To combat the mess, I placed one of the laundry baskets that looked like a plant vase - specifically Almost Alive Hamper at the front door. Then I used moveobjects on cheat to place a plant in the laundry basket. The sims then threw their clothes in the basket/planter.
OMG this made me laugh SO hard! What a great solution!

Hi and welcome! Don't feel bad. I bought SO many things full price, or when they were on the Daily Deal at a less-than optimal price. I nearly killed @Me1620 when I first arrived with trying to figure out the best way to finish sets I'd started improperly, lol. I just kept overloading her with questions. It's a good thing everyone here is so nice, or they would've kicked me out months ago, lol! Don't worry about what you've started, just jump right in and everyone (me included) will try to help you sort through it. It will get better!
@Keiomestre Welcome! And you are certainly not the only person to buy that venue just for its content. I find it overly large. Sims just get lost in there. You'll notice that the bakery, and any lot created with the content, fails to produce new goods for purchase. If you are not against mods, there is one that fixes that here. It is the Cupcake mod over at Nraas. It will make sure the displays stay stocked for your Sims to go shopping.
On the other hand, if you want to run a bakery yourself, there is the issue of getting your own Sim to get their baked goods into the displays. I have a short tutorial on that in my build thread. Here is a link for that.

Thanks for the tips. I bought the bakery months ago and I know about the mod, but since my own sim was running her bakery I didn't download it. Eventually I started using the food replicator to keep up with the demand of the customers. I didn't know of the method 3 from your topic, I might use it sometime.

As of right now, 6:52pm Eastern, the page loads for me, but not displaying properly. I am located in the Northeastern US. All the menus are wonky. It is displaying the correct deal, Man Cave Compilation.
I can manage to get around the site by using my mouse to find the drop down menus that are hidden until I hit them. I am also able to sign in and check my download history. I don't want to mess up my game by downloading stuff that's already installed, but I presume since I can sign in and I can see my history there is a chance that would work.
Just wanted to give an update for people to compare to.
I saw that too angeljess26. I was hoping with the latest store maintenance that the 2-year old problem with the stuck Sales page would have also been fixed.

Just from the first few minutes of reading, I found valuable and clearly explained tips on how my sim can run a bakery and using the mod One More Slot Please. I have never heard of that mod before. Hi and welcome! Don't feel bad. I bought SO many things full price, or when they were on the Daily Deal at a less-than optimal price. I nearly killed @Me1620 when I first arrived with trying to figure out the best way to finish sets I'd started improperly, lol. I just kept overloading her with questions. It's a good thing everyone here is so nice, or they would've kicked me out months ago, lol! Don't worry about what you've started, just jump right in and everyone (me included) will try to help you sort through it.
My Wishlist
On the other hand, if you want to run a bakery yourself, there is the issue of getting your own Sim to get their baked goods into the displays. I have a short tutorial on that in my build thread. Here is a link for that.

> @Keiomestre Welcome! And you are certainly not the only person to buy that venue just for its content. I find it overly large. Sims just get lost in there. You'll notice that the bakery, and any lot created with the content, fails to produce new goods for purchase. If you are not against mods, there is one that fixes that here. It is the Cupcake mod over at Nraas. It will make sure the displays stay stocked for your Sims to go shopping.

Thanks for the tips. I bought the bakery months ago and I know about the mod, but since my own sim was running her bakery I didn't download it. Eventually I started using the food replicator to keep up with the demand of the customers. I didn't know of the method 3 from your topic, I might use it sometime.

Same problem here. Both the site and on the game launcher.
I can manage to get around the site by using my mouse to find the drop down menus that are hidden until I hit them. I am also able to sign in and check my download history. I don't want to mess up my game by downloading stuff that's already installed, but I presume since I can sign in and I can see my history there is a chance that would work.
Just wanted to give an update for people to compare to.

@Jude525 - I am not sure if I have ever viewed your thread before. Just from the first few minutes of reading, I found valuable and clearly explained tips on how my sim can run a bakery and using the mod One More Slot Please. I have never heard of that mod before. I have bookmarked your thread and am going back to page 1 to read your entire thread.
