Just discovered an interesting merfolk glitch. Apparently, because children and younger do not have a merform, cheating them to their teenage years makes the game think they are a mermaid or merman without giving them a tail.
I had to make Sora eat 3 mermadic kelps so the game would give him his tail. His plumbob didn’t have the indicator that he was a merman, but he had all the abilities of one.
Ezra has officially been turned into a werewolf! Second photo is him and his wolf-dog, Tessa.
Luella, Luca (twins), and Aurora playing together. Aurora is an alien toddler that was unexpected; Ezra (werewolf) is a scientist and after exploring Sixam she came into Ezra and Stella's lives.

@Metior_Ice I completely forgot to keep track of what's going on in here. I've been so caught up in playing with my werewolf everything else has faded into the background. I have my own story to get updated too.🙂

@DaniRose2143 I got a little carried away with my updates. Sorry about that. I’ll share a link to the original story in my next update.
Basically, I’ve been making updates about what I’ve been up to in my game, experimenting with some things, and exploring how the environment impacts merfolk. I was sharing so many updates because I got excited about the recent patch, and I was hoping for feedback regarding some of my ideas. I was posting way too fast, but the reactions to my posts helped me.
Lily Feng supported her National Leader husband in most everything: his constant parties with supporters, his semi-social-media-savvy that required her to spend long hours editing video, the drone that invaded even a quiet game of chess.
But she could not get used to the baby. True, Victor hadn't known until almost the last minute that he was having the baby. That part wasn't his fault. Yet the days went by and he remained adamant that he would not send it back to the homeworld, or adopt it out to an alien family. He had even named the thing.
It wasn't that Lily hated aliens. She hated all babies equally.
Often, she felt as if she, not Victor, were the victim of the abduction. She could have sympathized with Victor except that he was so meltingly happy all the time about the baby. It was almost as if he'd welcomed the whole experience. Meanwhile no one had asked her permission, or even her opinion. A little monster had invaded her home, not with rayguns, but with penetrating screams and diaper odors that wafted even to the farthest room of her beautiful penthouse, and there was nothing she could do about it.
It didn't help that their wonderful butler, Ben, who loved children, had just died, and they hadn't had a chance to replace him yet. They started out talking about how to go about hiring, and it turned into yet another argument about the baby.
..."I don't care whether we get the best nanny in the city, I can't stand having that creature in my house! I want it out!"
"Maybe I should go too!"
"You are so attached to each other, maybe you should!"
For the first time in their long marriage, Lily slept alone, in the butler's room.
Victor loved his wife, but he knew he was all Stephen had. He had to do whatever Stephen needed most.
In the morning, the distance remained between Victor and Lily.
Victor met with Tanvi Gandhi, an old friend of Ben's. They had chatted a few times over the years and she struck Victor as kind and gentle. And she was between jobs. And Lily liked her, which right now was the most important criterion.
Or second most important. Most important was her way with Stephen.
She got the job. (I added her to the household.)
The National Leader family's nanny needs to look a little more elegant. Victor bought Tanvi a new wardrobe.
She proved to be very capable in the kitchen as well.
Lily still couldn't cope.
When Stephen became a toddler, Victor and Tanvi packed bags and took Stephen to stay at the National Leader Estate. The top floor was a little apartment that Victor and Lily had used a handful of times. Victor hoped that, as Stephen grew older, he and Lily could reconcile; Tanvi could provide a way for Stephen to be out of Lily's hair most of the time. But for now, Stephen needed to be somewhere where all of his adults loved him and desired his happiness.
Before they left, Victor left one last note on Lily's vanity: "Divided we fall."
@DaniRose2143 I hope this helps you catch up, and I'll have a link ready. If I remember correctly, you have a story in the Creative Corner? Can you share a link? It would make it easier for me to find it.
Hopefully, this update helps others follow my next update. It's sorta of a sumamry of earlier updates.
Previously: Summer Vaction in Sulani
The younger twins went on Summer Vacation in Sulani with the older twins, Cecelia, and Sefina. the younger twins were gradually introduced to merfolk culture starting with typical merfolk attire and introducing them to the wonders of the sea.
Dylan revealed his true form as well as the existence of merfolk to the twins. Consequently, the twins realized that vampires are real. Three types of Vampires exist: former merfolk corrupted by their inner darkness, some Earth Elementals of the Land, and natural vampires.
Before Sarah's Demise in the Selvadorada Temple, She tried to capture Lir, Dylan, and Zeph's souls. Lir was abducted with the intent to hand him over to Damion, Dylan was cursed with vampiric corruption, and she planned to get to Zeph with the Temple Traps. Dylan and Zeph have special tomes tethered to them that can give the wielder power over their souls. Calum keeps them protected in a shrine to the four elements. The tomes can also ressurect the Twins should anything happen to them.
Previously: The Shadow of Thieves
To convince Lir to follow her quitely, Sarah threatened his dads.
After finding his bedroom empty, Kylen and Aaron went to the World of San Myshuno.
Kylen and Aaron both knew that Lir was a one of eight merman princes descended from seven royal merfolk bloodlines. But, he was their son first and foremost. His disappearance worried them.
Kylen was a part of an Ancient Merfolk Bloodline and used his ability to commune with Island Spirits to find his son. While Aaron fought the evil siren, Kylen found his son in a locked room. Lir was put under a spell of deep sleep thanks to Sarah's Night's Requiem. Aaron retrieved the key and Kylen woke his son up.
Previously: The Seaweed is Always Greener
After he was kidnapped, Lir's Dads became incridebly strict about curfew. To keep Lir safe, they set the Curfew to an extremely early time. They were being unreasonable, but Lir didn't help the situation. He argued with his dads and resolved to swim away from home.
Eventually, a Dolphin friend of the little merman knocked some sense into him, and he went home to make things right.
Previously: The Legacy of the Sea and Sky
His dads were just worried for his safety and ended up forgiving Lir.
Previously: A Gift from a Fan
Dylan's musical talent started gaining him a great deal of fame. Sarah knew she was drawing to much attention herself, so she went to someone who could eliver her curse for her.
Juniper passed the gift on to his older brother, and Dylan ate the mermadic kelp without a second thought.
The Gift ened up Cursing Dylan with Vampiric Corruption.
Previously: Restoring the Spirit of the Sea
In the end, Lir saved Dylan by giving him a cure to his curse before Sarah could con him into a less than friendly exchange.
As the Spirit of the Sea, Dylan's corruption would have dire consequences to all the worlds and the waters that connect them.
Previously: A Growing Family
Sarah saw her failure and made one last attempt at ruining Dylan's life. He went to Cecelia's home in Sulani and placed a curse on her that made her a mortal human. If she couldn't have Dylan's Soul, she would make him watch the love of his life die of old age.
Previously: The Poor Unfortunate Soul
Dylan and Zeph used their power to take their Elemental Forms to trick Sarah into going deeper into the Temple. In their spectral form, Cecelia thought they died triggering a trap. Dylan could cry on demand and feint saddness at will. She had no idea they weren't really dead.
With Sarah deep in the Heart of the Temple and Poison coursing through her veins, the twins teleported out of the Temple and to safety.
That's when the Shadows caught up with her. A former merman that became corrupted by his own inner darkness emerged from a dark mist. He now fed on other's misery because Plasma could barely satisfy his thirst.
Damion changed into his Dark Form and made it clear that it was the end of the line for Sarah. Her heart couldn't take the rage of defeat and poison in her veins.
Previously: Sumemr Vaction in Sulani
Zeph made a proposal to Sefina, a chance for immortality and a life in the sea with him.
Ultimately, Sefina wanted to make this choice for herself and not because of anyone else. She chose to give up her life as a human and become a Half-Mermaid.
Note:
The big difference between half-merfolk and merfolk is their appearance. Merfolk that have always been merfolk or, in the case of Barnaby and Wade, have their bloodline awaken, will have different color hair and pointed ears in their mermaid or merman form. Mermaid's have scales that extend up their torso. All merfolk have sea green eyes. Half-Merfolk retain their original torso be it human or alien. Their eye color remains the same and their ears aren't pointy if they were orginally human.
Ember arrived just in time to give Cecelia a Potion of Curse Cleansing that would remove her curse. Ember was a foodie and natural cook. Her favorite magical art was potion brewing. When she heard of Cecelia's situation, she came as quickly as she could to help resolve the problem.
@Metior_Ice Thank you. That will certainly help me get caught up. Here's a link to my story, and if you don't bookmark it there is always a link in my signature too.

@Metior_Ice I don't see any reason for your apology. I enjoy your posts and if you have long ones, fine, if you have several, fine. It just means I don't have to wait so long to see what's coming up next.
@Metior_Ice I just noticed the post @GalacticGal is referring to, and I agree with her completely, there is no need to apologize. I enjoy the story, so there's just more to enjoy.
I have been so entranced by this new pack, I have nothing but werewolves on the brain.😆
I will have another update, hopefully later on today. I started to write something up yesterday, but my computer decided it had to crash before I had even saved what I had written. I decided, instead of trying to recapture what I lost, I would simply play my game. I'm really beginning to hate my computer, these days. I have no idea when my hubby will be able to fulfill the notion he brought up on his own, that I need a new device. I pray it's sooner rather than later. But, time will tell. In the meantime, I just have to put-up with it. And try very, VERY hard not to shout Forbidden Words at it. LOL
Astrid was promoted to Business Tycoon and was doing very well. Bonus after bonus came her way. While she was storing up quite a Nest Egg, Joey, who these days preferred to be called Dr. Joe, also got a bonus when he was promoted to Chief Resident. Highly esteemed as he was, it came as no surprise when he received a phone call from the CEO of HoB Community Hospital. We’ve heard nothing but good things about you, Doctor Cantrell.”
For the first time since he enrolled in Med School, Joey came through the front door with a jaunt to his step. “Hey, Joe,” Erik greeted. “You look as if a weight has been lifted.”
Joey grinned. “You betcha. I just got hired on as a General Practitioner at Community, right here in HoB! I can’t believe it. Now, Astrid and I can see about purchasing the Jessica Fletcher House, on 4 Olde Mill Road. I start tomorrow.”
The Jessica Fletcher House. Erik tucked this bit of information into his psyche.
When Joey returned from his first day on the job, he was only too excited to tell everyone about his very first patient. “She was just a little girl. Came in all on her own, how about that? So, naturally I set about giving her a completely physical so I could better diagnose just what was ailing her.”
“She was very congested, so I checked her ears,”
‘Then I checked her eyes,”
“Gave her a Body Scan, which was helpful, but only to a point.”
“I took her temperature, too.”
“I finally decided it was best to also take a culture to analyze. She was very good about the whole thing. Even as I swabbed her mouth.”
Later on, I took the sample into the Lab and put it through the computer.”
“For the first time, I felt like a Physician. This is who I am. Astrid, we’re getting married on Saturday.”
Since the couple had already secured their Sims of Honor, which were Erik and Kayleigh, and they had planned out the rest of things, Erik went to work renting the wedding arch, the chairs and the all-important, matching runner. He got all things set up in the backyard hugging the patio on the left of his house.
When he had a moment, returning from a concert, he even gave another interview. Yes, his latest album, Flashing Before My Eyes was a hit, too. Seems he wasn’t the only one who felt good about it. The nomination for Best Song was ahead of him. He was excited for Joey and Astrid, a tad melancholy that this meant they would be moving out, soon, but they had no idea of just what Erik and Kayleigh planned for them.
“Yeah, I’m really excited about Sunday. I’m excited about Saturday, too. My next younger brother is finally getting married. They’ve been engaged since our last Term at Uni. It’s about time, they tied the knot.”
Erik contacted the best Realtor he knew and got things expedited on the Jessica Fletcher House. He knew the couple would want to move out right after the wedding. Paying cash would close escrow on it almost overnight. But, instead, he negotiated rental, until the couple could finalize the sale.
Everyone seemed to rise early come Saturday morning. Which was a good thing. The wedding was set for eleven AM. Since it was, again, in summer, Erik had the reception set up down in the basement, alongside the swimming pool. The ordered cake arrived and was placed on the table reserved for it. All was ready.
Finally, the guests began to arrive. Taking a cue from how efficiently Joey, as Best Man, had expedited things, Erik sought to do the same for him. He asked the Guests to Please take your seats. It worked to get them from the front door to the backyard, at least. He said it a few times until he was certain everyone had arrived.
Surprisingly, his girls took their seats. Erik almost fell over. Yumika was certainly helping the parents to get across certain desired behaviors, specifically obedience. She was a wonder.
Slowly, they all filed over to the wedding arch.
Unfortunately, neither their Officiant, or their Ring Bearer arrived. “Let’s just start,” Joey said.
Erik fought the urge to holler, “It Is Done!”
As the wedding party walked back down the aisle, Astrid and her father were having quite the conversation. “Dad, what happened to your tux?”
“You don’t want to know, Kitten. I went to all three fittings and what I came home with yesterday was a set of pants that were so short they were nearly up to my knees! It’s very lucky your mother had this tuxedo of mine dry-cleaned.”
“So, you couldn’t have at least worn the jacket and shirt?”
“Wouldn’t have looked right. Besides, you know how I like to stand out.”
From the site of the wedding ceremony, Erik directed the guests to take the outside stairs on down to the basement.
Ever mindful of his fans, Erik took a brief video with his phone to send to his Simstagram account.
Food was served.
Erik called for the First Dance. The couple was stunning. And so happy.
Next it was time for the cake to be cut. Again, there was a mishap with the knife. Erik was beginning to wonder, if Joey should have been the one with the knife. He was studying to be a surgeon, after all and was, despite his proclivity for clumsiness, rather adept with a blade.
As the others had done, Astrid decided, she too, would try to spin the knife. Joey watched with horror.
“Ow, that didn’t go as planned. I hope it’s not an Omen.”
“We don’t believe in Omens, remember?”
The wedding had taken all day and evening was upon them. Since Dr. Joe was on call, he decided to call for an end to the reception, mindful that some sleep would be better than none at all. Erik took his cue and asked the guests to throw rice. Which they did with abandon. He surely hoped the grain wouldn’t play havoc with his Filter. Pool motors can be expensive. He wasn’t anxious to have his destroyed. Already they had experienced three fires down here. Luckily, Joey put them out quickly before any significant damage could occur.
Erik presented the couple with a key. “We didn’t want to take away the joy of the process by any means. All we did was make a down payment, in your name. It’s yours once escrow clears and you’ll have about two months before you have to start making payments. Oh, and we were able to lock-in the mortgage rate at two percent. For now, it's a rental and you're paid up through escrow. So, what are you waiting for? Go take a look at your new old house!”
Joey and Astrid rushed right over. They didn’t even bother to change, first.
“Oh, Joey, look. I wonder if this old thing even works?”
The couple checked out the main floor, adjacent to the living room was the dining room. Adjacent to that was the kitchen.
The couple went upstairs to check it out.
“I just know we’re going to love it here,” Astrid said.
“Yes, and the rooms upstairs are so massive, we could remodel as we need room.”
Astrid gazed lovingly at her new Spouse. “Are you suggesting we can start a family, soon?”
“Why not? I’m fully employed, working my dream job. And I know you’ve got a Nest Egg stashed away.” He winked. “I love you so much.”
Today I was congratulating myself on having almost completed my Jason Voorhees camp when I realised that in order to do what I actually wanted to do, I would have to lose all my terraforming and large chunks of natural gardening.
That deadly deadly camp was specifically designed for werewolves - and has been waiting for them for at least three years.
As a direct result I will now have to redo chunks of it. And by 're-do' I mean 'make it even better'.
Prepping a list of mods to add after Infants are placed into the game. Because real life isn't 'nice'.
My next update will be later tonight or tomorrow. Fair warning, there's a lot of intense lurve in this post.
Summer Romance in Sulani
Dylan and Zeph have been alive for a long time. For many tides and many moons, they swam the seas and even lived among humans. Dylan walked into the Cave of Wayfinder's Grotto and remembered some of his past experiences.
From early on in their life, they grew as mermen and lived close to the sea. Kemps, the Sapphire King was and is responsible for all merfolk. Before Dylan and Zeph could leave Sulani and live among humans, they went to him for his blessing and human attire to blend in at University.
As a front and source of income, Kemps ran a retail store that gave merfolk access to whatever they needed when they traveled to or chose to live in Human Worlds. All mermen and mermaids have eternal youth and will never die from old age or most things, it was trait that gave merfolk their ehtereal beauty and handsome qualities. Immortality would raise a few eyebrows if merfolk spent too much time too close to humans. Someone would surely notice the lack of aging.
In recent years, the different worlds and the typical attire worn in those worlds have become common knowledge, but when Dylan and Zeph went to University, that wasn't the case. The way merfolk dress and their tendency to not age became less noticable and raised fewe eyebrows. Most merfolk, however, still didn't mix with humans as often.
With Kemp's blessing and some new outifts, the twins left for University and became more acquainted with humans.
Sometimes, Zeph would manipualte space and time with his Weather Machine. For Dylan, it was difficult to understand the finer details, but changing the seasons resulted in a manipulation of time because the seasons marked the progression of time. There was also the possibility of space time annomalies that Zeph often needed to use his Spiritual Powers to correct. Zeph was a Genius that could easily bring out the full potential of any technology. Dylan was grateful that he knew what he was doing.
With Zephyr manipulation of Space Time, Dylan and Zeph sometimes explored worlds in the future. The future wasn't set in stone, so the cosnequences were minimal. But, they did visit Mount Komorebi while in the middle of their college semesters.
And they sang in the hot springs together.
Dylan and his brother were always together and they supported each other through University at Foxbury. At this point, it would feel unnatural to both Dylan and Zeph if they were apart for too long.
Sefina often talks about her first meeting with Zeph in Sulani, but she did meet them sooner than that. She just didn't know it because Dylana nd Zeph were disguised as humans and dressed differently than normal. She would never admit to her choice of Haircut and outfit at Foxbury.
It was thanks to Zeph that Dylan met Cecelia. Since Dylan is Bisexual, he wasn't sure about who he wanted to date. He would have been fine with guys or gals, so it was difficult to choose. However, he immedietly fell for Cecelia and shared a Mermaid's Kiss with her. The ability was named after a mermaid that used that ability to save the life of a drowning human. Ever since, the kiss was traditionally reserved for the partner a mermaid or merman would devote themselves too for eternity.
From there. the Love between the Twins and their Wives grew quickly.
For Dylan, it was almost a devastating blow when he learned that Cecelia was turned mortal by Sarah. Inside, he cursed himself for leaving her vulnerable to attack, but in the end, her curse was lifted. Dylan wanted to make up for lost time and strengthen the Romance they had now that they were together again. Nothing was more important to Dylan and Zeph than the time they could spend witht their families. Their days of blending in with humans was behind them. Their families were their future.
While Sefina and Dylan's sons struggled to living so close to the sea all the time, it came more naturally to the older twins and Cecelia. Dylan, Zeph, and Cecelia returned to their mermadic attire, but it was something for Sefina to get used. Even though she was surrounded by water and her sandals were soaked by the Island Waterfall, she still wore human clothing.
Sefina wasn't used to merfolk gestures of Romance and gave Zeph a rose instead of a Mermaid's Kiss, Charmer's Lullaby, or a Serenade. She didn't know that merfolk held great value in their voices and used them as a primary gesture of romance. Many merfolk powers came from the songs they sang, and Sefina was still learning. Regardless, Zeph appreciated the gesture.
Zeph pulled Sefina toward the sea and showed her one of the most important gestures between merfolk partners. The life giving kiss reserved for those who a mermaid or merman loved most. It didn't take words or a song. It was a kiss that gave the breath of the sea to the reciever.
Zeph held the back of Sefina's head and his hand rested on her waist. As he pulled his hands away, Sefina's hand rested at Zeph's waist where skin turned into scales.
Zeph: "And that's the Mermaid's Kiss. I love you so much, and I look forward to the family we build together."
Back in the Grotto, Sefina gave Zeph the big news.
Sefina: "Guess what, we're pregnant!"
Zeph: "I'm so excited! I can't wait!"
While Barnaby and Wade swam to school under the sea, Dylan took this opportunity to ask Cecelia out on a date.
There was a Cafe in Newcrest that would be perfect for the merfolk couple. At the edge of the Magic Realm, Dylan and Cecelia could be themselves.
Dylan flirted with Cecelia. "I'm dying to give you that special kiss."
Cecelia flirted back. "You'll just have to wait until we return to Sulani."
Dylan: "In all the worlds, in all the Universe, I never thought I would find someone I love this much!"
"I hope nothing tears us apart again."
Cecelia: "I feel the same way."
The couple sang their Charmer's Lullaby to each other. The song set the mood for more romance. The exchance became a Charmer's Duet.
Cecelia replied to Dylan's verse with her own.
As the date came close to an end, the couple changed to their true form and cloud gazed. While they weren't on their human feet, there wasn't much point to using energy to maintain a human form.
When the couple returned to the Sulani and visited the Sand Bar to keep the Date going. Cecelia caught Dylan by surprise with a mermaid's kiss. The passionate kiss momentarily made Dylan lose focus and he turned back into a merman. Cecelia caught him as he fell to the ground and continiued the kiss.
When Dylan regained his human form, the couple went upstairs and sat together.
Cecelia: "What's your favorite world? You can't say Sulani because we both know you love the ocean."
Dylan: "That's a tough question, but if I had to choose one, other than Sulani, I would say that I enjoy the Jungles of Selvadorada. There's always something new to do everytime I visit, and the paths are always changing through the jungle."
Cecelia: "I wasn't expecting that, but it's a fair answer."
As the summer heat intesified, the couple retreated a small lagoon. Cecelia gave Dylan another Kiss. As she pulled Dylan closer, Dylan arched his back, overwhelmed by the passionate mermaid's kiss. Cecelia held him firm to her with her hand around the back of his head.
Dylan finally managed to pull away and breathed. "I never want to fear losing you to a curse again."
Dylan moved in for another kiss and Cecelia pulled the merman close.
Dylan: "As much fun as this has been, we have a couple merboys waiting for us at home. We'll have eternity to do this again. I'm yours, forever and always."
So, I had to go back to page 967 for this response, and I’m glad I did. This thread moved so fast that I missed a few things lol.
@GalacticGal in the words of Spock, “Perhaps, a special license should be required before one utilizes such an instrument.”
Also, I’m glad JAC was alright. I don’t know how I could have missed that.
@sarabeth2984 I look forward to more updates of your merfolk family!
Juniper and Jade weren’t aged up because the game did a terrible job maintaining their character values and grades. I’m probably going to have to manipulate space time to correct this. Lol. I was about to start my rotation with Jack, but I don’t think I’ll be doing that just yet. I’m going to turn the clock back to the start of summer and play through Juniper and Jade’s teenage life stage and finally age the twins up.
Also, I have not seen Oscar in his merman form, and I admit that I’m super curious. I know I read in one of your posts that he’s a Merrow, and that makes me curious because that’s a very unique term for a type of merfolk!
I love that you chose Brindleton Bay for your merfolk household. I’d actually suggest that for anyone that doesn’t want merfolk constantly changing into their swimwear to go for a swim…. In university, Dylan and Zeph would bike to the river to swim. I can’t keep my merfolk out of the water, so I ended up just rolling with the outfits they constantly changed into.
For all sims, but merfolk in particular, a body of water or a pool pretty much guarantees that they spend all their time in swimwear. Lol. I do see some interesting townies in Sulani because of it.
I didn’t get a screenshot, but I saw a mermaid I created in townie swimwear and heels…
Page 968 posts:
@crimsonnclover324 I look forward to more updates. I’m sorry I didn’t reply sooner, but I didn’t have a reply yet.
Zeph got poisoned once. I tried to wait and see what happened, but when it became clear that he needed an antidote, I bought him one. My Zalrians have no shortage of money. But I know the situation was different for your sims.
Page 971 posts:
@Brd709 Still enjoying your updates. I look forward to new episodes!
@CK213 Awesome update, and I look forward to seeing more of Cassandra’s “real” Secret Society!
Update: It's been a while since I've been able to play my Holden family, so without further ado..
In my game it was Mother's Day! I don't usually have my sims families do anything too extravagant for this holiday. However, I did throw Darla and Dallas a mini spa night! I have to use my imagination a little and pretend they are painting one another's nails, but otherwise the new facial masks, cucumber bowls and a good chick flick on the TV really makes this holiday such a cute one to celebrate. Does anyone else do this in their games?
Just a couple of cute screenshots in the spoiler tag below!
I feel like it might be silly, but I already started thinking about potential pairs for my 3 new additions to the Zalrian Family.
For Barnaby, he’s the heir to the Zalrian Legacy and I have not had any indication that he might be gay or bi. So, I think his potential relationship with Lyla will be a go.
Wade is a mystery. I can’t quite tell how he will turn out. But if he’s anything like his father, that could mean he’s bi. Dylan didn’t seem particularly interested in anyone until he started queuing up interactions with both men and women.
Sora is a mystery too, but I don’t expect much from him yet.
I’m thinking their romance won’t happen until I get back to their household.
Zalen, the Kailani Heir, is in a relationship with Makoa’s second daughter, not Nani, but I forget her name. It could be Lyla too.
The Keahloha Trips are all straight.
Don’t know about Alex or Alen Kailani. I wasn’t and still not the most interested in romance interactions, but darn it, it helps to know these things.
Whoa, I may faint. This actually is what happened in my game TODAY.
Circle Of Life, an Erik Cantrell REDUX
Things change. Rarely can anything ever stay the same. The lesson was never more apparent to Erik than when Yumiko was suddenly, inexplicably, replaced by Aylin Lunsford. The children, while they asked for Yumika, did get along fine with Aylin, to their parents’ intense relief.
Come Sunday morning, Erik and Kayleigh went off to Services. The rain was pouring down in sheets, with intermittent shards of lightning striking things at random. Erik found himself uncomfortably wet by the time he reached the Nave of the church.
When they returned home again, the rain had ceased for a moment allowing Kayleigh to take care of their chickens. She also took a moment to vacuum the basement from last night’s reception. Erik played with the children. He did do one concert and one photoshoot, which happily didn’t take long.
At three-thirty PM, he began his ritual of getting himself ready for the Starlight Accolades. Each time his stomach liked to tie itself into knots, somehow worried that if he didn’t win, he’s lose face in front of his fans. Absurd. His latest album, number seventeen, Flashing Before My Eyes, was flying off the shelves. Why do I worry so much?
Erik went upstairs to spend some much needed time with his little girls. He found Harmony in her bedroom. Swooping her up, they played Bear.
Her joyous giggles filled the air, warming his heart all the more.
“Zooom, hey, where did you go?”
"I go fast, Daddy!”
"Yes, you do, Sweetheart. Yes, you do."
By the time Kayleigh got the children settled down for the night, she came into their room to get herself ready. Half dressed as he was, she smiled at him. “Simoleon for your thoughts?”
“It’s nothing. I was just wondering why I settled on a green suit made of Brocade?”
“Me either, I had one heck of a time matching that shade. Or at least finding something complimentary to it.”
“You look gorgeous. I am one lucky Sim.”
Once dressed, Kayleigh heard one of the Toddlers calling for her. She found Melodie out in the kitchen. “It’s all right, Sweetheart, Mommy and Daddy will be back just as soon as the Award Show is over. Come here, Mommy needs a hug.”
The two beamed over to Del Sol Valley and the PBP Studios.
Getting there a tad early, the two sat together in the front row.”
“Good Evening, Ladies and Gentlemen. Forgive me, but I seem to have missed the Memo. Were we supposed to wear green tonight? Any particular reason?” The audience chuckled, realizing for the first time at least four of them were wearing green.
“Welcome to the Starlight Accolades Show!” he said. Several trophies were distributed. Holly Alto won; Megumi Ito won. Erik was all but nodding off when the host got around to the Music Category. “For bringing such aural beauty to ears around the world, tonight’s Best Song goes to — Erik Cantrell, for his Tumbling Waterfalls. Come on, give it up for him. This makes his fifteenth Best Song in a row! Congratulations, Erik!”
“I Would like to thank the Starlight Academy for this outstanding honor. My beautiful wife, Kayleigh for her patience, Taygeta Studios, Orion Entertainment, Limited, for their endless support. My children for not completely destroying our house.”
“And to my wonderful Fans without whom I couldn’t do this. Thank you. Thank you, All and Goodnight!”
Erik and Kayleigh returned home. He went to his Music Room and placed the trophy on the shelf next to the others. Taking a moment to reflect on his life, his music, and just how far he had come from that teenager who could only dream of what lay ahead.
Shortly after this, he decided to go check on his four wee ones. As he climbed the stairs he began to smell something like paint. Who is doing what? He stepped into the bedroom the three girls shared to catch Harmony in the midst of her wrongdoing.
“Harmony, what smells like paint in here?”
“Oh, Baby Girl, what have you done. Where did you get paint, anyway? I am so disappointed in you. What a mess you’ve created.”
“I make a painting like gramma!”
“Hm. Guess I need to find a baby-size easel.”
Moments later, he heard the distinct sound of water splashing. Spinning on his heels, Erik walked across the wide hallway over to the bathroom on the front end of the house. There leaning over the toilet, practically leaning into the toilet, was Melodie. “Melodie,” he said. The child lifted her head and stood very still for a moment, as if frozen in place.
“That is really gross, Little Girl. A toilet is just a bigger Sim Potty Chair, and you know what we put into
Potty chairs. Gross. Just plain gross. We don’t play in the toilet water. Ever.”
“Come here, we need to have a chat.”
“Why?”
“Because Daddy said so, that’s why.”
“So. Speak.”
“What did you just say to me?”
“What you want? I busy.”
“I want you to tell Daddy you’re sorry for playing in the toilet and that you won’t do it again.”
“Nope.”
“AHHHH! You’re one stubborn little girl. Off to bed with you, now!”
“Guess the Terrible Twos has struck early with you three.” With that he swooped up the errant child and put her to bed. Night-night,” he said as he walked out of the room.
The next day, Monday, was Rebate Day. Erik fancied another instrument. After consulting his wife, he purchased a new piano. Erik was so inspired by the beauty of it, he sat down and promptly wrote a new song.
With the help of a special filter, this shot was taken. Erik thought he may use it for an album cover, some day.
After completing the song, he went to his mailbox and quickly licensed it. It barely left his home when he got word back he earned yet another nomination. Pleased, and inspired, he found his wife and made a proposal to her.
“I was thinking our Toddlers will become Child Sims in the near future. I would like another baby, how about you?”
“I love it when writing songs makes you so intense. Yes, let’s go make a baby.”
It just dawned on me. There’s only one mermaid in the next generation. The rest of the next generation of merfolk are mermen. I didn’t influence gender during birth too.
Hello there! I haven't done much besides lurk lately, but I've been enjoying your posts. Some comments:
@GalacticGal After seeing all your posts in other places about trying out the wedding pack, it was great to see your multiple wedding posts and how they turned out! I also love the drama with little Jamison.
@Metior_Ice I really enjoyed your post with Sarah's ghost. I also enjoy seeing how your mermaid family grows, and how your plans evolve with what happens.
@mightysprite I have been enjoying your version of the San Myshuno townies. We don't see them as often as some of the others. I think the Fengs are my favorites.
@jpajari The mother/daughter spa day is such a cute idea!
@sarabeth2984 Good to see your families are still going! You've posted a few times while I've been lurking and it's always good to see your sims again.
@ashcrash19 I love the werewolf with a wolfy dog idea. I hear werewolves and their dogs can howl together, have you tried that? Cute toddlers!
@luciusstorm Welcome to the thread! Your story was intriguing from the start, can't wait to see more!
@haneul Nice to see your sims again! Your screenshots are always beautiful.

I had to make Sora eat 3 mermadic kelps so the game would give him his tail. His plumbob didn’t have the indicator that he was a merman, but he had all the abilities of one.
Luella, Luca (twins), and Aurora playing together. Aurora is an alien toddler that was unexpected; Ezra (werewolf) is a scientist and after exploring Sixam she came into Ezra and Stella's lives.

But, a merman doesn't choose his familiar, and he makes the best of it.
Maybe someday I will rebuild it from scratch, but this will do for now.
I have been mainly playing Britechester students. These are my first Foxbury students and I felt compelled to add to the student commons.
Anyways, I’m sorry about the frequent posts.
"I swear, your years here will be happy ones."

Family Dynamics, an Erik Cantrell REDUX
All for now. Thanks for reading!

As a direct result I will now have to redo chunks of it. And by 're-do' I mean 'make it even better'.
Summer Romance in Sulani
Dylan and Zeph have been alive for a long time. For many tides and many moons, they swam the seas and even lived among humans. Dylan walked into the Cave of Wayfinder's Grotto and remembered some of his past experiences.
Cecelia: "I'm the same for you."

The two beamed over to Del Sol Valley and the PBP Studios.
“I love it when writing songs makes you so intense. Yes, let’s go make a baby.”
Shortly thereafter, Kayleigh took a test.
All for now! Thanks for reading!
