You all know what - I don't care about none of these complaints - don't care at all. All I care about is we have toddlers - all the rest just don't matter any more. WE HAVE TODDLERS!!!!!!! YES YES YES. My world, MY SIMS GAMES - has been made wonderful again. NO complaints from me.
I actually feel whole again. Does that make sense? My mind keeps telling me - it's just a game - Shut up head! it's the Sims... and it's made right again. I can handle anything they dish out now with no issues. Watch me enjoy Sims 4 now!!!!!! Way to go Gurus - YES. THANK YOU SO much!

Funny thing about this for me is I was just literally reading what Graham said few years ago about Toddlers in TS4 and was sadden because I had a lot of hope back then.
Graham: I was commenting with one of our designers just this morning how it leaves the door open for pre-teens nicely. Don’t know if that will actually happen – toddlers would certainly be the first priority for us when considering how to expand the game.

I am in the best kind of shock. I am very invested in my TS2 game right now, but this addition means that I will be reinstalling TS4 as well. I keep thinking it's some kind of prank but I am quite literally over the moon.
Toddlers will not fix the underlying issues that I have with this game and its gameplay, but I am so looking forward to seeing what they've done with them

It was so important to so many people and it's like a war is over to me. I'm an old lady and this was so important to me, too. I had given up all hope at all. I'm so happy I can't do anything but cry. It was so frustrating trying to play families and no toddler age which is the most important age to me in the game to build that attachment to the child Sim and beyond. I just can't believe they are so cute, and they have their own skills and abilities. I just can't believe it.

I'm able to do a little testing before I have to work.
So far they're the cutest things ever. Love the cas outfits and hair.
They also start off knowing how to walk, or "toddle" which I don't mind, they will sometimes lose their balance haha and I assume they get better as they gain movement skill
I'm huge on sim food, so I'm happy to see the new options for our toddlers like animal crackers and chicken nuggets.
And I just had my first tantrum x]
