@ryttu3k gotta love a jealous Caleb, I think Ill have to pull Morgyn and L from the sage rout to really play them right? Its fine if I have too Im gonna need control of them for more.
@Becka28 im glad to hear it I went a little overboard with makeovers. I think David Spade Morgyn is an acquired taste lol. I know it would be awesome to work for some of the sims that are particularly easy on the eye.
As for Bjorn well things happen Ill say that much. Also Ill probably make a habit of ruining his life life for fun for a bit. L is an interesting one makes me curious of their home life. Im just glad Jess has Diego even if nothing changed for them, its nice.

The royal household is in turmoil after the possible heir to the possible heir froze to deal while sleeping in a pool. Young Qasima was the daughter of the standoffish Princess Yasmine, who shocked the household when she left it for the big city of San Myshuno, and has resisted every attempt by her grandmother, Queen Fatima, to govern her life. Qasima leaves behind her husband Baldur, and their twins Kadir and Khalilah. Still worse, the twins' grandfather Prince Harun, inspired by his daughter Yasmine and Aisha's rebellion in leaving the royal manor, also left -- and was exposed to dying of old age, without access to his mother's store of restorative potions. With Yasmine so distant from the queen, there is fear that younger contestants for the throne -- like Prince Harun's younger brother Prince Abdul, or Harun's out-of-wedlock son Iskandar might vie for power. However, Queen Fatima has dealt with such problems in the past by exiling all rivals to the desert, there to serve in the royal army as Sons of Aslan. What the Queen fears is not succession crises, but Freya. The jilted fiance of the late prince has never stopped wearing the royal necklace he gave her as a promise of their future life together, and according to the Queen's spies Freya has made herself a close friend to both Yasmine and Aisha, and possibly the lover of Prince Abdul.

Yasmine, who never uses the princess title -- nor does her twin Aisha, who follows Yasmine's lead -- is enjoying a comfortable life in the big city, with four children: teenage Azar, middle-school Haidar, and freshly born twins, Massoud and Malik.

In happier news, the Queen announced today that the University she supplied endowment money for is nearly to accept students.

Here's the scoop on my new sims:
Jaxon (I forgot his last name, lol) and Sara Parker are half siblings. Sara lost her home in a fire and met Jaxon at a family reunion that she went to find someone who would take her in after the fire. Jaxon recently got divorced, lost his job and home. They both moved into a small Windenburg home. Jaxon grew up in Windenburg while Sara never saw the world as she always stayed in her hometown Willow Creek. One night, Jaxon was walking home very drunk near the vampire town (forgot the name) and Vladius bit him. He soon became a vampire and was forced to create a clan of vampires that he had turned in a week or he would die. Sara, on the other hand went to experience the world. She saw all the historical sites (and found herself dancing at a nude nightclub with her new club, Partihaus). She is an up and coming celebrity with her instrumental skills and streaming videos.

Now I need to decide on a love interest for Sara. Joaquin Le Chien or the black haired girl from the Renegades (I forgot the name). Or we just keep her single. (She already woohooed with Joaquin and went on a date with the black haired girl). Please think about it!!

You would think, when downloading Inna, (with Vlad Bloodvein and Elle DeVampiro , "The Noble Vampires household" by Maxis) that she would have some kind of skills, but all of them are newbies, lol, what is funny as they are all so powerful at the trailers of the GP

So, Inna broke in went to the library of Willow Creek , after it's closing hours. To read Encyclopedia Vamprica , at candle light, so nobody would notice there is someone there, at the empty library, in the middle of the night.. alone.

I am SO taking these two to my B&G save at home! Already saved them to library, and added needed tray files to my usb.
(Anyway easy as in that save there ain't yest Vampires, CL or IL, I just delete original Hekekia dude and original Inna. I know MCCC will pair them with someone else otherwise! Now I am only wondering what about their kids?? Vampires or mermaids?? As I know game woun't allow hybrids (sorry Tyler!) )

Loving the steps going to University. I am playing simself and my sisters simself. She is going to apply for Britechester with a distinguished degree in culinary arts. For myself however, I have a ton of choices to make. Wither a distinguished degree at Foxbury in biology, computer science or physics or a distinguished degree at Britechester in language and literature. I need help!! Thanks!!

@RedDestiny92 yeah, they lose Sagehood as soon as they become playable, unfortunately. You can reassign them with Paulson's NPCC mod, I believe, or assign someone else of your choosing.

Thorne and Don Chapter 12

Thorne spent every free minute he had with Don

He did not want Don running off to be with anyone else. Not when his plan was going so well.

And Don seemed to be fine with it.

Thorne was pretty sure Don was doing fine with it because he didn’t have the energy to make his own plans.

“Don, Bud?” Thorne said. “Are you ok? You look tired.” Of course, Thorne knew exactly why Don was feeling tired.

“I am tired,” Don said. “I’m always tired, an’ I don’t know why.”

Thorne commiserated with him. “What could be wrong?” Thorne asked him. “You’ve been sick like this for weeks. I’m really worried.”

“I don’t know,” Don said, “But I’m tired and my stomach hurts, and I throw up all the time. How long does food poisoning last?”

“It doesn’t last for weeks,” Thorne answered.

“Come on, I’ll take you home,” Thorne said. It was gratifying to know that he had effectively trapped Don at home. Unless Thorne came to get him, Don was usually asleep.

Don usually helped out around the house and yard to pay his rent, but he gotten too sick to do that. Thorne told him not to worry about it, and he gave Malcolm cash for Don’s part of the rent. Then Thorne started having groceries delivered there so Don would have healthy food to eat.

And, of course, he came over to be with Don all the time.

“How are you feeling today?” Thorne asked him.

“Not good,” Don said. “My stomach is really messed up today.”

“It’s going to get better, I’m sure it will get better. You just need some more rest,” Thorne said.

“Can you stay here with me?” Don asked him. “It’s easier to sleep when you’re here.”

“I can stay tonight,” Thorne said. “If you really want me too.”

“ ’Course I do,” Don answered. “I just told you it’s easier to sleep when you’re here.”

“I’ll stay with you then,” Thorne told him. “I’ll do anything that will make you happy.”

Thorne did not call Don any pet names.

And he did not tell Don that he loved him.

If Don wanted to hear it, he was going to have to say it first. Thorne wasn’t about to set off Don’s, “commitment issues.”

But he had a feeling that Don wanted to hear it.

Thorne did everything but say the words. He needed Don to break first.

Let’s go Don, Thorne said to himself. You know you love me, just say it…

But Don wouldn’t budge, and it was aggravating.

It’s very probable that the physical distress that Don was experiencing contributed to the problem.

Don saying no to some fun in the bushes was quite unusual.

“I think you should go see a doctor,” Thorne advised. “I mean …. if you can’t even… you know … do anything with me …. well….” And he let the threat hang there, to see what Don would do.

Don didn’t take it well.

“What do you mean?” Don said. “Do you mean you won’t be with me anymore if I can’t …?”

The look of panic in his eyes made Thorne very happy.

But he had his answer now, so he let Don off the hook.

“No, no,” Thorne assured him, “You’re crazy! That’s not what I meant at all. I meant I probably shouldn’t take you out of your house if you’re that sick. Come on, I’ll take you home.”

“And yes,” Thorne answered Don, before Don could ask the question, “I’ll stay there with you …”

Everything was perfect …..

I must be different from everyone else, because I don't see Tony as evil, but as having a knife to his throat. Wouldn't anyone do what he's doing, if the ones they loved were under threat for their lives, unless he did? He's in an agonizing position and the evil person doing it...if I said what ought to happen to them, it would get removed from the forum. But Tony, evil? Not even. He's gutting himself to save them.

That is such a great perspective! Even though I see Tony more of a tired person who's too broken to think his actions through, all of your points are really spot-on.

I feel like mr. Puppeter isnt going to just die peacefully so Tony will have to live like this since he cant just give up his fame and run off with his family.

Well I mean Nick's plan is to outlive Tony. Milk out of him as much money as possible, make a sad face on his funeral and then successfully retire to some kind of private island with a bottle of champagne...

Yep, now Peter knows for sure he wasn't wrong. Problem is, he really doesn't know how to explain it to Steve who will most like think Peter's just sticking up for Tony because any child in his place would.

And I agree with Nush, honestly, I don't see Tony as evil so much as desperate. He's a victim in this as well.

Tony isn't evil at all... I mean I don't have a problem with anyone thinking he is (the more opinions the better!) but I definitely didn't intend to make him that way. Broken - absolutely. Stupid - maybe. Evil? Nah.

Nick's the evil one. Tony is just a puppet in his hands.

Do we know why Steve is so anti cheating (I mean apart from the normal expectation of your partner never cheating) - I see he says - he never wants to be hurt again. Tony obviously knows all about it which was why he got so worried about the kiss and the photos (which seemed not the most major of indiscretions). Did I miss something or have we not found about Steve's past yet?

You haven't missed anything, Steve's past is yet to be told

I just wanted to run around your post and pull each character into my arms and hug them while they sobbed.

That pretty much sums up how I felt when writing it down.

Peter's poses and expressions were so spot on for a teenager in this - both when he was reading on the bed and when complaining about not wanting to leave anything behind.

Aggh, the book poses! They were SUCH a pain to find! So much that I was almost ready to give up and hand Peter a normal in-game book. But I just really really wanted him to be reading a book in bed while Steve told him about the splitting up situation. No idea why, I just had that picture in my head. I'm so happy I eventually found them

So I played a lot. And by a lot I mean a lot. I've got so many screenshots stacked up it's worth like ten updates (some of which will be over 100 screenshots). Because of that I'm was thinking of posting updates every single day next week and I'd like to know what do you think about that. Too much perhaps?

I definitely remember someone here saying that even seven updates a week wouldn't be enough so... whoever you are, you might've just gotten your wish come true

"So that's the kitchen area... got yourself a microwave n' stuff. Don't think it actually works though, the last dude living here had a couple of accidents... the stove's workin' fine though."

"The TV got a bit of VHS noise but otherwise than that it ain't worse than your fancy flat-screened ones... There's only one bed though."

"Suppose one of you could take up the couch, you'll find some bedding in the drawers and all... I've settled a laundromat in the garage, it's one simoleon per washing machine. No dryers though..."

"I've got no idea where are you planning on keeping these two but just make sure they don't make noise after eleven p.m."

"Look uh... I know this ain't a five-star hotel or anythin', but you really won't find anything better for 840 simoleons per month. Mind you, I'm actually giving you a very good price, my cousin owns a motel way worse and he charges 900 per month..."

"We have to think a little bit further than a comfy place right here right now, Peter," sighed Steve. "We have to be really careful what we spend money on. At least till I find a job, which knowing Del Sol Valley is nearly impossible... We'll discuss it tomorrow. Get in bed, it's pretty late."

"In bed? Actually since I'm smaller I should take the couch! That's way more logical."

"Oh Peter... You're taking the bed. End of discussion."

"Pa, you're tired and you need to get some good sleep."
"So do you!"
"But I'm fourteen, I don't need sleep. A as matter of fact I'm never tired!" boasted Peter.
Steve smiled.
"Thanks."

Soon they were all asleep.

Peter was so tired he didn't even bother to change into pajamas or get the bedding.

Tessa preferred to sleep outside.

Meanwhile...
"Tony! Congratulations on earning five stars!"

"So great to see you man! Finally got that celebrity tile, huh!"

"Thanks, can't believe it myself! I'm over the moon with joy, literally."

"Ah, Tony, congratulations! My first ever celebrity to earn this much fame - I feel like a proud father!"

"I would never fail you sir."

"Yo Tony! We gotta celebrate, let's get some drinks!"

"I swear this is going to be the best night of my life..."

"Oh my! Did we actually get the "worlds best actor" award? Tony do you see this? Do you see this trophy I'm holding in my hand?"

"I would just like all of you to know how proud I am of Tony. This man is like a son to me. I always looked out for him, I always made sure to get him the best roles possible. I still remember seeing him for the first time thirty nine years ago. Thirty nine - can you believe that number? Decades have passed! We used to be so young back then..."

"And now here we are, holding this award. What a wonderful feeling it is to know that your son have succeeded in life! Tony's success is my success! And your success too! Because without each and every one of you fans this wouldn't be possible! Thank you all!.."

Steve woke up cold and uncomfortable. Even though September in Del Sol Valley was pretty warm, it was still quite cool at night time and no central heating wasn't helping the situation.

"Morning Peter."
"Morning Pa. Pretty cold here - I had to switch to my warm pj's halfway through the night."

"Also you realise we have to share one bathroom now?"
"When I was a kid we had one bathroom on seven people," Steve laughed. "Me, my parents and four of my grandparents."

"Fair enough but did your shower look like that?"
"Our shower looked like a hose outside the house. And it only had cold water."
"Okay... With those kind of conditions I'm really confused about how could you ever managed to meet Dad."

Steve frowned.
"Peter, could we not... talk about Dad?"
"Oh. Right. Sorry. It's just... I uh- I'll go figure breakfast out."

Steve sighed. The memories of the day he saw Tony for the first time flown onto him. Could fifteen years really pass so quickly?

"I can see you're learning the art of cooking," he smiled, walking in the kitchen area.

"It's burnt," muttered Peter. "And don't tell me you've been cooking grilled cheese since you were three or something."
"Actually I never got into cooking, so..."

"But I bet you never dropped your salt into your grilled cheese sandwich either, have you!" bitterly replied Peter. "Why is everything so hard?"

"Well... That's real life for you, son," softly said Steve. "You're now mortal like the rest of us. Don't worry - you'll get the hang of it."

During breakfast time Peter and Steve realised a much bigger problem they had. Tessa's food was extremely expensive. Stanley's - even more so.

Steve was smart enough to pack some food for them, but it would only last for a week or so. This was a huge problem.

Later that day Steve did the dishes:

And then they went to the laundromat.

"Woah... I knew in theory about laundry, I've seen it in movies, but I never thought I'll have to experience it. So cool! Did you have to do this as a kid too?"

"No, actually I used my hands and soap to do the laundry," Steve winked.
"That sucks."

"So what happens now?"

"Well... We sit here and wait for the machine to do its swirly thing..."

"And then when the light goes red - ta da! We got some clean clothes!"

"Everything takes so loooong..." groaned Peter.

"This TV doesn't even have Netflix! Or any of my favourite channels!"

"Also the screen is so tiny and blurry..."
"I mean I had a radio and that was it for my entertainment..." shrugged Steve.
"Sorry."
"What for?"

"I'm acting like a total brat all day," sighed Peter. "I should be grateful I even have a place to live now. I just... I didn't think all of this stuff is so hard! I never thought about it at all! I don't even know the name of our maid and our cook... I don't think I even acknowledged them as real people while they did all of the hard work so we didn't have to! I'm a terrible person, Pa!"

"Oh Peter... And you're not a terrible person! You just... you never had to deal with any of this. And you certainly aren't a brat. Stuff like this - it needs some getting used to. Even for me, a guy who spent twenty years of his life on the countryside, this is quite overwhelming."
"Well I'm never taking stuff like this for granted ever again."
"Hey, don't worry. We won't stay here for longer than a month. I already began checking out the prices for homes in Willow Creek-"
"So... we're moving away?"
"Is there anything keeping us here?"
"Dad?"

"Oh Peter..."

"Look Pa, I know what you think. But it's- it's not Dad, okay? I don't know how or why but... I don't think he's acting on his free will. You know like Darth Vader- wait, no, bad example, Darth Vader is the bad guy. But he was brainwashed by the emperor and then his son Luke saved him so I guess you could say that-"
"Peter, life isn't a movie. Sometimes the bad guy can be the person you love most. Look, I understand that you really love Dad and you will believe anything that would make him look better in this situation but you'll eventually still have to accept that Dad isn't the person we thought he is. I'm sorry, I wish it was easier for you but-"
"This has nothing to do with love, it's just logic... I was so close to figure it out and now I won't be able too and I'm terrible at explaining..." Peter sighed. "Forget about it, let's move to Willow Creek. I just really want to move away from this place."

"Alright. Enough of this bitterness," firmly said Steve. "Whether we like it or not, we still got about a month or so to live here. And I don't think we should be miserable for such a long time. Do you?"
"No, but-"

"You know all this place really needs is a little bit of decoration! So how about we head to the mall and find some stuff to brighten this place up? Then we'll unpack any stuff we got and make it truly ours."

"No to misery, yes to a new happy life? What do you say?"

"Okay..."

"Looks like this whole unpacking idea was exactly what we needed," Steve smiled, watching as Peter cheerfully played with Tessa.

"Yeah, I'm starting to warm up to this place" Peter laughed. "Maybe it's not so bad here after all!"

"Also, all of this means I don't have to go to school anymore, or modelling, right?"

"Well... pretty much. I think you can drop off school for the time being. You're smart, you'll catch up."
"Yess! I'm finally freeee!" Peter yelled in delight.

"Love you, Pa."
"Love you too, son."

"I'm gonna go take Tessa on a walk. There are some awesome free dog parks nearby!"
"Alright, I'll finish the unpacking then."

"Okay, cool. C'mon, Tessie!"
"Don't be home late!"

"Hold on a sec," Steve picked up a rather shabby looking notebook.

"I thought you got rid of your homework. Something to do with a "revelation" moment and stuff?"

"I did! Must've forgotten that one. Just throw it away."

"Alright," Steve shrugged and put the notebook in the trash bag.

And that was the end of Tony's diary.

If it's any consolation, I update every day, or very close, and nobody's grabbed the pitchforks yet. Rofl

Recap: Damian Ember the Morgyn Ember CAS Clone and Cassandra Goth moved in together in San Myshuno, got a posh apartment, stole the Vatores, turned them human, and shipped them off to college. Then stole Morgyn. And Morgyn turned Caleb into a spellcaster. Cassandra and Damian are now married, and have a daughter named Esmeralda (Esme for short). Caleb and Morgyn are now dating, except Caleb is impatient and tried to rush too quickly into puttin' a ring on it. And Lilith still just wants a latte and to be left alone to her treadmill.

"And the princess jumped across the bridge, praying she could make it..." Cassandra read, her voice animated but hushed. Damian sat not far away, on their bed beside Esme's door. And soon enough the girl's quiet breaths evened out, and Cassandra gradually lowered her voice until she'd hushed entirely. Esme didn't stir.
Cassandra closed the book, quietly sliding it back into place on the bookshelf, and then tucked Esmeralda in.
"Some days I still can't believe we're parents," Damian whispered.
Cassandra smiled. "I know," she said. "It's kind of like a dream."
Damian held his hands out, and Cassandra slid her hands into his. Damian gently pulled her into his lap, and just so, their lips met. He never wondered if she really did love him. He could tell by the way she looked at him, so much like how he looked at her.

"The only problem with Mondays is they come with homework," Caleb grumbled.
"Could be worse," Morgyn said. "At least we're lucky enough to have homework I guess. Cassandra could've told you to go earn your own tuition."
Caleb laughed. "Yeah... well I think I could've managed. I do have some money put away from selling the manor in Forgotten Hollow."
"Did anyone even buy it?" Morgyn asked. There were no stories of the Hollow's population going up, that was for sure.
"Yeah," Caleb answered. "Some friends of mine."
"Of the fanged variety, huh?" Morgyn asked.
Caleb snorted. "What other variety would survive in Forgotten Hollow?" None, that was what.

"You know," Cassandra said, sitting down next to Damian in the computer room. "Red and black look really good on you."
Damian blinked in surprise. "You think so?"
"I think so."
"Thank you," Damian said.
"Red and black are also the Goth family colours, did you know that?" Cassandra asked. Well, they used to be purple and gold, if she remembered right, but at some point between the 1560s and the 1790s, it'd changed.
Damian snorted. "Well, nice to be inadvertently familially patriotic. Is that a thing?"
"Sure," Cassandra said. "The cute one said it, so it is."
"I don't think that's -"
"Yes it is!" Cassandra insisted, as she stood up and wandered off.
Well, Damian supposed that settled that.

Finally, it was quiet, and Sarnai could focus. She had to use most of her energy to try and break the Magic Realm's barriers, and her sister and brother-in-law interrupting every ten seconds wasn't helping anything. And then Lakshmi ignored her cat familiar, Kit, and he was starting to bond with Sarnai, instead. It was so overrated to be trying to read a book while petting a cat that demanded affection every five minutes.
Okay, maybe it was every hour or so. Close enough.
Sarnai drew a deep breath in, raised her hands and brought them together, and the dark energy swirled around her. Ahh, that was better... she could see the barriers in her mind, and knew what she was after. At least, if Lakshmi's knowledge was correct, and her sister was prone to blunders.
"Sarnai," came a voice, filtering through the dark energy like molasses oozed out from a jar. Sarnai ignored it, she wasn't interested in that.
"SARNAI," the voice insisted. It was loud enough that time, it started Sarnai and she hit the floor.
"Ow..." It didn't hurt as much as it used to, when Sarnai was still living, but it did still hurt. One purple eye opened, then the other. Lakshmi was standing over her. "What?" she asked.
"Do you remember where we put the laundry detergent?" Lakshmi asked?
Sarnai breathed deeply, and stood up, brushing her jeans off. "If you continue to interrupt us, sister," Sarnai ground out, "you will wake up on the floor in a few hours with puncture wounds."
Lakshmi stared at Sarnai. Sarnai stared at Lakshmi.
"Sorry," Lakshmi mumbled.
"It's in the back room," Sarnai said.
"Thank you."
Sarnai didn't answer, simply burst into shadow.

AH, perhaps, finally, she'd finally gotten it. Sarnai focused her powers, hammering the Magic Realm barriers with psychic energy. In a contest between spellcasters and vampires, most assumed spellcasters were more powerful by default. Perhaps. Of course, vampires may not be able to electrocute someone on command, but they could control the minds of those who could.
The barriers resisted. She expected as much, and forced more of her mind's power into it. She was so close to breaking them, she could almost taste it. Or perhaps that was the coppery tang of her own blood coming up from the strain. The barriers swayed under her mind's pressure, and Sarnai put more effort into it, and -
"SARNAI!"
"WATCHER, CURSE YOU!" Sarnai shouted.
"I'm sorry, but the annoying mermaid siren... thing, is here, and she's not happy about it," Lakshmi explained.
Sarnai's nostrils flared in annoyance. Of course. Amiyah's timing was most annoying, but she had told Lakshmi to tell her when Amiyah arrived. Watcher, she had a migraine anyway... maybe some tea was a good idea. Those barriers were stronger than she expected...

"You're not pawning me off on someone else, are you?" Caleb asked, shrinking slightly. Yeah, he'd messed up the other day, and proposed a little too soon, but Morgyn hadn't seemed upset about it before. Had Morgyn's mind changed? There were supposedly two other Sages to learn magic from, and Caleb was just hoping that wasn't Morgyn's intention. (He was kind of enjoying the attention.)
"Egh, no," Morgyn said. "We're just here to make sure the Duplicato spell isn't going to wear off anytime soon."
"The what?" Caleb asked.
"Duplicato," Morgyn replied. "It's the ultimate spell in the Untamed branch, and creates a clone of the caster. Every good spellcaster knows Duplicato." The uses for it were almost too much. And Morgyn's in particular tended to last nigh forever. With the spell active, Morgyn could stay outside Magic Realm without shirking Sagely duties, and everyone was happy.
"I don't know Duplicato," Caleb pointed out.
"That's because you're -" Morgyn paused, but couldn't think of a better way of phrasing it than had been started. "... Simeon should be this way, at least."
"Wow," Caleb said, half laughing. "I don't know whether to be offended or impressed right now."
"Yeah," Morgyn answered, "I get that a lot."

Caleb went quiet, and then fidgeted.
"I'm not mad at you," Morgyn said, leaning over a little in attempt to meet his gaze. "Really."
"At the time it seemed like a logical progression," Caleb said. "And in hindsight..."
Morgyn smiled a little. "Hey, you know what they say, hindsight is 50/50. Or whatever it is."
Caleb laughed. "I think it's 20," he said.
"Right, yeah, that." Morgyn was too old to keep up with all these turn of phrases. "I'm kind of flattered, really. Just... not right now, you know?"
Caleb smiled a bit, and nodded. "Yeah, I know."
"Good," Morgyn said, kissing Caleb's cheek. "Now, let's go find a Sage that looks like me."

Sarnai appeared at the ground floor in a puff of black smoke. Amiyah looked annoyed.
"We are pleased to see you," Sarnai said. Actually, she wasn't terribly pleased, but Amiyah and Keon were the only fish Sarnai knew of, and siren mermaids could do some very fascinating things with their siren powers.
Like put Sims into trances...
"Oh shut up," Amiyah snarked back. "You're not pleased to see me and neither am I pleased to see you."
Well, she was right about that much. "If you'd like to make this discussion harder than it needs to be, we won't stop you," Sarnai said, her tone lilting upward in warning, eyes flickering with a soft glow.
"Oh go ahead and threaten me if you want," Amiyah said, almost snarling. "Your kind don't scare me."
"We should," Sarnai said softly. "But no matter. You'll learn or you won't, and which it is matters little to us. The Count wants into the Magic Realm."
"And what's that got to do with merfolk?" Amiyah asked. The Count paid handsomely, and Amiyah knew it, so she wasn't immediately saying no.
"We heard you have experience with the casters," Sarnai said. "We only need to know if the casters' barriers hold up against mind powers."
"They can resist them directly," Amiyah said, "but not indirectly."
"And how does that help?" Lakshmi asked from the side by the stairs, snorting.
"Silence, sister," Sarnai said. "Thank you, fish girl. We will pay you by the end of tonight. You may leave now."
Amiyah harumphed, but stood up and marched out the door. And Sarnai had an idea... but first, she needed to greet the Count tonight. Vladislaus would be expecting her, and it wouldn't do to disappoint.

( I am so sorry for this scene really, might be a wee confusing lol. Also, no, this was set in place back when Morgyn first moved in rofl so I'm not hopping on the multiple Morgyns train, I was already on it before it was a proper train xD For mine I just grabbed another copy of Morgyn and NPCC'd that one into the right role and let the game take it from there. )
Morgyn wandered back to the bookshelf, putting the book back. Footsteps sounded from one side, and Morgyn turned to find... Morgyn.
"Ah," Morgyn said, "there you are. I was wondering where you'd gone off to."
"Helping Miss Emilia," Morgyn answered.
"You're not feeling weak are you?" Morgyn asked, sliding the book into place on the shelf and then turning to face the duplication properly.
"No," the stand-in answered. "I feel okay. My magic recovers from overcharging normally."
Morgyn took a moment to wave a hand, emitting sparkles and checking the other Morgyn over with magic. Everything seemed in working order, so Morgyn wasn't going to worry about it too much. "Well, keep up the good work then," Morgyn said.
"I will," Morgyn answered. "Simeon's down there."
"Oh, thank you."
As Morgyn turned around, heading down the stairs towards Simeon, the duplicate slowly began to grin, a little too wide to be mere joy. What luck, that the Untamed Sage bought it. Now, no one would ever find out... and soon enough... they'd learn what they needed to learn.

She appeared, as always she did, in a puff of black smoke. As it happened, Count Vladislaus was expecting her indeed, and had met her outside his manor. Sarnai immediately curtsied in respect. "Count, it's so good to see you," she said.
"Sarnai," Vlad greeted in return. He'd already tried to break her of the curtsying habit, but eventually found it more efficient to simply accept it. "My, I'd forgotten how lovely you are. I trust you find your living arrangements pleasing?"
Sarnai made a wry expression for a moment, and then smiled. "We do, yes."
Vladislaus arched an eyebrow. He wasn't buying that response.
Sighing, Sarnai's shoulders sank slightly, her head turning to the side a bit. "Lakshmi is grating our nerves," Sarnai said. "We remember why we moved away from her the last time."
"Siblings are often quite trying," Vladislaus said. "Well, have you been so busy working on your mission that you took three nights to visit?"
Sarnai nodded. "We have," she said. "The magic barriers around the Realm are more difficult to break than we expected. We should have a solution soon, but for now, we are having noted difficulties." And many migraines.

"I asked for you specifically," Vladislaus said, "because I knew I could entrust this task to no one else. You'll figure it out."
Sarnai nodded her head, blinking slowly. "The Count places great trust in us," she said. "We are not certain we will emerge triumphant."
"Of course you will," Vlad replied. "If anyone can do it, Sarnai, it's you." Admittedly, this was a task of unknown danger, and Vlad had no interest in messing with unknown components personally. Sarnai was just the right combination of crazy and intelligent, she had a much higher chance of surviving the endeavour unscathed, and perhaps even succeeding.
And someone doing something right around here was always a nice breath of fresh air.

"Morgyn!" Simeon greeted, a bit too happily. Of course, Morgyn and Simeon were closer with one another than they each were with L., but she had quite the mean streak. "You are Morgyn, right?"
"Of course, beer gut," Morgyn answered.
"Ahhh, it's so nice to see you," Simeon replied, reaching over and giving Morgyn an awkward hug. Morgyn had a crush on Simeon, but hadn't ever said anything about it. It was a little awkward, and might violate some unspoken rules about not mixing work and relationships.
Somehow though, Morgyn didn't think Caleb would really care...
"So, how are things?" Morgyn asked. "Have I missed anything?"
"Nothing important," Simeon replied. "Well, I think you missed L.'s wedding. Not that it was really anything to be excited about."
"Sorry," Morgyn said. "I had to go to my brother's wedding."
"Oh?" Simeon asked, perking up a bit. "You found your brother?"
"I did, yes. He might come by sometime." Probably not. Damian had no interest in Magic Realm, despite being just as old, and just as powerful, as Morgyn was.
Simeon smiled. "It'd be nice to meet the guy I've heard so much about."
The more they talked, the more uneasy Morgyn felt. Something was off, but Morgyn couldn't readily pinpoint what. "Yeah," Morgyn said, nodding. "I'll tell him you'd like to meet him. Where's L.?"
"Ah, probably in the basement as always," Simeon replied. "She's been in a weird mood recently, and I'm not sure why."
Oh. That wouldn't have anything to do with Don Lothario, would it? Morgyn wondered, but didn't ask. Likely, Simeon didn't know, either.

"Of course," Sarnai answered. "We already have an idea that might get us around our problem."
Vladislaus smirked and nodded. "Of course you do," he said. "I knew I could trust no one else. You're doing very well, as always. Ah, Miss Hell also wanted this assignment."
Sarnai tilted her head. "Unfortunate she cannot do anything right, then," she replied.
Vladislaus almost outright laughed. "Yes, very unfortunate," he agreed. "She may try to do it herself, anyway. You know she's always done whatever she wants."
"Yes," Sarnai replied. "No matter. She will not get in our way." And she would not succeed before Sarnai had, either. Sarnai was already partway in, and what was Miss Hell?
Jealous, that's what Miss Hell was.

"Oh, no way!" Morgyn exclaimed.
Simeon laughed. "Yes way," he said. "I told them it was a bad idea, they did it anyway."
The two were so wrapped up in being amused over their discussion, they missed L. coming up the stairs from the basement, until her voice came from right behind Morgyn.
"You're wasting time," she said.
Morgyn turned, watching her. She sounded strange, but Morgyn couldn't put a finger on it. "Wasting time?" Morgyn asked. "Time with friends is never wasted."
"The clock is against you, now," L. said. "You're wasting time, because you have little of it left. There it goes, slipping through your fingers like sand, and you don't even know it."
Simeon frowned, and Morgyn's gaze narrowed. She still sounded off, and it was going to bother Morgyn until it made sense. "L., what are you talking about?"
For a long moment, L. just stared at Morgyn, and didn't answer. And then, strangely, she grinned, almost too widely. "You'll see, if you keep wasting so much time," L. replied, and then with that grin still on her face, she wandered off.
"What was that?" Morgyn asked, turning to Simeon.
"I told you," Simeon answered, "she's been a little weird these days."
That went a bit beyond a 'little' weird, Morgyn thought. "I should go, I'll see you later," Morgyn said, and then shot off across the Realm to get Caleb. Morgyn couldn't say why, but something, maybe instinct, said 'go home, now.'

It seemed like Damian was always playing with Esme. Cassandra didn't mind it, because it was nice to watch them. At the moment, she was in front of the cauldron upstairs, experimenting with different potion ingredients to see if she could stumble into a potion recipe. She could just ask her mother, but that was too easy.
Esmeralda had come up from her room, and watched for a while, before Damian came upstairs and started playing with her. Cassandra didn't think she needed to be playing this late at night, but they were just so precious she let it alone.
Eventually, Damian set Esme down, and the girl toddled off to go to bed. Fortunately, it'd seem there wouldn't be a problem there.
"Oof," Damian said, shifting his shoulders. "She's getting heavy."
"Yeah, I bet she is," Cassandra answered. "Someday, she won't be that little anymore."
"Tossing her around will be harder, I'm sure," Damian said. "I'm just enjoying it while I can, you know?"
"Just don't dislocate anything, okay?" Cassandra said.
"Yeah, I won't," he replied. "You figure anything out?" Damian nodded at the cauldron.
"No," Cassandra said, sighing. "My mother's side of the family's been master alchemists for generations upon generations, and my father's side of the family are all Untamed masters. And I can't even figure out how to make a nausea potion, but at least I've got the spellcasting si -"
"Why are you still talking, shut up!" Damian suddenly snarled.
Cassandra was not expecting that in the least, and it stunned her into silence. She went to say something, and then changed her mind, simply staring at Damian.
And for a moment, Damian looked confused. And then his eyebrows furrowed, and one hand rose to his temple. "Cass - sorry, I'm sorry, I don't..." He shook his head, squeezing his eyes closed for a moment. "I'm sorry. I have a headache, I think I'll just go to bed."
"Okay," Cassandra said, her eyebrows still furrowed together. She watched him go, her mind whirling with thoughts. Damian was never that harsh before, not with her, or... anyone in all the time she'd known him. What had just happened...?

"You're still trying?" Lakshmi asked.
"Of course," Sarnai replied, arranging her notes on the table. She was getting closer to achieving her goals, she was sure of it. She just needed a little bit more time, but the casters weren't expecting this, and it was making her job a little bit easier.
"Why?" Lakshmi asked.
"Because he wants us to," Sarnai answered, arching one eyebrow. "Because the Count asked us." It really was that simple, and why Lakshmi wasn't understanding, that Sarnai didn't know.
"And why do you answer to him, anyway?" Lakshmi went on. "You are stronger than him, Sarnai, you don't need him." Lakshmi simply didn't like Vladislaus Straud. Thought he had too much ego, and believed his relationship with her sister was inherently imbalanced and one-sided. Sarnai adored him, and as much as that Miss Hell or whatever her name was thought otherwise, Lakshmi didn't think it was mutual.
"We do not need you either," Sarnai said, her tone low, "and yet we keep you."
Lakshmi frowned. Fine. She was used to Sarnai threatening her; that was the only way Sarnai knew how to communicate, sometimes. Side effect of becoming a vampire so young, Lakshmi assumed.
"Fine," Lakshmi said. She wouldn't bring it up again then. Still, though, she worried. Maybe she was right to.

I had some weddings queuing up and decided to get it over with.
So happy to annouce both Emilia Ernest and Darrel Charm are happily married to their new partners.

Emilia's wintery ceremony with Felix was a very private one - they don't have many friends, so there were just Stella and a few colleagues from UBrite (that I didn't bother to take pictures of).

@Morkovka what a lovely update. Emilia's wedding was just so beautiful - all white and wintery. I love her veil - is it cc? I love how you set up the arch for wedding photos and they look so much like real life wedding photos (though I haven't been to a wedding where any guests were as cool as Caleb and Morgyn). All the women fangirling over Morgyn made me smile and the last screenshot of Caleb is fantastic - he does look very smug.

@Koteyka post away - I for one can never wait for the next update. Steve and Peter are the two best people to find themselves in trouble - they are so cheerful in adversity. Nick accepting Tony's award made me sick. The gringy room was so well done - I was feeling the grit and grime through the screen. I hope they get to Willow Creek soon. And Tony;s diary ---- nooooo, look inside Steve, dont just throw it out. I wasnt expecting that.

@AlwaysAsking Thorne has a great range in facial expression. Poor Don - he is so sick and confused.

@AlwaysAsking gosh they are so perfect together.....because they are both so messed up. Thorne has no idea how well he learned Don's worst ways. While Don sees nothing wrong with being trapped and broken down fighting committment issues. That said not all couples are easy and particularly healthy so for the drama I do live them. I wonder if Don is expecting or if you're planning on him becoming sickly since I know you enjoy them and they earned a happy ending so you wouldn't kill him. Hmm though maybe ghost Don could get his act together. Love it waiting for more.
@ryttu3k I figured but Im still going to pretend thats not the case. Mmhmm its hard waiting for sims to meet in hopes of creating the next scene.
@Koteyka i see so you are saying Nick needs the grim reaper to teach him a lesson. Ah I wish he would have looked inside like a helicopter parent making sure his "homework" didnt look too recent to see what was really going on. Though I guess it cant be that easy.
Curious about the neighbors and maybe some of this is good for Peter I mean at least he realized how he saw the help. Now he wilk know better poor kid needs his family together.
Also a lot of this threads speed comes from how active people can get post whatever I guess the only real courtesy is waiting for someone to post between your updates or least limiting back to back posts.
Who knows I dont see anyone upset enjoy yourself.

It´s interesting how so many of your sims end up rolling the unflirty trait, I think I only have one or two in total who have it. I used to have the opposite problem - too many of my sims trying to do everything that moves, causing problems with their partners and forcing me to constantly delete unwanted relationships with MCCC - I finally gave up and disabled random flirting for my sanity´s sake. It had gotten to the point where, in my other save, I could no longer have Antoniette´s adult kids visit, because they all will start to flirt with Morgyn as soon as they have a chance. I totally get that he is hot, but my dear, your mama is a witch who already murdered her sister without shedding a tear. Don´t think that she won´t end you if she sees it. It´s way more peaceful now - thanks to a mod, I know who my sims find attractive and if I agree, I will let them flirt and see if something comes out of this, because while one sim may find the other very attractive, it isn´t always mutual. The nearest thing to one-sided relationships in this game.
Looks like L. Faba has been practicing despario on her poor husband. That´s what you get for marrying a mean witch, I guess.

Leo met his baby sister. Sadly, Wendla was too young to be much of a conversationist

If anyone thinks teenagers are hard, try teenage vampires. Ophelia returned from school feeling enraged. I sent her to bed to cool off, but she escaped while I was taking care of her siblings and bit Kurt. No one else saw it and Kurt wasn´t upset with her when he woke up (he used to be a vampire, so he knows that sometimes you can´t help it), but still, next time she gets enraged, I am going to lock her into coffin untill she calms down.
Morgyn was two hours late for work, because Cassandra woke up just when he was about to leave and grabbed him for quick woohoo before he got out of the house. Silly me was busy making sure that the kids will go to school because they occasionally try to skip it, while I should have been keeping an eye on adults. 1:0 win for Morgyn and Cassandra

So I am "hard at work" on my essay. This is the final paper due for my World Mythology class and the last couple months have been terrible with work, my mental health and my back. I am getting a nerve block tomorrow so fingers crossed it works and no surgery. I just lost my job Thursday morning so that has thrown me off as well. This paper is due no later than 11:59 pm tomorrow so I am hoping to get it written at least most of the way today and to finish off the other paper I haven't submitted (it's a month late haha). I got this but in the mean time I can write my paper on my phone as well as my computer. I took a break yesterday to play the sims.

I am using my simself and my sister's simself to play around with University before I jump into Romeo and Juliet more. I aged us down to teens so we could build up skills and work a part time job as well as get good grades. My sister's simself, Emily, is going to Britechester for a distinguished degree in Culinary Arts while my simself, Caitlin, has tons of options and no clue what to do. I am going to spend some time redoing some of the University buildings and decorating the inside of the dorms. I got the idea from Lilsimsie on YouTube. I absolutely LOVE watching her!

Caitlin. I actually wear outfits like this all the time except with vans and a hoodie instead of the denim jacket.

This is the follow-up to my Black Widow Vampire game (first post on pg 539):

**This is really 2 days of gameplay; yesterday and today**

Darcy and Jade's (her human familiar) relationship has had it's ups and downs. When things were looking up, Darcy allowed Jade to use the kitchen in the main part of the house to fix herself dinner...then Jade set herself on fire and took a quarter of the kitchen with her before Darcy got it all extinguished. Jade then got exiled back to the basement and was forced to work off the damage she caused by painting and crafting for the better part of a week. Darcy also took away her small TV and books as punishment. When Jade finally emerged from the basement, she was a little cranky and stir crazy, but was determined to work harder and impress her vampire mistress. After all, Darcy agreed to turn Jade ONLY if she served her well.

Darcy also took some big steps with her current mark/love interest, Jacques Villareal. They've been dating on and off since the death of her first husband, Wally. Jacques, who is totally smitten with the beautiful and dark Darcy, decided to propose. She gladly accepted. At her request, he also moved his three children out of his manor and into their own place. After all, the new queen wanted the castle all to herself. The following day, Darcy insisted they speed things along and get married immediately. They eloped later that day in the snowy gardens of the Von-Windenburg Estate.

Now, Darcy, her newborn daughter Maeve, and Jade are all getting settled into their new home. And so begins the undoing of Jacques Villareal...

My life has been consumed by holidays this month. My husband's hips are getting worse so I am taking on more and more of the work. And spending more time with him than my computer so he doesn't get too depressed. That's just easier now than the rest of the year because Christmas makes him happy so we watch holiday movies together and listen to music and decorate the tree and wrap gifts.... Anyway, next weekend we have the stepson and his family over for the family Christmas, and then the weekend after we go down to have Christmas with my father and my stepsiblings, which we usually don't but Dad has cancer now so it's a bit more urgent. Fortunately at work we're off from 3 pm on Christmas eve until Jan 2nd, because we're tied to the school system, and I'm taking the 2nd and 3rd off because I'll need it by then and have three weeks of vacation a year now. So I'll have time to break in the Island Living expansion that I'm expecting to get for the holidays because I send my husband to Target when they had a sale with a copy of the ad with the right expansion circled on it.

But all of that is basically to say I don't think I'll be writing any comment posts until around New Years. What time I spend on the computer, I intend to spend playing. This will probably be my last update until then also.

First, the view of the rooftop of the remodeled Straud Mansion in the snow. Forgotten Hollow is one of the prettiest places in winter I think.

So Vlad has taken in the vampires that Cordelia has turned, and has started them on a training regimen including vampire training, regular fitness workouts, and sparring practice.
The idea of giving you a vampire training montage put the song "Eye of the Tiger" in my head, so under the spoiler you're going to find my new take on it, "Fang of the Vampire." Apologies in advance for cheesiness.

Um... so besides that nonsense...

Akira has settled in. He gets along quite well with Maaike...

She taught him that coffins were not just for sleeping.

And the whole brood has obtained a food source. Raj, the vegetarian, has learned to make Plasma Fruit Salad and Plasma Janes. Maaike and Akira have caught a combined 30+ fish for plasma packs.

Maaike enjoys it more than Akira does.

(They went to Strangerville because the water was frozen in the hollow).

And Ulrike and Vlad have Don Lothario locked into the cowplant pen, talking to a snowpal.

Er, well... they did.

Guess they need a new victim.

I have longterm story plans for the brood, but right now they're just getting up to power so they can accomplish them. Here's the progress so far, under a spoiler.

Ulrike is now a master vampire, ahead of the others because she gets points for drinking from sims that the rest miss out on.

Maaike and Raj are minor vampires.
Maaike is openly arguing with and challenging Ulrike about the imprisonment of sims for food.

They mutually decided that arguing was getting them nowhere. They now duel more than spar though.

Raj is quietly learning as much as he can, while pretending to just be the funny guy.
Eat when they study,

Study and work out when they're not looking.

Very scary.

Akira doesn't care. He just wants to live forever and party forever and woohoo with Maaike at every opportunity.

So he's still just a fledgling.

He did take the whole brood out when his son Bruce invited him to an outing. To introduce him to the new girlfriend, of course.
The only pictures of that are in the previous spoiler, with Ulrike drinking from a random guy at the venue.
But here's a shot of Bruce at the Newcrest nightclub, next to the cemetery where they buried Don.

Ulrike is judging everyone's fashion choices. Maaike was in her workout clothes, Raj in his swimwear, and of course Bruce in costume because that's how Athena's children roll.

Hope everyone's holiday season is happy so far. Or December, for those who don't celebrate anything in particular.

This happened last night when I was playing. I panned the camera across the dorm floor and something unusual caught my eye at the showers. I zoomed in and saw one of the lads taking a shower and standing Right behind him IN the stall was another lad with a digital sketchpad sketching away. I'm like: 0.0 What's the rating on this game again? Bwahahahaha! and Dudes, you're going to get electrocuted and Enjoy!

There is a cheat that lets you build on lots you shouldn't touch, like the police station and hospital. I don't remember it right now, but it might work for the dorms.

I didn't really think Peter was shy, just that he didn't continue trying to be friends with the kids in his circle.

The update where Tony gets them to move out is hard to read. Reminds me too much of several times in my life.

Some of the Windenburg pre-mades seem very uninspired. Ulrike is too weird for my tastes, but lots of people use her. Are those the only pre-mades that you have left?

I know this next update should be terrible, but it made me soooo happy to know that Peter was away from Orange that I was ok with the other stuff.

It was really great to hear about Steve's background!! And to see Peter realizing how much he'd taken for granted. This might be good for him.

But omg! Tony's diary!! Everything would have been fine if Steve just read it!!!

(Which is why I know he'll never read it. Lol. Can't end the drama here!)
