I turned off cc in options a few days before the patch (to make cc free sims for the gallery) and I still haven’t turned it back on yet. So for now I’ve been playing a cc free save with one of the sims I made, Arra Greenwood. She’s completed a few aspirations, maxed a few skills, completed the frog collection and married Johnny Zest. I built her a cute container house which has no room for Johnny so, he still lives across the street. She’s an artist and makes way too much money selling paintings on Plopsy.
Erik and Kayleigh are very busy with their four children. Jamison got a lesson on how to ride his bike from his dad. He did so well, he took off down the hill from their house, popping a wheely as he went. Erik recorded, packaged and released his nineteenth album. Andrew hates food, and the few items he was unsure of, when tried again, he disliked all but one of them. He's not crazy about finger food, either. He likes just three things: Oatmeal cereal, Papaya Paste and ice cream.
He also got introduced to dirt. Something wholly unfamiliar to him. Erik had a greenhouse built to guard against the extreme weather and they planted anew a few vegetables. Mushrooms, bell peppers, potatoes, carrots, sage, parsley, carrots and some grapes. With time they will add more. Kayleigh brought the baby with her while she did some weeding. He had a blast, churning up a huge dirt cloud, to find a rubber duck. He was happy.
To let off some steam after a particularly difficult day, Erik and Kayleigh decided to have a pillow fight. Knowing where that often leads them, they both agreed to take that chance. For them a pillow fight was always a prelude to woohoo. And woohoo they did. Will their family increase? Are they up to that? Time will tell. Stay tuned.
Since Emmanuel would whine after almost every shift of his 3-hours, part-time job about how he is soo very tired and needs a vacation, I made him quit the job... and get a full-time one. He has hated every job he's ever had, but I need to get him out of the house for some hours to get some peace.
Well, I spent some time straightening San Myshuno out. Neighborhood Stories must have been busy in the background when I dropped in to do updates and test mods. I knew the Fengs had died, but didn’t pay attention to where their baby went. Vlad has adopted her, which might make for an interesting story to explore. Most of the rest of the San Myshuno premades had been “moved out” into my library, so I just reinstated them. I tracked down the Karaoke Legends household living in Windenburg, minus Miko Ojo. Not sure what’s happened to her. Apparently, as San Myshuno was suffering from urban decay, Windenburg was packed to the gills!
I think camera movement is my problem in my games. I can piddle around in CAS or BB without any problem, but moving the camera around too much in live mode seems to be disorienting me. It’s even worse in my Disney game.
Gabriel got fired from his job because he accidentally broke something. It's the first time I've ever had a sim got fired, and I have played the game for three? Four? years. Looks like it's time to work on these rockstar dreams instead.
Still playing my cc free save. Arra and Johnny had 2 kids, Basil and Briar, both are still infants. Johnny got promoted to the top of his career, Arra is still painting, they’re worth about 650k now. I expanded Arra’s container home to accommodate Johnny and the kids. I may need to move them to something bigger soon.
The Boys visited Tandoori Palace this weekend and their evil chicken Hell-ena went with them.
It's so cute that she placed herself under the flower arch.

Last week, actually, but saw Emily twice! Sim got invited to party at bluffs. I noticed there were a lot of sailboats out there so paid more attention to the water than the party. Sure enough, Emily appeared and was able to get out there and tack pictures. After dance ended saw that there were still a lot of boats out there so sent sim to the vantage point. Emily appeared again, so was able to get a shot of sim watching Emily - as well as a couple more out there.
Gabriel's children go to school with their paternal great-aunts, while his youngest maternal aunts and an uncle are literal babies. Immortality makes it difficult at times to keep track of who belong to which generation.
First my Sim ended up terrified after another Sim visited during a thunderstorm and lightning nearly burned down my Sim's home. The other Sim yelled at her and scared her so badly she now feared the dark. A few days after that, lightning struck poor Vivian at a festival, then my Sim founded a dead looking Paka'a Uha on the ground at Moonwood Mill, but he got up shortly after collapsing.
This one is the weirdest. My Sim was at the bar in Moonwood Mill, asking locals about the history of the town. A few Spellcasters stopped by along with Caleb (her boyfriend) and Vlad. We were all chatting and Morgyn was telling my Sim what he knew about the werewolves when suddenly everyone jumped out of their seats and looked behind my Sim. Greg was standing there just staring. Eventually he walked up to my Sim and we talked calmly thanks to my Sim's confident buff from overcoming her fear of the dark. After he left everyone was scared and Morgyn suddenly turns to my Sim and points his finger at her like he's scolding her and says something mean then stomps off.
She then got struck by lightning at work and took time off the next day to relax in Sulani.

It feels like my Sim is in unknown danger poking the beast by trying to learn what happened and people want her to stop, so when they saw her and Greg being nice they got scared and angry at her. Like she was digging too deep and should stop before bad things happen.

Okay, so Erik and his family celebrated Labor Day. Early that morning Andrew aged up to a Toddler. The family decided to go outside, since it was a warm day in early fall, and played on the new Splash Pad Erik got for them. So much safer for the wee ones to play in the water than to worry about watching them in a kiddie pool. Erik held a concert and did a photoshoot after the water fun and was back in time to grill up some sausage and peppers. Surprisingly, his three picky eaters all liked the fare. The family didn't get to bed until the wee hours. Come early Tuesday, Erik was off again. Being the King of Rock, he was constantly busy. Another concert and yet another photoshoot for Sims' Teen Magazine, this time. He licensed yet another song and was instantly nominated for Best Song. This would be his eighteenth. He answered a few questions for the Paparazzi hanging around outside of his security gate, then checked on the plants in his newly built greenhouse. Kayleigh was in labor, so Erik kept the twins occupied. He wrote another song on his electronic piano while the girls bobbed to the music he made. Later, he went upstairs to meet is new son, Peter. And we are all caught up.
My poor girl is going through it right now. During her usual patrol Caleb was very angry and lashed out at her 3 times. She was so angry she broke up with him and spent the night getting juiced and partying with celebrities to take her mind off it. A few days later Caleb came by to give her a gift but spent the whole day and night crying before leaving.
A few nights later my Sim was back on her feet, feeling noncommittal, single and loving it. She was then abducted by aliens, came home and began binging. Now good food turns her off, she is a junk addict and went from outgoing to nonsocial.
I had a very long gaming session so I bounced between several saves, made 2 new families to add to my base save and downloaded/updated/organized and tested a lot of cc and poses. Neither family is 100% complete yet. One family is a teen boy and his YA parents. The other family is a set of adult parents, their YA daughter and teen triplet daughters. All of the teens will be in a social group/club together along with the teen boy from my main family and 3 more teens that haven’t been made yet.
I played for a bit yesterday. Nothing material happened, but Erik licensed his eighteenth song, and has received another nomination. Excited much. How long will his winning streak last? The twins are set to age up on game day Saturday, which is close. Peter was born on Tuesday, in-game. I play on Long, so he'll age up to Infant, shortly. Let the circus begin!
Went back to setting up my base save. I added a few more teens to create a core group of friends. I think I still need to add 1 more to make it 8. But…I forgot to teleport the teen in my main family for the group picture 🤦🏽♀️ I’ll take a new picture tomorrow after I fix whatever is causing my game to be so laggy.
Having "fixed" the weird out-of-nowhere relationship issue with Edmond and Jade, they had their first child, Chloe. Hilariously, during Jericho's (Edmond's father) Elder birthday celebration. Poor Jade was asleep and wandered into the living room going into labor just as Jericho was blowing out the candles!
Edmond freaked out and ran around the hospital like a maniac while his wife gave birth.
Now, its only 2 days until Zoe's (Edmond's mother) ages up.
META: I was planning on having a pool party on her birthday. I don't know if I can juggle it all with guests and infant care. I mean, I'm gonna try, and my plans are for Edmond and Jade to have another child when Chloe is at least a kid, but its gonna get nuts, I think.
I deleted all of my saves but the current one, because if I haven't wanted to open them for 1-3 years, I never will. They are just taking up space.

I want to be left alone, not harrassed constantly by various relatives asking for advice or congratulating my sim for becoming friends with their baby. It has become a chore, not something I enjoy doing.
Perhaps it's time to stop pretending and admit that I dislike children, both irl and in game and I find no fun in sims younger than teens. The only reason I have been allowing my sims to have kids is to farm new sims to play with, once they become teens. But even this seems too much of a burden lately. If it wasn't too strange visually for me, I'd age them straight to teens from infants and dkip everything in between alltogether.

Today was a busy day. Peter, Kayleigh and Erik's fifth child aged into an Infant. He's a big boy, too. Also, the Toddler twins are now Child Sims. Harmony had a loose tooth immediately uppn rising from bed, which she lost. I managed, for once, to catch a picture of a Sim missing a tooth!
