I just learned that if I put two angelfish in an aquarium, in time they will make a third angelfish. Sir Phoenix III and Oreo Boros had a baby. I'm sure what to name it yet.

That works with any fish.
Also, if you put a fish used for bait in the same tank, it will get eaten.

Its a cool feature. I think my household is going to eat more fish now, not the angelfish though.
When becoming an Undercover Specialist in Law Enforcement career, sim will wear various outfits from other careers and change everyday to show that they are indeed undercover.
My sim has a dog and a cat. My sims' cats had never gotten the cat toys out of the crate to play with them, so for the current game, I modified the settings with NRaas Retuner so they would. But now the cat toys regularly disappear completely, and I have to keep getting new ones for the cat in buy debug. I finally realized that when the dog chews on a cat toy, sometimes she will actually eat it. Dogs are such pigs! LOL!
Another new thing I've learned with this household - once the cat plays with the cat toys enough, he will get hunting skill. And when he catches a small animal or bird, eventually he will drop it somewhere in the house. My sim's dog ate the dead turtle the cat left on the kitchen floor. The cat has the option to eat them from the floor too, so I'm assuming he will do so sometimes too, if the dog doesn't beat him to it.
The same goes for empty chip bags the cat sometimes brings in. He will eventually leave them on the floor, and the dog has the option to eat them. I didn't check to see if the cat could. I had my sim pick it up and throw it away before either pet decided to eat it.
Don’t give the cat a bath unless you want to get clawed to pieces.
They should have made this a new way to die.
Another thing I've observed recently - turning off vampires in the settings doesn't get rid of premade vampire sims that are already there. So if you're playing in Bridgeport, you'll meet the Hemlock family, etc.

This goes for real life too unless your cat is just one of those who becomes catatonic when you place it in water and just cries.
Sometimes sims have to give the cat a flea bath. Eventually, the cat will settle down and let their human bathe them. For my current sim, the cat finally let her after four failures. It's better to just get the pet hygienator with one of the pet's LTH points. Then they'll take all care of their own fleas.
Sims with the Neurotic trait will autonomously "check sink" even at community lots. One of my sims was out collecting seeds when I left him unattended for a moment and he walked into the salon and did just that.
Today I learned that if you have a cow plant outside it can get struck by lightning and killed. Poor thing became beef jerky. I know it ate a sim and all but it was a beloved family member.
With the inventor skill you can blow up a sims bed with them in it
This might sound morbid but than again blowing up a bed with a sim in it is also pretty morbid, but do the sims die? Or are they miraculously fine but singed?

Yep, they just get singed, although I suppose anything else would be a bit extreme for a sims game
Just got back to plays TS3 after a 6 month hiatus. Before said hiatus, however, I remember sending my child sims to the library after school as homework got done faster in the enviroment.
I also remember some of my child sims becoming singed after doing their homework near instantaneously. I think it had something to do with the 'genius' or 'bookwork' traits that they had. Either way, it was hilarious to send those poor, soot-covered souls home in nothing but their skivvies. :D

TS4 Sims in TS3
And the dog will just eat everything, shell and all? I wonder how tasty turtle shell is for the dog to eat it.

@Puddinroy, the old man that lives down by the wasteland is named after Obi Wan from Star Wars.

🤣. That’s a great idea. Hope they do it for Sims 5. red ghost with claw marks all over dripping blood?
