@rosemow Thanks Rose! It's good to hear from you again!

So I know this is like the 50th version of this house I released lol, but I just HAD to put in a hot tub from the new stuff pack! Here's the new backyard from "Casa Bella V"

The backyard of Casa Bella V is so very nice! :) The pool is very nice! The fish fountains look very nice on the edge of the pool. Sims will have fun swimming in the pool, or enjoy relaxing poolside in the sunshine on the armchairs. They will enjoy sitting at the umbrella covered table chatting as well. The floor lights look nice around the edges of the pool. The hot tub gazebo looks so very nice! The roofing is very nice! It looks very nice how you have done the steps up to the gazebo! The pedestals with plants on them either sides of the steps look nice. Sims will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. The drinks bucket is a nice touch on the side of the tub. Very nice outdoors cooking and dining patio gazebo too! Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the BBQ and sitting at the dining table eating the food, enjoying dining in the outdoors air. The candle light is pretty on the table. The tongs and sauces are nice touches on the BBQ counter. Very nice bar counter area for sims to enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar, enjoying the outdoors views. Very nice nook area where sims can enjoy sitting near the firepit toasting food, chatting and keeping warm, enjoying the very nice setting of the flowers and plants there! The steps in the outdoors areas look very nice how you have placed them.
The outdoors backyard of the home is very nice! :)

Hey guys!! It's been so long since I've been on here! I haven't played the sims in quite some time, but since the release of Get Together, I am back and absolutely loving it! I think it's a fantastic expansion. What's more I LOVE all the new objects and build mode items! Needless to say, it has inspired me to start building again. I absolutely love building mansions, and now with the new 64x64 lots I have even more freedom to build the most massive ones possible! So I present to you my latest creation:

CHATEAU LYON (pronounced "lee-ohn"...it's french, y'know?)

This is by far the largest and most time-consuming home I have ever built in any of the sims games, and I am quite proud of it! I hope you all enjoy it as well. Take a look:

And while I designed this house on the 64x64 lot in the mountain area, with a few adjustments you can easily place it on the private island. Here's some shots of the gorgeous views! (I freaking love Windenburg!!)

    12-15-15_3-21-51nbspAM.png
    12-15-15_12-50-16nbspAM.png

And here's a final top down view so you can see the layout:

    Exterior:
    12-15-15_2-02-25nbspAM.png

    Second floor:
    12-15-15_2-03-03nbspAM.png

    First floor:
    12-15-15_2-03-06nbspAM.png

    Basement:
    12-15-15_2-03-15nbspAM.png

    And that's it!

And PLEASE! If you see anyone try to steal this and upload it as their own please please please comment on it and let others know. Or let me know. I have had a situation in the past where someone stole my lot, and Maxis favorited it, and it ended up getting twice the amount of downloads and favorites than the one I uploaded. I would very much like to avoid a repeat of that! I work extremely hard on these houses, so I'd greatly appreciate if you could help me out. I promise I'll do the same for you! :)

You can find this lot under the name "Chateau Lyon" in the gallery, under my username "grod4L". It requires Get to Work, Get Together, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Luxury Party Stuff, and Perfect Patio Stuff.

Enjoy and happy simming everyone! I'm glad to be back!

Chateau Lyon is such a very, very grand build! :) It is so very, very nice! The amount of details in the build, and the way that you have furnished each room and area of the home is so very, very nice! I have enjoyed looking at the pictures of the build, and our sims will very much enjoy living in the home! Each of the rooms and areas look so very nice! The two storey rooms looks so very great! The type of and placement of the curtains in each of the rooms of the home looks so very nice! The double levels of curtains and the chequered flooring in the ball room looks very nice! The placement of the furnishings gives such a very nice look in the build. There are lots of small and big features in the build. The butlers pantry and the indoor tennis court looks great! The home would have involved many enjoyable hours of simming work! .The exterior design of the home building looks so very, very nice! The landscaping work of the outdoors is so very nice! All of the build, both indoors and outside looks so very detailed and very nice! :)

Wow what a stunning chateau! The exterior design is very gorgeous with a great composition. The towers and chimneys stand out and create great focal points. The entryway colonnade is beautiful as well. The grounds are lovely and detailed. The gazebo is adorable! I'm impressed with how many unique rooms you fit in this. Each one is very detailed and fits its purpose well. I'd have to argue its the most complete mansion I have seen in the Sims, it really has it all! Excellent work, thanks for sharing

@sporkpatches Haha thank you so much!

@SpecterCody Thank you! I really did try to put every possible room in it, I figured with a 64x64 lot there's no excuse! Thanks for the compliment, it really encourages me :)

And while I designed this house on the 64x64 lot in the mountain area, with a few adjustments you can easily place it on the private island. Here's some shots of the gorgeous views! (I freaking love Windenburg!!)

@WrathofCath Forgive me for taking so long to respond, but thank you so much!!! I'm so glad you like the formal gardens, it's the first time I attempted such a thing! Thanks for your kind words :)

@Reddvelvett Wow thank you! I'm so glad you like it so much you are even going to buy the packs you don't have haha that's hilarious! And very flattering. Thank you so much!

@Cassee Thank you Cassee! You are too kind with your words! I am a huge perfectionist, so to hear that you think every room is a masterpiece is extremely encouraging! Although I have already changed a few rooms I didn't like, I'll be uploading another version soon haha. Thanks again!

    @dtl316 Thanks so much! :)

@deadncrispy Thank you! I'm glad you like the science lab, it was the most fun room to build for me!

Thanks so much everyone! I have been adjusting tons of things about this house, fixing bugs, changing things I didn't like/updating things, so I'll be uploading a new version pretty soon, probably after the next stuff pack comes out. I'll post pics when I do. And again, thank you so so so so SO MUCH for all your wonderful compliments and words of encouragement! It's things like that that make these houses worth building!

It is just that amazing and so beautiful. Every room is grand and breathtaking, a lovely creation to behold. I was not sure about Sims 4, but seeing the beautiful homes and how yours is so lovely I actually enjoy this game. I have loved the Sims for a minute, this just adds to that. I only wish they would add weather and cars.

@RyeCris16 Hey thank you so much! I really appreciate your support!

@Reddvelvett I have a few gripes with the Sims 4, but build mode is something they definitely hit the mark on. It's probably my favorite aspect of the game, I probably just build 80% of the time and play the other 20%. I'm sure once we get some more content the game will improve though. But thanks so much again!

Exactly, there are issues play wise but the building is on point. I just haven't learned to grasp it yet. But I still love my Sims 3 and 2.
