  • lol where do you all live that your teens wear sundresses and no make up. Normally teen fashion is more daring and risqué. But I agree, teens at the moment are rather bland. Their bodies usually look disfigured due to the thinner frame. I really think the age system needs an overhaul to be honest. Everything is fine from…
  • That's good. I don't like my sims to have kids until they are nearing the end of young adulthood or the beginning of Adulthood (unless they have an "accident") I actually reduced the toddler and child life span by about 8 days in total using the MCCC mod to try and even out the ages. Tbh I think I will keep it like that…
  • Don't worry, no one is asking you or forcing you to use it....you don't need to refuse :)
  • I should say as well, I'm running my game on a MacBook pro. Nothing special in terms of gaming. The story progression runs fine on my game, I haven't had any issues. So it can't be because EA wanted to make this game budget PC friendly as possible. (I know a MacBook pro isn't budget friendly but its not build for gaming…
  • There are some great houses in the gallery. The problem I find is they are usually built more for aesthetics rather than gameplay. Rooms are too small, awkwardly laid out, too much stuff in the rooms. Objects are in the way whatever camera angle you use. I try to build houses that are some what nice too look at but also…
  • I'm a detail oriented person so I do it all the time. To the point it might be over the top. For example my young adult free spirit sim might have long hair and wear a beanie but now she is in the Business career and just got promoted she goes for a smarter haircut. If her everyday hair has bangs and I want her hair tied…
  • I feel like people complaining about his reviews don't actually watch them. Clint is extremely fair in his reviews. Lets take his review for the bowling pack as an example. His main complaint was that a game pack dedicated to bowling (which would normally be tagged onto an expansion pack) is lacking in bowling type…
  • The Sims 2 with improved graphics, open world and seamless aging. That would be my dream Sims 5!
  • If EA have any sense they will learn from their mistakes with Sims 4 and listen to their fans when going to create Sims 5. Alas more realistically they will see the lacklustre performance as a reason to invest less time and money into the sims creating and even more watered down game than the sims 4
  • I've said this before but the sims 4 has always felt like a skill building simulator to me. Everything seems to have some kind of skill bar attached to it and the game play just feels "samey" and repetitive
  • And I'm not talking about them coming out as a Stuff pack. They better be part of a free update, i am truly done with the sims if they try and charge for toddlers or any other missing base game content. My point is rather than putting resources into pointless stuff packs and trying to squeeze every penny from loyal fans…
  • More garden stuff? Seriously? Id rather they spent more time and resources working on things missing from the base game...like i don't know....toddlers? NPCS?
  • EA fridges do not include the cooling ability. They decided its better to spend time focusing new features such as fridge on wheels. Update 7: Breaks have finally been added to wheels due to several incidences of fridges rolling across the room. EA can still not confirm or deny if a cooling feature will be added in a…
  • The goals are ridiculous. I had my sims go on a date to a restaurant and one of the goals was talk 3 times about your meal. Seriously?
  • This is a little restaurant/cafe I built called "the garden shed". Just a little outdoor/courtyard restaurant. If anyone is interested its on the gallery under "THE GARDEN SHED" or my user name is "origionalgreen"
  • @cheesetruck Hilarious! Its like a real Mcdonalds at 4am. People passed out drunk on the floor, some crazy person with no top on...and well doesn't everyone leave McDonalds with some sadness/regret :D
  • Yeah thats a good idea actually, then your manages good priorities a table for you vip guests
  • It's actually pretty easy to work your way up to 5 stars. I did it in few gameplay hours. Just remember to adjust your prices as you go. Sims don't mind if you raise the price of food if you have high star rating. I didn't put up my prices a lot and by the time I was 5 star I was barely profitable
  • Nope, I don't anyway. No mods, no CC
  • I do miss the reactions of the sims 1 and 2. First of all when they would run around reacting to a new item. The dramatic "uh uhh" when you bought them a cheap item lol. I'd be like i know girl but thats all we can afford until you get that promotion. The thing about sims 1 and 2 was they acted like you were there and they…
  • There are times where my entire restaurant will descend into chaos. Half the restaurant will stand around one table talking, while there is another huge gathering of sims at the podium waiting to be seated. My manager sim obviously felt the need to work of some of her frustration. I feel ya Gurl
  • There have definitely been some scandalous pairings turning up at my Restaurant. Bella Goth and Bob Pancakes, Dominic Fryes with Dina Caliente then Moira turned up with Mortimer. Its a town full of Swingers :p
  • I posted this already in another forum but anyway here is the first little restaurant I built. It's your typical neighbourhood restaurant. Once a small little cottage it was converted and given a little glass extension out the back to overlook the gardens. At night time I keep the lights dim and tinted to make it more…
  • [/quote] Love this one, definitely want to build a little outdoor/courtyard restaurant now.
  • Yeah i'm making about 800 profit a day now, I was only making a 100 - 200 profit with a 5 star and I realised I had to really up the prices of food. The thing is my staff are unsatisfied and want promotions so to counteract that Im going to have up prices again. They are at about 200% now but I haven't any complaints so I…
  • Just so you know went back and tested today. I set it to disallow new customers at 7 pm and I still had new customers arriving at 1 am
  • @SimGuruNinja I have noticed a lot of people are saying that they are having the disallow bug. It could well be that a lot of sims have spawned on my lot and thats why I kept getting so many sims coming in to my restaurant. I disallowed new customers at 10pm and was still getting customers at 4am and had some very angry…
  • This is the first little restaurant I built. It's your typical neighbourhood restaurant. Once a small little cottage it was converted and given a little glass extension out the back to overlook the gardens. At night time I keep the lights dim and tinted to make it more atmospheric. I had to delete the bar stools from the…
  • So far for me its a bit of a mess. Some stay seated but I had other sims sanding and eating and another moving from the bar to the table with their meal. This was just a few hours of my rest. being open.
