I keep getting errors every other time I click on a page on the forums. Is anyone else experiencing this, and is there a maintenance going on / will happen?
Experimenting with using the forum is coming up with some errors like Discussions and Comments columns overlapping i.e the S over C. Pressing Categories giving an error page every so often. (not every time). Very erratic. This is on a 17" laptop.
Just posted the above and got a lightbulb, Whoops! There was an error message!
Are the larger fonts and less spacing between lines a permanent addition? I'm fine with the enhanced font but am bothered that the spacing between lines is scrunched together.
I'm not seeing any larger fonts?
And in the regular font I'm seeing now, the double spacing between every line looks absolutely ridiculous. Why is there so much space?
Edit - Hrm, that double space thing seems to have gone now - Oh, no it hasn't.
This is so odd.

Looks ok to me now. Maybe someone who worked for Amazon e-books has joined the team. Actually double spacing options when reading some of those page long efforts would be very useful!
Just to add my §.02 to the mix, the extra spacing between paragraphs that suddenly showed up on both new and former posts is driving me crazy and making things far less readable (for me, anyway). I sure hope this was unintended and is something that can be fixed.
It looks like we are pounding on the <return> or <enter> key after each paragraph when most of us know we are not.
Edit: Take a look at, in addition to this post itself, my one wall post from Aug 17 and my signature block. They are now spaced all wrong vertically and that is not how they looked before or when I typed them out.
I totally agree with @igazor here, it looks really bad. In fact I had even opened a topic about it, maybe if more people were to react there instead of in this topic about errors, maybe we can get the right person to look in to it!
I'm not seeing it. Not on my phone, pc, laptop, or tablet. Could it be a browser issue? I'm on Chrome. Can someone post a screenshot?
You are correct! I don't have a Chrome install handy at the moment, but it's happening on the current version of Firefox on both Mac and Windows as well as the variant I use on the Mac side. I just checked with Internet Explorer 11 and the spacing issue is totally not present. But IE 11 isn't even supposed to be supported for use as a forum browser anymore.
Any Edge or Safari users here to complete the picture?
I also use firefox.... and up untill recently the forums looked completely normal. Personally I think that a well known and very popular browser should not suffer such a big issue with a layout. If we were to use some obscure browser nobody ever heard from I'd understand, but that is certainly not the case with firefox!
This is my recent post in FF 61.0.2 for Windows (click to enlarge). Note the paragraph spacing in both the body and the sig line. Everyone's posts that have more than one paragraph look like this to me.
This is what it looks like in IE 11, the only other browser I have handy at the moment. As it should be, so I suspect how it also looks in Chrome.
Comments
I am having the same thing occurring also. I am not sure if maintenance on the forums is being currently done.

@greenXen Thanks for highlighting that, I'll look into what is going on there.

Same here. I'm using Chrome and I don't have the spacing issue either. I agree it seems most likely a browser issue.
