@emorrill I was curious to see what the shawl looked like, so I downloaded it from mediafire. It contains a sims3pack and a package file. You can use one or the other. I checked both for safety and they looked good. So I used the package file for easy uninstallation if I decided not to keep the item.
The shawl uses the necklace slot in accessories. It's a stiff design and sticks out a little, but it actually looks quite nice with some outfits. I didn't take time to test it on a YA, but here's an elder. (EDIT: I tested it again this morning; see next post.)
@lanlyn Thank you for the link to the shawl. I did see that one during my various searches, but...wasn't sure how well it would look in game. (My graphics aren't that great so...)

@emorrill You're welcome! I wanted to see what it looked like myself. The shawl might complement a sleeveless formal, it depends on the style of dress. You could brighten the shawl or make it a little glittery so it would look more formal. I tried it with several tops and dresses, and some outfits look great with it; others didn't match as well or clipped. It's available for the formal category and the everyday. Not sure about the other categories, I didn't look. I suggest using the package file for easy testing and see what you think. Remember, it does look better in game, so make sure you test it there too.
Okay okay this is an offical “I was wrong” to @emorrill and @CravenLestat ...Cobri Kai is frigging AWESOME!! I’ve only watched the first episode but am already loving it, great acting/story and soundtrack! The husband has youtube red so we’re all set to watch them all.

Rainy Sunday morning in Glendonnach. Tamsin decided to spend it at the gym.
The Glendonnach gym is in part of a former distillery - the other part is the museum - on the other side of the loch from Tamsin's home.
Tamsin gained a skill point in Athletics, learned Sim Fu and socialised with townies. But she did't look happy. It was now two days since she lost her friendship with Stuart, and she wanted to regain it. I decided she would visit Stuart and talk to him.
When she arrived at Stuart's house he was just going out with his dog, but he turned back when he saw her.
Before I could direct her what to say to him, Tamsin went for "enthuse about comic book". I wasn't sure that was a good idea, given that they fell out when he insulted her taste. How do avant-garde artists feel about comic books?
But he responded positively - they instantly became friends again - and then smiled a cute shy smile.
I chose art as their next topic of conversation, to be on the safe side.
Stuart was the first to start flirting, and Tamsin was more than happy to respond!
While they were amorously hugging one another, Stuart invited Tamsin to another formal dress party that evening.
Tamsin went home to shower and change into a new formal outfit. But when it was time for the party, she wasn't able to go because the host wasn't at home anymore.
Where was Stuart? I used Master Controller to focus on him and found him visiting the Cowan farm which is pretty much on the opposite end of the map.
I hated to see Tamsin dressed up with nowhere to go, so I sent her to the nectary, which was that night's hotspot. Her boss Ajeet Chopra was there with his wife and daughter, so she socialised with them.
(I know that the host not being there for their own party is something that just happens in the game sometimes, but it fit very well with Stuart's character and with his behaviour so far!)
@bekkasan I dont want to have to move between houses so they will be staying togheter.
Im just waiting for him to wish to marry, as I would like both to wish for it before they get married.
He had that wish before but it disappeared when I went to edit world so waiting for it to come back.

Thanks for the kind words everyone I've spent the last couple of days working on my game and getting it up to speed and now it's working brilliantly! The main thing that helped was compressing all my CC into 5 merged files. Unfortunately I included a custom skin I downloaded because I thought I would love it and I don't and I want to rip it out so I'll figure out how to do that next time I come out lol. I'm a perfectionist, so I will only do that, when I feel like I really enjoy what I've built. But anyway, a brief look is already possible, I always wanted to show my house everyone here.
Here's the ground floor view for you, to ease the understanding of the way the living room's built, because it's a little bit unusual. You can see, that I haven't built the hall yet.

And an arch to the dining room. Sheryl worked a lot at this place in the house, she bought that fountain, which Steve really hates.
I'll buy them a standard computer for this table, but Sheryl left her notebook here.

Yes, they do have their own "zones". When Sheryl just started living with Steve, he gave her a whole room for her stuff, because she was his true love. And Steve leaves his guitars everywhere in the house, but mostly in the living room. I'll build a home recording studio for him some day.

Played with the Thawns in Starlight Shores (I think that's where they are). Arcelia is well on the way to finishing her lifetime wish. I think the next time they come around, I'm going to send Anderson off to China to get started on his.

I had a few comments on my colorful Sims, so I thought I'd say that I prefer the multicolored Sims to the natural ones because it makes genetics easier to differentiate, and families easier to identify. I know that the teal green Sim with hot pink hair is Anderson, and that my version of Becky Black has teal hair. It also help to stave off boredom.
