Do you have any CC? That would be my first guess considering the recent skintone patch. I know a lot of skins were causing conflicts, if you're using any type of skin or skin details I'd check to see if those could be the problem first. Otherwise, best case solution for weeding out problematic mods is the 50/50 method.…
I don't necessarily agree with this in relation to the Sims 4. Sure with a game like say The Witcher 3, it's not a game that's created to be constantly changed and updated for years to come. You purchase it because you like it or are interested in it for what it is and hope that the developers fix any bugs or nuisances you…
So we are just supposed to rely on the modding community to fix every shortfall this game has? I don't think so...this also doesn't help people who refuse or simply don't like to use mods in their game.
I'd have to say I'm in the same boat as @Pary , I thought this was something that had been in the game for as long as I can remember. I always seen it in the night sky.... I see it a tiny bit on the fridge but it does not bother me tbh and I don't see anything on my sims. Then again I have lighting mods and CC so idk if…
Man, I wish the Sims team would have done something similar to this. The constantly smiling and the lack of unique sims and emotions have been a struggle in my enjoyment in this game from the beginning. I need 4 different personality mods in this game alone to make the game even somewhat enjoyable for me. While we may all…
Gosh, I really really hope so. It is one of the main things that keeps me from loving and enjoying this game. And I really want to be able to. But I also agree with what others have said, they’ll have to do it in the right way or it will be pointless.
Did you make sure the game was recognizing your graphics card? Did you enable VSYNC? Did you cap the framerate? Because yes, the game can perform poorly on a high-end machine if you don't do these things. I mean...lag in CAS? Really? I've played on terrible laptops when I didn't know any better and still never experienced…
I use the retexture catalogue that @ZeeGee linked. I'm also guilty of paying for TSR *shrug* lol Also Lana CC finds on Tumblr. You can find literally almost anything.
I saw what you wrote before you felt the need to edit your comment. I'm not defending anything. Just stating a fact. If you feel that people stating their reasons for disliking something and wanting improvements is toxic, that's unfortunate. Because that is how games become better. You say you hate "toxic" people and…
I looked at the comments and honestly, 95% of it is people talking about how they dislike the rebrand and are wishing for bug fixes/a better game. Most people aren't even being rude about it...just saying. Anyway, I play the Sims because it's fun. I like creating different sims and seeing what they get up to/how they live…
This is my exact issue with the game. The sims themselves are just so...dull. They are all the same because their personalities are dictated by emotions and not by their traits. There are so few jobs, traits, and aspirations anyway, starting a new family never feels like a new experience. I have my game so heavily modded…
I'm really liking the new look actually. The CAS story mode seems interesting but like it would get old fast, in my opinion, especially since there are so few traits, aspirations, and careers to begin with. I just really hope that they soon do something about that and with the Sims themselves. I see the picture of the new…
My post was pretty chill, I don't think I'm the one that needs to calm down lol. But thanks for the advice, I already know where to post about bugs though ;)
I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Any feature of a game that doesn't work the way it's intended is game-breaking, especially in the Sims where there are so many different ways to play. A broken feature that you never use might not matter to you, but the next simmer over can't play their game at all because this feature is…
I use Fresh Blue by Brntwaffles which adds a really nice realistic touch to the sims lips, I think. It's one of my favorite aspects of the skin. Here are a couple of un-edited photos of my sims with the skin...
I do usually, but not in these pictures, besides Gelina's lighting tweaks which only affect how bright it is and shadows. I usually flip flop between Clear and Bright Weather by Potato Ballad and Uranesian Weather by Nilxis. I also slightly edit my photos for my blog so that makes the colors pop a bit more!
