don't normally use that beard.... but wow it looks great... think they need to get a "sharp"/moderen home.... hmm then I need a free home for them... well there is still room for 1 so thats fine... jsut need to find it

I also gave them a bit of a back story. And as for traits, the dad is an overworked hothead who loves his family. The twins are opposites, one is studious (dark haired) and the other is a rebellious athletic party animal. The little boy is a computer whiz, inappropriate and neat.

Ok house is nearly done with them moved in. Just have some walls to paint, rooms to furnish and landscaping to do . .then the skills and I'll upload them all up together.
@bekkasan, yes I used the piece from the rollercoaster set with the curved arch. @MeaganJo used this for her fantastic steampunk build "Tinkerer's Roost" which I thought was pretty cool. The final version will have the pieces sit a bit lower under the platform - CFE threw them off a bit.

Hi there, @anettesb! This is quite a project you've undertaken. Hidden Springs is one of my favorite worlds, so I'm very interested in it. If you don't mind, I have a few questions. First off, I might have overlooked it, but do you somewhere have a list of the lots you have chosen to use? I thought it would help with knowing the style(s) you are going for.
Secondly, I have a house I'm currently working on and thought I'd run it by you to see if you're interested. It was for a contest, but I didn't finish on time (although the contest has not been officially closed yet). It is a very large family house with at least four bedrooms, a nursery and in-law suite, built on a 40x40 lot. It is pet-friendly, including a small stable and paddock, and will include many skill items. Here's the front view:
some things that are really hard to find is shops
the toy shop is in progress
but I have 4 more comercial lots
1 is to be Pascals shop
1 is to be the bike + car shop and petrol station inspiredby or a rebuild of the one in LP
the 2 others is more open... 1 could be the simfu acadamy, the other a big shop with difrent shops on difrent floors (electronic, gym equitment, music, art and hobby would be my ideas) or 1 of them could be a "hidden stencil shop"
for living space I'm haveing a hard time finding the right house for lot 5D
the thing is this lot is on the edge of both area B and C and D
it is a high end lot
but with the seince center in its back yeard it needs "sheltering" agains that viuw... and to profit on the lake to the other side... where the entrance is.... on top of that it is a 40x30 lot
I tried to edit the now and then manor... but that just didn't work... not for me any way...
hmm last lot didn't fit... is a little fine for other areas... but might have room for it any way as the upscale farm in area A.... but not my first choice....
Alright so the home is done and there are tons of pics lol. I hope you like the style of the home for them. I thought it could even be the father's family home that his parents left him.

the build reminds me a bit of 70's homes in Denmark... and thats great missing that style in town.... and it floads well witht he lots near the one you picked...
Yeah I can do an old nursery. I kinda winged the style haha, but glad you like it and that it will fit in well. Yeah the kitchen is one of my faves.

- Easy routing
- Season safe
- Activities for all ages, in other words stuff for the sims to do.
- 1 or more items that helps a skill, in the end I like the skilling and activity objects in the difrent homes to reflect the home, and be difrent from building to building.
how that is done... up to the builder... and in many cases I have jsut added the extra bed or crib if I found it on the exchange
the reason for this bed count is my mod, that have the avarage number of children set to 3.... and give me a warning if missign a bed, crib or pet bed
and I actually have quite a few families that grow bigger than the avarage...
I really like the book case you used in the dads study... I love it, but rarely use it for some reason.
Hi, last test uploaded fine with taking out the music area. I'm sorry I thought you wanted instruments in for the teens.
Here is a pic of that area. I used a few desk pieces and moved some of the furniture over. Made a little reading area with the bookcase from KP pack. I actually like most of the furniture that came with that pack. Not the clothes though I'd also tried to find a place for the T-rex before and didn't have room for it in the downstairs area. So, it found a place above the desks I added some overhead lights in the other furniture area as it was pretty dark, but forgot to take a pic.
How about Jakob's Toy Box? I was looking up Danish names and liked the sound and older spelling of Jakob with the K instead of C.

I can see kids about to start school going "MOM I want THAT desk"
I so wish kids could use the tea set, but it fits perfectly on the lot... and now perent can grab a cup of tea as the kids play and make a wish list....

but main house need to enjoy the lake
So the entrance needs to be at the red line but enjoy the lake? It could be an L shape or having a walk out on the and side of the lake with some outdoor space. Maybe a wall of windows on that side too? So you can enjoy the lake.
