The shorter teen request always annoys me as I stopped growing at age ten and most girls stop growing by 12 anyway. If any thing height related I want an actual height difference between male and females. (Actually I would like that a lot.)
I would like more supernatural lifestates, namely witches, though I would also like to have werewolves. I also would like tans and sunburns to happen.
Oh, and as far as know nothing has added the military career. I would like that a lot.
My favourite colour is #E4717A, just like any other ordinary human girl.
We need more hair colors, eyebrows and eyelashes to expand the customization enabling us to create sims that will look more unique, also more cool hairstyles for males, they always get less than the females. If we could’ve have some spike and stylish ones, like the hair of Noctis from final fantasy XV it would be awesome.
Robots, I would love to build robots, or Plumbots as they were called in Sims3. Just make it an extension of the science career using the invention constructor.
Something I would love to see added to the game is sort of a two-fold thing:
1) I would like a speed walking option as an exercise option and I would like it to be something even elders can do without immediately getting 'dangerously tired'. It wouldn't even need a new animation - the 'bouncy' walk would be perfect!
2) And I would love to have the option for elder sims to do all the same types of exercise but at a gentler level, one that won't cause that 'dangerously tired' option to happen so quickly. (Actually, not even just for elders; that would be a nice option for ALL sims and when they choose the gentler workout version, their fitness level wouldn't rise as fast, but their energy and hygiene wouldn't drop as quickly.) Like, 'go for a walk' instead of 'go jogging', or 'swim slow laps' instead of the regular 'swim laps', an option to lift lighter weights, etc. I went to a 60th wedding anniversary party a while back and the married couple - who are well into their 80's, pushing 90 - danced ALL NIGHT LONG. They walk, use a treadmill, work in their yard, etc. and never get 'dangerously tired'. And they weren't 'gym rat' type people in their younger years or anything; just active to a normal, average degree. I think the game seriously underestimates what elders are capable of.
I have a senior community in my game and I found a floorplan of a senior rec center that I want to build for them, but looking at the floor plan, I had to laugh a little. Everything in this recreation center designed specifically for real life elders would KILL elder sims.
Wall Ovens, corner fireplaces, trash compactors for the kitchen, counter top stoves, walk in showers, pool steps, garden tubs, slipcover sofas/loveseats/chairs, coordinating windows and doors for the greenhouse roofs, daybeds, doorbells, stand mixers for baking, more square coffee tables, more beds, microwave above the stove or as a built in instead of on the counter, top door fridges with freezers on the bottom, under counter mini fridges.. I love everything so far! These would be awesome bonuses to my game..
I would like to have an easy way to get single sims meet other single sims in the game. I am not talking about clubs, which does not allow to have too many members. I'm talking about like a special venue, just for single sims. Or have a genie as in the sims 3 to ask for a boy or girlfriend. In the Will of wishes, if a sims ask for love, it can give you romantic mode and then, they need to go trying to find someone single. Relationship are complicated. I know, I can use the cheat for "modify relationship" but for that, the sims needs to find someone single.
Interacting with the toaster would give one the opportunity to cook the following: a toaster pastry, toast (obviously), a toasted sandwich, maybe even "toasted bread" with a side of olive oil (yumm!), etcétera...
The food coming out of a toaster would fill up the hunger bar as much as the "have a quick meal" interaction or the "microwave meal" option. But... sims would not get a negative "cold in the middle" moodlet. They would get a positive "toasted" moodlet.
The catch... the toaster must be cleaned periodically. If it isn't and the sim uses it, they will get a negative "burnt" moodlet.
Also... there can be upgrades like "self cleaning," and "seldom breaks," etcétera...
And the toaster can break down. When it does, it would have electric sparks coming out of it.

I honestly am within a hair's width of giving up on TS4 altogether. I know many others are. The build limitations are frustrating enough: no platforms; no separate foundations; no terrain manipulation; no L-shaped, U-shaped, split-level, etc. stairs; no custom swatches without having to upload CC. And not to mention the many bugs that other players and myself have experienced.
Give us ONE GOOD REASON why we should buy ANYTHING ELSE TS-related from EA when there are so many problems with TS4 as it is. I bet EA can't.
I, and many others, have been requesting, begging for spiral staircases and/or ladders for years. The footprint of stairs is so big, especially in a room with medium or tall walls. If you're building a "tiny" house in real life, you'd want a spiral staircase or even a loft ladder, right? Our Sims want the same thing!
Another thing that would be really helpful is, in CAS mode, the ability to filter out some of the hairstyles and clothing. When you've got multiple packs on top of the base game, your inventory is quite extensive. With hair, in addition to filtering by length, it would be nice to be able to filter by pack. For example, if you only want to look through the City Living pack, you can select it or deselect the others. (I hope that makes sense.)
id like for the achievements to be across all save files instead of restarting for each and every one. it annoys me when i start new families as each EP is released to then start earning the same achievements over and over.
I really want stairs you can turn mid room - it'd actually theoretically be relatively simple to code new stairs, seriously!!! All the pieces are there in game! You just create a stretch and/or pivot point in a set of stairs - you'd likely have to have a full patch that replaced older stairs, or only allowed new stair types to do it until you managed to apply it all - force attached to a mid level mandatory room/ supporting wall, that can be demolished separately from the stairs just like rails and half walls.
Guys, you can literally use half walls with alterations to "support" a pivot or stretched landing point initially - just like with regular stairs, but also allow for that portion to be bulldozed. You have ze technologeez!! It could even lead to sunken rooms if you allow the partial steps' bottom landing to overlap like doors now. You have the ability to regulate interior wall height, so collisions with wall items and paintings shouldn't be that much of a thing with proper testing!!!
Man I hope you guys respond to me about this, I'm stoked to hear if this makes sense - I'm not a programmer, but the pieces seem to be able to fit if you just jimmy them together - walls already go on stairs, try using that code mechanism on a stretch point. It _should_ fit together if you jimmy it right!!!!

Good afternoon!
I recently updated to the Caribbean patch update and I was wondering by any chance if the creative team ever thought about a vendor for Caribbean food. I figure it would be an interesting idea considering the new Caribbean themed patch. There are some favorites when it comes to Caribbean cuisine. Would you guys be able to incorporate that into the game?
Hi @EA_Mage I really love the cultural diversity in the City Living Pack but I still feel it's very limited in the sense that you have taken inspiration from Indian and Moroccan culture but their dress sense is also very modest yet most of the clothes that are Moroccan/Indian inspired in the game still seem to have a western take. I've noticed this mostly with the feminine clothes. It would be great if you could incorporate some more full sleeved/modest clothing that are Moroccan/Indian inspired just so its easier to have more realistic clothing for sims I would like to make from that culture. I absolutely love the head wraps, please could you add more colours? Could you even go as far as to have a full head wrap that goes under the chin too like a headscarf??? Also would it be possible to have a layering function for tops in CAS. Similar to how you can layer socks, tights/leggings and trousers could you create that option for the upper half so tops to put on underneath clothes like sleeveless shirts or underneath dresses and possibly the chance to layer it with some jackets too. Would be great for winter wear.
I'd personally love some long curly hairstyles, rather than just short or afro styles. The Carribean update has a lot of great stuff, and I love it, but we still only really have braids or short curls.
More general careers, spiral stairs, adjustable heights? More colour and selection in men's clothing, general accessories and kid's clothing. More freedom in build mode, just as a general. University expansion maybe?
I think a fair amount of the community have similar wants, and hopefully we'll get to see them expanded on in the future!
I don't understand why we don't have terrain tools yet. Please add them I don't see them as something that's so impossible! The grid is right there and terrain manipulation has been around since the original sims!
Playing onIntel Core i7-5960X 16 core CPU - 32 GB DDR4 Ram - GTX 980 Ti
I'd like to be able to ask Repairpeople to upgrade things (for a fee) as well as repair things as I don't always want my Sims to have to learn the handiness skill.
The game could do with a filter on the personal inventory, such as filters for food, flowers, metals, relics etc; it's a bit of a pain when trying to find one specfic item when you have lots of items in there to scroll through.
"Get your facts first, then you can distort them as much as you please." - Mark Twain
I really don't think it matters what you add to the game as long as the Sims don't get smarter and better at intercting with each other. I found the best way for the Sims to interact now is to Wake all the distractions from them. Basicly build the smallest home possible to cover the basic needs of the Sims, kitchen, toilet and bedroom. That way they have to interact with each other. If they need a computer I send them to a library, training to a gym and so on. This also forces me as a player to visit different lots to amke something happen instyead of having the Sims being at home all the time, each occupied with its thing.
I would like a Sim to be able to click on themselves and chose to go for a walk, Without a Dog.
Also, I would like our Sims to have the option to chose and add others to go for a walk with them.
This should be for all sims except toddlers.
Also, Sims, while walking alone or walking a Pet, should always know their way home. I have had Sims that had stopped to play fetch with their dogs and then when I clicked go home, they do not know how to go home.
Having these two things enabled will make the game more enjoyable, Its always Sims walking about. Sims and kids can meet their neighbors and chat a bit and go back home.
we'll give you a full refund. Just make sure you make your request within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase, or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first.

Then what would be the point of raising the kids to have those traits?
It could be a cheat though.
All my creations are CC free.
