Additional Notes: When I first saw this Blueprint I noticed that there are almost no windows on the drawing.
I found my inspiration in “Langhuset” (The Long house) from the Viking fortress "Fyrkat"
The building has a characteristic boat-shaped vaulted roof ... These are the ideas of what it could have looked like. There was no preservation other than imprints on the posts of the house.
I have used this building as inspiration for the shape. A glass roof cuts into the building to add light to the house and to contribute with a contemporary dispute.
It is furnished with a mix of folklore and contemporary decor.
The color range consists of the earth colors brown, gray and red.
The surroundings are partly overgrown by the area's wild growths. There are also flower beds and a traditional herb garden.
Gorm den Gamle (Gorm the Old) was one of the kings of the Viking Age.
That's why I called my house "The Spirit of Gorm"
Enjoy.
The Spririt of Gorm is a lovely home! @MonaSolstraale It was very nice seeing your inspiration building. The exterior design of your home is lovely! Very nice sofa seats sitting, tv watching and reading area near the fire. The patterned floor rug is a nice touch. Very nice design of the kitchen! The patterned entrance to the kitchen area. over the stools counter, looks great! The wall knives, hanging utensils. hanging pans are nice touches on the wall, and the fruit bowl, and cookbooks are homely touches. The wall tapestries through the build are lovely! Very nice furnishing of the bedrooms! The bathroom wall tiling is very nice.Sims will enjoy painting on the easel outside in the outdoors air.
It is a very nice family home
Thanks for the feedback @rosemow and thanks for the challenge @AlJay
It's always exciting to see where the imagination leads me when I see the Blueprint.
Often I am completely out of ideas, so I am happy to have time to choose other than the first solution.

After failing to make an entry for BB6 (I really tried! ), now, as I promised myself (inspired by the other amazing entries from previous challenges), I've made something in Oasis Springs! As the name suggests, this build is inspired by Mr. Johnny Zest, hence all the zesty, citrus colors. (I apologize about the explosion of green and orange ). It's Base Game only too.
