Yes picture taking. I once spent some time on getting the perfect picture of a kid. I made him dive in the pool a couple of times and went to Tab. Then it was hitting P-1-P-1-P-1-P-1-P-1-P-1 etc. you get the drill

but not after trying to find the perfect angle! Yes pictures can take quite some time

When you quote my comment just copy the part from the beginning to the end of the image code. It should paste into your comment that you already started okay.

If not, just copy the part between the img brackets (the same thing you get if you right click on your upload picture and choose "copy image location") and paste it in the little box that you get when clicking the down arrow next to the image of a page with the bent corner.

I have everything you all have put up so far rec'd

but I won't be able to download any until I have all my uploading done. I use a "build" file and a "play" file, and I don't like to switch them back and forth too much. Of course, maybe that means I'll justhave to put everything up tomorrow. LOL

@friendsfan367, it's time to slide your foot and make your small box a bit bigger. You can do this!
The more you do, the more you'll get comfortable with doing it.

Looking at the gifting threads that have already been done, you can see a pattern of sorts...
A message is written from YOU to your Buddy
A picture and a little description telling a bit more about the uploaded gift

When you break it down into easy-to-follow steps, you'll it more manageable and not as scary.

Oh, and FF... some of what ciane showed you just now is what I've been explaining via PM.

i was trying to get more pics but joy and sammy were more intrested in sticking their tounges out seriously joy kicked sammy out of the bathroom to do that.

Yep, practice makes perfect! Or so someone says.

When you open a new tab by right clicking, so you have more than one tab...
then it's easier too!
If you have your "my page" in one tab and the forum thread in another...
You switch to your my page tab and right click on your upload picture to open in new tab...
You get your studio upload to show...
Then you copy that URL that shows where you are on the internet at the time...
That's what you paste into the link image to provide a direct link to your upload.

Too confusing?

After pasting in the URL address so everyone can just click on that to go to your studio...
then just right click on that picture that shows that and choose that top option (I think) to "copy image location"

That gets pasted into the PAGE icon box that shows up when you click on the arrow by the page at top of a comment box.

I hope this makes sense. It's hard without pictures or video... though someone probably made a tutorial for it already.

Hello and apologies, it's almost midnight for me ... okay so about half an hour away ... and I'm sleepy after a day of tot watch.

Pop back to this post tomorrow and I'll have links to exchange uploads as well as a showcase thread, in the meantime I'm going to leave you with some teasers of things to come

First set of teasers are two sims, both are supernatural, and take into account that you like to start sims on their roads so they each have a short backstory as to how they got to be young adults with no skills or friends.

Each was given a turn at a small studio lot for their photo shoot. In Diedre's case when it was time for her to pose for her pool shot the paperboy decided to jump in too, and the mascot also showed up .....

Jian however had problems of another sort for his pool shots.

Each sim is specific to a certain town, and has a house available to them.
Diedre got to check the routing on this lot herself.

But for this lot, I borrowed the Funke family from the sim bin for the testing.

Since none of the above are a retro 50's/60's house, you won't be finding any 50's/60's orange furnishings.
