Has anyone else's game slowed WAY down since installing EL? I do have a good amount of CC, however I have a high end gaming computer and sims is always super fast. But immediately after installing EL it is insanely slow, the loading screen is super long, and it lags. Anyone else? Any fixes?

I would only want it if there was a whole baby pack or update. A couple of items like a swing or playmat. Ability to take them in a stroller. Things like that. If they just added the ability to carry them around and that's it I wouldn't be interested as they don't do much, I usually skip that stage as of now.

This has been an issue for awhile for sim children, so I'm guessing it's probably an issue for some toddlers as well. Omg the toddler checking. And the toddler "watching". Drives me nuts! They do it constantly. I tend to drag my toddlers' needs up on things that take forever. For example, if I'm having them gain a skill and they need to use the potty seat, I sometimes just cheat rather than wait four hours for them to even walk there.

Another followup question for everyone. For those who don't cheat needs, do you feel the need to monitor them closely? Or do you let your sims do their own thing most of the time? I feel like I can't help micromanaging them and never letting their needs get low, or even yellow for very long.

@Livinity Haha that makes sense. Do you ever play with a lot of sims (like 3-4 or more)? If so, do you find it hard to manage it all? The more sims I have the more likely I am to cheat their needs.

I only keep masterpieces that match some room in my house and I want to hang up. It's nice to have decor that my sim actually made. However, it's only happened a couple of times. I sell almost all of the masterpieces my sims make.

Yeah it's the keyboard, first time I tried it I was like what the heck are those noises! It's like the little weird sounds that come on keyboards like that haha.

It happens to me all the time too, both people I know and random people my sims have never met. I personally love it, gives me great opportunities to have my sims meet people. If they are busy I just have them ignore the visitors.

I haven't. There are a few toddlers in the neighborhood, but my sim hasn't personally met them yet so I can't have a playdate with them. I guess I need to get on that.

That's totally normal, even with sun resistance (it doesn't stop the sun from hurting them, just slows it). I can't help but try to get As for kids and teens, and work on all the skills for all ages. I can't even think of a time when I've let one slack off, even the ones that aren't heirs I push. Sometimes I take them all to the local toddler park and have the kids do their homework while the toddler plays lol.

Are your sims on a ley-line maybe? If not, sounds like a bug. My sims do sometimes have single babies but I've noticed twins are a LOT more common in sims 4, I probably have twins 50% of the time.

I almost never have a party because you can't plan them ahead like you used to in sims 2, so it's always a bad time to have a party. I just make a cake (I wish you could still just buy one) and then blow the candles out.

I had a custom content high chair that whenever it would get dirty it would turn rainbow just like that. I am assuming it was that the creator didn't include a texture for the dirty setting and so the game replaced it with that. It's kind of odd that your sim would do it though, especially if you don't have a custom skin.

I am so glad other play with a lot of families! And it seems like a week is the most common time to switch so maybe I will try that. I am excited to have relationships between all the families, without them necessarily being related. I already had Bella Goth start up a club with two neighbors, so that's fun.
