I love this new background  I had to start up IE to get it cause the option doesn't show up on Chrome. Looks great on my desktop and the girl on the right, her facial expression and pose makes me laugh every time I see it
This world is just great! :D First time I actually pre-orderd/purchased a SimPoint bundle in anticipation of buying a new world. My sim self will be very happy here with no sun, ever! :D And I'm really looking forward to running my own business, I missed that from TS2 OFB. The whole atmosphere of this world is perfect for…
I completely agree. I have been a huge fan of The Sims since 2000. With each new generation I feel the game has gotten better. The differences from TS1 to TS2 to TS3 are huge, but it seems the 4th is taking many steps backwards. There is nothing at all I have seen to make me want to make the move to the 4th and spends…
My lifeguard experience has been pretty mellow, once I had 3 people drowning but my sim got to all of them in time. The higher up in the career the faster your sim runs and performs their job better. I'm also running a couple Nraas mods so maybe they fix whatever is causing all the sims to drown in your game.
They would send it to the email associated with your account, the same one you use to log in to this website. Since you are able to log in and post to the forum, you probably deleted a different email account so you shouldn't have a problem.
Your processor is really slow. Even some smartphones are faster. Minimum requirements for Sims 3 is dual core 1.8ghz for vista/7. Your's is only a dual core 1.3ghz and you have windows 8 which would require probably at least a dual core 2ghz.
I don't know what the specs for University Life are yet, probably something like the others, but the requirements they post are only for base + ep, not all ep's and sp's. You can find pretty good graphics cards with 1gb dedicated memory for $100-$150 depending on exact model. A whole new computer isn't necessary if you…
DxDiag doesn't post any personal information, just info about your pc specs. From the looks of it, You only have a dual core with integrated graphics. Integrated Graphics are not really for gaming, you need a graphics card with dedicated memory. Just about all the Sims 3 games require a graphics card with minimun 128mb…
If you want to live in a highrise in another world you have to add the highrise lots from bin in edit town, or when making a new lot, add the shell and build the interior.
I tried a couple times yesterday and I got the error. Tried again just now and it finally worked! Patched through the launcher. *edit - I just reformatted my computer and reinstalled all The Sims 3 games so maybe that has something to do with it working for me*
LOL.. The Sims 3 isn't even that advanced to need those specs. You will have no problem playing on max settings. Your processor is top of the line, as is your graphics card, 2nd best out right now from Nvidia. These are the specs I'm looking at for my next pc, and I play Skyrim, and other performance demanding games..
Oh I just now found it. I doubt it will cost that much, it must be a typo. They would just lose business to make a game cost $10 more than it does on Origin. I'm pretty sure the Limited Edition disc version will show up eventually. They always had it before so there's no reason not to have it this time.
Great pictures! So much detail, your graphics card is amazing! :) I really like the silly face pic, and the speakers nailed to palm trees is, different. Lol. I usually have the rock speaker that came with Outdoor Living Stuff Pack, so sims can play all music genres and it blends in well with the beach.
My clubs/bars are always packed too when I play a world other than Bridgeport. I only have 1 or 2 of each type since NPC's usually only hit up the hot spots. All lots that are bar, club, lounge or hangout can be a hot spot so It's better to have only a few, if you put a lot of work into a lot and don't want it to be empty.
I know the thread has nothing to do with The Sims game, but there are many simmers on the east coast affected by the storm so I thought it would be appropriate. Since there were so many posts in the first thread I was right, but I guess ea doesn't want anything posted not game related. * It can't be just about business.…
I haven't played much because I'm spending time remodeling Sunset Valley before Seasons is out. I did test out swimming in the ocean with a sim, and noticed Jack Bunch went into the ocean too.
I'm so excited! :D luckily I'll be pretty busy these next 2 weeks so the time will go by a little faster for me. Been waiting for SEASONS since Sims 3 first came out!
Well it all depends where you live. I always buy in store at Fry's Electronics. You can also try their website, or Amazon, NewEgg. It's about the same price everywhere $100-$110. It's a very good card, and considering the 9800 which is a 4 year old card is still around $60, $100 is not that expensive for a good video card…
