It is a very nice houseboat for Sulani!
Everyone's houseboats look so nice! I started this one and I must have forgotten what I was doing and a new layout formed so I guess I won't be joining this exact challenge but I do have a houseboat of my own coming soon lol
I look forward to seeing your houseboat @Clousinators
Welcome here @pendragon1980 ! Great job on the very first challenge! I hope you have fun with the challenges
Thank you to everyone who entered this month’s challenge! I have been just floored by your talent and creativity. Your boats have all been so inspiring!
@icanhassims You have done a wonderful job designing a contemporary houseboat. The walkway you have created looks great and I love the covered seating in the corner along with the bonfire. I like that you have added solar power to the boat and the sunroof is beautiful as well. The interior is decorated so beautifully. Your color choices look very nice and tropical and I love how you have taken advantage of the new pack items. Very well done!
@PriestessDreadful Your houseboat looks great! I love the beachy feel that you have given it and am impressed by your choice of exterior walls. I would never have even thought to choose that swatch, but it looks perfect. The interior is very nice, I especially like the way that you have designed the bathroom. Although you think that the bar doesn’t work well, I think that is a great solution. As long as sims sit there, I’m sure it’s no big deal to hang onto a plate 😊 The top deck looks very nice, I love all of the activities that you have added. Great job!
@JojoMOMSTER Not a care in the World is a great title to your houseboat! I love the family that you have made to enjoy the boat. I think it is wonderful the way that you have designed the beach, even giving them a laundry shack. The exterior of the boat looks wonderful I especially love the covered deck and the hanging lights. The torches on the dock look great as well. The interior has such a nice comfortable feel and yet feels tropical and airy. I love all the little details that you have added. Fabulous job!
@luckyheather Your luxury houseboat is stunning! The creative use of the roofs, lighting, and railing really make the boat look realistic. The white and ocean blue colors suit the boat so well. I love all the artwork that you have chosen and you have made such wonderful storage areas as well. You always pay such nice attention to detail. Your top deck looks great as well, with the steering wheel and a kitchen to boot! I also love the lounging area on the deck. Nicely done!
@AIRIS6962 Queen of the Seas is a beautiful container houseboat! I really like your color choices and the fact that you even added green space to the deck. Your awnings look very nice and I love the skylights that you added to the roof. The interior is very well done, I especially like the details that you have added in the kitchen. The kids’ room is so much fun and it was a great idea to add a study room as well. Well done!
@nali272 Your lake houseboat is great! I love that you made it for Windenburg, it suits it so well. Having the main deck open in the back works great, and I love the way you curved the front, you even added a command center and a propeller! You have done a very nice job of decorating the interior of the boat. The seating room and the kitchen look wonderful and I especially like the way you added the TV in the bedroom. Nicely done!
@Pinkusfamily Sulani Houseboat getaway is a wonderful houseboat for a vacation! It is packed full of exciting things for sims to do. I love all the color and fun that the top deck has. The interior has such a nice relaxing, warm tropical feeling to it. I love the banana leaf wall paper and the bar is great as well! You have added so many fun and creative things to your boat I don’t even know where to begin. Great job! Also - Excellent idea to add a gate to your dock! I kept getting thieves entering my boat during playtesting and I couldn’t lock them out.
@Aljay Due to some unfortunate, or fortunate (perspective has a funny way of doing that) situations, I was not able to finish, but I wanted you to know that effort was put forth, and although I was not able to finish this month's build, the idea and blueprint was unique and fantabulous. I did do a lot of it, before I had to walk away and deal with life, so I wanted to share with you, my vision of your request. I went with the simple, natural, almost Asian feel for my houseboat, opting for fencing, as opposed to walls, and a glass roof, to allow as much natural light as possible, but retaining a privacy aspect.
Thank you for always suggesting such wonderful plans for us to run with.
Thank you so very much @AlJay for that great challenge and for your lovely review I really enjoyed myself and got some google images to get inspiration, doing a houseboat reminded me how much I miss them in Sims 3 so I might do more of them in future. I am thrilled you liked my version, thanks again for these fun Blueprint builds.
@Taoron your houseboat is looking so nice! I love the fencing that you used and the roof design is beautiful! If you ever get time to finish it I really look forward to seeing it complete
The challenge for July is to use the blueprint above to design a café. Your build can be on any size lot and any style you choose. As you can see, there is a stair to a second level on this blueprint. You can get creative and make living quarters above, add more seating, or just simply leave the stair and second level out. You do not need to own Get Together to participate. There is no budget but please do not use any custom content. Please hashtag with #BB21 and #AlJay2000 when you upload it to the gallery. As always, if you wish to make a household to run your café, please feel free to do that as well!
If you need a starting point, I have uploaded a shell to the gallery for you to use. This is just a guide and can be put on any size lot with any wall and foundation height.
Challenge Number: 21 Gallery name of build: The Bean House Origin id: icanhassims Notes: I decided to turn the second floor into an employee breakroom so that sims can rest and eat when they need to without having to go home. Screenshots:
The Bean House is a lovely cafe! @icanhassims Very nice exterior design, the large glass windows are very nice and pretty flowers and hedging along the lot edges! Lovely umbrella covered outdoors dining patio areas! The interior furnishing of the dining area is lovely! The flowers are pretty on the dining tables tops. The wood texture of the furnishings are nice and warming. Very nice overlapping circles floor rugs. The upstairs employees break area is very nice for staff to have a rest, play card games and enjoy eating a meal or a snack. The patterned beds are pretty. Very nice fireplace sofa and armchairs sitting area.

Challenges: Builder's Wanted!!!
I started with the Nov 19 #1.
When I started messing this this I got the 70s sitcom Brady Bunch vibe. Soo its set for two teen kids, one paragon and one rebel.

I made an attempt this month, but only got about 10% done, and then the month just somehow disappeared. Maybe the next one.
