It would be extremely dumb to make a fake toddler render just for a gift. If it is then they are oficially the dumbest people on earth.

It makes no sense for them to be complaining now though. They pretty much just enjoy being drama queens then. No way to please them. I'm not EAs biggest fan, but at least i don't cry over stuff that hasn't been denied yet.
Not a chance. Looks like that's literally just meant to be a drawing for the family and nothing more. Even if they are coming its too little too late. They would probably be objects like the babies anyway or have some other irritating limitations/just be extremely shallow like the rest of the game.
Everything is "too little, too late" which is why I keep saying people who dislike the Sims 4, won't ever like it even if they do deliver what was asked.
If you don't like the base game, you won't like what comes as DLC. Said it from the start.
And people who do love Sims 4 will jump up and down seeing something that should have been in there from the very start as if EA is doing them a favour, screaming it's the best toddler ever, basing this on a render without any further information. The parents don't even look like Sims 4 sims to me.
It is a hopeful sign though. Can't imagine they'd have the nerve to fake a toddler when they're not planning real ones for the game. That would be completely bad taste and cruel, considering how badly fans want toddlers. If there's one thing this picture proves, it's that toddlers are desperately missing in the game, because it was clearly necessary to fake one in order to be able to create this partcular family.

I know EA/Maxis wants toddlers to be a surprise. They wouldn't let it be leaked like that.
I mean, maybe toddlers will come eventually. I don't have much hope anymore. But it just seems to good to be true that the spouse of the head of the company would leak that when Maxis hasn't told us anything. It's not like a SP getting accidentally leaked by Amazon or some nerd game tester on LinkedIn. Toddlers are way to big of a thing to be leaked so carelessly.
I'm taking this with a grain of salt. If they cared about toddlers at all, they wouldn't have let that leak on the internet.

It would HAVE to be a game pack! Because we don't have toddlers, cribs, toddler toys.....they have a bunch of new stuff they'd have to give us.....omg I am biting my nails!
