@fujicakes1 fun-- it is funny how much sims love to dance!
(I do too)
If you want to do a little dancing right now, go to the music thread and turn on the video I posted lol - maybe open it in youtube - I'm jamming to it right now as I type. It's one of those long lofi vids so you'll have a lot of time to groove
All my daily trances, and all my nightly dreams, are where thy grey eye glances, and where thy footstep gleams.
I dance to the beat of my own drum, no matter how measured or far away.
I do love a road. You can always be wondering what is at the end of it.
What didn't happen? LOL Kayleigh gave birth to her sixth and final child, a little girl they named Cadence. Andrew aged up to a Child, Cadence became an Infant and Erik won his 21st consecutive Best Ston Accolades. How's that for being succinct?
Haven't played my Sims 4 for a bit, but created new Sims once again.
Little background, I have Disney Dreamlight Valley on two systems. PC and PS4, much like my Sims 4 set up.
Anyway, I downloaded a small house based on the house you get in the game. I moved it into one of my saves that only one family.
I made two Sims based on my Dreamlight Valley avatars, one is named Luna with white hair and green eyes, and one is named Wolf, who has green eyes and red hair. Changed her from Wolf to the name Tala.
I made them sisters, and was able to find an outfit that was super close to how I have them in the game. They are also spell casters, and made them teens. When I was making them, for whatever reason, they ended up with scars all over their body that I had to get rid of.
So far, all I did was move them into the Dreamlight house, and had them do their homework. Once they were done, they watched the cooking channel to level up their skill.
Next post may be an update on a family, or another set of Sims that I decided to make. I spend more time making Sims, than playing them honestly. I do enjoy Sims 4, but I like to take breaks every once in awhile.
After the birth of their sixth and final child Kayleigh, for some odd reason only she knows, started interfering whenever Erik was taking care of the children. He was busy using the flash cards with Peter and she managed to edge herself into this picture by sitting on the floor right next to Erik, and taking out a deck of flash cards, successfully diverting little Peter's attention to her. She did something similar whenever Erik was caring for their Infant, Cadence. Erik got fed up. He was so upset with her over it, he began to resent her, his feelings splashing out whenever she even entered the same room.
Rather than allow it to destroy their marriage of nearly thirteen (had to update) years, Erik opted to speak out. Turns out Kayleigh wasn't altogether aware of what she was doing and promised to be more mindful. This was enough to ease the tensions growing between them. That and a furious pillow fight, that is.
Erik won his 22nd Best Song in a row, and instead of leaving the stage like normal, he set his trophy back onto the table from which he took it and after informing the audience Kayleigh was the inspiration behind his writing of the song, dedicated it to her and burst into the final refrain of it A Cappella. Which had the audience on its feet. The Host applauded and thanked Erik for making it quite the Show and then closed the event for the day. "And that's it from Del Sol Valley."
Haruo is bored of reading books...and instead is driving poor River crazy.
The Watcher is going crazy trying to figure out how to rotate the camera without having to open up that stupid menu in the top right hand corner. Isn't there any dang keyboard camera control keys?
Haruo: "I've read this book 252 times already. If I have to read this book 253 times, I'm going to throw it through the nearest window."
River: "Good heavens, get a grip!"
I hate this game!
Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~

I assume you use sims3 camera?
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
@Nikkei_Simmer really strange to see River and Haruo out of their natural habitat, makes this watcher wonder who convinced this watcher to give it a try lol. No you don’t have to tell me I was just surprised and bet you don’t remember me heh.
Reddestiny921 on the gallery...still not sure if I capitalized the second d..lol
All the sims err'day
@fujicakes1 I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Thanks! Still sick - I hope it's not covid. It's not a level 10 sick though - more of a level 3. Like, I feel crummy, stuffy nose, cough, sore and scratchy throat, sneezing, occasional nausea, just feeling all-over bad, but I have been at a level 10, so I don't feel like I can go any higher than 3 with this one.

I have a two-parter for today. First, Erik and Kayleigh celebrated their thirteenth wedding anniversary, by renewing their vows. Their parents and siblings, alone with friends, fans and Paparazzi, turned out for the affair. Things went along just fine, until the Spousal Kiss, in which the couple repeated the unfortunate clunking of heads as they had at their actual wedding. Aaron couldn't help but to call them out for it, either.
They ate, danced, had speeches, cut cake and then when all was over, a Child Fan made off with what was left of the huge wedding cake.
Part Two finds the family beaming into the Zenith Terminal to catch a flight to Sulani. Erik has a dreadful nightmare about burying their Infant daughter in the sand and completing the sandcastle atop of her. Needless to say no sandcastles were erected during this visit to the Island. The family had a good time overall and returned to Henford-on-Bagley to celebrate Jamison's birthday. That's right, the first of many Teens has just aged up. Stay tuned, the twins will be next. Madness, it's pure madness. LOL
All of my work so far has been in vain.
I spent several days getting invested in my new save, before realizing that something is very, very wrong, because despite spending lots of time in Moonwood Mill, I was yet to see Greg, and all of the other werewolves were acting 100% human. A trip to CAS showed that for some reason, all of the vampires, werewolves and mermaids - aka sims with alternative form - had spawned as humans, while witches were okay. So I deleted that save - with a heavy heart, because my sim was hooking up with Lou Howell and he is sooo cute - and started over.
Well, turns out it was not an one-time glitch but a bug. I tried to figure out which one of my mods may have caused it - easier said than done, because as I haven't started a new save in ages, I have no idea when it may have started - but got too frustrated after a few unsuccessful tries (thanks, ADHD) So instead my solution was to temploraly remove my mods folder, start a new save and check that everyone spawned as they should, and then put the mods back in. And it worked!
I really hope that nothing goes wrong this time, since I really want to play with werewolves.

Wow, so sorry to hear of your troubles, but am very glad you did the testing you needed to do. Let's hope this new save works out. Been there, done that, I feel your pain. Best of luck and I look forward to your future updates on how it's going.
My girl is now exploring the magic realm. That tense encounter with Morgyn left her curious. She is now a spellcaster and I noticed something I never saw before when playing in the realm. Guess it pays to explore. Looks like a lost cemetery with the sages of old long gone.
I'm sure others have seen it but the gemstones on the tomb really add a nice touch and I wanted to share this pic I took.
3 days off work, my Sim wanted to start making her magic skills stronger. Not a great start however. Not only did she take out herself, but her mentor friend and sage too. Now she stinks so bad from the curse she got, anyone near her will vomit.
Haven't built in a while but I wanted to make an apartment with a conversation pit, so I made this little busy boho apartment. This apartment lot has one of the prettiest views in the game but I've never used it as it's so massive, so I cut it down to a small size and made a fake corridor extension to make it work. Here's the final build,
The only drawback for the tenants is the apartment has no bathroom! Instead they have to use the buildings very well kept communal bathroom across the hall

I had one of my Sims marry the Grim Reaper & now they have a lot of kids.
