I wish I could post some pics, but as soon I can I will ! So right now I'm playing the family De la Roche, a french family from the eighteenth century (this is for the decades challenge, but I decided to make it start sooner because I love this period). Today Juliette made a party, banquet and all, which she used to show off her now grown daughter (she aged up to be a toddler). She looks a lot like her dad Diderot, which Juliette doesn't like that much though. She also showed off her piano skills and even started writing a song. Her husband Diderot keeps having an affair with the maid, Brielle, who is head over heels in love with him. She saw him flirting with someone else at the party, though ! While Juliette and Diderot had an argument, she went to her room and cried herself to sleep :( It seems this family needs some joy in their life !

This is also awesome ! I loooove 1930s ambiance, I hope I can see some screenshots of your game at some point ! I agree that there is not enough content for historical play, sadly. I do use cc, because it really adds something, but I don't want to overload my game with those either :( It's also annoying that Sims keep using their phones all the time xD
@dawnmayer I have a medical condition that gives me 'brain fog' so I would forget that I had added CC and when there is an update I would forget how to take it off and re install it, I forget everything so I cant be trusted with mods and CC hehe! Oh the ruddy phones drives me crackers!! My sim sat there in her lovely 1930's suit and sensible shoes and stockings and she whips out her 21st century phone!!!

Oh, sorry to hear ! :( yeah, cc can be difficult to track, especially if you have a lot of it (and if you have bugs it is quite a nightmare to see which one is causing the problem). I hope in the future they add more historical content although I don't have much hopes haha I totally understand the struggle with the phones xD

But there was a sad air in the atmosphere; Brielle is still deeply in love with Diderot, and it doesn't help that she has to see him everyday. Furthermore, Juliette is sometimes cruel (Diderot is her husband, after all), and gives her the worst tasks.
She's found a new passion, however, that helps her deal with the harshness of life!

o.O "Icon Coming Soon" Okaaaay, now what do you suppose that means? Is it a placeholder for the new Nifty Knitting SP? Perhaps something for the new GP? Or maybe the 'small surprise' in the upcoming update/patch? I have no idea but I found it interesting that SO many Sims kept having this same thought bubble popping up. Maybe my game just needs to be repaired? It's just weird. Has anyone else saw this? Also, do your Sims keep thinking about trains too? Mine do.

Hitting it off really well as geeky friends, she invited him to be her roomate at the science-lair Calhouni residence. "There is a spare bed... or if you prefer, you could share my bed," Tamery hinted slyly to Erwin.
It is a beautiful warm autumn in Britechester. Patrik loves to practise yoga at his dorm garden. He does it to rest his mind.
He is taking four classes per semester so he usually has to run fast to his classes. He is very busy with studying.
At the end of a day he likes to grab some food his dormmates bring in and watch a TV with dormmates in his super cozy living room.

They arrived fast and with zero issues, stood around for a minute or so and then almost put all fires out. What they must have not noticed is that the roommate was on fire too, and the funny thing is that one of them walked to her while she was still on fire and jumbing around, told her that they were done doing their job or something like that, and then they left! Do they not extinguish sims on fire? is this not part of their job? i was so confused lol.

"I know. But, my Dad said it had to be cut before school. He just didn't say how short. I compromised."
"Huh," the photographer said. "Who did the chop job, eh?"
"The Chop Shop," Erik said, running a hand over his head, which felt light. "Won't go there again. Guess I should have taken a clue from their name. I think it's ruined. Going to have to go get a buzz cut, now."
"Oh, don't do that," Sharrie, the make-up artist said. "Stand still, and let me knock the shine off of your face, okay? And, really, it's not as bad as you think. I think you look as cute as ever."
"Well, thanks, that's kind of you to say. I do know when we went out to eat last night, it didn't seem to bother a particular fan …"

Penelope's garden is thriving here. None of the plants have reverted to dirt piles or lost quality levels.
Their cat Benny hasn't run away either. He loves his new home.
The only one who is not happy is Elwood.
They decided to have a baby.
"Honey, I'm pregnant."
Knox came to visit and because free love NAP is active also in this neighborhood, he kissed Penelope's neck in front of Elwood. Elwood didn't mind.
