  • So is this a known issue with EA?
  • I use "Command" "Option" "ESC" to force close.
  • I recently tried this and it worked great to reinstall the game, but I just couldn't get my Store content reinstalled. No mater what I did, I continued to get an error. Any suggestions on how to fix this.
  • I just stared a new Challenge: The Starving Artist to Superstar Challenge, and I am recording it as a Let's Play for my YouTube Channel. Here is a link to episode 1. And here is a link the rules for the challenge, as well as the rules right here. I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know if you decide to start your own…
  • I had an issue with my game after this update, but I don't know if it was the update that caused it. What I did was I moved my game folder to my desktop and the let the folder regenerate. I the imported my saves, tray and mods back into the new folder and everything worked fine.
  • I have had the same problem, when I try to save a sim to my gallery it doesn't show up. OMG! I think I have 15 of the same Sim saved. LOL! At least I know that my Sims are not lost forever. Thank you!
  • @virginblue4‌ I have had this glitch a number of times. Usually what has worked for me in the past is to clear game cache and then restart the game. Sometimes it starts if you place the refrigerator in a spot that can't be accessed, but even if you move it that doesn't always fix the problem. Clearing the game cache seems…
  • @bluebellflora Okay I did some testing last night and I think I have gotten it to work. I had more than 20 package files in my Mod folder and I think that might have been my main problem. I am trying to figure out how to modify the resources.cfg file so that it will accept more files. I am looking into this in another…
  • What would you change in the Resources.cfg file once you open it text editor? EDITED: Sorry, I think I was thinking this was a different problem. I thought you could correct the problem with more than 20 packages by editing the Resources.cfg file.
  • @bluebellflora I will try the repair game and see what happens. Thanks. Edited: I tried the game repair and that didn't work.
  • @bluebellflora Okay, I copied just my "Saves" folder and the "Tray" folder over from the Bootcamp and ran the game again, that seemed to do it. I was able to get in and run a save from the PC side and I could see all the downloaded items in "My Gallery". I am still having the issue where the game crashes at start up, but…
  • @bluebellflora Well there are a lot more than just my saved Sims. I wouldn't want to have to go back through and re-download all the other lots that I have gotten from the gallery. And I had read somewhere that in order to bring over the saves all you had to do was copy the user folder from the PC/Bootcamp and paste it…
  • @BluebellFlora‌ Well, I wanted to also get the Saved Sims, and saved lots that I have downloaded from the gallery.
  • I have just copied my entire Sims 4 folder from the BootCamp/Windows side of my computer and overwrote the one that was created on install. I have not been able to get any of my saves to play. I can load them, but as soon as I click play from the world screen they got to a loading screen and then the game crashes. Overall…
  • In addition, the sound never boots up right. I always have to hit Command +Tab to get out of the game and then go back in. Once I do that the sound works fine. Mac model (Late-2013 15"-Retina MacBook Pro) Processor (2.6 GHz Intel Core i7) Memory (16Gb RAM 1600 MHZ DDR3) Graphics (Intel Iris Pro 1536 mb) Operating System…
  • The first time after restarting that I open Sims 4 on my MAC I get the following error. When I try to open it a second time I get a messages saying that it didn't open the last time do I still want to open. When I click yes the game starts and everything seems to work find. I get a similar message when starting Sims 3, but…
  • @figwit I might just have to copy the entire folder as well. I was hoping to be able to segregate the different files just in case I play on the PC side and the MAC side. I will probably only test on the MAC side for awhile until the bugs are worked out.
  • @luthienrising Thanks, wouldn't it be nice if the files showed the names like Sims 3
  • I was never able to comfortable use my Magic Mouse with Sims 3 so I just bought a USB mouse with a center scroll wheel to use specifically with Sims.
  • Where is this file located?
  • I would like to be able to sort my CC into folders as well. I don't have any script mods right now, but I don't like having all my CC cluttering up my Mods folder.
  • What does this mean exactly? I don't think I modified my .sgr file, but I copied my Sims 4 folder from my Bootcamp and just dumped into the Sims 4 folder MAC. I thought that was what I needed to do in order to get all my saves over to my MAC side. HELP.
  • One more question, is it possible to add buffs to NPCs?
  • @rosemow also I thought it was possible to inflect the mortified buff as well
  • @rosemow, that buff change worked sims.add_buff social_angry Is it possible to inflected the dazed buff with a cheat code?
  • @rosemow I just isn't working for me. I turned on testingcheats and typed exactly what you have Sims.add_buff AngryHigh and it just doesn't work, the only angry I have ever been able to do is sims.add_buff e_buff_angry I think the only other one I have tried with high or low is confident sims.add_buff confidenthigh
  • I had started a new thread, but thought I would post this here as well. I have been struggling with this for some time now and I just don't know what I am doing wrong. I want to be able to add or remove certain buffs from my characters, but it just isn't working. I have successfully removed all buffs, but I can add certain…
  • I started a Legacy Let's Play on my YouTube Channel. TinaLovesSims I currently only have two episodes, but I plan to record the next episode tonight or tomorrow.
  • I didn't have a problem running my game, but I did make the mistake of not doing all the windows updates and had to delete my Bootcamp partition and start over again. Once I did this I made sure to do all the windows updates immediately after installing windows. Now, everything seems to be running so much better.
