I just went to mypage and saw that the Lap of Luxury badge is showing up now! That's so weird. The game's been opened for a few hours, and sometime in the middle of playing, the badge decided to show up. I hope that means it's happening for other people, too! TenderWolf, I can't imagine how frustrated you must be at this point. It was tough for me just dealing with Gratified Gifter and knowing I'd gone far past the 30 gifts with multiple sims. I have no idea why it finally worked, it makes no sense. Hopefully, Russkii or someone else with EA will have an answer soon.

That would certainly be nice. Yeah, I'm beyond frustrated. Some of these badges take a lot of time, and I, along with several others I'm sure, have a full-time job and real life things to tend to. Is it really so much to ask that such a minor feature of the game work properly? Again, these badges are the only way we can customize our pages now that they've become Facebook clones...that, and uploaded avatars.
Also, I've been meaning to report yet another issue - I can't get the badges I don't have to trigger even when I earn them, but ones I've already gotten trigger in the game AGAIN! Oh, and two of them that I previously earned have now vanished from my page - they've got the dreaded red X over them, like the picture is no longer working. I think other people mentioned having issues with these badges as well - Winter Schminter and Bottomless Stomach. I earned those months ago, like back when Seasons first came out, and now they're gone. Great job once again, EA.../facepalm
:? Just checked mine, TenderWolf, and the two you mentioned are blank (and Winter Schminter is still appearing twice, but two white boxes without pictures now *sigh*) and Prize Winner is also blank. So four total that I've noticed so far. I'm almost afraid to page back further lol

I have an issue with the "Have a Mermaid Baby" - Plenty of Fish in The Sea achievement badge.
I so far had 3 mermaid babies (two boys from a human father mom mermaid and 1 girl from 2 mermaid parents), but the achievement never triggered. It's not showing up in my thesims3.com website badges.
I do not use CC or mods, they were never installed on my computer.
I started a new game with new Sims on Isla Paradiso.
I use Windows 7 64 bit and Firefox (patched)
My game is patched to the most recent version.
Could it matter that baby mermaids were NOT born in the hospital?

Some badges has triggered and appeared on my page since I installed IP on Friday the 28 June. But some badges are triggering in my game but not showing up on my page.
Just one example:
Plenty of fish in the sea (Have a mermaid baby)
Internet connection working fine, cleared cache's, etc.
Yep, it's official - none of the Island Paradise badges are working like they're supposed to. I'm not even going to try any more because I'll just get frustrated and possibly homicidal (I might burn a Sim to death or something)...again, can't they have things work just ONCE before releasing it to the public? On top of that, I don't see that the guru who owns this thread has even looked at it in days, if not weeks, so how do we know the issues are even being looked into?...

i have a Long time Problems with the Gratified Gifter i send always more than 30 and never get it... i reinstalled my game 3 times and i tried it on another Computer... (no mods in game)

Ok, it would seem that the badges are working properly (for the moment anyway). All of the ones that I've unlocked in game are now showing up on My Page as well. All except the Hermit Crab one, and the "team" apparently has not put that one back into the mix, even though I already achieved & unlocked it. Here are pics of My Page & my in game lists to show what I'm talking about. These were taken yesterday, Tues 7-2-13. As of this morning, My Page looks the same. I'm about to go in game & check that out as well. I spent a great deal of yesterday building a new Spanish Resort so I didn't work on my remaining 2 badges, "Born Explorer" & "High-Class Hotel". Will be working on these today. Hopefully all will go smoothly for a change but I won't hold my breath, (unlike my sims, I don't have "lungs of steal"), lol.
The two incomplete ones on My Page are the same as the incomplete ones in game:
--Born Explorer
--High-Class Hotel
Do I Dare to hope that the last 2 will unlock when I actually "achieve" them this time? :?

I've been working on some of the IP badges & am experiencing the problem where in game it says I unlocked the "Sole Survivor" badge but it's not appearing as unlocked on "my page". I put a fire pit down on my Sims lot and made sure it was set to scorching and had them walk across successfully many times and still the badge won't appear on "My Page-Badges". Any help would be appreciated. :P

I think I've stumbled across a possible reason why some of us are not seeing things being updated on our My Pages. The site keeps telling me that I last visited on Sunday, 6-30-13 at 5:15pm. This is not true as I have made other posts to other threads on all of the last 3 days, including right here in this forum, earlier today. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

Lucky you guys...I STILL can't get anything to unlock. Cleared caches, new games/Sims, no cc/mods, perfect Internet connection, all requirements, you name it. I didn't even use any cheats (not even testingcheatsenabled true!). This is so effin ridiculous I'm about to throw up. Just...UGH! I have never been more mad at this stupid website than I am now!
Good find Mimi! It would sort of make sense that the site doesn't recognize a badge before it's earned. I mean, if I earned a badge on July 1 but the site has me as last logging in on June 29, my badge is from the future. Or something like that lol Anyway, you're very smart with all this sim stuff! You've sure helped me out a lot!

Thanks eilian. Yeah, it's very frustrating, especially since my page is full of people who are all getting theirs now and I can't...not even a simple Sole Survivor one. It's ridiculous and there's no excuse for it. And no, The Sims 4 is NOT an excuse...just because they're in a hurry to release that game (that not as many people are excited about as they'd think, I'm sure) is no reason to let the current game die in any way. They keep releasing all this new stuff but come on, how are we supposed to fully enjoy it all if a new game is on the horizon, plus the current one is so full of bugs it's virtually unplayable? /facepalm
As for a Sim Guru sorting things out. I'm not holding my breath; Russkii hasn't checked this thread in weeks (or if she has she hasn't bothered to reply), so for all we know nothing is getting worked on. And I, like several others, am still waiting for the three wrongfully removed Supernatural badges to be restored to my account. Oh, and the two that I'd earned that were on my page but that now have broken pictures, as though I didn't get those either... :evil:
I have tried something on my game and seems to be working for me. I cannot say it will work for others who try for the badges. I have taken(cut) all the files in my sims 3 folder found under documents and saved it on an external hard drive. Then launched the game with no installed store content. Completely Vanilla game. Tried going towards each badge individually. As my previous post shows the badge for juice cruise did trigger in game but not on my page. So I just went back to my sims 3 folder and deleted the new files that was created automatically by launching again. I started a new game and just worked on juice cruise badge and it triggered again in game and on my page this time. I know that once a badge is triggered in game a person cannot 'try' for it again. So by having the game create new files within the sims 3 folder I was able to try for the badges again and again and seems to be working. Have now deleted the files that was created for the juice cruise badge and will be launching today to try for the last two badges remaining for me. Once they 'fix' Hermit Crab I will work on that one. No point now because I have done the action of moving my single sim household to a hidden island a few times now and although it triggers in game every time nothing on my page.

SimGuruRusskii, I spend quite a bit of my time working on Sims 3 Achievements while I am on duty at the fire station for 24 hours. I use a high end gaming laptop with quad i7 processors and dual graphics processors (8 GB EACH) and I have a persistent Internet connection via dedicated 4G cellular Hotspot.
I was working on several Achievements last night, and I unlocked the fifth hidden island and "Born Explorer" failed to trigger.
When I got to Plunder Cove, I opened my seventh treasure chest and "Treasure Hunter" failed to trigger though I only needed five chests.
Now, this isn't so much a question about the Achievements themselves, but I did note that I was constantly getting online notification messages as Sim players on my friend's list posted, or their friends responded to their posts. I wondered how much this steady stream of online notifications impacted the Achievements?
I've noticed that in the in-game Options menu, the Online tab has a checkbox for "Enable Online Notifications."
If I uncheck this checkbox while I am close to knowingly finishing an Achievement, it clearly reduces the post notification traffic, but will that impact my ability to complete the Achievement? (It appears that I am still logged in and connected but I wasn't sure if this affected Achievements via Electronic Arts' servers?)
I'm having the same issue with Winter Schminter and Bottomless Stomach. I have two of each badge on my page - one is greyed out as incomplete, the other has a red X error box so you can't see the badge. Again, no excuse for this...The Sims 4 is NOT an excuse to let the current game lapse...if anything, that will hurt your sales more than excite players because they're going to get so fed up with the problems in this game that they won't want to deal with them in a while new game. And the lack of communication from the admins on this thread doesn't help restore confidence in the paying customers - it doesn't tell us that the issues are being heard or looked into.
The Sims 4, I will not buy. I would like my badge and thus my side and my Wall functioning properly again. I drag the error farther and longer around with me and who knows maybe it will eventually nothing more. And I want to avoid this by my mistakes are corrected at my badge. I hope you can find solutions.

and ... I didn't get the badge. I didn't get the "loading" circle either, so I don't believe the badge achievement was even triggered.
What can I do?

We have often tried. She was there and had their performance. The badge is not generated.
My friends got the stamp, I do not have one.
