100% agree! It will be a very sad day the day they decide to try pull that again. I just hope they know it isn’t what the majority want for this franchise at all since sometimes it seems they just pull ideas out of nowhere instead of actually listening to the player base.
😆😆😆 my thoughts exactly 😆 considering it’s literally a £600 investment each time though and people have been so disappointed with 4, I don’t blame anyone feeling a bit disenchanted with the idea of forking it out all over again. It felt worth it to spend that much money on a game that was a sufficient step up from the…
I get that that’s fun for most people, and I did like the wacky stuff in previous games because it was well balanced, but idk in sims 4 it feels kinda forced and overdone to me, because things like that tend to come in favour of spending more time on developing/fixing core systems and making the actual game better. It just…
😆😆😆 the fact that we can literally go to a different PLANET in a rocket ship yet we can’t even drive a car to the grocery store just about sums it up really doesn’t it 😆 Just who on the sims team leads this kind of life 😭
We do seem to be getting up to that point now where we have a lot of the things from previous games, albeit watered down versions. They do seem adamant that they want to keep releasing content though so my thoughts are we will see some never done before concepts to test the water as well as more patches while they are…
Just to add I’m not saying it’s coming anytime soon and I don’t want it to either realistically - even though I personally don’t enjoy sims 4 as much, I want them to actually spend enough time to make a game everyone will enjoy even more!!! But it could be a small nod to it just being in development, it’s not like they…
@orangehippogriff - me too!! Hoping the next game delivers something that wows everyone, like when Sims 2 and 3 were shown for the first few times 🤩 it is intriguing to see what they’ll do for another 3 years of content though now that we have most of our main packs released  @DoodlyDoofus - 😆😆😆 I like this theory.…
@bellagoth_ oooooo everyone getting excited is making me excited too now !!! :D maybe "should be great" means they have carefully listened to everyones feedback and TS5 will be augmented reality and online versus multiplayer only and they're 80% sure we're gonna love it ;) :D :D
@KaeChan2089 - Me too :'( really hoping the next game isn't going to be like this childrens game of the wiggles and teletubbies we have now :D it's too simplified even for kids :s @Sigzy05 - That's exactly it !!! And also the lack of literal sharp edges, no burglars or anything remotely negative :D It all adds up so much…
@rosemow Thankyou so much for the compliments!! <3 And thankyou very much for the help!!! I was fighting with it for ages and couldn't find those tutorial posts :# I'll try to fix it now
@ddd994 I have no idea!! is that true the thing about the SimGuru ???? that would be even more reason to believe this could actually be something!!! The new things definitely do seem out of place, like next to TS4 objects they're so ... slim??? I guess they could be part of the inclusiveness they have been trying…
Working on some NYC row houses in Newcrest currently  (Please correct me if my links don't work, I'm new and silly) [img][/img] I'm british though and never been to America so they're probably not accurate at all :#
19 points and still trying to get the pre-requisites but it is a bit like finding needles in a haystack, it is understandable though. But I would love to join in on the build challenges ! :( Glad for this thread that explains how to progress though, thankyou !!
My first time playing City Living, my young adult sim and I went on our first adventure into the city and 5 steps out the door this lil girl just comes and picks a fight with me out of nowhere, huge smoke cloud stars flying and everything. I still have no idea what her problem was to this day.
On my old saves I had a (unfinished) Airport in the big lot cause I felt like it fit the sandy desert theme :D Might revisit the idea with an airstrip and hangars though. Also had a Motel, Diner, Petrol Station/small shop and Grocery dotted around which I'm planning to rebuild :D Definitely needs a bar and ""Juice"" Shop…
I have my no cc saves on my laptop and my huge 30gb folder of alpha cc on my pc. It’s fun to play vanilla once in a while because it’s kind of like playing a different game, but it does get boring using the same objects all the time while decorating, so cc is the way to go for me personally.
