My sim has been forced to marry a rich sim (Landgraab was good) and take his money so that she could move into the $7500 a week apartment. It has no neighbours, peace reigns and now she can sleep at night. Apart from having to live with the guilt of breaking up a happy marriage of course.

Living sims as well as dead are subject to culling, they do not need to be dead to be culled. The deciding factor is the 180 limit, once you hit that then sims WILL be culled unless you have the no culling mod installed. Culling wont stop, its essential to the way the game works, its not going to be fixed very easily. Culling must happen otherwise you will end up with a bloated game file that will be very slow to load. What we need is the ability to selectively mark sims or their urns that must not be culled.
