Samara announces to Cameron she is pregnant. She is still studying in college but she's only 8 days from being an adult Why does college take up so much of their YA lives???
It's Cameron's birthday to become an adult from YA.
Samara gives birth to twins. I tried to do everything in my power to increase chances of twins or triplets. I did the fertility trait from aspiration points, the lot trait and the fertility massage.
Got twins... one boy... one girl.
First born was a boy. His name is Sean. He is named after a character in the show Pretty Little Liars. He was Hanna's boyfriend in the first season of the tv show.
Second born was a girl. She is named Meredith. Meredith was a female character that Aria's dad had an affair with.

So we'll see. Hopefully it works. I don't need him to constantly upset Dash. Thorne just yells at Don when Don says it to him. (He queues it up instantly if I'm not watching him 😅) but Idk if Dash would yell or be sad 😔
All those screenshots you did to show your settings are amazing!! So ... like I'm starting to think it's probably something to do with my computer. Like I'm pretty sure that I have a completely standard graphics card. This is not a gaming computer in the least. Your pictures are incredible.

It was so cute to see your pictures of Dash and Diego together! 😊 How does Dash act in your game? In mine it was impossible for Don to upset him. Anything Don did (including flirting with other people) was ok by him. It was nuts! And no, Don doesn't have the player trait (yet). Knox, on the other hand, does have the player trait. So he never actually upset Diego at all. 😂
Thank you, having gone through what Don is going through makes it quite easy to write as him. I'm often worried that I'm not clear enough on his thoughts and feelings though, because of that. I already know how he feels, you know? So I don't have to try to explain it to me. In my mind it's clear. Hopefully I'm conveying it well enough.
Cool that you got the gist of Don and Malcolm from answers here, because I don't remember exploring their relationship much in earlier chapters. So I don't know if there would be any hints there 🤔

It's been very awkward for my sims in my game including my current household seems my game has become a crank fest. At each other's throats or just can't seem to stay in a good mood. Lol
But recently!...
Vegeta came by my current household and ran into Raditz. He was actually coming by to pick up a commissioned piece my simself drew for him. (Vegeta's mods created by yours truly).
Raditz got eaten by the cowplant once after not heeding the warning about not feeding it at got his fingers bit. The cow plant apparently has a taste for saiyan now.. But yet the dope become daring and playing with it again.
The next day, Raditz got eatin by the cowplant, he was too tired to get food out of the fridge and went for the lure instead.
Vegeta yelling at him as he got swallowed."YOU IDIOT! Just as dimwitted as your brother!"
Luckly for Raditz, he is in another reality...erm game and will most likely get resurrected if anyone bothers to.
Grimmy came to guide his soul back up to processing and stopped for a while to research the starters of the plants brought back from Salvadora. (I'm curious about seeing if we can grow the flowers for the bees).
Honestly you would think by now, Sims would learn to eat food on the counter rather than eating the lure from the cowplant...Geeze! xDD
Cassandra and Edvin Ollie finally enrolled in university. they decided to go to Britechester. Edvin got into a distinguished history degree and Cassie is doing a regular economics degree. zedvin earned 4 scholarships. What do you have to do to earn the locality scholarship? none off my sims have won one yet - Edvin has lived in Windenberg all his life and didn't qualify for the living in Windenburg scholarship. Thankfully, they are rich and so I could really do up the dorms and the fees didn't worry them.

They also made time to go to the spice festival (Bjorn invited them.) - For story purposes Edvin is imagining what it would be like sharing his football skills with his father if he was still alive.

They finished their first semester: edvin Ollie - all As and grade average A and Cassie got some A+s and an A+ average. When they moved back home for a break - the game had called the house with Viktor and their cat - The MEow Meow household (not the Bjergsen household - obviously Meow Meow is a very important sim - or more important than Viktor anyway.
My sim Brittany gave birth to two adorable and precious babygirls.
This little girl is named Marcela. The name was randomized and I kept it because this is my RL name.
And this, dear simmers, is Ariana. She will be a very good sim. She will love to play The Sims forever. She will be a curious sim and she will be always asking. Stay safe! I read everything.
P.S. What happened to Dash? He used to be so handsome and now he looks absolutely horrible. Those eyebags. Poor guy.

Anyway, I built my own studio room with a pretty corner for pictures. Laney called these two in to get some shots, and they walked over here, away from those things on the floor where they are supposed to stand. Why?

Anyway, I popped some flowers in behind the guys, and continued their shots, but yeah, dumb angle! Why did they go over there?
I could get individual shots of them where I wanted them.

I think Jasper and Laney are just smarter than those two, lmao. And I think Laney agrees with me.

I was trying to build a studio room for Laney that was decorated 360 degrees, so that Sims as dumb as Don and Thorne couldn't screw things up. But she can't shoot anything in there with her tripod. She got these while holding her camera. As you can see, help is needed. Lights are hanging a bit low. lol

@AlwaysAsking it might be a computer thing, yeah. I have a gaming laptop and it's only a bit over a year old, so I'd be concerned if it didn't play the Sims well!
Also for some of the group shots, they may just be made using poses? I haven't actually used the Moschino photography stuff, so I'm not sure how it compares, but I honestly just use poses for shots like this:
Downside, of course, is that these are just screenshots, not in-game photos, so they can't be framed and stuff.
Yes, I decided to commit a bit more to her backstory that her mom as from Windenburg and her dad from Selvadorada (where she grew up).
This time she starts in Oasis Springs; I wanted somewhere warm and sunny... with a lot of small lots. Hence not Strangerville.
Haven't played much; had some mistakes in the floor plan I had to fix first. I am happy about it now but she will definitely extend her 32 square house to a 64 square one after she gets high up in her career.
I visited the neighbor next door, and her 64 square lot feels like a full-size house with a separate bedroom and everything. 32 squares always become a trailer, basically. Especially if you squeeze in a double bed (even a Murphy one) and laundry.
Oh btw, Alejandra definitely wonders who that old fart is that keeps knocking on her door every night.
@AlwaysAsking there is a massive learning curve with the pack. I have no idea why the backgrounds are so grainy except that I think it is about how photos look in game and the fuzzy background makes sims clearer in the photos. I prefer the original backdrops on the get to work tool - you can use them with the tripod and lights. I do appreciate that it is something to spend time and effort on - things are sometimes too easy in game. It really feels like Mina is learning and improving at her job.
Some hints below - I am still learning:
Basically I take in game photos for frames where I am close up on sims poses and faces - to put on walls etc. The fuzzy backdrops don't really show as fuzzy and the photos are actually better looking in game then the selfie ones with clear well rendered backgrounds. Then I take further out ones that I can edit for screenshots later (trimming/ colouring cropping etc.) I do love what editing can do with Moschino shots and I only have the basic windows editor. Either sort of shot qualifies for freelancer career.

Original - lots of extra space to edit off - (I would have taken 5 nice in game ones and 5 for me) I love having 10 shots to play with.

Have you found the slider along the bottom of photoscreen which changes the angle in a 360 around the photo subjects? this makes the same shot look totally different.

I remembered here and it makes him look better then shooting at eye level.
Tripod from Moschino and Get to work backdrop - the lighting was originally too dark and then I way overcorrected - it is trial and error.
This is the photo drape from Moschino - strangely you can only change the limited backdrops in build mode. But they are not fuzzy. And you can put props on them.
I don't know why it is that some sims are too stupid to stand where they should - it doesn't go wrong if you use the fashion marks and the take photo of sims on fashion mark command. But take photo of sims... can go wrong and I haven't worked out why it happens.
I was disappointed in Morgyn who missed the screens totally.
But using the slider gave me this shot
Little Simsie built a photo studio in a youtube video that has certain staged areas - ie. a painted wall and some furniture eg. a kids room, romantic flowers like yours etc and doesn't use the backdrops - that seems to be an excellent idea and I think I will steal it. My outside "photostudio" takes nicer photos than the inside one because no fuzzy backdrops basically!
Who needs a photostudio? (or lights - these are natural lighting of the world)
Having autonomy off can help if sims are being ultra difficult (I hate doing it but you get the shots you want). The game is still only designed to have 3 posed sims. To do more than 3 sims - put 3 on fashion marks and others stand in shots (they won't change poses though, only marks sims will - getting them to face the front and have a good expression is also trial, error and screaming frustration).) For families - I use a lounge and have people on marks behind lounge. You HAVE to have autonomy off!
In the top shot the sims in front are on the fashion marks and the two at the back are stood there (autonomy off)
in the bottom every sim stood where I told them and did what I told them (autonomy off) I just did take photo for this one I think.
I was almost across the other side of a 30 x 20 lot to have the backdrop not look fuzzy too.
With the lighting I have 4 lights - I will screen shot my setup later but the lights are in line with the tripod but out to the side the larger then the smaller. I often put the brighter colour (yellows/ whites etc) on the smaller lights and the deeper blues/greens/ purples on the bigger ones. The smaller light is more concentrated in focus whereas the larger one spreads out more. Turn one side off for dramatic shadows, use complementary or clashing colours to radically change the backdrops. Light the sims and angle the lights so they don't hit the backdrops and they are less fuzzy - in the Simeon/ wolfgang one above I used a really dark blue light on the backdrop to make it look more black and bright lights on the guys. The forest one goes well with a yellow light washing it out. I don't have any ceiling lights at all.
I have also found that you need your tripod further back than you think and you get better shots and less fuzzy backdrops. Earning the more expensive camera helps too.
I watched James Turner's video where he explains a bit about using the equipment but mostly its trial and error and good luck sometimes.
I really like your shots of Rose, Laney and Lawrence. I would have used the rotate tool so Rose looked like she was leaping behind the other two. And possibly focused around on the one above too so that Lawrence appeared on an angle. I also pull the focus tight in on one sim of they look great and the other 2 don't. I would have done an individual of Laney in the first one of Lawrence, Laney and Rose because that is a beautiful pose and would be one for her and Jasper to have framed. (you don't have to change pose every shot - I have taken 10 different shots off the one pose. I actually adore the shot of Don and Thorne under your sentence "but not together.. " it looks very high fashion - (and Thorne would want the focus to be on him.) I think you are looking at it through your frustration with getting sims to cooperate. Jasper and Laney are so photogenic its just not fair!
@ryttu3k I agree about Max's personality. I feel sorry for him (and I think poor Viktor is mistaking sympathy for love too). The damage was done to him at a very formative stage in his life and he is quite self destructive - he will end up pushing Viktor away to prove he is unlovable to himself. (sort of a self fulfilling prophecy) I see so many sad people who are like that But it is interesting to explore.
@AlwaysAsking Alex met Blake at one of the dance parties (I think it was the one at the chalet) and one time when he was studying at the UBrite Commons, he met Frankie. Alex rarely ventures out of the university campus, which why he only knew those two before he met Florian and Matthew during my last gameplay. So far, out of the 5 boys, he hasn't met Anthony. I think Anthony was present at one of the dance parties, but he didn't have to opportunity to say hello to him.
@AlwaysAsking Lewis is also a young adult, he's a little bit older than Sana.

Kerry's kinda struggling to figure out what he wants to do because Sana is super rich because her family won the lottery at one point in time and they still have over 700k left from that, so they don't really need money. He doesn't really have anything he's interested in other than diving, so he's working part-time as a diver for now.

@RedDestiny92 Thank you for the comments about my post. Asher intends to have many more children even though he's already a great-great grandfather (I think). This is my first time playing occults, so his family situation is odd to me--his tree is a mess--but I'm doing my own version of the 100 baby challenge with him. He's had children with other women (mostly surrogates) because Adelise doesn't want to be pregnant 100 times. (I'm bored if all my sims look the same. I want more genetic diversity.) But I'm not sure how it will be going forward. The next gen will come when most of the current one moves out.
@sarabeth2984 Kirk is cute! I like that he's friendly and talkative. I wonder what he tells his baby brother. Is he giving advice, telling about his own life or both or neither?
I like Melusine's feistiness. Picking fights isn't good, but it keeps things interesting.

Thanks for your comments about my save. Asher, my vampire founder, is not self-absorbed but he's "evil" and ambitious. Asher should be more like Barnaby. They both like the violin; Asher may be in for a divorce; he's surprisingly good with kids, so they have a lot in common, but I think Asher is too self-absorbed to be like Barnaby and reform probably isn't in his future.

@AlwaysAsking My heart aches a little for Don. I'm only on part 20, but I feel that if they're going to be together it should be because Don really wants to be with Thorne, not because he lacks options and is financially dependent.

Sometimes I like to have sim's wear a hand me down haven't done it in a while but passing on necklaces and removing them from the one that handed it off just little things like that it's cute. @hanuel oh sure thing, ha I see, he does have some nice genes to pass down even if he is old as graveyard dirt..or something ha, nice build it's amazing what you have so far. To help with the lag no matter what computer you have it might be helpful to have some empty spaces that only have a rug and maybe a painting don't try and fill the whole thing if you don't need to. @miloek isn't he the cutest? they have much more to come the cute cats you have stole the post, them.
Okay finally caught up, so been working it is part time but the def of that has become very loose and while it hasn't been that long in a row it feels like it you get some very generous hours I don't think I"d last full time lol. Anyhoo working today then I'm supposed to have a bit of time off and pick up again.
That said here is a teeny tiny update Bob and Don part 6 on page 590
After her walk Don decided to bring Sammi over to Bob's house she was immediately curious about Iggy..maybe he smelled like bacon who knows.
Bob wasn't sure what to say Don looked so different and he found himself liking it a lot more than he thought he could being openly attracted to another man was still new enough but Don really took the cake there. It was no real surprise.
"So..." he started.
"I just wanted to see you, and I was wondering if you'll have enough room for the baby.." he still wasn't sure how to explain what he told his father and why.
"Well..."
"The baby will be in my room!" Iggy called from the kitchen.
Don laughed.
"That won't do.."
"It was his idea."
"Listen I was thinking maybe you guys could come live with us."
Bob gave him a look wondering why it was us, and not just him and Sammi, he just had a feeling.
"You and...your dog?"
"Well yeah...and my dad."
Bob was surprised, he hadn't met Don's father he didn't know he had any family around he felt a little bad they didn't know as much about one another as it seemed.
"I didn't know you lived with your father...he may not be so accepting" Don chuckled as he trailed off.
"Actually that was his idea...I told him you were expecting and such and he's a lawyer he might be able to help get some support from the father.."
"That would be nice but we don't have to come taking over..."
"It's hardly taking over babe." he said smoothly as Bob gave the smallest hint of the smile he liked being called that and he wasn't sure Don even caught himself saying it.
"But.."
"I want to help, be there I know how important your career is to you I have more free time even when I do work." Bob was taken aback by his proposal.
"That's very sweet of you but this isn't your responsibility."
"I know...and you know I'm not too smart but I believe that's called being kind, but you'll let me know wont you?" he teased as Bob laughed, it was a little too tempting.
It wasn't just a simple matter of hormones either why did he want to step up so badly when the baby's father wouldn't? It was just a different side to Don even if Bob didn't know what he might be walking into.
He looked up and grinned seeing Iggy wave a poster board with Just do it written on it, where had he gotten that? Was that what he was supposed to do his project on? He was going to have to go the store again.
"I...I'll think about it."
Don smirked.
"That's all I ask, I can see what you can do alone but then you don't have to be like that, I'm here."
Bob sighed, some relief, some affection it was just there and Don was too good.
"I know that now..."
Bob popped into the kitchen...cause pregnant and looked over he was having a hard time just standing there thinking Iggy seemed much more enthusiastic didn't all parents want to see that if the first partner or partners didn't work. He wasn't sure but it was nice to consider he just wondered if there was really room for all of them. As for what he told Hanson, well he'd mention that later.

And just more height/proportion options in general - a two-year-old does not have the same proportions as a five-year-old, and a six-year-old doesn't have the same proportions as a twelve-year-old!
I mean I get why they won't do proportions but life would be so much easier if there was at least two height options for all ages... Just two! Just let my sims children with a three-five years of age difference be able to actually resemble that! Let my teens be smaller than their parents! Let me be able to create a couple where the boyfriend is taller than the girlfriend and vice versa... I mean three height options would be even better but I know we can't count on that.
Same person who did the toddler slider also has a preteen one and can't lie, it's the creepiest thing ever ;_;
Honestly I can't stand any custom body presets/rigs for any ages It feels like they're all made for very very VERY alpha CC that's able to hide how chunky, awkward and unnatural they look. The preteen ones are especially... bleughh. I'd rather have my twelve year olds look like nine year olds then THAT. I'm okay with height sliders though. Just as long as they don't change the body.

P.S I hope you don't mind but I must join in your conversation with @AlwaysAsking about taking photos of multiple sims and posing Poses CAN be used for in-game group photos. All you need to do is place the photographer in front of the posing sims, click on the camera and choose "take photo" (NOT "take photo of"). The downside is that there is barely any good portrait poses for five sims - I've only found one or two sets. You can combine single and couple poses though.

Oh there's definitely something, I absolutely see it now! And it fits so well because I had no idea what to do with Peter for the next few sim-months (all of my plans for him are set for summer). Not saying it's gonna be the greatest love story written (or if it's going to be a love story at all) but it'll probably be on the cute side.

"Steve, Tony, you make fine parents and I love both of you but you know very little about raising a Sulani girl," Mele laughed.
"The poor child - why would you ever put a hat on her on such a warm and wonderful day... And it looks like someone is hungry, aren't I right?"

"Yeeah, we're not feeding her solids yet..." Steve tried to reason with Mele but she wouldn't listen.
"Oh no worries, we'll start with the banana."
"Wait no- I'm serious Mele, do NOT give her anything you'll start an allergy or something else will go horribly wrong- Mele! Give me back my baby!"
"Go get her Steve!" Tony laughed.
The customers chuckled as they watched Steve vainly trying to save Morgan from getting her first solid food...
"MOOOM!"
Suddenly, the light and warm atmosphere was harshly broken by a high-pitched voice filled with anger and annoyance.
"There's no good candy here! This whole stupid island doesn't have the candy I want!! Why do we have to stay on this STUPID ISLAND!?"
"Well baby it's called vacation, I thought you liked the sea... Just choose something else..."
The little boy and his mother weren't from around. They moved a few days ago in the exact vacation house Tony used to rent a long time ago. A lot of locals seen them throughout the week. Usually on beaches. They came off as snobby, bratty and very self-absorbed. They looked down on the islanders and didn't even bother cleaning up their trash they left all across the beach. The locals gritted their teeth but said nothing. They were always patient with tourists. But these tourists were an exceptional pain to deal with.
"Do you want a cupcake baby?"
"NO! I want my Kit-Kat and they don't got any!!" the little boy wailed. "Those stupid people don't got any Kit-Kat!"
"Don't cry baby," the woman shifted her eyes on unsuspecting Tony. "Mommy will show them how to treat you like that..."
"Hey you!" she shouted. "You're the bartender here, right?"
"That me, ma'am-"
"First of all why aren't you wearing a uniform? How do you think I'm supposed to identify you in this crowd? Second - my boy is asking for Kit-Kat! So you tell me - why doesn't your shop have any Kit-Kat?"
"Besides the pastries Mele bakes herself we also have a list where customers can leave what they want to see in our cafe and once a month we order them from the city. No one ever requested Kit-Kat before so we don't have them," calmly explained Tony, taken slightly aback by the woman's harsh and demanding tone. "If you like, you can leave a request for Kit-Kat on the list and then we'll order them next week-"
"WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS!?" screamed the woman. "I don't care how everything here works!! If my little boy wants Kit-Kat you better GO GET HIM KIT-KAT!"
Tony flinched. His throat suddenly went dry.
"I'm sorry ma'am but that's really not possible..." he quietly said. Something was wrong. Something was very very wrong. Tony didn't know exactly what was wrong, but he knew one thing: he needed Steve. Now.
"Excuses excuses excuses... You can't even do what a customer asks you! I can't believe they hired you here. You're useless!"
You're useless... You're useless... Useless... the last words span round and round in Tony's head, every time sounding a little more like Nick. He started feeling dizzy.
"Ma'am please, if you could only wait a week-"
"Hey! I know you!" suddenly yelled the little boy. "You're Tony Stark!"
Tony flinched.
"No- No I'm not," he muttered, feeling sweat running down his forehead.
"Yeah you are!" the kid laughed. "They show you on the telly!"
"Don't be stupid baby, this man couldn't be Tony Stark," the woman smiled patronisingly. "He's just a bartender."
"A petty little bartender who can't even do the little work he has - that's what he is!"
"Now I'm filing a complaint on you! And I'll make sure your boss will fire you for being a lazy and disrespectful worker!"
Tony felt his legs weaken. He realised he had no idea what was going on. Is this Nick's place? Why isn't he acting or giving out autographs or sitting on another boring interview? Why is it so bright? He never turned on the lights. He stopped turning them on when Steve left...
A woman was yelling at him. Clearly, he did something wrong. Again.
"But I'm- I'm trying to be my best..." he whispered.
"Excuse me? Are you arguing with me!?" shrieked the woman. "You don't have the right to argue with me, I'm a customer! I'm always right!!! Your opinion here means NOTHING!"
Tony quickly shook his head. No arguing. No complaining. His opinion didn't matter - he remembered that very well.
"No, I'm not" he muttered, desperately hoping the woman would believe him and stop screaming so hard it hurt his ears. "I'm-I'm not. No arguing, no complaining, no arguing, no complaining, It's all for my own good, all for my own g-"
"What is WRONG with you!?" yelled the woman. Tony shuddered and silenced.
"First you can't give my little baby the candy he wants, then you're getting in an argument with a customer, now you're trying to get me off your back so I don't write a complaint on you!!"
"Please, I'm sorry... I'm really sorry I argued," Tony whispered timidly. "I'll do better next time."
"Oh of course you'll say that! You'll say anything to keep this job because clearly you're so arrogant and useless you won't be getting any other one!"
"Please don't tell Nick."
"So this Nick is your boss? Oh, I'm telling him alright. I'm telling him about EVERYTHING and I'll make sure he kicks you out!"
"Please don't, he'll be really mad..."
"Oh I hope he will! Hand me the complaint book! NOW!"
Tears started running down Tony's face and he buried it in his trembling hand. He didn't understand what the woman wanted him to do, he didn't understand what was going on, he didn't understand where he was and how he ended up here. The only thing in all of this that made sense were the harsh words the woman said about him. She was right: he's useless. Always was, always will be.
"Oh great, here come the waterworks," the woman rolled her eyes. "Aren't you even ashamed of yourself? You're a grown man and crying! You disgust me."
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I know I'm not being my best, I should be my best but I'm not! I didn't mean for any of this to happen... Please, please don't tell Nick..."
"Hey! Where do you think you're going! I still need that complaint book!"
"Well suit yourself," the woman smirked. "I'll just wait till your boss comes out."
"Oh my goodness," whispered one of the islanders. None of them were able to speak a word, shocked with the woman's behaviour.
"What have she done to Tony... What are we going to do?"
"We need to get Steve. Quick."
"Already on it."
"Seriously Mele, Morgan's not ready for solids yet!"
"Oh she's not ready for anything in your book," Mele laughed. "Let her have her first challenge!"
"How is she supposed to chew? Her teeth are only starting to grow!"
"Guys. You need to come, quick."
"Oh hey Dwayne-" Steve frowned, noticing how worried Dwayne looked. "What's wrong?"
Dwayne took a deep breath.

Samara announces to Cameron she is pregnant. She is still studying in college but she's only 8 days from being an adult Why does college take up so much of their YA lives???
It's Cameron's birthday to become an adult from YA.
Samara gives birth to twins. I tried to do everything in my power to increase chances of twins or triplets. I did the fertility trait from aspiration points, the lot trait and the fertility massage.
Got twins... one boy... one girl.
First born was a boy. His name is Sean. He is named after a character in the show Pretty Little Liars. He was Hanna's boyfriend in the first season of the tv show.
Second born was a girl. She is named Meredith. Meredith was a female character that Aria's dad had an affair with.

Anything Don did (including flirting with other people) was ok by him. It was nuts! And no, Don doesn't have the player trait (yet). Knox, on the other hand, does have the player trait. So he never actually upset Diego at all. 😂
Thank you, having gone through what Don is going through makes it quite easy to write as him. I'm often worried that I'm not clear enough on his thoughts and feelings though, because of that. I already know how he feels, you know? So I don't have to try to explain it to me. In my mind it's clear. Hopefully I'm conveying it well enough.

Vegeta came by my current household and ran into Raditz. He was actually coming by to pick up a commissioned piece my simself drew for him. (Vegeta's mods created by yours truly).
Raditz got eaten by the cowplant once after not heeding the warning about not feeding it at got his fingers bit. The cow plant apparently has a taste for saiyan now.. But yet the dope become daring and playing with it again.
The next day, Raditz got eatin by the cowplant, he was too tired to get food out of the fridge and went for the lure instead.
Vegeta yelling at him as he got swallowed."YOU IDIOT! Just as dimwitted as your brother!"
Luckly for Raditz, he is in another reality...erm game and will most likely get resurrected if anyone bothers to.
Grimmy came to guide his soul back up to processing and stopped for a while to research the starters of the plants brought back from Salvadora. (I'm curious about seeing if we can grow the flowers for the bees).

They also made time to go to the spice festival (Bjorn invited them.) - For story purposes Edvin is imagining what it would be like sharing his football skills with his father if he was still alive.

They finished their first semester: edvin Ollie - all As and grade average A and Cassie got some A+s and an A+ average. When they moved back home for a break - the game had called the house with Viktor and their cat - The MEow Meow household (not the Bjergsen household - obviously Meow Meow is a very important sim - or more important than Viktor anyway.
This little girl is named Marcela. The name was randomized and I kept it because this is my RL name.
And this, dear simmers, is Ariana. She will be a very good sim. She will love to play The Sims forever. She will be a curious sim and she will be always asking. Stay safe!
P.S. What happened to Dash? He used to be so handsome and now he looks absolutely horrible. Those eyebags. Poor guy.

Uggg, the Moschino pack is highly annoying. I remember when all of you were first trying it out and figuring out lighting and angles and stuff.
So .... my thoughts (and questions)
Why are these backgrounds so yucky!?

Of course, mandatory shot of Thorne, because he's Thorne .. you know? Still not thrilled with the background. Still a long way to go with lighting.
Anyway, I built my own studio room with a pretty corner for pictures. Laney called these two in to get some shots, and they walked over here, away from those things on the floor where they are supposed to stand. Why?
This is where they were supposed to be... Jasper and Laney can do it right.
Anyway, I popped some flowers in behind the guys, and continued their shots, but yeah, dumb angle! Why did they go over there?
I could get individual shots of them where I wanted them.
But not together....
And then Jasper was able to use the new area well. The area where they were at a dumb angle.
I think Jasper and Laney are just smarter than those two, lmao. And I think Laney agrees with me.
She was giving Don Such a look, lol
So, the next day, Laney invites some people over to try again...

I was trying to build a studio room for Laney that was decorated 360 degrees, so that Sims as dumb as Don and Thorne couldn't screw things up. But she can't shoot anything in there with her tripod. She got these while holding her camera. As you can see, help is needed. Lights are hanging a bit low. lol
I have No idea what Tony was fussing about, lol

And I have no idea how some of you were getting shots of like 5 people together! I can't get more than 3.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to look up how to use this camera equipment, lmao

@AlwaysAsking it might be a computer thing, yeah. I have a gaming laptop and it's only a bit over a year old, so I'd be concerned if it didn't play the Sims well!
Also for some of the group shots, they may just be made using poses? I haven't actually used the Moschino photography stuff, so I'm not sure how it compares, but I honestly just use poses for shots like this:
Downside, of course, is that these are just screenshots, not in-game photos, so they can't be framed and stuff.

Yes, I decided to commit a bit more to her backstory that her mom as from Windenburg and her dad from Selvadorada (where she grew up).
This time she starts in Oasis Springs; I wanted somewhere warm and sunny... with a lot of small lots. Hence not Strangerville.
Haven't played much; had some mistakes in the floor plan I had to fix first. I am happy about it now but she will definitely extend her 32 square house to a 64 square one after she gets high up in her career.
I visited the neighbor next door, and her 64 square lot feels like a full-size house with a separate bedroom and everything. 32 squares always become a trailer, basically. Especially if you squeeze in a double bed (even a Murphy one) and laundry.
Oh btw, Alejandra definitely wonders who that old fart is that keeps knocking on her door every night.
Some hints below - I am still learning:

Original - lots of extra space to edit off - (I would have taken 5 nice in game ones and 5 for me) I love having 10 shots to play with.
heavily edited for putting in my story (not a good job - just trying to show how different editing makes them).
Have you found the slider along the bottom of photoscreen which changes the angle in a 360 around the photo subjects? this makes the same shot look totally different.

Plus I always forget to shot from down lower or up higher to get great effects.
I remembered here and it makes him look better then shooting at eye level.
Tripod from Moschino and Get to work backdrop - the lighting was originally too dark and then I way overcorrected - it is trial and error.
This is the photo drape from Moschino - strangely you can only change the limited backdrops in build mode. But they are not fuzzy. And you can put props on them.
I don't know why it is that some sims are too stupid to stand where they should - it doesn't go wrong if you use the fashion marks and the take photo of sims on fashion mark command. But take photo of sims... can go wrong and I haven't worked out why it happens.
I was disappointed in Morgyn who missed the screens totally.
But using the slider gave me this shot
Little Simsie built a photo studio in a youtube video that has certain staged areas - ie. a painted wall and some furniture eg. a kids room, romantic flowers like yours etc and doesn't use the backdrops - that seems to be an excellent idea and I think I will steal it. My outside "photostudio" takes nicer photos than the inside one because no fuzzy backdrops basically!
Who needs a photostudio? (or lights - these are natural lighting of the world)
Having autonomy off can help if sims are being ultra difficult (I hate doing it but you get the shots you want). The game is still only designed to have 3 posed sims. To do more than 3 sims - put 3 on fashion marks and others stand in shots (they won't change poses though, only marks sims will - getting them to face the front and have a good expression is also trial, error and screaming frustration).) For families - I use a lounge and have people on marks behind lounge. You HAVE to have autonomy off!
In the top shot the sims in front are on the fashion marks and the two at the back are stood there (autonomy off)
in the bottom every sim stood where I told them and did what I told them (autonomy off) I just did take photo for this one I think.
I was almost across the other side of a 30 x 20 lot to have the backdrop not look fuzzy too.
With the lighting I have 4 lights - I will screen shot my setup later but the lights are in line with the tripod but out to the side the larger then the smaller. I often put the brighter colour (yellows/ whites etc) on the smaller lights and the deeper blues/greens/ purples on the bigger ones. The smaller light is more concentrated in focus whereas the larger one spreads out more. Turn one side off for dramatic shadows, use complementary or clashing colours to radically change the backdrops. Light the sims and angle the lights so they don't hit the backdrops and they are less fuzzy - in the Simeon/ wolfgang one above I used a really dark blue light on the backdrop to make it look more black and bright lights on the guys. The forest one goes well with a yellow light washing it out. I don't have any ceiling lights at all.
I have also found that you need your tripod further back than you think and you get better shots and less fuzzy backdrops. Earning the more expensive camera helps too.
I watched James Turner's video where he explains a bit about using the equipment but mostly its trial and error and good luck sometimes.
I really like your shots of Rose, Laney and Lawrence. I would have used the rotate tool so Rose looked like she was leaping behind the other two. And possibly focused around on the one above too so that Lawrence appeared on an angle. I also pull the focus tight in on one sim of they look great and the other 2 don't. I would have done an individual of Laney in the first one of Lawrence, Laney and Rose because that is a beautiful pose and would be one for her and Jasper to have framed. (you don't have to change pose every shot - I have taken 10 different shots off the one pose. I actually adore the shot of Don and Thorne under your sentence "but not together.. " it looks very high fashion - (and Thorne would want the focus to be on him.) I think you are looking at it through your frustration with getting sims to cooperate. Jasper and Laney are so photogenic its just not fair!
@ryttu3k I agree about Max's personality. I feel sorry for him (and I think poor Viktor is mistaking sympathy for love too). The damage was done to him at a very formative stage in his life and he is quite self destructive - he will end up pushing Viktor away to prove he is unlovable to himself. (sort of a self fulfilling prophecy) I see so many sad people who are like that

Kerry's kinda struggling to figure out what he wants to do because Sana is super rich because her family won the lottery at one point in time and they still have over 700k left from that, so they don't really need money. He doesn't really have anything he's interested in other than diving, so he's working part-time as a diver for now.

@RedDestiny92 Thank you for the comments about my post. Asher intends to have many more children even though he's already a great-great grandfather (I think). This is my first time playing occults, so his family situation is odd to me--his tree is a mess--but I'm doing my own version of the 100 baby challenge with him. He's had children with other women (mostly surrogates) because Adelise doesn't want to be pregnant 100 times. (I'm bored if all my sims look the same. I want more genetic diversity.) But I'm not sure how it will be going forward. The next gen will come when most of the current one moves out.
@sarabeth2984 Kirk is cute! I like that he's friendly and talkative. I wonder what he tells his baby brother. Is he giving advice, telling about his own life or both or neither?
I like Melusine's feistiness. Picking fights isn't good, but it keeps things interesting.
I'm glad Lily learns to appreciate or maybe better understand her children once they get older.

Thanks for your comments about my save. Asher, my vampire founder, is not self-absorbed but he's "evil" and ambitious. Asher should be more like Barnaby. They both like the violin; Asher may be in for a divorce; he's surprisingly good with kids, so they have a lot in common, but I think Asher is too self-absorbed to be like Barnaby and reform probably isn't in his future.

@AlwaysAsking My heart aches a little for Don. I'm only on part 20, but I feel that if they're going to be together it should be because Don really wants to be with Thorne, not because he lacks options and is financially dependent.

I'm also not much of a builder (I like playing on smallish lots), but given Asher's aspirations, a palace fits. This is my most ambitious build project yet, so I hope it turns out well and I also hope it makes things more financially interesting for the Fiers. They have far too much money. Jessica & Kimberly did their first homework in the Oasis springs park.

But he is also a good guy & grilled hotdogs for lunch.

I love how my life is right now. My pregnancy is easier this time than it was the first time.

@hanuel oh sure thing, ha I see, he does have some nice genes to pass down even if he is old as graveyard dirt..or something ha, nice build it's amazing what you have so far. To help with the lag no matter what computer you have it might be helpful to have some empty spaces that only have a rug and maybe a painting don't try and fill the whole thing if you don't need to.

Okay finally caught up, so been working it is part time but the def of that has become very loose and while it hasn't been that long in a row it feels like it you get some very generous hours I don't think I"d last full time lol. Anyhoo working today then I'm supposed to have a bit of time off and pick up again.
That said here is a teeny tiny update Bob and Don part 6 on page 590
After her walk Don decided to bring Sammi over to Bob's house she was immediately curious about Iggy..maybe he smelled like bacon who knows.
Bob wasn't sure what to say Don looked so different and he found himself liking it a lot more than he thought he could being openly attracted to another man was still new enough but Don really took the cake there. It was no real surprise.
"So..." he started.
"I just wanted to see you, and I was wondering if you'll have enough room for the baby.." he still wasn't sure how to explain what he told his father and why.
"Well..."
"The baby will be in my room!" Iggy called from the kitchen.
Don laughed.
"That won't do.."
"It was his idea."
"Listen I was thinking maybe you guys could come live with us."
Bob gave him a look wondering why it was us, and not just him and Sammi, he just had a feeling.
"You and...your dog?"
"Well yeah...and my dad."
Bob was surprised, he hadn't met Don's father he didn't know he had any family around he felt a little bad they didn't know as much about one another as it seemed.
"I didn't know you lived with your father...he may not be so accepting" Don chuckled as he trailed off.
"Actually that was his idea...I told him you were expecting and such and he's a lawyer he might be able to help get some support from the father.."
"That would be nice but we don't have to come taking over..."
"It's hardly taking over babe." he said smoothly as Bob gave the smallest hint of the smile he liked being called that and he wasn't sure Don even caught himself saying it.
"But.."
"I want to help, be there I know how important your career is to you I have more free time even when I do work." Bob was taken aback by his proposal.
"That's very sweet of you but this isn't your responsibility."
"I know...and you know I'm not too smart but I believe that's called being kind, but you'll let me know wont you?" he teased as Bob laughed, it was a little too tempting.
It wasn't just a simple matter of hormones either why did he want to step up so badly when the baby's father wouldn't? It was just a different side to Don even if Bob didn't know what he might be walking into.
He looked up and grinned seeing Iggy wave a poster board with Just do it written on it, where had he gotten that? Was that what he was supposed to do his project on? He was going to have to go the store again.
"I...I'll think about it."
Don smirked.
"That's all I ask, I can see what you can do alone but then you don't have to be like that, I'm here."
Bob sighed, some relief, some affection it was just there and Don was too good.
"I know that now..."
Bob popped into the kitchen...cause pregnant and looked over he was having a hard time just standing there thinking Iggy seemed much more enthusiastic didn't all parents want to see that if the first partner or partners didn't work. He wasn't sure but it was nice to consider he just wondered if there was really room for all of them. As for what he told Hanson, well he'd mention that later.

She finished up another acting gig and then Dad (Brad Pitt) decided to take her on a short vacation retreat to Sulani to de-stress her and talk to her about the pitfalls of fame and fortune.

@RedDestiny92 Oh there's definitely something, I absolutely see it now! And it fits so well because I had no idea what to do with Peter for the next few sim-months (all of my plans for him are set for summer). Not saying it's gonna be the greatest love story written (or if it's going to be a love story at all) but it'll probably be on the cute side.

"Ocassionaly. He's cool. I keep forgetting to ask his phone number though. And Ned won't give it to me because she's jealous that she's not the only person in the entire universe he hangs out with."

"Thanks," Dwayne nodded and headed to the nearby table.
"I see that smile, Tony," Mele winked. "Something going on?"
"No, nothing... Just glad Peter's finally making friends. He never had any in Del Sol Valley."

"No, it's so much better..." Tony sighed. "Can't believe it took me this long to realise that..."
"Guess who came to visit!!"

All of the customers began to happily greet Steve.
"Good evening Steve," Mele smiled. "What brings you here?"
"Oh, just decided to go for a little walk with Morgan..."
"Obviously we had to check up on Daddy."
"How's work, honey?"
"Well, you know...the usual..."
"Hey baby girl! Missed me?"
"Oh you're just too precious for this world, aren't you!"
"Too precious - no. Too wild! Too courageous! Too outstanding!" Mele said.
"Well it can be all of those things too and still be precious..."
"Steve, Tony, you make fine parents and I love both of you but you know very little about raising a Sulani girl," Mele laughed.
"The poor child - why would you ever put a hat on her on such a warm and wonderful day... And it looks like someone is hungry, aren't I right?"
"Come along little one, aunt Mele will give you our finest fruits!"
"Yeeah, we're not feeding her solids yet..." Steve tried to reason with Mele but she wouldn't listen.
"Oh no worries, we'll start with the banana."
"Wait no- I'm serious Mele, do NOT give her anything you'll start an allergy or something else will go horribly wrong- Mele! Give me back my baby!"
"Go get her Steve!" Tony laughed.
The customers chuckled as they watched Steve vainly trying to save Morgan from getting her first solid food...
"MOOOM!"
Suddenly, the light and warm atmosphere was harshly broken by a high-pitched voice filled with anger and annoyance.
"There's no good candy here! This whole stupid island doesn't have the candy I want!! Why do we have to stay on this STUPID ISLAND!?"
"Well baby it's called vacation, I thought you liked the sea... Just choose something else..."
The little boy and his mother weren't from around. They moved a few days ago in the exact vacation house Tony used to rent a long time ago. A lot of locals seen them throughout the week. Usually on beaches. They came off as snobby, bratty and very self-absorbed. They looked down on the islanders and didn't even bother cleaning up their trash they left all across the beach. The locals gritted their teeth but said nothing. They were always patient with tourists. But these tourists were an exceptional pain to deal with.
"Do you want a cupcake baby?"
"NO! I want my Kit-Kat and they don't got any!!" the little boy wailed. "Those stupid people don't got any Kit-Kat!"
"Don't cry baby," the woman shifted her eyes on unsuspecting Tony. "Mommy will show them how to treat you like that..."
"Hey you!" she shouted. "You're the bartender here, right?"
"That me, ma'am-"
"First of all why aren't you wearing a uniform? How do you think I'm supposed to identify you in this crowd? Second - my boy is asking for Kit-Kat! So you tell me - why doesn't your shop have any Kit-Kat?"
"Besides the pastries Mele bakes herself we also have a list where customers can leave what they want to see in our cafe and once a month we order them from the city. No one ever requested Kit-Kat before so we don't have them," calmly explained Tony, taken slightly aback by the woman's harsh and demanding tone. "If you like, you can leave a request for Kit-Kat on the list and then we'll order them next week-"
"WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS!?" screamed the woman. "I don't care how everything here works!! If my little boy wants Kit-Kat you better GO GET HIM KIT-KAT!"
Tony flinched. His throat suddenly went dry.
"I'm sorry ma'am but that's really not possible..." he quietly said. Something was wrong. Something was very very wrong. Tony didn't know exactly what was wrong, but he knew one thing: he needed Steve. Now.
"Excuses excuses excuses... You can't even do what a customer asks you! I can't believe they hired you here. You're useless!"
You're useless... You're useless... Useless... the last words span round and round in Tony's head, every time sounding a little more like Nick. He started feeling dizzy.
"Ma'am please, if you could only wait a week-"
"Hey! I know you!" suddenly yelled the little boy. "You're Tony Stark!"
Tony flinched.
"No- No I'm not," he muttered, feeling sweat running down his forehead.
"Yeah you are!" the kid laughed. "They show you on the telly!"
"Don't be stupid baby, this man couldn't be Tony Stark," the woman smiled patronisingly. "He's just a bartender."
"A petty little bartender who can't even do the little work he has - that's what he is!"
"Now I'm filing a complaint on you! And I'll make sure your boss will fire you for being a lazy and disrespectful worker!"
Tony felt his legs weaken. He realised he had no idea what was going on. Is this Nick's place? Why isn't he acting or giving out autographs or sitting on another boring interview? Why is it so bright? He never turned on the lights. He stopped turning them on when Steve left...
A woman was yelling at him. Clearly, he did something wrong. Again.
"But I'm- I'm trying to be my best..." he whispered.
"Excuse me? Are you arguing with me!?" shrieked the woman. "You don't have the right to argue with me, I'm a customer! I'm always right!!! Your opinion here means NOTHING!"
Tony quickly shook his head. No arguing. No complaining. His opinion didn't matter - he remembered that very well.
"No, I'm not" he muttered, desperately hoping the woman would believe him and stop screaming so hard it hurt his ears. "I'm-I'm not. No arguing, no complaining, no arguing, no complaining, It's all for my own good, all for my own g-"
"What is WRONG with you!?" yelled the woman. Tony shuddered and silenced.
"First you can't give my little baby the candy he wants, then you're getting in an argument with a customer, now you're trying to get me off your back so I don't write a complaint on you!!"
"Please, I'm sorry... I'm really sorry I argued," Tony whispered timidly. "I'll do better next time."
"Oh of course you'll say that! You'll say anything to keep this job because clearly you're so arrogant and useless you won't be getting any other one!"
"Please don't tell Nick."
"So this Nick is your boss? Oh, I'm telling him alright. I'm telling him about EVERYTHING and I'll make sure he kicks you out!"
"Please don't, he'll be really mad..."
"Oh I hope he will! Hand me the complaint book! NOW!"
Tears started running down Tony's face and he buried it in his trembling hand. He didn't understand what the woman wanted him to do, he didn't understand what was going on, he didn't understand where he was and how he ended up here. The only thing in all of this that made sense were the harsh words the woman said about him. She was right: he's useless. Always was, always will be.
"Oh great, here come the waterworks," the woman rolled her eyes. "Aren't you even ashamed of yourself? You're a grown man and crying! You disgust me."
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I know I'm not being my best, I should be my best but I'm not! I didn't mean for any of this to happen... Please, please don't tell Nick..."
"Hey! Where do you think you're going! I still need that complaint book!"
"Well suit yourself," the woman smirked. "I'll just wait till your boss comes out."
"Oh my goodness," whispered one of the islanders. None of them were able to speak a word, shocked with the woman's behaviour.
"What have she done to Tony... What are we going to do?"
"We need to get Steve. Quick."
"Already on it."
"Seriously Mele, Morgan's not ready for solids yet!"
"Oh she's not ready for anything in your book," Mele laughed. "Let her have her first challenge!"
"How is she supposed to chew? Her teeth are only starting to grow!"
"Guys. You need to come, quick."
"Oh hey Dwayne-" Steve frowned, noticing how worried Dwayne looked. "What's wrong?"
Dwayne took a deep breath.
"It's Tony."
"I think he's having a panic attack."
