Hello people, my name is Sean. I am 16 years old. I can remember Sims 2 being the first sims game I ever played, though I have always thought that Sims 3 for the Xbox 360 was the best. I am Bermudian born, with Guyanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Native American, and English origins. I really find these forums useful for getting help, sharing ideas, and relating to many people. My favorite musicians are J Dilla, Nujabes, 2pac, and Michael Jackson.

I'm Dan, and all I can say is that it's in the middle of March and a lot of gaming announcements are on the horizon. The anticipation is real. I look forward to reading and viewing some insightful stuff.

Thanks for the quick and warm welcome. Oh, I suppose I should mention that I started with The Sims 3. Great game (optimization needed work, though).

Hello everyone! I've been sneaking around here just reading discussions for a while, and just started to post myself, so I figure it's time for an introduction:

I'm a simmer from Norway who started to play the game when it came out in 2000. I used to be very active on the old norwegian forums back then. I loved TS2, but by the time TS3 was out I had temporarily lost my interest in the game and was a very busy University student. So I didn't play the game for about 5 years, and haven't played TS3 at all.

I regained interest in the game when TS4 came out, I loved the graphics and got a sudden nostalgic urge to start playing again. So here I am. My nickname means tomato plant in norwegian - I'm a big fan of gardening in the game and IRL. I'm generally a legacy player, I stick with one family. Can't wait to become a Member so I can post some pictures of them :)

Hello @Tomatplante :) It is nice to meet you. It is great that you have started posting on the forums! It will be very nice to see pictures of your legacy family sims when you are become a full member and can post pictures. Having Legacy families is a special part of Simming! It is very nice seeing the new generations of children and seeing them interact with each other and their parents. It is nice that you enjoy gardening in the game and real life. It is enjoyable having our sims grow and harvest plants in the game. It is exciting seeing the produce and flowers appear on the plants!
    Happy Simming! :)

Hello! I've been lurking for some months now and I thought it would be fun to finally join the forum. I'm Swedish (thus, English isn't my first language and... I type quicker than I think and make errors that make myself facepalm now and then) and I've been playing Sims since Sims 1, but with a huge hiatus - haven't even played Sims 3 for more than a few minutes, so I barely know a thing about that game. I played a lot of Sims 2 in my teenage years, and the reason I decided to pick up Sims 4 3,5 months ago was because my sister just installed Sims 2 on her computer (after a long hiatus as well), talked a lot about it and made me crave some simming as well. So even though there are things from Sims 2 that I miss, I really enjoy Sims 4 and have had a lot of fun playing it.

Hello @Yuna :) It is nice to meet you. It is nice that you first started Simming by playing Sims 2. It was nice that you first started Simming as a result of your mother buying the game for your brother. It would have then led you on to spending many fun hours Simming! It is great that you enjoy playing a variety of games. You would enjoy choosing which game to play depending on how you are feeling that day.
Perhaps the people that you work with are your friends and support you day by day. As you post on the forums here, you will make Simming friends that you can talk to on the forums and will support you in all that your life is holding. Hello! ^^ I'm Devin, a real, live female Devin, and I've been playing the sims for a while now. I got hooked on it when I was about 7, my mom introduced me to Sims 1 and now I'm about to graduate High School and become a Mass Communications Specialist in the US Navy. I plan to keep playing, of course. There will always be time for Sims! Sims 2 was my favorite until Sims 4 came out, and really got me hooked on houses and interior design, which is what I really hope to do with my free time some day, when I'm not busy writing. :) I just want to say that I appreciate the warm welcome, and I look forward to the future!

    Hey, I'm Anthony.
I've been playing the Sims for probably about half of my life now, beginning with the first Sims, and don't really plan on stopping.
I guess one thing about me is that I am an animator. That's kind of cool haha

Hello @AFerrari0908 :) It is nice to meet you. It is nice that you first started Simming by playing Sims 1. With you being an animator, you would find Simming very interesting, Your career work and knowledge of animation would combine with your enjoyment of playing the sims, and both your Simming and career would influence each other. It would be a great career to be involved in, and you would be ever learning new techniques of animation and expressing creativity!
    Happy Simming! :)

@rosemow Yer definitely, and I think that might be why I'm enjoying The Sims 4 more than the Sims 3. It seems to have a lot more life in it and I love the style.
Thanks for the kind welcome :)
