@AlwaysAsking I'm surprised how easy it was makes me wonder if Don is still unsure about Thorne with the baby what would happen if he saw this Dash. If Dash really would do the same or if he would stop himself and go running to Diego how would he feel then, after all Diego only left Knox cause he was back to his old ways before he even left his bed what if his phone hadn't rung how far would he have gone. I have so many curiosities but it is nice they could make up. It amuses me seeing them by the pool Diego is my cup of tea so he looks good in everything to me.

Neat blends! I use Waterlilies by Gloamsims - it's based on Luumia's Vanilla with a few other details. Also got Pyxis' Aloha! eyes, and there's a few other random masks and stuff I use depending on the Sim (although, honestly, not often).
@AngeliqueAdelaide vampire break-ins appear to be pretty random! I've literally only seen it once - on a new save with a teenage Johnny Zest In my main save, I've never seen it! Lots of skulking, but no actual break-ins. It's odd!

Hey everybody!! I am so sorry I haven’t been able to post or reply to comments for awhile now! I have been incredibly sick the past 5 days with a high fever thats now become a nasty case of bronchitis. Not a fun week. Anyway I am catching up on everyone’s stories!! @ryttu3k -I was thinking the same thing about mermaids and the weather. It’d be really handy to have a mermaid as a friend lol! Especially if you need to them to bring sunny weather to a rainy day/party lol:) Yeah. I was really bummed about Darling and Alondra. I was hoping that she and Darling would really connect, but Darling seems to prefer Hugo. They hung out together a lot as teens, I had Darling mentor Hugo on his exercise and weight loss. I can control Griffin the ghost thankfully! He starts possessing stuff to break if I don’t keep him under control, I make him possess to repair whatever he breaks lol. Yeah Lisette his daughter is still actually stuck in the bear phase which is as annoying as all get out. I think she is actually glitching, because she’s been stuck in this phase for a really long time.

This happened awhile ago because I’ve been too sick to play much. Here goes
I was still playing with the Morecombe siblings in their new condo. Joanna Morecombe was settling with her new baby and fiance Vincent. Her older brother Barnaby moved in the adjacent condo with his daughter Natalie. They had joint custody of their deceased brother, Griffin’s, daughters Lisette and Marla. Griffin of course has stuck around as a ghost. He’s having a blast exploring his ghostly powers.
Joanna gets abducted by aliens for the first time
Aliens. AWESOME!! Sure Jo, your fiance is an alien, what else is new?
Joanna has a problem. Her ghostly brother has been quite the pest lately.
Griffin scares his brother Barnaby
He thinks it's hilarious
Almost brother-in-law Vincent
Vincent does a little payback

He enjoys possessing every available appliance in the house
His absolutely favorite thing to do though, was haunt his former wife’s new house. Agnes was now living with her son and new husband in Windenberg. Griffin had caught them cheating behind his back, he threw a fit and accidentally set himself on fire, causing his death.

He enjoyed haunting anybody that came to the house

He was still unable to come to terms with his death and new life as a force ghost. He mourned for his past life all the time.
Often leaving him so bereft, he was able to water the plasma fruit trees with his tears lol!
He did help out with the kids of course.
Even a stinky toddler diaper could reach across the astral plane
Enough was enough! Vince asks Joanna if she could do something about it? Does she know any spells?
She knows they exist, but she had a problem. She wasn’t high ranking enough to learn de-deathify. She had to be careful because during the course of her studies, practicing, and experimenting, she had picked up a couple of curses. Fountain of Magic, which caused her magic charge to build up rapidly. She had her first magical overcharge explosion and it hurt like hell, scared her (and me) half to death too!
She had discovered earlier that morning, that she had picked up the Night Spectre. Sounds ominous. She agrees. She makes a big breakfast for everyone and calls in the reinforcements. They agree, for a price, they had a lot of honey-do chores and if she did them, he’d help her.
Jo and Griffin head over to her old magical master’s house, Morgyn Ember! She gives him an idea of her plan
Morgyn had settled in with Susan Sto Helit and her grandfather, Death (who was retired). Griffin introduces himself, again
Take that! And scares the daylights out of him
Morgyn had to go to work so, Death gives Jo the list of to-do-chores
She sets about her job. Griffin helps too.
She makes a nice meal for when the Embers get home

I caught him breaking stuff again. Jo was not happy. “Griffin, really!?!”

The only upside is they haven't completely ruined our younglings I get so many of these at random at work when I get well behaved little ones even when they dont get a toy or rowdy teenagers that halt their conversation with proper manners that even wish me a good day back it just brightens my day.
I used to be that kid myself! My dad would get in arguments with cashiers in supermarkets almost every time he found expired or rotten products. Although I understood his point, I still felt very uneasy because it's not like it's the cashiers fault.

Yeah, I mostly use that website for finding poses. Poses with height difference irritate me though because sometimes I want Steve to use the taller poses and sometimes Tony. It's never perfect lol

Every single day he became a little more confident, a little less dependant. He stopped constantly looking for Steve's approval and began developing his own opinion. He made so much progress...
Within minutes, this woman broke Tony down almost to the exact state Steve found him months ago. Within minutes.
"It's not my problem he's so fragile," scoffed the woman. "Shouldn't be working with people if he can't handle a little bit of criticism!"
"Criticism? Criticism!?"

"Do you even understand what you've done to him!?"
"Steve!" Mele raised her voice. "Leave her."

"I forgot!" he cried, shaking. "It was so bright and someone was yelling and I couldn't understand where I was... I was so scared that I forgot all about us... How could I forget!?"
"Shh, it's okay. It's okay honey. I'm here."
"But I forgot and I was so scared... I couldn't remember where I was!" Tony sobbed.
"I know honey. Everything's okay now. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you..."
Tony tried to get up but he couldn't take control over his body yet, still quivering and shaking. Then Steve lowered himself to Tony's level. He sat on the floor, gently took Tony in his arms, and gave him a few very light and tender kisses, feeling his heart race like crazy.
Little by little, kiss after kiss, it started slowing down.
"You stupid woman," angrily spat Mele. "Out! Out of my cafe! Now! I don't want you coming near this place ever again!"
"Sheesh, all of that fuss because of some worthless bartender..."
"How dare you," snapped an old lady. "How dare you come here and hurt our Tony!"
"Exactly! How dare you hurt our Tony! He wouldn't touch a fly! And we wouldn't ever want anyone else working here!"
"You can't refuse me service! I'm a customer! I'm going to call the police!"
"Uh... that'd be me. And unless you want me to do more then give you a ticket and a warning, I suggest you choose your words more carefully."
"This is insane," the woman snorted. "All of you grouping up for some petty, sick, useless guy who clearly has issues and shouldn't even be allowed near normal people!"
"Geez, don't speak toxic in front of the baby..." muttered Dwayne.
"You know nothing of Tony or what he'd been through," stated Mele. "Granted, we don't know all of the details either. But we know that he's a man with a big heart and that's enough for us to take him into our community with open arms. You, on the other hand, know nothing of kindness or sympathy. People like you shouldn't be allowed near others - not Tony!"
"Well I don't know what sort of a questionable community you think you've got here but I'll make sure to..."
"Silence!"
The woman froze with her mouth open wide. Everyone looked over. It was Keala Hoapili.
"And here comes the thunder," smiled Mele.
"Oh? And who do you happen to be?"
"I happen to be the chief of Sulani," Keala spoke in a quiet but strict tone. Her voice was as cold as ice. "And I do not appreciate you barging into my home and hurting my people."
"Oh? And what are you going to do about that?" the woman mocked.
"First I'll have you deported to wherever you came from, then I'll make sure you pay for worsening the state of a person with unstable mental health and trust me, if we have to go to court to bring justice upon you then we will go to court and we will win it because there's nothing you can say in your defence! This is my final warning!"
"I don't get it," muttered the woman, sounding much less confident. "Why would you go through so much trouble just because of some stupid panicky bartender?"
"I pity your child," Keala sighed. "If one day he ends up working in a shop and making other people happy, you won't consider him family anymore."
"Well I... I..."
The woman couldn't think of a response so she grabbed her son and stormed off.
"But Mooom, they didn't give me my Kit-Kat!"
"Oh shut up baby, they're all freaks here..."
"Hey um... I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you standing up for Tony," quietly said Steve. "I know we're quite different from everyone else and we don't participate in the islands community life that much..."
"Don't speak nonsense, Steve," Keala kindly said. "You're just as much a part of this island as I am."
Without any other words, she left.
Steve helped Tony stand up.
"Feeling better?" he asked softly. Tony slightly nodded.
"Whatever that woman said about you - it's not true," Steve said, taking Tony's hand. "You know that, right? You're very important and very special to everyone here... She's the wrong one. Not you."
Tony smiled a bit. Just a little bit but it was good enough.
"I want to go home," he whispered. "Can we please go home?"
"Of course."
"If you need any help getting home or with anything else..."
"I think we'll manage. Thanks for offering."
"Well if anything happens, you can always count on me."
"On all of us. We really appreciate Tony being here. This place just wouldn't be the same without him!"
Steve smiled.
"Thank you," he said sincerely. "Everyone one of you."
It took a few hours for Tony to recover and be able to talk about what happened.
"I don't really understand what caused it," he meekly whispered as Steve held him close. "My head just suddenly went dizzy and then my heart began racing like crazy..."
"It was just so bright and loud and I had so many thoughts in my head that I couldn't remember where I was. All of the past months... It was like they got erased. The last thing I could remember was lying in the mansion all alone..."
"I don't want it to happen again, Steve," Tony shuddered. "I'm... I'm scared it will. Eventually. Do you... Do you think it will?"
"I don't know," softly replied Steve.
"And that woman... she said so many mean things! She acted like I did something wrong..."
"You didn't do anything wrong."
"Sure feels like I did."
Steve sighed.
"Tony... There are always going to be people who think the whole world owes them. They'll only worry about they're own desires and won't give a darn about other people's feelings. And I can't guarantee that you won't ever bump into one of them again."
"But you need to remember that whatever they do, they can't hurt you. Whatever they say... it's just words. They don't matter."
"I guess..."
"They don't," Steve repeated, trying to sound as reassuring as he could. He gave Tony a kiss but Tony still looked uncertain.
Steve bit his lip. He wished he was better at giving comfort talks. Thor always did such a good job. Years ago Tony himself used to bring Steve confidence with just a couple of phrases. But everything Steve could come up with sounded bland and standard, even though it did come from his heart.
Steve walked up to sleeping Morgan and gently took her in his arms.
"All of those mean people out there... they don't matter," he quietly said. " They don't know anything about you, Tony. They can't judge. That's why we have the right to either choose to listen to them, either ignore them. It's up to us. But you, me, Peter, Morgan, Thor, the folks living on Sulani... we matter for each other."
"Because we care for each other. We look out for each other. So... in the end, only our opinions should truly matter to us," Steve smile. "And if I recall correct, all of us here adore you. That's what you should listen to. That, not some random rubbish that woman told you. We're family."
Tony smiled, staring at Morgan
"Yeah... family," he whispered.
Steve sighed. He didn't know how much damage that woman has done and how long would it take for Tony to fully bounce back to his usual self. For now, he seemed fine. But Steve had a feeling it wasn't over.
And although throughout the next few days everything seemed to be fine with Tony, although he had no problems going back to work and everyone did their best for him to forget about the incident, Steve was right.
I just realized I gave away some vital info I haven't shared yet! Yesterday, Carmella Cole and a young Cadet named Brad McGuire- with no influencing from me, fyi- autonomously risky woohooed and Carmella is now well into her third trimester! They're expecting a son to be named Daniel Kendrick McGuire. Daniel is the male form of Danielle, which was Carmella's maternal-grandmother's name, and Kendrick was her maternal-grandfather's first name.

Bob was glad that Don had stayed to hold him he couldn't really remember when they had gone to bed but it was nice, though he felt likea blimp compared to the other. Don wasn't so sure about the look he gave him.
"You did say to get comfortable..." he said they had chatted a bit after he suggested he come stay with him but then one thing lead to another. Now Don still didn't make more of a move on him but there was more there than there had been. To say the least.
He didn't think he'd ever be waking up next to the man of his dreams, life...everything he was thrilled that was all he needed right then.
"I uh...that's fine I just." he trailed off as Don't phone went off he answered and wasnt on long before he settled.
"I have to go but I'll see you later for dinner won't I?"
"Is that you asking me out?"
"If you have to ask you need more sleep bud." he gave him a kiss on the cheek and hurried out saying goodbye to Iggy on his way out.
Bob didn't have much time for thinking it over before Eliza called him reminding him it was time for Hazar's birthday.
After Hazar's birthday ugh I hate him the boy is just like his father and way too pretty, which means I love him look at mah baby I used to give the alien's make up as their birthmarks so I let Hazar continue on I can't wait till it's time for Yozari to grow up.
Anyways, Hazar wasn't all that happy with his piano book until his mother presented him with the rest of his gift.
Bob upset with the way his baby is kicking him while trying to give the new additions some attention...not cool baby.

They enjoyed Bob and Iggy's visit for a while longer before they had to go, they missed them but at least they could always visit it was the most they were going to get for now.
As they returned Iggy couldn't help but question his father.

He went into labor in the middle of the night.

I read them a couple of days ago, and tried a bunch of the stuff you mentioned, except lighting. I haven't experimented with changing the color of the lights. And I know that makes a big difference because I've run into it in hot tub scenarios.
One question. How do you use the Moschinio camera and tripod on the CL backdrops? Isn't the other one in the way?
Oh, and I had the lights hanging down because there wasn't a way of putting the good lights on the floor in which they wouldn't end up in the pictures.
I have a long long long way to go, let's just say that. But your tips were extremely helpful as far as the sliders, the angles, and just taking one Sim's picture even if there are more there.
The way you got the extra people in your shots is what I used to do with Laney when she was photographing all the original families. She could have 2 of them pose, and just hope the others would look at her.

It was awful to watch Tony fall apart again. It certainly was lucky that Steve happened to be there. If he'd been hard to find I wonder how much worse it would have been.
It was great to see all of the Islanders sticking up for Tony, and especially that Keala came in to calm it all down. She seems like a force to be reckoned with!
But I was afraid that something bad would happen. The fact that Tony experienced that momentary disorientation and amnesia was very scary. I'm not at all surprised that the nightmares came back.
It might interest you to know that there actually is medication to help with nightmares. My son takes it. Being unable to remember your dreams is actually a side effect of a blood pressure medication. When they figured that out they started prescribing it in low doses to help people with serious nightmare problems.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see where you go from here. These guys deserve a break. It's a good thing Steve has never gotten sick in any way. That would be such a disaster 😣

@AlwaysAsking I hardly ever go to McDonald's but I've always thought of it as a place that's willing to alter orders without any problem, so it's funny to hear about one of the restaurants initially refusing to budge from the menu.
All of my graphics settings are maxed out. I think high looks better, but medium isn't bad at all. It's also fine.
I love all of the photos you've taken of your sims, especially the ones with the floral backgrounds. For 3 or more sims, I prefer to simply use poses. I can barely get 3 sims to work together without them, so I prefer to just pose them with the mod.
Also, Dash and Diego communicate so well with each other. They're cute with their ab-less hair-less physiques.
Thanks for your comments about the new home I'm building! I had images of French chateau in the back of my mind, but I didn't actively copy anything. It's still a huge work in progress, though. I'm already thinking about parts I may need to redo. As for CC pictures and portraits, once you have the right software (a photo editor and Sims 4 Studio), it's very easy as it's not much more than copying and pasting -- it's just tedious.
@sarabeth2984 I hope you're feeling better. The wedding you had in your console days sounds traumatic. I'm not one for quiting without saving, but I may have quit after the first death, pretended that it didn't happen and restarted the whole thing. Luna had a wonderful wedding though, so congrats on that and the pregnancy. But I can't say I'm a fan of Maribelle and Harry renewing their vows at someone else's wedding.
@GalacticGal I'm loving Sarah Jane's story. She has such a great personality and it's a nice change from the typical Sims story. I'm glad she was able to marry John.
@Becka28 Cassandra and Edvin have a very nice dorm. I've had sims get the scholarship for Sulani. I doubt that they can do anything to improve their chances except live in the location and hope they're lucky.
How did Cassandra lose her bikes?
This makes me want to move my young adult sims into a dorm so they can get the full college experience.
@Beardedgeek I like your tiny house! I want to do a tiny house, but my 8 sims won't fit comfortably so I've given up and decided to build something huge instead. Alejandra has such a beautiful facial structure and eyes. I hope she gets promotions quickly and never opens the door to creepy strangers.

Fier Legacy Update - yay!
Intro & Recent Past Posts in Spoiler
Dysis, the ambitious middle child of the fourth generation, wasn’t thrilled about staying home while her two older sisters went on a university tour. Both of her younger siblings were being moody and wouldn’t start university for a while so it made since for them not to go, but her…
Dysis wanted to see Britechester and Foxbury as she’d be enrolling soon. Taking a vacation or even skipping a day of high school wouldn’t have hurt anything. She wanted to learn about the universities’ economics programs because she loved–well, she loved money and hoped to learn how to run a successful business in college.
She’d tried her hand at earning money by taking flowers from the garden, arranging them, and then selling the arrangements.
But Dysis wasn’t that great at creative endeavors.

Regardless, Dysis wanted to study economics in college. Her father, Asher, grew up in a patriarchal environment and assumed his human daughters would marry and refrain from working outside the home. If Dysis’ future husband weren’t wealthy, Asher would give them enough money to live without worries … but Dysis wanted to enroll in college, learn how to be a business woman, and make a ton of money independently.
She was ambitious like him and didn’t understand why he didn’t get it. She’d been like him since she was little; yet, he seemed to favor Delmarya (and Aster–because everything was always about Aster with Asher) as Deli was a vampire. But personality-wise, Deli and Asher were very different.
Dysis, though, has been like Asher since she was little.

Here’s Dysis as a toddler destroying her own doll house because that’s what she enjoyed doing. However, Dysis did grow up to be quite nice. She only destroyed the house by herself, not in front of her siblings. Asher, well, …
At any rate, while Dawn and Deli were still out learning about their options for further education, Dysis went on the deck at home to practice chess. She figured that if she wasn’t creatively talented, she could at least develop strong logic skills. Besides, the electricity was out in the house as Asher had issued a Sulani-wide decree banning electricity between 8:00 p.m. and midnight.
When her sisters arrived home, Dysis suggested starting a bonfire to hang out around so that she could learn all about Britechester and Foxbury.
But as Dysis couldn’t really get a fire started that idea had to be scrapped.
Meanwhile, Asher, who also missed out on the tour, was curious about universities and started “researching” them in his own way when the electricity returned.
As Asher wasn’t doing the sort of research Dysis was interested in, she gave up on things for the time being and just ate a late dinner with the twins, who’d yet to cheer up.

Sooo...I forgot to turn off aging in unplayed lots while I was playing another family, and when I came back to my household, Kota, Ayana, and Satyuri were all elders and about to shuffle off the ol' mortal coil. So, what's happening now?
Well, Haruki moved out to be with his baby-mama Vanessa after she had twins. They were hot and heavy for a while, but since he couldn't give up his college girlfriend Elsa and even had the audacity to have her move in, Vanessa and he are officially Over, and he's retreated to live with Alex and Cassie at the Goth house. Elsa is now best friends with Vanessa.
In the big house, Becca was left to raise her and Kota's daughter Mitsui, as well as their son. I rolled her back a bit age-wise, as the Bitlife Three all died almost simultaneously. Fortunately I was able to cash in Kota's aspiration points for Moodlet Solvers, so everyone drank the green juice and moved on. Ayana and Satyuri's son Taisei left the house, although he may be back because he's -- well, I'll get to that.
Becca called in reinforcements in the form of her soul-sister Julie, who was raising Becca's four children by someone else (she had two sets of twins while Kota and she were on the outs last update). Julia brought the only girl, Devon, and then there were five: Becca & Julia, the teenagers Mitsui and Devon, and then the son. Mitsui turned into a powerhouse teenager, with excellent social skills: she fulfilled two aspirations with normal aging (Leader of the Pack + Friend of the World), and now as an adult is in pursuit of two more (bodybuilder + being rich). She was the only teenager to ever earn $50,000 before even graduating.
Now that Becca's gotten older, she's decided to leave the house and retire someone more peaceful; Julie and the son are going with her, leaving Mitsui, Devon, and their mutal friend Marina. However, Devon has spoiled the peace by having shower woohoo with Taisei, and giving birth to twins, Kody and Kal. Marina has been turned into the de facto nanny, much to her un-amusement. I may make Taisei and Devon an item in their own house, since I like focusing on Mitsui, who is a burgeoning super-sim -- high skills all around, from athlete to music to cooking.
In addition to her social media presence, which nets $5000 daily, Mitsui was offered to be a middle manager at a firm; after a week she blew the whistle on some corruption there, and was then offered a position as an astronaut. Well, whynaut?
Devon sets her sights on Taesei.
One of Mitsui and Devon's clubs was the Gunters, which is meant for "geeks" -- the activities are playing chess, cards, video games, etc. These two showed up wearing perfect shirts.

Unfortunately the food disagrees with her, and she has to spend the night in the bathroom... (yikes!)
The next night they go further away, to a local bar. A local bar in Sulani. The woman serving the drinks is very nice!
The night is a success and when she comes home her acceptance letter from Foxbury University awaits in the mail! She immediately enrolls...!

It's hurtful when some Historians actually start 'Legend Has It …' RUMORS, that stick around for 200+ years. Face/palm. One of which suggests that John began a romance with Catherine Sherrill at the time he rescued her during the Siege of Fort Watauga on 21 July 1776. He was very married to Sarah at the time. And the father of eight children, too. Not saying that sort of thing didn't happen, but it's hard to think it's true when he loved Sarah like he loved no other woman. (And that's according to our family historian, who has researched our family for over 50 years now.)
So, to have him autonomously let himself be seduced by Candi Behr (at least she appeared to be the aggressor, pressing him up against the closet door at the bar in Windenburg in a furious lip-lock) was bad enough. Worse was seeing him reach behind his back to slide open the closet door, pulling her inside with him. The obvious woohoo going on was mad and passionate as the closet doors rattled in and out, almost flying off of the track! Not only was this in public, but his mother and wife were on hand, since his mother was throwing the Charity Event. Was he merely being charitable to the little wall-flower? I was sitting in my chair saying "Oh, no you don't, Mister!" Decided right then and there the resolution was to exit without saving that way there would be no memory. It was as if it never happened. Which it didn't.
When I went back into my game I quickly sent them home. Yeah, I ended the event and sent them right home. No Candi for you, John. You're grounded, Bud. LOL
This happened, but then my power went out for a minute and I had to turn my computer back on. Carmella temporarily dropped out of college so she can focus on herself and the baby.

Neat blends! I use Waterlilies by Gloamsims - it's based on Luumia's Vanilla with a few other details. Also got Pyxis' Aloha! eyes, and there's a few other random masks and stuff I use depending on the Sim (although, honestly, not often).

I was hoping that she and Darling would really connect, but Darling seems to prefer Hugo. They hung out together a lot as teens, I had Darling mentor Hugo on his exercise and weight loss. I had to do the bridezilla save lol! Luna strikes me as being a drama queen when the mood strikes her. Comes from personal experience lol. I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends’ wedding. She was a bridezilla. Which we all poke fun at her now because she is one of the most practical and non-dramatic people you will ever meet! I was really enjoying all the drama unfolding:)
I can control Griffin the ghost thankfully! He starts possessing stuff to break if I don’t keep him under control, I make him possess to repair whatever he breaks lol. Yeah Lisette his daughter is still actually stuck in the bear phase which is as annoying as all get out. I think she is actually glitching, because she’s been stuck in this phase for a really long time.

Ok on to my story!
This happened awhile ago because I’ve been too sick to play much. Here goes
I was still playing with the Morecombe siblings in their new condo. Joanna Morecombe was settling with her new baby and fiance Vincent. Her older brother Barnaby moved in the adjacent condo with his daughter Natalie. They had joint custody of their deceased brother, Griffin’s, daughters Lisette and Marla. Griffin of course has stuck around as a ghost. He’s having a blast exploring his ghostly powers.

His absolutely favorite thing to do though, was haunt his former wife’s new house. Agnes was now living with her son and new husband in Windenberg. Griffin had caught them cheating behind his back, he threw a fit and accidentally set himself on fire, causing his death.

Enough was enough! Vince asks Joanna if she could do something about it? Does she know any spells?
She knows they exist, but she had a problem. She wasn’t high ranking enough to learn de-deathify. She had to be careful because during the course of her studies, practicing, and experimenting, she had picked up a couple of curses. Fountain of Magic, which caused her magic charge to build up rapidly. She had her first magical overcharge explosion and it hurt like hell, scared her (and me) half to death too!
She had discovered earlier that morning, that she had picked up the Night Spectre. Sounds ominous. She agrees. She makes a big breakfast for everyone and calls in the reinforcements. They agree, for a price, they had a lot of honey-do chores and if she did them, he’d help her.
Jo and Griffin head over to her old magical master’s house, Morgyn Ember! She gives him an idea of her plan
Morgyn had settled in with Susan Sto Helit and her grandfather, Death (who was retired). Griffin introduces himself, again
Take that! And scares the daylights out of him
Morgyn had to go to work so, Death gives Jo the list of to-do-chores
She sets about her job. Griffin helps too.
She makes a nice meal for when the Embers get home

Their stepmother had been doing portraits. She did one for Vlad Straud and his new (mortal) wife! Apparently Vlad had turned over a new leaf
Who knew!!
On the way back home from Morgyn’s house, Griffin felt like he needed a new start too.
He’s going back to college!

His voice was filled with anger and his eyes were blazing with rage. Never have he hated anyone as much as this woman standing in front of him. Tony was improving faster then ever. Every single day he became a little more confident, a little less dependant. He stopped constantly looking for Steve's approval and began developing his own opinion. He made so much progress...
Within minutes, this woman broke Tony down almost to the exact state Steve found him months ago. Within minutes.
"It's not my problem he's so fragile," scoffed the woman. "Shouldn't be working with people if he can't handle a little bit of criticism!"
"Criticism? Criticism!?"
"Steve."
"Do you even understand what you've done to him!?"
"Steve!" Mele raised her voice. "Leave her."
"She's not the one who needs you right now."

"Tony... Tony it's me, Steve..."
Tony flinched at his touch.
"Please don't tell Nick I was arguing," he whimpered. "He'll hurt me... or Steve... I can't let him hurt Steve..."
"We tried to talk to him but it seems like he isn't realising anything around him," quietly explained one of the islanders.
"Tony, Nick isn't here... We're on Sulani, remember?" Steve soothed gently. "I'm safe, Peter's safe, you're safe and no one will ever hurt us again..."
His voice began trembling.
"Please remember honey. Please Tony, please..."
"We're in... Sulani," suddenly whispered Tony. "Nick's gone and I'm... I'm..."
Steve exhaled in relief.
"You're safe. You're safe, love. No one is going to hurt you."
Clinging onto Steve, Tony broke into tears.
"I forgot!" he cried, shaking. "It was so bright and someone was yelling and I couldn't understand where I was... I was so scared that I forgot all about us... How could I forget!?"
"Shh, it's okay. It's okay honey. I'm here."
"But I forgot and I was so scared... I couldn't remember where I was!" Tony sobbed.
"I know honey. Everything's okay now. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left you..."
Tony tried to get up but he couldn't take control over his body yet, still quivering and shaking. Then Steve lowered himself to Tony's level. He sat on the floor, gently took Tony in his arms, and gave him a few very light and tender kisses, feeling his heart race like crazy.
Little by little, kiss after kiss, it started slowing down.
"You stupid woman," angrily spat Mele. "Out! Out of my cafe! Now! I don't want you coming near this place ever again!"
"Sheesh, all of that fuss because of some worthless bartender..."
"How dare you," snapped an old lady. "How dare you come here and hurt our Tony!"
"Exactly! How dare you hurt our Tony! He wouldn't touch a fly! And we wouldn't ever want anyone else working here!"
"You can't refuse me service! I'm a customer! I'm going to call the police!"
"Uh... that'd be me. And unless you want me to do more then give you a ticket and a warning, I suggest you choose your words more carefully."
"This is insane," the woman snorted. "All of you grouping up for some petty, sick, useless guy who clearly has issues and shouldn't even be allowed near normal people!"
"Geez, don't speak toxic in front of the baby..." muttered Dwayne.
"You know nothing of Tony or what he'd been through," stated Mele. "Granted, we don't know all of the details either. But we know that he's a man with a big heart and that's enough for us to take him into our community with open arms. You, on the other hand, know nothing of kindness or sympathy. People like you shouldn't be allowed near others - not Tony!"
"Well I don't know what sort of a questionable community you think you've got here but I'll make sure to..."
"Silence!"
The woman froze with her mouth open wide. Everyone looked over. It was Keala Hoapili.
"And here comes the thunder," smiled Mele.
"Oh? And who do you happen to be?"
"I happen to be the chief of Sulani," Keala spoke in a quiet but strict tone. Her voice was as cold as ice. "And I do not appreciate you barging into my home and hurting my people."
"Oh? And what are you going to do about that?" the woman mocked.
"First I'll have you deported to wherever you came from, then I'll make sure you pay for worsening the state of a person with unstable mental health and trust me, if we have to go to court to bring justice upon you then we will go to court and we will win it because there's nothing you can say in your defence! This is my final warning!"
"I don't get it," muttered the woman, sounding much less confident. "Why would you go through so much trouble just because of some stupid panicky bartender?"
"I pity your child," Keala sighed. "If one day he ends up working in a shop and making other people happy, you won't consider him family anymore."
"Well I... I..."
The woman couldn't think of a response so she grabbed her son and stormed off.
"But Mooom, they didn't give me my Kit-Kat!"
"Oh shut up baby, they're all freaks here..."
"Hey um... I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you standing up for Tony," quietly said Steve. "I know we're quite different from everyone else and we don't participate in the islands community life that much..."
"Don't speak nonsense, Steve," Keala kindly said. "You're just as much a part of this island as I am."
Without any other words, she left.
Steve helped Tony stand up.
"Feeling better?" he asked softly. Tony slightly nodded.
"Whatever that woman said about you - it's not true," Steve said, taking Tony's hand. "You know that, right? You're very important and very special to everyone here... She's the wrong one. Not you."
Tony smiled a bit. Just a little bit but it was good enough.
"I want to go home," he whispered. "Can we please go home?"
"Of course."
"If you need any help getting home or with anything else..."
"I think we'll manage. Thanks for offering."
"Well if anything happens, you can always count on me."
"On all of us. We really appreciate Tony being here. This place just wouldn't be the same without him!"
Steve smiled.
"Thank you," he said sincerely. "Everyone one of you."
It took a few hours for Tony to recover and be able to talk about what happened.

"I don't want it to happen again, Steve," Tony shuddered. "I'm... I'm scared it will. Eventually. Do you... Do you think it will?"
"I don't know," softly replied Steve.
"And that woman... she said so many mean things! She acted like I did something wrong..."
"You didn't do anything wrong."
"Sure feels like I did."
Steve sighed.
"Tony... There are always going to be people who think the whole world owes them. They'll only worry about they're own desires and won't give a darn about other people's feelings. And I can't guarantee that you won't ever bump into one of them again."
"But you need to remember that whatever they do, they can't hurt you. Whatever they say... it's just words. They don't matter."
"I guess..."
"They don't," Steve repeated, trying to sound as reassuring as he could. He gave Tony a kiss but Tony still looked uncertain.
Steve bit his lip. He wished he was better at giving comfort talks. Thor always did such a good job. Years ago Tony himself used to bring Steve confidence with just a couple of phrases. But everything Steve could come up with sounded bland and standard, even though it did come from his heart.
Steve walked up to sleeping Morgan and gently took her in his arms.
"All of those mean people out there... they don't matter," he quietly said. " They don't know anything about you, Tony. They can't judge. That's why we have the right to either choose to listen to them, either ignore them. It's up to us. But you, me, Peter, Morgan, Thor, the folks living on Sulani... we matter for each other."
"Because we care for each other. We look out for each other. So... in the end, only our opinions should truly matter to us," Steve smile. "And if I recall correct, all of us here adore you. That's what you should listen to. That, not some random rubbish that woman told you. We're family."
Tony smiled, staring at Morgan
"Yeah... family," he whispered.
Steve sighed. He didn't know how much damage that woman has done and how long would it take for Tony to fully bounce back to his usual self. For now, he seemed fine. But Steve had a feeling it wasn't over.
And although throughout the next few days everything seemed to be fine with Tony, although he had no problems going back to work and everyone did their best for him to forget about the incident, Steve was right.
Because the nightmares were back.

Bob was glad that Don had stayed to hold him he couldn't really remember when they had gone to bed but it was nice, though he felt likea blimp compared to the other. Don wasn't so sure about the look he gave him.
"You did say to get comfortable..." he said they had chatted a bit after he suggested he come stay with him but then one thing lead to another. Now Don still didn't make more of a move on him but there was more there than there had been. To say the least.
He didn't think he'd ever be waking up next to the man of his dreams, life...everything he was thrilled that was all he needed right then.
"I uh...that's fine I just." he trailed off as Don't phone went off he answered and wasnt on long before he settled.
"I have to go but I'll see you later for dinner won't I?"
"Is that you asking me out?"
"If you have to ask you need more sleep bud." he gave him a kiss on the cheek and hurried out saying goodbye to Iggy on his way out.
Bob didn't have much time for thinking it over before Eliza called him reminding him it was time for Hazar's birthday.
After Hazar's birthday ugh I hate him the boy is just like his father and way too pretty, which means I love him look at mah baby
Anyways, Hazar wasn't all that happy with his piano book until his mother presented him with the rest of his gift.
Bob upset with the way his baby is kicking him while trying to give the new additions some attention...not cool baby.

They enjoyed Bob and Iggy's visit for a while longer before they had to go, they missed them but at least they could always visit it was the most they were going to get for now.
As they returned Iggy couldn't help but question his father.

He went into labor in the middle of the night.
mccc said he had one baby but I changed the lot trait and he got more than one, either way he'd love them forever.

I read them a couple of days ago, and tried a bunch of the stuff you mentioned, except lighting. I haven't experimented with changing the color of the lights. And I know that makes a big difference because I've run into it in hot tub scenarios.
One question. How do you use the Moschinio camera and tripod on the CL backdrops? Isn't the other one in the way?
Oh, and I had the lights hanging down because there wasn't a way of putting the good lights on the floor in which they wouldn't end up in the pictures.
I have a long long long way to go, let's just say that. But your tips were extremely helpful as far as the sliders, the angles, and just taking one Sim's picture even if there are more there.
The way you got the extra people in your shots is what I used to do with Laney when she was photographing all the original families. She could have 2 of them pose, and just hope the others would look at her.

It was awful to watch Tony fall apart again. It certainly was lucky that Steve happened to be there. If he'd been hard to find I wonder how much worse it would have been.
It was great to see all of the Islanders sticking up for Tony, and especially that Keala came in to calm it all down. She seems like a force to be reckoned with!
But I was afraid that something bad would happen. The fact that Tony experienced that momentary disorientation and amnesia was very scary. I'm not at all surprised that the nightmares came back.
It might interest you to know that there actually is medication to help with nightmares. My son takes it. Being unable to remember your dreams is actually a side effect of a blood pressure medication. When they figured that out they started prescribing it in low doses to help people with serious nightmare problems.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see where you go from here. These guys deserve a break. It's a good thing Steve has never gotten sick in any way. That would be such a disaster 😣

@AlwaysAsking I hardly ever go to McDonald's but I've always thought of it as a place that's willing to alter orders without any problem, so it's funny to hear about one of the restaurants initially refusing to budge from the menu.
All of my graphics settings are maxed out. I think high looks better, but medium isn't bad at all. It's also fine.
I love all of the photos you've taken of your sims, especially the ones with the floral backgrounds. For 3 or more sims, I prefer to simply use poses. I can barely get 3 sims to work together without them, so I prefer to just pose them with the mod.
Also, Dash and Diego communicate so well with each other. They're cute with their ab-less hair-less physiques.
Thanks for your comments about the new home I'm building! I had images of French chateau in the back of my mind, but I didn't actively copy anything. It's still a huge work in progress, though. I'm already thinking about parts I may need to redo. As for CC pictures and portraits, once you have the right software (a photo editor and Sims 4 Studio), it's very easy as it's not much more than copying and pasting -- it's just tedious.
@sarabeth2984 I hope you're feeling better. The wedding you had in your console days sounds traumatic. I'm not one for quiting without saving, but I may have quit after the first death, pretended that it didn't happen and restarted the whole thing. Luna had a wonderful wedding though, so congrats on that and the pregnancy. But I can't say I'm a fan of Maribelle and Harry renewing their vows at someone else's wedding.
@GalacticGal I'm loving Sarah Jane's story. She has such a great personality and it's a nice change from the typical Sims story. I'm glad she was able to marry John.
@Becka28 Cassandra and Edvin have a very nice dorm. I've had sims get the scholarship for Sulani. I doubt that they can do anything to improve their chances except live in the location and hope they're lucky.

This makes me want to move my young adult sims into a dorm so they can get the full college experience.

Fier Legacy Update - yay!
Intro & Recent Past Posts in Spoiler
Dysis, the ambitious middle child of the fourth generation, wasn’t thrilled about staying home while her two older sisters went on a university tour. Both of her younger siblings were being moody and wouldn’t start university for a while so it made since for them not to go, but her…
Dysis wanted to see Britechester and Foxbury as she’d be enrolling soon. Taking a vacation or even skipping a day of high school wouldn’t have hurt anything. She wanted to learn about the universities’ economics programs because she loved–well, she loved money and hoped to learn how to run a successful business in college.
She’d tried her hand at earning money by taking flowers from the garden, arranging them, and then selling the arrangements.
But Dysis wasn’t that great at creative endeavors.

Regardless, Dysis wanted to study economics in college. Her father, Asher, grew up in a patriarchal environment and assumed his human daughters would marry and refrain from working outside the home. If Dysis’ future husband weren’t wealthy, Asher would give them enough money to live without worries … but Dysis wanted to enroll in college, learn how to be a business woman, and make a ton of money independently.
She was ambitious like him and didn’t understand why he didn’t get it. She’d been like him since she was little; yet, he seemed to favor Delmarya (and Aster–because everything was always about Aster with Asher) as Deli was a vampire. But personality-wise, Deli and Asher were very different.
Dysis, though, has been like Asher since she was little.

Here’s Dysis as a toddler destroying her own doll house because that’s what she enjoyed doing. However, Dysis did grow up to be quite nice. She only destroyed the house by herself, not in front of her siblings. Asher, well, …
At any rate, while Dawn and Deli were still out learning about their options for further education, Dysis went on the deck at home to practice chess. She figured that if she wasn’t creatively talented, she could at least develop strong logic skills. Besides, the electricity was out in the house as Asher had issued a Sulani-wide decree banning electricity between 8:00 p.m. and midnight.
When her sisters arrived home, Dysis suggested starting a bonfire to hang out around so that she could learn all about Britechester and Foxbury.
But as Dysis couldn’t really get a fire started that idea had to be scrapped.
Meanwhile, Asher, who also missed out on the tour, was curious about universities and started “researching” them in his own way when the electricity returned.
As Asher wasn’t doing the sort of research Dysis was interested in, she gave up on things for the time being and just ate a late dinner with the twins, who’d yet to cheer up.

Sooo...I forgot to turn off aging in unplayed lots while I was playing another family, and when I came back to my household, Kota, Ayana, and Satyuri were all elders and about to shuffle off the ol' mortal coil. So, what's happening now?
Well, Haruki moved out to be with his baby-mama Vanessa after she had twins. They were hot and heavy for a while, but since he couldn't give up his college girlfriend Elsa and even had the audacity to have her move in, Vanessa and he are officially Over, and he's retreated to live with Alex and Cassie at the Goth house. Elsa is now best friends with Vanessa.
In the big house, Becca was left to raise her and Kota's daughter Mitsui, as well as their son. I rolled her back a bit age-wise, as the Bitlife Three all died almost simultaneously. Fortunately I was able to cash in Kota's aspiration points for Moodlet Solvers, so everyone drank the green juice and moved on. Ayana and Satyuri's son Taisei left the house, although he may be back because he's -- well, I'll get to that.
Becca called in reinforcements in the form of her soul-sister Julie, who was raising Becca's four children by someone else (she had two sets of twins while Kota and she were on the outs last update). Julia brought the only girl, Devon, and then there were five: Becca & Julia, the teenagers Mitsui and Devon, and then the son. Mitsui turned into a powerhouse teenager, with excellent social skills: she fulfilled two aspirations with normal aging (Leader of the Pack + Friend of the World), and now as an adult is in pursuit of two more (bodybuilder + being rich). She was the only teenager to ever earn $50,000 before even graduating.
Now that Becca's gotten older, she's decided to leave the house and retire someone more peaceful; Julie and the son are going with her, leaving Mitsui, Devon, and their mutal friend Marina. However, Devon has spoiled the peace by having shower woohoo with Taisei, and giving birth to twins, Kody and Kal. Marina has been turned into the de facto nanny, much to her un-amusement. I may make Taisei and Devon an item in their own house, since I like focusing on Mitsui, who is a burgeoning super-sim -- high skills all around, from athlete to music to cooking.
In addition to her social media presence, which nets $5000 daily, Mitsui was offered to be a middle manager at a firm; after a week she blew the whistle on some corruption there, and was then offered a position as an astronaut. Well, whynaut?
Devon sets her sights on Taesei.
One of Mitsui and Devon's clubs was the Gunters, which is meant for "geeks" -- the activities are playing chess, cards, video games, etc. These two showed up wearing perfect shirts.

It was Spice Festival time again, and guess what! Mia won the challenge!
April and Mia also enjoyed a quiet Harvestfest alone at home.
Also, it was their 1 year anniversary! To celebrate, they went out to eat at Pink (my build), where they had their first date.
And April popped the question!

They were people just like us doing the best they could with what they had, and the circumstances of where they lived and the times they lived in. So, to have him autonomously let himself be seduced by Candi Behr (at least she appeared to be the aggressor, pressing him up against the closet door at the bar in Windenburg in a furious lip-lock) was bad enough. Worse was seeing him reach behind his back to slide open the closet door, pulling her inside with him.
When I went back into my game I quickly sent them home. Yeah, I ended the event and sent them right home. No Candi for you, John. You're grounded, Bud. LOL
