't like sims talking in the bathroom but not because it creeps me out but because it's too small to get good pics
Ralph's house was tiny! It only had one chair at the table but I added two more. Unfortunately a sim coming through the door as Shannon went to sit down made him try to find another spot and the only sitting spot was the bath!
I also love it when I see townies teaching toddlers their skills
