Yay a new page, I went and played some more and so that means something else to post.
It was fairly early but Cassie decided to get some time in with her friends to welcome a new member...as I thought I added him already and forgot. Isn't Wolfie cute?
Wolfgang fits right in immediately while Malcolm is much too snooty even if he does come when invited.
At home Alex couldn't help but use his soccer ball in the house once again after inviting Jason over to play, though it was a short visit as he had to go to drama club Cassie entertained him a bit by teasing him until she asked Wolfgang to meet her somewhere. She was moody at the park even with him being oddly upbeat, guess he just likes being around her. She still had a good time and gave him a copy of the pic she took of them.
Later I moved to Andrew's house to get his kids homework done and take care of their nightly needs he took a nap and decided to call Bella hoping she would come by. she was thrilled to see him, he got her to humor him a bit and they relaxed on the swings while his kids were asleep, though there was only so much stress relief there.
"You really invited me for this?"
"What? Doesn't paying my bills and taking care of my kids by myself mean I get to be a kid sometimes too?"
She laughed, though he did offer freedom Mortimer never could, she guessed it was a simple request and he was far too cute when he pouted, they were swinging until he felt a little sick. I had to switch houses to continue on and he changed clothes, getting a touch more comfortable before he asked if she could stay, Jason told him all about her daughter surely one night babysitting would be okay. Despite herself Bella agreed.
"You're beautiful in the moonlight."
"That was a little too corny Andy."
"You still smiled, so deal with it." he got a laugh and a kiss then.
As nice as it was waking up next to him and quick kisses Bella's reality was sinking all too soon, she couldn't be doing this, though it wasn't Mortimer she was worried about hurting which she guessed made her feel a little bad she was really going to have to let Andrew go. He coughed a bit apologizing for his lack of morning readiness she could only smile bitterly and tell it it was time to talk.
I left her there to do some work for the pancakes, Bob isn't really cut out for this student stuff but seeing how lively it had his wife he was making do even with work, and a baby.
I thought they timed it right his class ended and then Eliza's started but he had another class, leaving Julia home alone..I guess the cat is watching her.
Bouncing from day to day with class, no good for Eliza but she's doing her best she'll have to remember to give her daughter a goodnight kiss and crash until she was seventy.
Things are working out for them at least....I really love this nonsense mmhmm.

Thorne decided that enough was enough. Dash was getting way too close to Don. Just when he, Thorne, had the chance to put his plan in action, some other guy sinks his claws into Don.
So he followed Don again, this time, no disguise. He just had to hope that Don wasn’t off to meet Dash somewhere. Thorne lucked out. Don went to the Romance Festival, alone ….
He’d evaluated the techniques that Don used on his prey. He couldn’t possibly use the sugary one Don used on Dash, Don knew his voice. He couldn’t use the forward one, and grab his hands and kiss them. That would be way too weird. He couldn’t use the concerned helpful one, because Don would know that Thorne knew he was fine.
That left one choice, and this was his chance now, he couldn’t waste it. ”Don!” Thorne excitedly said, “Hey, how cool to run into you! What are you doing down here?” Thorne had to use the joking, fun loving method. But not blow it by propositioning Don too quickly; like Don had done to Steve Stark. Work into it slowly, he reminded himself.
Don looked dazed, “Hey, yeah, cool. I’m just hanging out,” he answered.

“I gotta show you something super funny, I just found it on YouTube,” Thorne said as he whipped out his phone and showed Don a video of a very popular celebrity attempting to sneak out of another celebrity’s estate, clandestinely.
“Oh, yeah cool,” Don said. Thorne could see that Don had no idea why the video was funny. Wow, Thorne thought, this man is clueless.
So Thorne reminded him, “Don’t you remember? That guy is the one who called her a plum. Said she sleeps around too much. Yet there he is, coming out of her house at 4:30 in the morning. I don’t think they were practicing lines for a scene at that time, right?”
Then Don got it.
Thorne continued in that vein. A shout out to the Hall of Famer of the Other Sports Team.
An exciting recount of the last Starlight Accolades Awards, when Judith Ward had a major Meltdown because she didn’t get the Best Actress award.
A bit of flattery, “Malcolm never told me how much fun you are.” Thorne said.

More jokes that Don actually understood.
And then the biggest compliment that Thorne could come up with, that he thought Don could handle. “Seriously Dude, you’re the funniest, best looking guy I’ve met in a long time. Can I hang out with you for a while?”
Don, one word, “Sure.”
Well, Thorne thought, that’ll have to do for now.
“Cool,” Thorne answered. Then in a more sultry tone he asked, “What do you want to do?”
Don looked startled by the suggestive voice.
“I’m down for whatever,” Don answered. He seemed unsure where Thorne was taking this.
Thorne attempted to make it more obvious. “So am I.”
Don froze, mid action. Thorne could see the confusion is his eyes.
Go for it Bud, Thorne thought to himself.
Evidently Don could see the longing in Thorne’s eyes, and he went for it indeed.
Thorne was as obvious as he could be about accepting the flirt.
“We could sit down,” Don said, “and try to figure out what to do.”
It’s working! Thorne was thrilled. I’ve caught him with his own technique!
He sat down next to Don, and looked at him expectantly.
Don looked back at Thorne. He still looked doubtful that this was real.
“So,” Don finally spoke, “you really wanna hang with me?”
Thorne laughed, as sensually as possible. “Yeah, I really do,” he answered.
“Come here,” Don whispered to him.
They stood up, and Thorne looked at Don, thinking… Do it, you know you want too.
Don did it.
And then waited to see if Thorne would reject him.
Thorne didn’t reject him. Thorne was overjoyed! It worked! It worked! He kept telling himself.
Don seemed thankful that he hadn’t been reading Thorne wrong.
And indeed, Thorne tried to convey that he wanted more.
“It’s not private enough here for what I want from you,” Thorne said.
“We should go then,” Don agreed.
Don looked at Thorne, wondering what to expect.
“Just trust me,” Thorne whispered.
And Thorne moved, so he could be closer to Don.
This is real, Don thought. This is Thorne Bailey. Course, I’m Don Lothario, is this really that surprising?
Maybe not surprising, Don thought, but still pretty amazing.
Thorne was looking him in the eyes, and the look was something Don couldn’t quite identify.

Thanksgiving is fine. It's just lots of work! and cooking, and cleaning, and sometimes visiting people far away. My closest extended family is 6 hours away.
Plus I've got all these issues here. My daughter is in Arizona, my son is in too much pain to leave the house (or even his room) for long, and my oldest son has his little ones who are challenging. The special needs one, the hyper one, and the 4 month old. Lol. We just go to his house 😉

Level 8!!!!??? That's unbelievable!! Although that might be why you had trouble catching your first criminal. As you rise through the ranks you discover that the only way to get the right crook is to have 6 clues about them, otherwise the game will have other similar Sims in the area and it will be impossible to guess correctly.

On top of that, 'Caleb' behaves very differently to the in-game version both in that and the other two trailers (here and here). I can't reconcile that with Caleb's in-game traits and aspiration, so... separate character works XD

Casual diary update 103. I'm over a hundred now. Seems crazy. I think I missed a few numbers though. I also remember writing "casual diary update 59" twice. So these number are all very very rough. I might actually be on casual diary update 82. Or 124. I don't know.
I'm in a hotel room. Again. This time it's San Myshuno. It's a nice room. Pretty modern-ish. Nick says modern suits me. Modern is my style. Modern and cool. I don't know if I like it but my opinion doesn't really matter.

I didn't argue so Nick was pleased.

Yep, it was Tony's birthday. Summer, autumn, winter and now spring have passed since that incident with Thorne. One whole year. He's forty nine now. A lot has changed since he was forty two. Tony's old life seemed so far away he was a starting to wonder whether it even existed.
Perhaps this is everything he ever was. Perhaps he made up that story of a independent young man who did whatever he wanted and said whatever he thought.
"Happy birthday Tony!"
"Thorne!.." Tony flinched. "Hey..."
"Loving the outfit!" Thorne smiled.
Tony glanced at Nick, uncertain how to react. Did he really have to invite Thorne? He knew what happened, why would he do that?
Oh yes, Nick knew exactly what he was doing.
"You look a bit nervous Tony," he said, looking clearly amused. "Something wrong?"
"Yeah, you literally jumped there!"
"Just didn't expect to see an old... friend... here."
Tony gulped. Perhaps this was a test. What was he supposed to say next? Act natural. Just act natural or everyone will find out.
"Sorry boys, I'll have to steal my husband for a bit, there's something we need to discuss," looks like Octavia always comes to the rescue.
"Oh, but can't I just say hi?" Thorne argued.
Octavia gave Tony a quick, sorrowful glance and turned to Thorne again.
"Come. Along. Now," her voice hardened.
And the party continued as usual. There was a lot of drinks and bubbles involved.
Tony reacquainted with some important people from San Myshuno.
"Group selfie everyone!"
When everyone settled in the banquet hall, it was time for Tony to do a speech.
"I'm not really good at speeches so I'm just gonna say that I really love all of you guys."
"Aw, we love you too Tony!"
"And that is all, folks!.. Just kidding. Obviously. A speech can't be that short."
"So... a lot of things have changed since my last birthday. Some changes were good, some were... not so much." Like a lot "not so much".
"I'm not the same man I used to be. But you know what? No matter what happens, I know I can always count on you guys." Count on you to push me down even harder every time I try to make things right.
"Because we, celebrities, are like one big family. We always look out for one another, always help each other out, make sure no one falls behind..." Because that's the way we want the crowd to see us.

Then she and Roddy went into the room that had nothing in it, except lights. I'm tempted to call this room the affection station...or something like that. Anyway, Shine gave Roddy several big smooches on his face:

He used one of his makeup removal wipes. Shine smiled and gave Roddy a big loving hug:
'Thank you for the lipstick smooches, mummy!' Roddy said, cheerfully:
'Awwww, you're welcome, sweetie!' Shine replied, smiling sweetly and batting her eyelashes at Roddy:
She then gave Roddy another big loving hug:
Shine and Roddy chatted for a while:

@AlwaysAsking Have to give that post a sugar level of sugar migraine - good thing I have a sweet tooth and love sugar Don was funny in therole of the pursued not the pursuer. You must be super quick with your pause skills because the spa shots and expressions you catch are wonderful and very varied. I love Thorne's reasoning around what strategies to use on Don - looks like he chose well. It was so funny when he was trying to be friendly and funny with Don and Don didn't get the jokes. And Don looking uncertain and shy is not the way I usually get to see him when he is chasing my sims (almost as shocking as when J started crying). I am very interested to know where Thorne is headed and whether he outsmarts himself along the way - or maybe Dash can save Don after Thorne has broken his heart (oooh so many options) I can't wait to see what you do with it. To answer your question - no Tiasha is a sim a made a long time ago (for this save a a background character) Terrell is a random townie. I chose Tiasha to be Jade's roommate and Kendrick's (billboard guy) sister as they have similar looks and skin tone. I hope despite logistical issues you and your family had a great thanksgiving.

Cyrus invited Edvin Ollie to the Discoteque - he has been avoiding Cyrus for a while but Cyrus has been like an Uncle all his life so I think its time to heal relationships. Awkwardly, Cassandra was there
Thankfully she was really happy to see Edvin Ollie and acted like nothing was different (even if she had ran away when it looked like he was going to propose last date).
Dancing with the dance club - can't remember its name.
Then Cassandra did this, for a non-flirty sim this was a big gesture to make especially in public. Edvin Ollie feels all is forgiven.
It was nice to see these two being autonomously romantic in the background.
Random family things:
Geoffrey came around and Jessica gave him 2 selfies and an autograph. She gave him a hug but had to refuse another selfie telling him enough is enough. Notice our new teen thinks there can never be too many selfies.

I am not sure the gym is her "thing". She wouldn't even change her outfit.
Bjorn used to love standing around and watching Jessica care for the children - he has started doing it again. I think he realises he has put his way of life in danger.
I gave Jessica a new look - I felt she looked like someone and I couldn't work it out. Finally, I realised she looks like Phoebe on Friends when she had this hairdo
Family reunion time
Family relationships were always important to me in this save. I always tried to keep Bjorn linked to Sofia and Elsa and to make sure they were good friends with their half brothers and sisters. Now Bjorn has grandchildren, he needs to maintain those relationships too.

A trip to Selvadorada was needed after a successful university term. Roddy and Shine had both packed their bags and were discussing what they were going to do when they got there:

He could have sworn that the queen bee had come out and gave him a lick. 'That's something that doesn't happen every day, being licked by a bee' Benjamin thought.
Sad news from Carol Brinson
Carol Brinson had come over:

'You want to know what his final words were?' Carol asked. Roddy nodded, respectfully. 'Carol, you've been a fantastic wife. I will never forget the kindness you showed to me when you paid for my operation. I may be going, but you've made a good friend in Roddy. In other words my love, you're not alone.' Carol said, sighing. She changed into one of her formal outfits, and turned to Roddy. 'I'm glad to have met you, dearie. You're a very kind boy, and I've heard from others that you are very good at healing emotions' Carol said, feeling better:
'You're welcome, Carol!' Roddy said, glad that he was able to help Carol cope. Carol smiled and gave Roddy several big smooches on his face:
Roddy went bright red and giggled, Carol had covered his face in big, shiny, bright pink lipstick smooches:

'Have fun, my fair maiden' Benjamin replied. He, Chloe, Wendy, Tiffany, Sophia and Hamish waved goodbye as the taxi took Shine and Roddy to the airport. The pair arrived safely at their home away from home, Hillview Hideaway:

Sims 4 Family: Benjamin, Shine, Princess Roddy, Sophia and Hamish Furystrykar and Shelly Heart. Princess Roddy is my avatar, and he's a boy!
Well it has been an extremely long time since I've played Pleasant Town (Sims 2 Pleasantview townies in Brindleton Bay) and I thought it was time to get the save file up and running again. I left off on the last week of winter for the last week of rotation 3 with the Long family...here is what happened...
Jennifer continues to enjoy making messes from the pantry. This time she thought she would bring the chocolate sauce and flour out into the snow.
Jennifer and Jason get along extremely well. They can often be found playing with the dollhouse or colouring together.
Farrah Sims invited Rhiannon (GilsCarbo) and Jennifer over to play some Wake the Llama. Apparently the house was a little too cold for Rhiannon so she decided to enjoy the entire visit in her winter coat.
Jennifer continues her love for everything fashion and art.
Benjamin working on his handiness skill. He is currently at a level 6 and climbing.
Christmas day with the Long family. It was a great day and they all enjoyed some quality family time.
New Years was Jason's birthday as he aged into a child. He also rolled the Vegetarian trait like his sister, Jennifer. His parents don't worry about Jason going to school as he is quite the social butterfly and seems to have no problem fitting in wherever he goes.
Sadly the week and New Years ended with Mango heading off to the Netherworld. Mango will be greatly missed by the entire family as he has been around since the beginning.
And that was the week spent with the Long family. Onto the Spring and rotation 4 - The Sims family was randomly chosen to start off the rotation.
A photoshoot in my game today. I 'photographed' every sim that has reached the young adult age in my current Zest lineage.
Did this for comparison reason. I love genetics in the Sims 4 which is why I assembled these pictures of parents and their kids. To see similarities and differences. Not sure what would be the proper place to share this but I want to show them off somewhere, and this thread is familiar with my Zest family. \o/

So, for anyone who wants to know what happened after Gaston stormed out leaving Caleb crushed and sobbing at the door (for just a wee little flirting he did with Dominic, while drunk), those who now hate Gaston for being a cruel vicious meanie, will enjoy the following:
After storming out the door, Gaston kicked over the trashcan, punched the snowpal to smithereens, and headed for...wherever. Just anywhere. Maybe a long walk to cool his head off. Then his phone went off. It was Raj, inviting Gaston out for Guys' Night at the 8 Bells in Strangerville. He felt in need of a few stiff ones (you know I mean drinks, right?) so he was glad to accept. but the alcohol just amplified his anger and loosened his inhibitions, so Gaston wound up looking for a fight. So far, nobody would accept. But he finally got an officer to step outside, and threw a drink in his face. That officer had been deflecting, attempting to de-escalate the situation with the kind of class and poise that defines real maturity and leadership, and even a drink in the face couldn't shake his composure. "I'm not going to soil my uniform and office by teaching you a lesson about self-control, young [man], and you can thank me later, when you've sobered up. Until then I advise you to reflect on your pathetic state and do something about it, rather than making it everyone else's problem." And he turned on his heel and left Gaston weaving on his feet and seething, but also acutely aware of how base he had become. Hard lessons.
He slept it off, and called up his best friend Morgan, to hang out. He needed a favor, as he had just paid the rent and was low on cash, and out of plasma packs. She didn't like fangs, but she knew he'd do the same for her in a crisis, so she offered her wrist
and put on some good music, helped herself to cereal from his fridge, and started dancing. Gaston's neighbor came banging on the door about the noise, but was promptly handed a drink and a seat at the bubbling station, and didn't mind so much. Vlad showed up unannounced, and even though Gaston hardly knew him and didn't much care for him, it seemed a party was happening, so the more the merrier.
And Gaston kept pouring. And swigging. And everyone was heading home, staggering. He accompanied Morgan downstairs to see her off, and she dared him to streak,
which he really enjoyed, and apparently so did Morgan.
They headed upstairs for an after-party:
and some wild abandon took place.
In the morning, Morgan woke first, and was about to get something from the fridge, when she was startled by someone at the computer!
"What are you doing here?!" she blurted. "I have a key. And I could ask the same," he replied.

Ryan and Katherine are now adults and parents to three crazy kids! Madison becomes a teen in a week and her younger brother and sister will be children when I load up again. I kept getting interrupted due to the power shutting off because of the crazy-strong wind that came through this morning.

Yay a new page, I went and played some more and so that means something else to post.
It was fairly early but Cassie decided to get some time in with her friends to welcome a new member...as I thought I added him already and forgot. Isn't Wolfie cute?
Wolfgang fits right in immediately while Malcolm is much too snooty even if he does come when invited.
At home Alex couldn't help but use his soccer ball in the house once again after inviting Jason over to play, though it was a short visit as he had to go to drama club Cassie entertained him a bit by teasing him until she asked Wolfgang to meet her somewhere. She was moody at the park even with him being oddly upbeat, guess he just likes being around her. She still had a good time and gave him a copy of the pic she took of them.
Later I moved to Andrew's house to get his kids homework done and take care of their nightly needs he took a nap and decided to call Bella hoping she would come by. she was thrilled to see him, he got her to humor him a bit and they relaxed on the swings while his kids were asleep, though there was only so much stress relief there.
"You really invited me for this?"
"What? Doesn't paying my bills and taking care of my kids by myself mean I get to be a kid sometimes too?"
She laughed, though he did offer freedom Mortimer never could, she guessed it was a simple request and he was far too cute when he pouted, they were swinging until he felt a little sick. I had to switch houses to continue on and he changed clothes, getting a touch more comfortable before he asked if she could stay, Jason told him all about her daughter surely one night babysitting would be okay. Despite herself Bella agreed.
"You're beautiful in the moonlight."
"That was a little too corny Andy."
"You still smiled, so deal with it." he got a laugh and a kiss then.
As nice as it was waking up next to him and quick kisses Bella's reality was sinking all too soon, she couldn't be doing this, though it wasn't Mortimer she was worried about hurting which she guessed made her feel a little bad she was really going to have to let Andrew go. He coughed a bit apologizing for his lack of morning readiness she could only smile bitterly and tell it it was time to talk.
I left her there to do some work for the pancakes, Bob isn't really cut out for this student stuff but seeing how lively it had his wife he was making do even with work, and a baby.
I thought they timed it right his class ended and then Eliza's started but he had another class, leaving Julia home alone..I guess the cat is watching her.
Bouncing from day to day with class, no good for Eliza but she's doing her best she'll have to remember to give her daughter a goodnight kiss and crash until she was seventy.
Things are working out for them at least....I really love this nonsense mmhmm.

Thorne decided that enough was enough. Dash was getting way too close to Don. Just when he, Thorne, had the chance to put his plan in action, some other guy sinks his claws into Don.
So he followed Don again, this time, no disguise. He just had to hope that Don wasn’t off to meet Dash somewhere. Thorne lucked out. Don went to the Romance Festival, alone ….
He’d evaluated the techniques that Don used on his prey. He couldn’t possibly use the sugary one Don used on Dash, Don knew his voice. He couldn’t use the forward one, and grab his hands and kiss them. That would be way too weird. He couldn’t use the concerned helpful one, because Don would know that Thorne knew he was fine.
That left one choice, and this was his chance now, he couldn’t waste it. ”Don!” Thorne excitedly said, “Hey, how cool to run into you! What are you doing down here?” Thorne had to use the joking, fun loving method. But not blow it by propositioning Don too quickly; like Don had done to Steve Stark. Work into it slowly, he reminded himself.
Don looked dazed, “Hey, yeah, cool. I’m just hanging out,” he answered.

“Oh, yeah cool,” Don said. Thorne could see that Don had no idea why the video was funny. Wow, Thorne thought, this man is clueless.
So Thorne reminded him, “Don’t you remember? That guy is the one who called her a plum. Said she sleeps around too much. Yet there he is, coming out of her house at 4:30 in the morning. I don’t think they were practicing lines for a scene at that time, right?”
Then Don got it.
Thorne continued in that vein. A shout out to the Hall of Famer of the Other Sports Team.
An exciting recount of the last Starlight Accolades Awards, when Judith Ward had a major Meltdown because she didn’t get the Best Actress award.
A bit of flattery, “Malcolm never told me how much fun you are.” Thorne said.
Insider information on the sequel to a super hero movie.
A bit more flattery, “Wow, you’re such an awesome guy,” Thorne said. “I can’t believe no one ever told me this about you.”
More jokes that Don actually understood.
And then the biggest compliment that Thorne could come up with, that he thought Don could handle. “Seriously Dude, you’re the funniest, best looking guy I’ve met in a long time. Can I hang out with you for a while?”
Don, one word, “Sure.”
Well, Thorne thought, that’ll have to do for now.
“Cool,” Thorne answered. Then in a more sultry tone he asked, “What do you want to do?”
Don looked startled by the suggestive voice.
“I’m down for whatever,” Don answered. He seemed unsure where Thorne was taking this.
Thorne attempted to make it more obvious. “So am I.”
Don froze, mid action. Thorne could see the confusion is his eyes.
Go for it Bud, Thorne thought to himself.
Evidently Don could see the longing in Thorne’s eyes, and he went for it indeed.
Thorne was as obvious as he could be about accepting the flirt.
“We could sit down,” Don said, “and try to figure out what to do.”
It’s working! Thorne was thrilled. I’ve caught him with his own technique!
He sat down next to Don, and looked at him expectantly.
Don looked back at Thorne. He still looked doubtful that this was real.
“So,” Don finally spoke, “you really wanna hang with me?”
Thorne laughed, as sensually as possible. “Yeah, I really do,” he answered.
“Come here,” Don whispered to him.
They stood up, and Thorne looked at Don, thinking… Do it, you know you want too.
Don did it.
And then waited to see if Thorne would reject him.
Thorne didn’t reject him. Thorne was overjoyed! It worked! It worked! He kept telling himself.
Don seemed thankful that he hadn’t been reading Thorne wrong.
And indeed, Thorne tried to convey that he wanted more.
“It’s not private enough here for what I want from you,” Thorne said.
“We should go then,” Don agreed.
“Just trust me,” Thorne whispered.
And Thorne moved, so he could be closer to Don.
This is real, Don thought. This is Thorne Bailey. Course, I’m Don Lothario, is this really that surprising?
Maybe not surprising, Don thought, but still pretty amazing.
Thorne was looking him in the eyes, and the look was something Don couldn’t quite identify.
There was unmistakable hunger… But there was triumph too.
Whatever it was…
It was spectacular, and Thorne had his foot in the door.

Thanksgiving is fine. It's just lots of work! and cooking, and cleaning, and sometimes visiting people far away. My closest extended family is 6 hours away.
Plus I've got all these issues here. My daughter is in Arizona, my son is in too much pain to leave the house (or even his room) for long, and my oldest son has his little ones who are challenging. The special needs one, the hyper one, and the 4 month old. Lol. We just go to his house 😉
Lol about your clumsy trait! Actually I changed after I had my first son. I get sick and dizzy much easier since he was born. I can't even swing on a swing set anymore, and never rode another rollercoaster after he was born, (in 1984) so I'm not sure if your "glitches and bugs" will ever get "reset" 😂😅😄

Level 8!!!!??? That's unbelievable!! Although that might be why you had trouble catching your first criminal. As you rise through the ranks you discover that the only way to get the right crook is to have 6 clues about them, otherwise the game will have other similar Sims in the area and it will be impossible to guess correctly.

On top of that, 'Caleb' behaves very differently to the in-game version both in that and the other two trailers (here and here). I can't reconcile that with Caleb's in-game traits and aspiration, so... separate character works XD

Today - end of the first semester, and some big changes! Since Morgyn is now playable, they no longer have the quirk and their wardrobe is safe!

Casual diary update 103. I'm over a hundred now. Seems crazy. I think I missed a few numbers though. I also remember writing "casual diary update 59" twice. So these number are all very very rough. I might actually be on casual diary update 82. Or 124. I don't know.
I'm in a hotel room. Again. This time it's San Myshuno. It's a nice room. Pretty modern-ish. Nick says modern suits me. Modern is my style. Modern and cool. I don't know if I like it but my opinion doesn't really matter.
I posed for the cover of some kind of magazine earlier.
Stood the way they told me.
Wore the stuff they gave me.
I didn't argue so Nick was pleased.
Did an autograph session yesterday.
Gave out autographs, as the name implies.
And hugs.
And photos.

Tony slowly closed his diary.
I have to stop arguing. I can't fight this. Nick knows what's best for me.

"Good. Your behaviour got better recently. Looks like we're finally making progress!"

Yep, it was Tony's birthday. Summer, autumn, winter and now spring have passed since that incident with Thorne. One whole year. He's forty nine now. A lot has changed since he was forty two. Tony's old life seemed so far away he was a starting to wonder whether it even existed.
Perhaps this is everything he ever was. Perhaps he made up that story of a independent young man who did whatever he wanted and said whatever he thought.
"Happy birthday Tony!"
"Thorne!.." Tony flinched. "Hey..."
"Loving the outfit!" Thorne smiled.
Tony glanced at Nick, uncertain how to react. Did he really have to invite Thorne? He knew what happened, why would he do that?
Oh yes, Nick knew exactly what he was doing.
"You look a bit nervous Tony," he said, looking clearly amused. "Something wrong?"
"Yeah, you literally jumped there!"
"Just didn't expect to see an old... friend... here."
Tony gulped. Perhaps this was a test. What was he supposed to say next?
Act natural. Just act natural or everyone will find out.
"Sorry boys, I'll have to steal my husband for a bit, there's something we need to discuss," looks like Octavia always comes to the rescue.
"Oh, but can't I just say hi?" Thorne argued.
Octavia gave Tony a quick, sorrowful glance and turned to Thorne again.
"Come. Along. Now," her voice hardened.
And the party continued as usual. There was a lot of drinks and bubbles involved.
Tony reacquainted with some important people from San Myshuno.
"Group selfie everyone!"
When everyone settled in the banquet hall, it was time for Tony to do a speech.
"I'm not really good at speeches so I'm just gonna say that I really love all of you guys."
"Aw, we love you too Tony!"
"And that is all, folks!.. Just kidding. Obviously. A speech can't be that short."
"So... a lot of things have changed since my last birthday. Some changes were good, some were... not so much."
Like a lot "not so much".
"I'm not the same man I used to be. But you know what? No matter what happens, I know I can always count on you guys."
Count on you to push me down even harder every time I try to make things right.
"Because we, celebrities, are like one big family. We always look out for one another, always help each other out, make sure no one falls behind..."
Because that's the way we want the crowd to see us.
"Sometimes even more than we're asked to. "
Can't fight, can't argue, can't complain. Step out of line and you're done for. Fame comes with a price.
"And that's... That's really cool. Not many people have that kind of support. So I guess what I'm saying is... thank you."

And then she and Roddy go over to the Quad. Shine gets out her Archeology table and starts to identify an artifact that had been sent over:

And then she went home with Roddy. This term, she got a GPA of A+ and 2 credits. Shine opted to take a break from university.

Then she and Roddy went into the room that had nothing in it, except lights. I'm tempted to call this room the affection station...or something like that. Anyway, Shine gave Roddy several big smooches on his face:

He used one of his makeup removal wipes. Shine smiled and gave Roddy a big loving hug:
'Thank you for the lipstick smooches, mummy!' Roddy said, cheerfully:
'Awwww, you're welcome, sweetie!' Shine replied, smiling sweetly and batting her eyelashes at Roddy:
She then gave Roddy another big loving hug:
Shine and Roddy chatted for a while:

Cyrus invited Edvin Ollie to the Discoteque - he has been avoiding Cyrus for a while but Cyrus has been like an Uncle all his life so I think its time to heal relationships. Awkwardly, Cassandra was there
Dancing with the dance club - can't remember its name.
Then Cassandra did this, for a non-flirty sim this was a big gesture to make especially in public. Edvin Ollie feels all is forgiven.
It was nice to see these two being autonomously romantic in the background.

Bjorn used to love standing around and watching Jessica care for the children - he has started doing it again. I think he realises he has put his way of life in danger.

'Thank you dearie' Carol said, drying her eyes. 'I was called to the hospital. Dudley was in so much emotional pain, it hurt me. He passed away a few hours later' she added.
'You want to know what his final words were?' Carol asked. Roddy nodded, respectfully. 'Carol, you've been a fantastic wife. I will never forget the kindness you showed to me when you paid for my operation. I may be going, but you've made a good friend in Roddy. In other words my love, you're not alone.' Carol said, sighing. She changed into one of her formal outfits, and turned to Roddy. 'I'm glad to have met you, dearie. You're a very kind boy, and I've heard from others that you are very good at healing emotions' Carol said, feeling better:
'You're welcome, Carol!' Roddy said, glad that he was able to help Carol cope. Carol smiled and gave Roddy several big smooches on his face:

Jennifer continues to enjoy making messes from the pantry. This time she thought she would bring the chocolate sauce and flour out into the snow.
Jennifer and Jason get along extremely well. They can often be found playing with the dollhouse or colouring together.
Farrah Sims invited Rhiannon (GilsCarbo) and Jennifer over to play some Wake the Llama. Apparently the house was a little too cold for Rhiannon so she decided to enjoy the entire visit in her winter coat.
Jennifer continues her love for everything fashion and art.

Christmas day with the Long family. It was a great day and they all enjoyed some quality family time.
New Years was Jason's birthday as he aged into a child. He also rolled the Vegetarian trait like his sister, Jennifer. His parents don't worry about Jason going to school as he is quite the social butterfly and seems to have no problem fitting in wherever he goes.
Sadly the week and New Years ended with Mango heading off to the Netherworld. Mango will be greatly missed by the entire family as he has been around since the beginning.
And that was the week spent with the Long family. Onto the Spring and rotation 4 - The Sims family was randomly chosen to start off the rotation.
Did this for comparison reason. I love genetics in the Sims 4 which is why I assembled these pictures of parents and their kids. To see similarities and differences. Not sure what would be the proper place to share this but I want to show them off somewhere, and this thread is familiar with my Zest family. \o/

After storming out the door, Gaston kicked over the trashcan, punched the snowpal to smithereens, and headed for...wherever. Just anywhere. Maybe a long walk to cool his head off. Then his phone went off. It was Raj, inviting Gaston out for Guys' Night at the 8 Bells in Strangerville. He felt in need of a few stiff ones (you know I mean drinks, right?) so he was glad to accept.
He slept it off, and called up his best friend Morgan, to hang out. He needed a favor, as he had just paid the rent and was low on cash, and out of plasma packs. She didn't like fangs, but she knew he'd do the same for her in a crisis, so she offered her wrist
In the morning, Morgan woke first, and was about to get something from the fridge, when she was startled by someone at the computer!
