Not today but this week’s gameplay: My sims Maia and Caesar aged up to adults and had a baby, Niko. Baby Niko is now Toddler Niko. Both sheep died, about 97 chickens died and Pasha, Shadow and Polaris became elder horses. Nebula and Nevada are now adult horses and can begin training. Nevada will be the new family champion.
I'm a little bummed out to realize, (unless I'm doing something very wrong) that even with the number of Sims to a lot increased, there is no way to even rescue a horse. Which of the six kids do I have to drop, just so Erik can ride a horse, for pity's sake, or is it possible for him to ride another Sim's horse?
How many terms does Jamison have left at Britechester? Perhaps he could move out when he's finished to make room for the horse? I don't have the horse pack yet, so I'm not sure about him riding someone else's horse, but maybe have a neighbor or a friend get one and try it.

Jamison has two more terms, should he pass all four classes in his first one, that is. His genius uncle (and that's not a derogative, Joey is a Bonafide genius), managed to fail a couple of his classes in Biology. I think he wasn't putting in the effort, quite frankly. He ended up having to add an extra class just to stay on track with the others. (I like to take a group of Sims to Uni together.) This was prior to my learning they could take four classes at a time. At any rate, Jamison has three more terms. That is a great idea. One of the Toddlers is due to age up come the weekend (in-game) I left them on a Wednesday night.

I'm not fond of apartments, so I'm unfamiliar with the ins and outs of this life in the game. I look forward to seeing how Abby fairs in her new place. Now, she has reason to attend the Flea Market, no? Hope she finds a few worthwhile pieces of furniture. I miss how the funiture used to wear down in Sims2 making replacements necessary.

I rarely use apartments in my game either, but I thought I’d give it a try for Abby since apartment living is fairly common for young adults. In real life, I don’t think I’d like apartment living very much, despite being a young adult myself. I am actually planning to take Abby to the flea market when it comes. I might even install the “flea market every Sunday” mod. I'm also going to attempt to build a retail store that sells furniture, so that there's a bit more of a selection. I've never played the sims 2, but now I really want that feature in Sims 4.
I’ll likely have another update either this evening or Friday. Hope Erik gets to ride a horse eventually, and hopefully Jamison's term ends with good grades.
My friend gifted me High School years for a birthday present.
So, I used my "Frozen" save file to test it out. I used my werewolf Anna and Elsa, and remade them as teens. I was going to use another pair of them, but I kind of messed up on them. I wasn't planning on giving them pronouns, so that is where the mess up happened on my original pair. So, that is why I used my werewolf duo.
I moved them into City Living, and gave them an apartment home, their apartment was the one that needed TLC, it has pipes running through it, and the fuse box as well. Anna got the double bed in the smaller room, and Elsa got the double bed in the bigger room.
One of the first things they did was have a pillow fight, before doing their homework. They did their homework on Anna's room after having the pillow fight in there as well. Since they arrived into the save file late at night, they didn't get done until the early morning.
I went with them on their first day of school. Anna had gotten something to eat before bed, but Elsa hadn't, so I sent her to get food. Both needed to use the bathroom, but they had to get to their first class. After their first class, they went to the bathroom first, before getting lunch. Then it was time for their second class. Anna talked to the principle, and talked to the other students. In both classes, Anna sat in the front, and Elsa sat in the back.
Their first day was with a random group of teens, none of them mine, except Anna and Elsa. Two male students got into two brawls. Elsa saw them through the wall, and disapproved of their behavior. Anna was amused by it, and she also saw them through the wall. The next day, there were more teens, with only three of them that were new. None of them were my teens, though.
After their second day of school, Anna and Elsa were dealing with the werewolf issues before transforming. They did calm down enough to go to the Boba tea shop, and Anna got chocolate Boba, and Elsa got strawberry Boba. Elsa also put together an outfit for herself. My other Sims made appearances are NPCs, and I had Anna and Elsa talk to them, and do homework. Elsa had to go to the restroom, and accidentally broke the toilet and sink with her strength.
The next day, I forgot to follow them to school, hit the wrong prompt when it popped up, I wasn't paying attention. That day Anna and Elsa were forced to return home early. The school kicked them out, because it was time for them to transform. Elsa turned into a werewolf shortly coming home. Anna transformed, but forced herself back into human form. Elsa went on a slight rampage, and growled at their landlord, and ran around her apartment. An event for school started for them, but when I brought Elsa and Anna there, Elsa was forced out of her werewolf form after a few seconds after arriving. However, some teens spotted her, and did freak out. The event was just taking pictures, so I sent the Anna and Elsa back home.
Afterwards, I did give a handful of teens, that weren't Frozen related, some slight makeovers. I plan to give makeovers to more teens in my other save files as well. I plan to explore it more, and see how my different teens do in school.
@MrPlumbob The very first apartment I lived in was after I was married. Hubby went into the Navy, and it was no longer plausible for me to stay in the town we were living in, two hours by car away from the Naval base. So, when he was done with Bootcamp and could live off base, my mother and I traveled down to San Diego to find an apartment. At that time, since it was a new experience for me, apartment life seemed romantic, if you will. After nine years of apartment dwelling, however, no more.
Today, after I slept on the idea, I decided to have Erik purchase horses through his two brothers, Aaron and Joey, to house on their property. I haven't yet brought Erik over to their house. I got off of my game so that I could relate what I learned about horses. I recall having a bit of a discussion with another player about the inability to remove the saddle from the horse. I know I couldn't figure out how with the only horse in my other save. Today, voila, I stumbled onto the command needed. So very glad my horses will no longer have to live with a saddle strapped to their backs when they don't have a rider. Yay!
Not having any room in his own household, Erik asked Joey and Aaron if they would mind housing and caring for his horses. He sought this permission, of course, before he made the purchase. He also had a barn built on their property for said horses. When they arrived, he was on hand to get acquainted with the Stallion. Had things not gone so badly, he would have also spent some time with the mare, Lady Galadriel, too. As it was, despite how slowly he proceeded with Shadowfax, the horse got spooked and Erik landed, hard, on the ground. So hard, he feared being able to get up again. A day or so later, he decided to go ahead and brew up another bottle of grape nectar. Again, he managed to slip and fall into the wooden barrel. Two falls inside of two days. Not a good record. As per his usual stubborn self, Erik got up and pressed onward, even so. On Sunday, he and Kayleigh went to the Starlight Accolades Show, where Erik ended up winning his twenty-fifth (25th) Best Song Accolade for his For the Love of You.

Today, Abby returned from the café and ordered a pizza before going to bed. This time, she remembered to put the rest of the pizza in the refrigerator.
The last pizza had spoiled after she forgot and left it out during the day.
The next morning, Abby went back to the café to work on another website for her freelance programming gig, then left for her other job 3 hours later. (Unfortunately, she didn't get the website finished.) When she returned home, she was feeling rather tense, and her neck was strained from having to bend over her work computer all day.
She put on her favorite comfy pajamas and turned on her game console. Maybe she'd finally finish level 32 this evening.
She had just loaded her game when she heard a noise coming from the laundry area. Unfortunately, her dryer had decided to quit while she was at work.
She called the repair service, and sat down to finish her game. "It's always something." she thought to herself, just as the repair service knocked on her door. Abby paused her game once again, and opened the door.
Peter aged into a Child and began school. Leaving little Cadence, the only Toddler. Erik was quick to realize just how short childhood really was. Jamison was already fourteen. Erik also determined he was going to ride his horse. He got up bright and early and headed over to Joe and Aaron's place. Then told her, "Here I come," when he attempted to mount her. Again, he was very awkward at it, but he did make it onto her back. Then the horse did something odd. She lowered herself a bit. Moments later, Erik realized she was poising herself to rear upward. Off he flew, again!
While he laid there, a Paparazzo asked if he could have an exclusive interview. Erik agreed, so long as he didn't have to move. A moment later the Rock Star pulled himself back onto his feet, dusted off and mounted the horse again. Delighted when he said, "Giddy-up." And the two moved forward. Then he let his brothers and onlookers know they were just going to take a little walk and would be back. Horse and Rider went down the path, over a bridge and to the base of the hill. Above them was Erik's house. "Shall we go home?" he said aloud. Suddenly, Lady Galadriel shot off, back the way they came, at a trot! Erik clung to the reigns for dear life unprepared for such a pace! Racing as if to fetch the Mid-Wife, the words and actions to get the horse to slow totally escaped the accomplished artist. The horse only slowed to a stop once she reached the barn. She ate some hay after Erik suggested she do so and then he would dismount. To his chagrin, she reared up and again, he went flying off of her back.

I was playing in my Ancestral game save for a bit, yesterday. I had my sixth great-grandparents out on a date. Of course, since they are Teens, her mother showed up to the very same restaurant. While my young couple were chatting away, he gets a call from the very Sim sitting next to him at the table (so weird having cell phones in 1760) only she wasn't on her phone!. The message to him was "I got the okay from her parents to have a sleep over, so I am inviting you, do you want to go?'. A box appeared wherein I could click to send him over. Their 'date' was technically over (timed out). Out of curiosity, I sent him. Then I tried to follow him with the camera. He did not end up over at her father's complex, but rather a house somewhere in Windenburg where they both were for the date. I clicked on him, and the camera moved, but I couldn't see him. At all. What have I done?
Today, Jamison who just began his second term in university, got a call to act in a Big Movie. He rushed out of the house, hoping he would be finished before his first class of the day, which began at 9:30. The boy had a blast and when he returned home, he was bathed by a strange light and knew he was now a Notable Newcomer. He went to what remained of his class and was certain to take notes. Grateful that he was able to squeeze all that he could from that class. He stayed on campus so he could give his presentation and then attend his 3 o'clock class. By the time he returned home again, he found his younger siblings in the dining room with their father. The kids all had their hands raised and he asked what they were voting on, thinking it a family meeting. Seems all of them were subject to just knowing things, much like their Auntie Bree. Erik marveled at this strong gene. He further enquired about Jamison's day and was jubilant to learn of the youth's unexpected opportunity.
I haven't played for a few weeks because I haven't been well, but I began playing again today at the Paige household.
Joshua and Brodie finally met their first grandson, Keelan! I'll have to get his uncles Sylas and Jesse and aunty Wren round their place to meet him too at some point.
Baby Keelan and Dog had a little sleep together, which was incredibly cute!

One of Hope's children invited the one teen still in the house to go to the t-shirt festival thingy, and I actually let her go this time. It was fun seeing some of the siblings together, standing around doing nothing.

The white blond guy is Spencer Spencer-Kim (his twin brother is, you guessed it, Kim Spencer-Kim), darker-skinned blond guy is Casper Goth, the guy on the left in the first picture is Krueger Goth, twin sons of Mortimer Goth. The guy with the yellow pants and chest hair in the second is Lewis Kim-Lewis.
Stuff I don't have screenshots of: Recently aged-up teen December Frost (Clement's daughter) went to prom, most of the people there were random teens, only two of her siblings were also there (despite there now being 40 teenaged siblings!). She didn't win anything, they hung out for the prom after-party, nobody would go on a ride with her - even her own siblings who were at the after-party but weren't at prom.
ALSO I had my first ever natural set of triplets! 9 years of playing and I've only ever go triplets through cheating or through CAS. Their father is Travis Scott, two girls - Great and Joplin - and one boy - Michael.
Also had another one of those "hey you have infants, and I need a place to stay" offers, moved the lady in. As expected she did basically nothing to help out around the house, and I thought she had moved out but it turned out she was off doing... things... with a vampire for like 24 hours in the park??? I got the "I should really get going" notice even though I thought he'd left already, and I had no idea the woman was still there either.
Oh yeah, and Eliza Pancakes' twin sons with Hope both aged up to children with... red hair! They're numbers 44 and 45, I think, and the first red-heads of Hope's children. Yaaay.
