I finally have teens in my Praaven game. Most of the children at Lady Gwyneth Pendragon´s home for children aged up!

Mary and Marisa´s mother Marla died recently (from childbirth), and Mary is a bit heartbroken. Gabriel, Summer and Autumn are all illegitimate royal offspring their mother Gabrielle the servant girl. Bron and Jolen are the illegitimate children of Lady Gwyneth´s son Lord Arthur Pendragon. It´s a mess really.
While Stuart was changing Thomas's diaper in the morning, I noticed that Jelly Bean, the imaginary friend doll, had escaped the crib! I only played with an IF doll once before, and I'm not sure I remember that happening. I placed Jelly Bean back into the crib.
I spotted a townie using a jet ski to cross the loch.
It was Friday and Love Day, meaning Tamsin would have a three day weekend. The family went to one of the parks.
Jasper met a rough collie called Lara and socialised with her.
During the following night, when Tamsin got up to feed Thomas, Jelly Bean was outside the crib again!
This time I won't put him back - I'm curious to see if he will stay in this spot.
Since Alex is away, Lindsey starts painting again. She has to do something to keep her mind off it.
Mona has a nightmare, in this one she dreamt of a man in her father's counter terrorist gear(the one where you see nothing of him). constantly hid around corners to scare her.(Silly dream but most nightmares are as well). Her mother comforts her.
Lindsey receives news to come to the hospital. Apparently her mother collapsed at her home and she's not doing well. By the time Lindsey arrives her mother was pronounced dead from old age.
As the family has time to grieve, Alex is far away from the event.
On the North Island, Alex and all of A squadron attack the house with the hostages(the red star). The initial attack uses surprise to catch the pirates off guard and they reach the hostages before any are killed or injured. The pirates attempted a counter attack and a 4 hour firefight ensued, at the end of it. The house is taken as well as some land further south to allow movement. The house also provides cliff access, meaning that helicopters can finally reach the Island, providing crucial resupplies and being able to move hostages and injuries off the island to the more advanced medical care on the helicopter carrier.(no men lost and 12 wounded from the fight, whereas the pirates lose over 30 men and injure more than 60).
The second event that occurs with A,B, and C squadron is the capturing of the outposts Wehe North and South to the West(purple circles). Pushing ever further to the west of the Island, A Squadron unfortunately lost a man at Wehe South, Lance-Corporal Finlay Booth from Boat Squadron. Only 32 years old and with 3 children. The only reassurance is that his body will be transported back home.
It's been a week and the family has started to recover back to normal, although Ryan still shows occasional signs of being sad. The
Painting is really helping Lindsey, she is finding it much easier to cope with Alex being away,although as the first image shows she still doesn't like it. A hobby makes it much easier.

Wisteria cleans up her mess and fixes herself a decent meal. (I had to change her little kitchen around as I forgot the uni fridge can't be 'cooked' from. I put the small fridge in from one of the SP's and gave her a cook space by adding a cabinet. She can only use recipes for the cook top since she doesn't have an oven.) After eating she cleans up her mess so she won't have stinky dishes later on and decides to practice her painting. While painting her mind wanders back to those dreams and how she felt when she woke up. She is looking back now and it doesn't seem as scary dancing through the woods and being kissed like that by that handsome fairy.
Dedric's prank pays off. Magenta is not Adam's color.
Alice needs to practice her magic so she decides to do a simple charm spell on Jennifer. Jennifer has been a victim of many of Alice's bungled spells when she was younger. She automatically curls up and tries to make herself as small as possible. The spell is successful. Alice rarely fails now. Jennifer is happy and feeling very lucky today.
Alice and Jennifer go to the Fae Rae Arboretum to see if they can pick up any clues about the destiny of the Willowisp family. They enjoyed wandering around in the fantastic fairy land following the trails and pathways and exploring various caves and log tunnels. It was a fun visit, but no clues were found. Jennifer was a bit disappointed since she was feeling particularly lucky and only found a few seeds during their explorations. She decides she will give them to Dedric who can either study the seeds or plant them.
Marshall and Dedric go back to the vault for one final look to be sure they didn't miss anything. Adam will join them later.
Adam is still working on a potion discovery and will join up with his friends later. He finally discovers a new potion....liguid horror. He gets on his laptop and goes through his notes that he took from his discussions with Victor and Rafe. He runs across a few of the names of the Werewolf clans in Moonlight Falls. Hmmm, I do need to contact the werewolves in town he thinks to himself. He calls Dedric and finds out they are done at the vault. Dedric tells him where to meet up.
The guys decide that they need some spiffing up since their ladies got new hairdo's. It must have been men's day at the spa and they all finished at the same time. Adam got his hair trimmed and Dedric got his cut and styled. Marshall decided he didn't want anything done to his hair. He got a special skin treatment. (Adam's is the same hair he had, just a retexture that I hope controls what I call the 'see thru hair effect' with certain angles and close ups. Dedric got a new style and will show a closer picture later. Marshall's got a new skin I wanted to try. )
Adam excuses himself and tells his friends he will see them later. He arrives at Pappy Wolff's home and introduces himself. Pappy takes one sniff of Adam and immediately tells him. "Get off my property you no good, rotten, scum of the earth, low down by product of Drogo! Adam is taken aback by the sudden verbal attack on him and tries to calm Pappy down.
"All I hear is blah, blah, blah."
"I might be old, but I can still take on a whippersnapper like you."
Adam finally convinces the old man to take another sniff, a deeper one this time. "I'm not going to fight an old man so just take another sniff and use your instincts and all your senses this time."
Pappy stops his screeching and sniffs deeply and does it a second time and a third. "This cannot be!" he shouts. "It's a trick! But....I've always been the best sniffer in the clan. I can find things hidden miles deep that others cannot sense! It is only a legend, a story to tell the pups to scare them before bedtime about the WereFae!" He looks at Adam's face and eyes and realizes his senses are not wrong. He is looking at the legendary WereFae. He stumbles a bit as realization sets in. "But, you stink of Drogo, who was a lowdown, no account varmint of the lowest order when he was alive. How can this be?"
Adam leads him over to a chair and sits him down. He tells Pappy his story. He asks about the legend as he has not heard of it before. Victor nor Rafe mentioned anything about a legend involving a hybrid werewolf and fairy. Pappy tells him that his Grandfer told him the story when he was just a pup. "Were stories were never written down, but passed from generation to generation by the storytellers. I've told my son the stories and he told his son and so it was through the ages. It is a new age now and things are being written down, but some stories are missed or lost because story tellers die or forget. I'm old now and I forget things, but I know I told my son the story. He can tell you the story better than I can."
Adam thanks him, shakes his hand and using the mind meld techniques he learned at university he reaches out and joins minds with Pappy Wolff. What a jumble of thoughts in that brain. No wonder Pappy doesn't remember things very well anymore thinks Adam. Pappy calls his son to let him know that Adam will be contacting him so he will not be attacked since he still stinks of Drogo who was not at all loved by the other were clans. (For those that don't know the history....Drogo is Adam's werewolf sire. He was raised to believe he was his father. He was an evil werewolf whose clan attacked humans and other were clans and was shunned by other werewolf clans. He was killed in a raid and Drogo's brother Benot took over the clan and Adam was banished as a child to survive or die on his own. He survived and made his way to Midnight Hollow as he had heard it was a town friendly to occult peoples.)
Mikezumi was a little stir crazy so I woke her when I loaded my save at 3am and sent her fishing.

Keanu's waking wish was to prepare a meal. They only had one serve of pancakes left so pancakes it was!

Mikezumi was checking the mail when an actual townie toddler arrived! His name is Abel Crumplebottom and he is the son of Jules MacDuff and Bianca Crumplebottom. His parents must have been busy and he was dropped off by Belinda Harris. Mikezumi got a Science Research Station and a pool table as gifts from happy parents
I gave Abel a quick makeover. I am not touching genetics as you can see by his frightfully short nose!

@coco I have downloaded lots of eyebrows over the years and some, although not the best, I have kept because there's always at least one sim they will suit. The Brntwaffle ones, however, were a total loss and had to be removed instantly!
I really like the Blueberry Pie skin although I don't know how much I will use it because the nose line is a little too pronounced for my taste and I prefer subtle detailing. I really like the eye corners on it, though.

Thanks! I normally don't go for noses like that.But I tried to to avoid doing "same look" type sim.I closed my eyes and clicked ten random times, and whatever nose I got, was the nose I would use with a little tweak.XD It was because of the kiss.He scared her away.Plus she's not from that time period.

Hey everyone! I got so caught up with real life events I haven't been able to play sims or come on here. Now that I'm on summer break, I have a sudden urge to play sims so I'll be returning and providing updates with my new legacy challenge! I missed nearly 150 pages of posts and it'll be difficult for me to catch up, but I wanna say thanks so much for the feedback and I'll be sure to leave feedback on everyone's stories from here on until I get busy again (: On a funny note, I completely forgot that I restarted the legacy challenge and was super happy to read back through three of my updates to remember what was going on ^_^
Things are starting to return to normal, Lindsey receives some news, both good and bad. The good news is that Alex is home (very early), the bad is he got seriously injured.
She says hi to him, it was scary but he's feeling a little better, and is certainly happy to have come back to her. What happened is that during a patrol on the West end of the island his convoy got caught by a pirate ambush. The pirates had a GPMG(Machine gun) which was able to penetrate his bulletproof vest, the bullet went through the vest and stopped just as it penetrated his left lung, throwing him out of the car in the process. On his way back he had an operation to remove the bullet and fix the damage. His chest as shown in the last image still has frequent bouts of pain, but he's alive and will get better.
And some bouts of coughing as well, still irritation at the wound. But a nice warm bubble bath will make him feel better, he hasn't had this for weeks, so it's very relaxing.
He says hi to all his kids.
Evelyn notices there's something wrong with him, she asks him and he tells her he's fine, just fell and hurt his chest while he was away(they're both technically true, although the "fall" was more being thrown 5 feet out of the wrong side of the car.
Jack-O-Lanterns are made, and his chest still has bouts of pain. He'll be seeing the doctor soon to double check on this.
Trick-or-treating as well as setting up the decorations for the Fall Feast.
The painting of a Robin was made by Lindsey while Alex was away.
Alex visits the doctor with Lindsey, the doctor informs him that he's recovering well, and that within a week the pain should be gone mostly if not completely, he doesn't want to give him any medications for the pain besides the current ones because that would remove him from the Army for 1 season.
Fall feast and a trick-or-treater.(Some families have the feast before spooky day, whereas others trick or treat 1 day before spooky day and have the feast on Spooky day, where Alex comes from which is an Island off Morocco, it's the latter).

@GraceyManor Not sure if you already got a solution about the chat thing. That happened in my old legacy challenge unfortunately with Jared Frio. Except for me the only options I did have with him were "Learn about the Almanac of Time" and "Take romantic selfie" (or whatever, it's been so long since ive played.) I ended up having to delete Jared Frio's complete character file from that save and pull a past save Jared Frio out and put him back into the family. Unfortunately I didn't account for my sim breaking up with current Jared before I had her start dating past Jared so even though they were the same person my sim got accused of cheating and such xD The save ended up having so many issues I decided to start fresh, but the above works as a solution, just not a very good one at that. Sorry about such a long paragraph lmao but besides the point, great updates! Love the pictures and medieval outfits and town!

Ryan hasn't had a proper night out in a very long time. He usually just hangs out with Rachel or by himself or he's at work. SO he decided to go to his favorite bar, The Flying Weinie. When he went there, he spotted his best work friend, Tessa West. After a greeting, the friends made some small talk. Tessa wanted to play pool and Ryan joined her. A little while later, his old friends, Wes and Laurel, joined the game.
After a couple of games, the friends got bored and decided to go downstairs. There, Ryan and Tessa's boss, Michael, was singing at the karaoke machine. He had a half-decent voice. Two hours later, they joined the karaoke contest as well. Competition was tight.
The winner of karaoke night is.....
It must've been the Elvis-type move at the beginning of the performance.
After a few more minutes of partying, he drove Tessa home. Then he went home and told Rachel everything.

(Adam's is the same hair he had, just a retexture that I hope controls what I call the 'see thru hair effect' with certain angles and close ups. Dedric got a new style and will show a closer picture later. Marshall's got a new skin I wanted to try.
Adam excuses himself and tells his friends he will see them later. He arrives at Pappy Wolff's home and introduces himself. Pappy takes one sniff of Adam and immediately tells him. "Get off my property you no good, rotten, scum of the earth, low down by product of Drogo! Adam is taken aback by the sudden verbal attack on him and tries to calm Pappy down.
"All I hear is blah, blah, blah."
"I might be old, but I can still take on a whippersnapper like you."
Adam finally convinces the old man to take another sniff, a deeper one this time. "I'm not going to fight an old man so just take another sniff and use your instincts and all your senses this time."
Pappy stops his screeching and sniffs deeply and does it a second time and a third. "This cannot be!" he shouts. "It's a trick! But....I've always been the best sniffer in the clan. I can find things hidden miles deep that others cannot sense! It is only a legend, a story to tell the pups to scare them before bedtime about the WereFae!" He looks at Adam's face and eyes and realizes his senses are not wrong. He is looking at the legendary WereFae. He stumbles a bit as realization sets in. "But, you stink of Drogo, who was a lowdown, no account varmint of the lowest order when he was alive. How can this be?"
Adam leads him over to a chair and sits him down. He tells Pappy his story. He asks about the legend as he has not heard of it before. Victor nor Rafe mentioned anything about a legend involving a hybrid werewolf and fairy. Pappy tells him that his Grandfer told him the story when he was just a pup. "Were stories were never written down, but passed from generation to generation by the storytellers. I've told my son the stories and he told his son and so it was through the ages. It is a new age now and things are being written down, but some stories are missed or lost because story tellers die or forget. I'm old now and I forget things, but I know I told my son the story. He can tell you the story better than I can."
Adam thanks him, shakes his hand and using the mind meld techniques he learned at university he reaches out and joins minds with Pappy Wolff. What a jumble of thoughts in that brain. No wonder Pappy doesn't remember things very well anymore thinks Adam. Pappy calls his son to let him know that Adam will be contacting him so he will not be attacked since he still stinks of Drogo who was not at all loved by the other were clans.
(For those that don't know the history....Drogo is Adam's werewolf sire. He was raised to believe he was his father. He was an evil werewolf whose clan attacked humans and other were clans and was shunned by other werewolf clans. He was killed in a raid and Drogo's brother Benot took over the clan and Adam was banished as a child to survive or die on his own. He survived and made his way to Midnight Hollow as he had heard it was a town friendly to occult peoples.)

Mikezumi was checking the mail when an actual townie toddler arrived! His name is Abel Crumplebottom and he is the son of Jules MacDuff and Bianca Crumplebottom. His parents must have been busy and he was dropped off by Belinda Harris. Mikezumi got a Science Research Station and a pool table as gifts from happy parents
I gave Abel a quick makeover. I am not touching genetics as you can see by his frightfully short nose!

@coco I have downloaded lots of eyebrows over the years and some, although not the best, I have kept because there's always at least one sim they will suit. The Brntwaffle ones, however, were a total loss and had to be removed instantly!
I really like the Blueberry Pie skin although I don't know how much I will use it because the nose line is a little too pronounced for my taste and I prefer subtle detailing. I really like the eye corners on it, though.

Things are starting to return to normal, Lindsey receives some news, both good and bad. The good news is that Alex is home (very early), the bad is he got seriously injured.
She says hi to him, it was scary but he's feeling a little better, and is certainly happy to have come back to her. What happened is that during a patrol on the West end of the island his convoy got caught by a pirate ambush. The pirates had a GPMG(Machine gun) which was able to penetrate his bulletproof vest, the bullet went through the vest and stopped just as it penetrated his left lung, throwing him out of the car in the process. On his way back he had an operation to remove the bullet and fix the damage. His chest as shown in the last image still has frequent bouts of pain, but he's alive and will get better.
And some bouts of coughing as well, still irritation at the wound. But a nice warm bubble bath will make him feel better, he hasn't had this for weeks, so it's very relaxing.
He says hi to all his kids.
Evelyn notices there's something wrong with him, she asks him and he tells her he's fine, just fell and hurt his chest while he was away(they're both technically true, although the "fall" was more being thrown 5 feet out of the wrong side of the car.
Jack-O-Lanterns are made, and his chest still has bouts of pain. He'll be seeing the doctor soon to double check on this.
Trick-or-treating as well as setting up the decorations for the Fall Feast.

Alex visits the doctor with Lindsey, the doctor informs him that he's recovering well, and that within a week the pain should be gone mostly if not completely, he doesn't want to give him any medications for the pain besides the current ones because that would remove him from the Army for 1 season.
Fall feast and a trick-or-treater.(Some families have the feast before spooky day, whereas others trick or treat 1 day before spooky day and have the feast on Spooky day, where Alex comes from which is an Island off Morocco, it's the latter).

@GraceyManor Not sure if you already got a solution about the chat thing. That happened in my old legacy challenge unfortunately with Jared Frio. Except for me the only options I did have with him were "Learn about the Almanac of Time" and "Take romantic selfie" (or whatever, it's been so long since ive played.) I ended up having to delete Jared Frio's complete character file from that save and pull a past save Jared Frio out and put him back into the family. Unfortunately I didn't account for my sim breaking up with current Jared before I had her start dating past Jared so even though they were the same person my sim got accused of cheating and such xD The save ended up having so many issues I decided to start fresh, but the above works as a solution, just not a very good one at that. Sorry about such a long paragraph lmao but besides the point, great updates! Love the pictures and medieval outfits and town!

Ryan hasn't had a proper night out in a very long time. He usually just hangs out with Rachel or by himself or he's at work. SO he decided to go to his favorite bar, The Flying Weinie. When he went there, he spotted his best work friend, Tessa West. After a greeting, the friends made some small talk. Tessa wanted to play pool and Ryan joined her. A little while later, his old friends, Wes and Laurel, joined the game.
After a couple of games, the friends got bored and decided to go downstairs. There, Ryan and Tessa's boss, Michael, was singing at the karaoke machine. He had a half-decent voice. Two hours later, they joined the karaoke contest as well. Competition was tight.
The winner of karaoke night is.....
It must've been the Elvis-type move at the beginning of the performance.
After a few more minutes of partying, he drove Tessa home. Then he went home and told Rachel everything.
