Funny how strange things are happening in that world in my save that don't happen in yours and vice versa.
Do you play through Origin? That could be why our issues are different as I use disks.
@king_of_simcity7 thanks. So have I, but this sim was significant to the game and the background was pretty - but in the end I posted a close up of him and the background sort of wasn't there any more. Sorry.
@ZhakiraP that university mascot looks so cheerful as he walks for hours along a non road just so he can interrupt your game by delivering irrelevant stuff.

Maybe I might get rid of that annoying mascot in some of my games. Problem is I'll forget about it until after he delivers the sudden jump back to the house and once that's done he is generally gone. His bucket(s) of goodies can be deleted or not - depending on how much they annoy.
@bekkasan your Midnight Hollow looks very bright and sunny. I will need to try a lighting mod in that world one day. Haven't yet. I like the world but not the lack of light. At least the interior of the houses can be made much lighter with a repaint. There is plenty of light there, it is just absorbed by the dark colour of the environment.
I think I'll continue working on my next video today - among many other things

And not only that issue, but Arthur can't "chat' with Sabrina.The option doesn't come up.But he gets the options with other sims and vice versa she doesn't get the option to chat with him, but has the chat option with other sims.

It does look as if things are getting serious....at least on Arthur's side. I don't know what to suggest about the chat thing. Did you try resetting her, evicting her and replacing her? I know people have said that will help sometimes.

Wasn't on the sims today, but yesterday I went on my first made sim, Ruby Holmes. She just became an adult sim and didn't even have a soulmate yet! I found Jared Frio with Nraas Tagger mod and sent them on a date in the park. Unfortunately, I thought it'd be fun to have Ruby set off a firework for the 4th of July and Jared was not pleased.
Also, maybe just a coincidence... but the 3 times so far I had Ruby hang out with Jared, Madison VanWatson came over and got into a heated argument with Jared. What's her problem? (I checked with a Nraas mod and saw she had the snob trait)
"Your Majesty, Lady Elenor and Lord Edmund has extended an invitation for you to come visit them." "Thank you Paul, please respond with I'd love to.Sabrina, I want you to come with me." "Are you sure Arthur? I'm not nobility or royalty." He smiled."Yet." "What's that mean?" "You'll see."
A week later, they're ready to travel to Lord Edmund's Kingdom for a visit.
"I don't really like boats Arthur." "I can tell.You're okay.I won't let anything happen."
It took 3 weeks to travel across the sea.But they finally reached Lord Edmund's Kingdom.
"Maker's breath! Sabrina I can't keep up." "Oh well." She laughed as she raced on."

It's annoying that you can't show Adam's fairy powers without giving him wings. I wonder how hybrids work. I don't mind sims having the shy trait if it makes them act realistic. I was surprised to find Craven likes giving sims the unflirty trait too

I would love to know if this boat is functional @DeafSimmer I didn't think that Isla Paradiso was too huge of a world compared to the others. It's just riddled with routing errors which causes the lag. I read your conversation with Karritz and I think a dog would be a great thing for you. My dog is a schnoodle (miniature schnauzer x poodle), she's little, doesn't shed fur, doesn't need everyday exercise like the bigger dogs and she makes me smile all the time. Dogs are so good for therapy and mental health I swear @Karritz Thank you I hope I am able to play more now too. I had some Error 12 problems a while ago that ruined my enjoyment, and when I did take pictures I took so many that it takes me a long time to get around writing words for it. I don't usually bother giving other houses makeovers unless my sims visit a lot. I don't like houses only having base game content as it usually looks very ugly and boring. I think it would be different if I took videos like you do, as you would have to be very mindful of the space. I've spent majority of my gameplay playing in a little lot in Sunset Valley so I don't mind small rooms for my sims, they are easier to decorate too @Silverofdreams30 I'm glad that you had a good day. I don't think I could manage using a laptop that way @PalmArrow He looks so handsome, you did a great job on him! Direct sun does affect shadows on the face which is why I do indoor photoshoots so I can control the direction of the lighting. The boat looks fantastic and I'm glad it's functional @GraceyManor Arthur is a good distraction for Sabrina's sadness. I like Arthur's playing in the water clothes, haven't seen that it before. The main message I remember is that babies literally rely on their parents for everything, and then they get older and suddenly you start asking questions about who you are and what will you do now. But there's a bright side because teenagers have a much different and in more ways more special relationship with their parent. It comes with a bit of CC, not as much as you would expect looking at the world, but don't worry...it's all safe.

The medieval Zzz's is a mod I found when scouring around. Because Sims Medieval had Zzz's like that someone converted it.
@GraceyManor I love seeing your medieval screenshots. I've never tried a medieval game in TS3 but I do play The Sims Medieval and really enjoy it. Maybe I'll give it a go in TS3 sometime, your screenshots have inspired me!
I don't often post here but I do enjoy seeing everyone's updates. I love that the TS3 community is still going strong as it's my favorite Sims game!
I played my Alpine County save tonight and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth my game was running. I don't normally have too many issues but Alpine County is a HUGE world and normally I haven't been able to play it for more than a couple hours at a time without it crashing. I tried playing offline and disabling memories and tonight I was able to play that massive world for several hours without any issues. Here are a few of screenshots I wanted to share:

@coco , the sailboat in my picture was just my own recouloring of the IP sailboat to make it look Polynesian (I wanted no CC in the version of Makoa I'm going to keep in my library and upload to the exchange), but I'm very flattered that it looked at first glance like a completely new object!
This is the converted outrigger from ATS3 in use - I love how it looks!
Since it functions like a TS3 sailboat, the sim doesn't actually move the oar, and the other hand hovers a little above the side of the boat if you look closely, but it took me a while to notice that!

I did put ports around the other parts of Praaven.But not in these pictures.King Arthru and Sabrina literally traveled to another world.I used the traveler mod to enable pets traveling.I have multiple medieval worlds in stored and have plans on using them for different things.

@coco I don't even remember if I've used shy on any one of my sims because I grew up with a terminal case of shyness and don't want to inflict that even on sims. But, I decided to leave it to see what it did. She is 'technically' part of the household in order to control her, but lives in the fairy house and does not interact with them yet. She still gets the shy moodlet at times when they are all on the property, and it says from being around people who are not 'friends'. No one has met yet so they don't have a relationship at all. It should be interesting as she starts meeting them.....I hope.
oh....I like the idea of no shedding. Your dog sounds precious. I still find patches of cat hair on stuff! I would probably go with a small dog if I decide to get one.
Thanks so much for the comments. I think Dedric needs to not be so serious and scientific all the time, so it is fun seeing his fairy playfulness come out. I love that train set and found out pretty early on what it did as Supernatural was the first EP hubby got me with the base game. He knew I would love the occult world and he was right.

It's annoying that you can't show Adam's fairy powers without giving him wings. I wonder how hybrids work. I don't mind sims having the shy trait if it makes them act realistic. I was surprised to find Craven likes giving sims the unflirty trait too

@PalmArrow Thank you! My rule of thumb is that if there's an empty corner or patch of wall just put an end table or some sort of shelving, artwork or plants there and it will liven the space up

@DeafSimmer I didn't think that Isla Paradiso was too huge of a world compared to the others. It's just riddled with routing errors which causes the lag. Sunlit Tides is stunning, I'm glad you can enjoy it with your pc

I read your conversation with Karritz and I think a dog would be a great thing for you. My dog is a schnoodle (miniature schnauzer x poodle), she's little, doesn't shed fur, doesn't need everyday exercise like the bigger dogs and she makes me smile all the time. Dogs are so good for therapy and mental health I swear

@PalmArrow He looks so handsome, you did a great job on him! Direct sun does affect shadows on the face which is why I do indoor photoshoots so I can control the direction of the lighting. The boat looks fantastic and I'm glad it's functional
@GraceyManor Arthur is a good distraction for Sabrina's sadness. I like Arthur's playing in the water clothes, haven't seen that it before. I don't think Sabrina has a choice not to like Camelot lol. The kiss at the end was so cute, great pose

Is Arthur's horse a unicorn? Your sims are always falling off horses lol. Funny that Arthur still doesn't like her calling him King even when he is one now. This smile is adorable. I think he wants to ask for her hand in marriage and Sabrina is totally clueless. I bet she would turn him down and say that he belongs with Guinevere or some nonsense
Geez is Sabrina intentionally not getting the hint or what haha. The boat just looks amazing. Looks like the boat ride affected Arthur more than Sabrina. The castle looks really nice!

The medieval Zzz's is a mod I found when scouring around. Because Sims Medieval had Zzz's like that someone converted it.
I don't often post here but I do enjoy seeing everyone's updates. I love that the TS3 community is still going strong as it's my favorite Sims game!
I played my Alpine County save tonight and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth my game was running. I don't normally have too many issues but Alpine County is a HUGE world and normally I haven't been able to play it for more than a couple hours at a time without it crashing. I tried playing offline and disabling memories and tonight I was able to play that massive world for several hours without any issues. Here are a few of screenshots I wanted to share:

This is the converted outrigger from ATS3 in use - I love how it looks!
Since it functions like a TS3 sailboat, the sim doesn't actually move the oar, and the other hand hovers a little above the side of the boat if you look closely, but it took me a while to notice that!

I forgot to check if it's possible for more than one to be on the sailboat, and if so, where the others would sit.

I did put ports around the other parts of Praaven.But not in these pictures.King Arthru and Sabrina literally traveled to another world.I used the traveler mod to enable pets traveling.I have multiple medieval worlds in stored and have plans on using them for different things.

@coco I don't even remember if I've used shy on any one of my sims because I grew up with a terminal case of shyness and don't want to inflict that even on sims. But, I decided to leave it to see what it did. She is 'technically' part of the household in order to control her, but lives in the fairy house and does not interact with them yet. She still gets the shy moodlet at times when they are all on the property, and it says from being around people who are not 'friends'. No one has met yet so they don't have a relationship at all. It should be interesting as she starts meeting them.....I hope.
oh....I like the idea of no shedding. Your dog sounds precious. I still find patches of cat hair on stuff!
Thanks so much for the comments. I think Dedric needs to not be so serious and scientific all the time, so it is fun seeing his fairy playfulness come out. I love that train set and found out pretty early on what it did as Supernatural was the first EP hubby got me with the base game. He knew I would love the occult world
