I use a controller. I got a mouse and keyboard but I'm not in a proper sitting position to use them so I stick to controller. Now if they could update the control scheme, that would be great...
I don't think it is available for Mac just yet either. I just got this MacBook a couple weeks ago so I'm still new to all the Mac stuff haha It seems odd you can't purchase more than 1 pack at a time though.
Thanks for the update. I haven't used any of the makeup sliders so I have no clue. I also still can't just zoom in on my Sims face in CAS and select X to bring up the proper menu on the right hand side. It still brings up all the outfit menus instead of the face, hair and head menus. I have to click on my Sims face and…
$5 isn't expensive but when they drop 9 kits that total practically the cost of an expansion with significantly less content (not just in CAS and Build/Buy content but no new world or gameplay either. And Bust the Dust is the only "gameplay" kit out of 9). So yes, in the grand scheme of things, $5/Kit is extremely…
$5/Kit adds up... We already have what is it, 9 kits total (that includes upcoming menswear Kit) which is $45 in kits alone. That's the practically a full Expansion price for significantly less content. Content not just referring to CAS and BB items but gameplay features, world addition, etc.
I do understand your frustration but I also don't think it makes total sense to be okay with previously exclusive to pack content being added to base game but not this window. If the window was included with the kit and you paid for it, it would be even more frustrating to then see it released to everyone for free at a…
Agreed! While we're at it can they turn down the pixels when Sims are nude? haha It's always driven me crazy at how obnoxiously big they are. If they take a bath they practically cover their face.
I wish I had you will power haha The Sims 4 is the last series of Sims games I'll be collecting. It's also the first Sims franchise game I haven't bought all the packs on release day or pre-ordered but rather wait for a sale.
I believe it was announced that they are like the chicken coop from Sims 3 Store where you place the stable/barn (whatever it's called haha) and you purchase the llamas and cows through the building. 1 cow/llama per building.
I totally get what you're saying but I just don't think they can create Kits and claim them to be super narrow in scope (like Bust The Dust) and create a County Kitchen set then release an expansion that expands on the country aesthetic. A player could hate country style decor and still want vacuums in their game but to…
Yeah I've gone through this with my Dream Home Decorator costing more post. It's not taxes... They've just been raising the prices of packs in Canada without any explanation. And it's only the newer packs. All older packs are the traditional pricing.
Please don't clog up this thread with nonsense. If you have something to contribute to the conversation than by all means share. This snarky comment doesn't further the conversation.
I think for a lot of people, myself included, I'm frustrated with it in the sense that they've already created the items so just put them in the pack. Same with the Country Kitchen Kit. They made it knowing full well they were releasing a Cottage style pack that it would fit perfectly with. We could have just had two new…
Thanks for sharing! I'm happy it's something you can actually use. I do love clutter objects but I love objects your Sims can actually interact with more.
Oh I would be fuming if they expected you to buy the Country Kitchen Kit instead of including a kitchen haha I still see the Kits turning into DLC for DLC though with this new expansion.
I said sometimes but The Sims 4 worlds just aren't big enough to really immerse yourself into. While I like that you can travel from world to world, the issue for me is that most worlds are so different that things start to look out of place when they all mesh together. For example you have Sims that live in Sulani showing…
It is nice to see that children and toddlers weren't completely left out in the dark. and I didn't even clue into the child cooking haha I've always wished they would bring back the little baking oven from The Sims 2 for children to learn to cook. I think the skills in The Sims 4 were poorly implemented.
Let me correct myself haha I hate the voice overs and am happy they got rid of it for this trailer haha I just mean with DHD I remember watching the trailer and thinking, "oh this looks interesting and I like the objects and such" and it at least caught my attention haha
I think they cows and llamas will be objects and you'll have to have 1 stable per animal. That's just what I'm gathering. And I agree, the buildings are a very specific style so they will most likely look out of place in most other worlds.
I totally get you and feel the exact same way haha While The Sims 4 isn't my favorite and I have a lot of issues with it, it doesn't mean I want it to fail. I want each new release to be amazing but the track record is just, not good...
When I saw the title I thought it seemed a little too focused for an Expansion as well. Not that's it's terribly limited but it does feel like this would have been more of a Game pack concept.
I think the animals look fantastic. The bunnies appear to be the most independent though. They didn't really show the llama's, cows or chickens really wandering around so I'm going to assume for now they all act as objects.
I think this is their way of saying "hey, get these items now and suffer with the bugs or never get them at all" which I guess people will have to decide if it's worth it or not. I was always excited for preorder bonuses or items in Limited Editions with The Sims 3 but in The Sims 4 it feels more like an attempt to make…
Not enticed by the items they're offering if you purchase before September 2nd? I actually miss the Limited Editions of The Sims 3 packs they used to do for preordering where you'd get a venue or some exclusive items. I'm not entirely convinced The Sims 4 will get me with it though just based off their history.
I hope so too. I think the animals look great though! I'm actually excited that there are actual llamas in the game now since they've been a huge part of The Sims franchise. I'm also happy about the return of Miss Crumplebottom!
