No, not really which is unfortunate because this is the only expansion pack that I was really looking forward to. In comparison to The Sims 3 pets, this is a big no. This expansion seriously lacks items for dogs and it seems to be just focused on cats. When I first jumped into the game and looked into the new items, I was…
Yeah and that's what I love about TS2. It's challenging and although it gets a bit frustrating, it's still fun and adds more realism in the game. Seems like your Sim is going to be forever alone :p
Yeah, I'm definitely going to pay $10 just to do laundry in the game. On a serious note, the concept is nice but I won't be buying it. They should have added laundry in a free update just like they did with toddlers. It kind of reminds me of the "Fitness Stuff pack".. you are basically paying $10 just for a climbing wall…
Understandable. I'll wait until I get the money then. Thank you so much for your help. Without this discussion, I would have probably gone off to buy a "not so good" gaming PC.
I live in Ireland and I have already been looking for gaming PCs around here but they all exceed €1,000. I shop at Amazon most of the times because I always get a great bargain. You can take a look at my options though. http://www.pcworld.ie/category/gaming-pcs/397.0.2 https://www.custompc.ie/ I haven't looked at the last…
I don't live in the UK unfortunately. The price is basically set and I'm aiming to reach 800+ euro to afford all of this unless I can manage to find a cheaper alternative. For now, I think I'll just stick to that goal and see what comes up in the following months. :)
It'll cost me €760.03 with the shipping. I guess it's not so bad. And including the monitor, that'll total to €800+. Yikes! Thanks for all the help though, appreciate it! :)
Oh, right. Luckily, I'm not really interested in playing more powerful games because I know that would cost me a fortune. I prefer to play games like Witcher, Battlefield etc on the PS4 because it's handier. The only goal I am aiming to achieve is to be able to play GTA V on medium settings at least. I don't want to expect…
OH god.. that's impressive! Hahahah that is a lot of money... and so does your computer basically run any game on high/ultra settings smoothly? Games like GTA V, Battlefeld 1, The Witcher 3 etc? If only.. if only I could invest in that :D
Yeah, I just realized I was missing a CPU cooler. Anyways, I contacted Chesterbigbird so I'll see where that goes from here. If you don't mind me asking, what specs does your gaming PC have? And for how much did you buy it for?
Thanks, I'll message her and ask for some help. I don't know how to build my own PC but my brother offered to help me. He built his own gaming PC a year ago I believe and he is overall a big specs, hardware, and computer enthusiast so I'm sure I can rely on him to build it for me. I've heard that building your own gaming…
Oh, that's pretty costly. Even more costly when I transfer the pounds to euro and then include the shipping costs. I was thinking something along these lines. Monitors are cheap where I live so I will have no problem buying one. How about these? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XyWkNN…
Ohhhh okay. Do you have any recommendations for a good gaming PC? I've been looking a lot recently but I'm not really good at picking out specs that are manageable for gaming so I'm a bit lost. My budget is around €300-€580.
That just reminds me of that one time when my friend had seasons, IP, ITF & another expansion pack I can't remember installed on her laptop (same laptop as mine rn) and she could run the game with no problem. She complained of lag every now and then and some FPS drops when her mermaid sim would swim in the water but…
Oh? That's a bit shocking as I have been using that website for over a year now. :/ Sure, I'll check out tech but do you know any websites that give accurate information regarding specs & requirements?
Have you tried "Can you RUN it" by System requirements lab? You should try that and I've also been using "game-debate" because I wanted to pick a PC that would be able to play demanding games like GTA V etc.
True, it gets a bit puzzling. I'm in the grey area for the base game but everything has been going well ever since I bought the Sims so I think I am good to go. It's also pretty impressive since my laptop is over 2-3 years old and it can run the game at 65-90 FPS on medium settings. I guess that is straining my laptop a…
Yeah, unfortunately, it isn't. I wasn't really expecting much because I've had numerous problems with Sims 3 Pets on this laptop too. At least I can run Sims 4 and it isn't really straining my laptop as it reaches over minimum requirements. I think I'll either buy the EP and see if it runs on this laptop okay-ish and if it…
I think I'll recreate my dog first which means I'll be creating a Yorkie and then I will probably create a German Shepherd because they are my favorite breed. Or I'll just do what @DoloresGrey said and I'll create lots and lots of Dalmatians for the fun of it. :D
It's more realistic and better because in real life we don't control our pets. I personally found Sims 2 pets way better than Sims 3 pets and I'm happy that they won't be controllable but I don't think I would mind too much if they were.
Are these specs good enough to run the expansion pack? Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3217U CPU @ 1.80GHz. RAM: 8.00GB Video graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 --- I'll be upgrading to a PC next year and the specs will be: Processor: Intel Pentium G4560 @ 3.5GHz CPU RAM: 8.00GB Video graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 2GB…
You Got:34% cat person and 66% dog person! You are a dog person! You love coming home from work and being tackled by your fave buddy, and seeing a dog on the street makes your day. You should absolutely get a dog if you haven't got one already. I only have one dog and his name is Cookie. He's a yorkie (Yorkshire terrier)…
