Okay...I've tried EVERYTHING to earn this darn badge...even the master controller mod and instant baby because someone suggested trying that. This is ridiculous. I can still get Exercise in Fertility to trigger and I already had earned that one back in February, but I didn't go for Head of the Family at the same time. GURUS FIX THIS! It is one of the last badges I have to earn... :evil:
I understand if it won't work with the mod, but fix it so it works with the time consuming way!!!! I tried the long real way multiple times in multiple saves in multiple towns with multiple new saves every save was new. I also tried with a new challenge data package. NO MODS installed only EA Store Content and NOTHING!!! FIX IT!!!!
I have the Walking on the firepit badge done in game and it shows as completed but it does not show as completed on MyPage Badges. It is the only badge that I ahve completed that does not show as completed.
Yay, new issue - everyone's avatars is an X. That's great, really. Maybe I should have gone into programming...maybe then someone at EA would know what they were doing.
And I'm still waiting for the IP badges to be fixed for everyone. It's stupid that even one as simple as walking on a fire pit won't trigger. The ones you actually have to work really hard for (like collecting seashells due to their stupid small spawn rate) are even more frustrating because you go to all that work with nothing to show for it. FIX THIS!!!

I'd been holding off on the Hermit Crab badge because it's a fairly easy one to get and it wasn't live on mypage yet so didn't want to risk messing it up. For the first time, my in-game achievements tab is grayed out. I know this is pointless, but another reason I left Hermit Crab is because I like scrolling thru the badges under that tab. lol Anyway, the HC badge must have been removed in-game rather than being fixed on mypage, or maybe mine's just glitched.
Also, all of my store badges are missing again. No big deal right now but wanted to let a guru know.

Some of my achievements arent showing up after I complete them on my page. And I was having problems with the one where you get a book moderator sim to write a novel because it wasn't triggering. Any advice on what to do? I want to get my achievements completed.
Hi I seem to be having a problem with the world is your oyster badge I have had multiple sims collected 25 or more shells and still have not received the badge and the other thing is the count is different in the skill journal compared to the colletion journal.

The badges are majorly messed up in several ways. I got the others you mentioned, but not Sole Survivor, and I've literally done it at least 50 times (and gotten the moodlet). New games, new Sims, no mods, no cheats, nothing, and still...yep, nothing. Ridiculous that the programming is so bad that certain badges work for some people but not all. We players can't even help each other out because we don't know which badges work for who. At least if one doesn't work for multiple people, it's a safe guess that it's broken. But this...ugh!

I lost a lot of achievements that I completed...
One of them is "10 to the 4th Simoleons" - Earn 10,000 Simoleons by correlating Scientific Data.
I spend DAYS for this achievement... I can still find it on my page but not ingame...
I also lost other "difficult" but also "easy" achievements ingame...
I hoped that if I would patch to 1.55 or install Island Paradise, it would be fixed but it didn't helped unfortunately...
Can I just ask another question while you are checking on the badge situation. When I first joined The Sims Community I sent off Requests to add as Friend to a few people. I notice there are 6 still showing in the Pending Sent Requests on my page. Is there any way to delete these as they have been there for a long time now.

I think if you go to your MyPage and click Friends, there should be an option in there somewhere to delete a pending request. I could be wrong though.

I notice there are 6 still showing in the Pending Sent Requests on my page. Is there any way to delete these as they have been there for a long time now.

Not really. Unfortunately that is not something my page has and never shipped with. It is on my list to ask to be built, but that is pending I can have that work taken (which means balancing all other requests and requirements with my peers).

I choose a normal font size, because I believe that it is also read.
Once again, I had to complete all badges (4 Piece I had received only ingame).
Now I have 101,5% ...........lol...............

Yes, Hermit Crab was removed.
Thank you. I'm glad someone cares...I don't know that EA does at all due to the lack of responses in all of SGR's threads.
And yeah, they did remove Hermit Crab, though we were told (falsely) that it was fixed and put back. But it appears that isn't the case (shocker).
My badges are now showing up, yay, Don't know what you and your team did but it worked.
