@Emily4331 The only reason I know how long I spend commenting is because I am a mother and keep tabs on how much I have for certain things between preparing meals and getting things organized for my son. Gone are the days when I could lose hours without worrying about it
My chair is super comfy! The cat and I often have naps in it during the winter The matching sofa is also comfy but the seat is deeper in my recliner and, being half Japanese, I prefer to keep my legs tucked under me, rather than dangling in front. At the moment I am in my kitchen, sitting in a hard chair, and still my legs are tucked Oh, and I am eating a fat-laden raspberry muffin with my cup of tea And all the talk of pizza in this thread made me order a pizza last night. The day starts off with a deer happily going past Stephen and Sakura's house.
After breakfast, Stephen goes to the Prism Art Studio to smelt the metals they found the night before and dumpster dive. When he arrives there are a pair of horses already there.

Sakura is lucky this day, She gets to stay home and work on a new painting.
While at the festival yesterday Stephen received an opportunity to perform at the local school anytime after noon. Once he finishes his dive he goes home to shower then heads over to the school. Stephen receives $500 for the performance.
With the money they got from selling the bugs caught and a few other things (including consignment items) I am able to build an upstairs bathroom for Stephen and Sakura.
After placing a few more items on consignment, Stephen returns home and practices his guitar while Sakura fixes Mac and Cheese for dinner.

I'm kind of geeking right now because my Quantum Leap DVD box set came in the mail today! I got the British version because they didn't omit some of the original music in the show like they did with the DVD's here in the USA. I know, weird right!? And when it comes to me and music....you don't mess with the music!!! (Especially on one of my favorite shows )

@Charlottesmom Hey hun. So, how do I explain the leaping in to people. So...he leaps into a person, their subconsious (and form) shows up in the Imaging Chamber while Sam is in their mind. Everyone else sees Sam as the person he leaped into, but it's really Sam's mind. Does that make sense?

I'll come back later and answer posts and comment on things that you've posted since the last time I did that. I'm currently doing things around the house and playing the game sporadically. There are now 3 days to Spring and I've decided it's time to start making snowmen. I've got most of them making snowmen. So far they've made lots of classic and evil snowmen. But there has been one hockey player and a few alien snowmen. I'd like them to make the other two as well. I know one I'm missing is the tragic clown snowman but I forget which other(s) are still to be done.
But the real reason for my post is that Sam made the extra friend and I sent him to the library to read Charisma Volume 3.
He's now at the top of level 8 in Charisma and needs two more friends to progress further.
He's at level 7 in Athletic.
Those are the two skills he needs to progress in his career.
He is often wearing his career outfit when he works on athletic or charisma skill.
Well while he was sitting nice and warm in the library he progressed to level 10 in his career. So he's now at level 10 in the lifeguard career and just has to rescue sims from now on to get his island.
I don't now how many sims he's rescued so far so I'll just have to wing it and see how long it takes.
@king_of_simcity7 I don't know how the yellow ghost died as she died while I wasn't watching the game. She isn't a household member. She is a homeless mermaid. I think she died on my lot but I got her tombstone from the mausoleum and placed her urn on my lot so she'd be there. She's the mermaid Mia Azul and I think she dehydrated while at my Sim's bachelorette party but I don't really know what happened to her.
@Mikezumi I got bored with the game. It is going to be a while before I get those last two islands. It was winter. I thought about changing the length of Winter so I could concentrate on getting Sam working on his career but decided to wait the extra 11 days that still had to go. I return to the game sporadically and check on how they are going and tend to their needs. If all is going well I save. I can always close the game and reopen it if something terrible happens. I just want them to get to the end of winter and want Sam to progress in his career. He's still going to the beach in the snow and rescuing sims autonomously. I don't have the time to sit here and watch and wait for it all to unfold. So I leave it run. It wasn't running all night though. I had the computer hibernating. I have saved a few times so far today and closed it down and cleaned the save and deleted caches and relaunched - didn't want to see an error 12.
EDIT: BTW It is now only 3 days until Spring so I'll soon be back at the beach with Sam. And I've got Meryl helping me build their resort. Sam has finally moved to a different beach too so I can now get some beach shots with a different background.
This is the Tragic Clown one of my Sims made a few years ago.
I've only had it once in one game and want another one. I may need to add a llama to the game and send my sims through it until one of them turns into a tragic clown. Or maybe one of them has to be sad.
Built a Hookah lounge to own...and the game gets stuck in a saving loop. Guess I'll have to reload and do it all over again!

I had a screen capture of the family reaching the funds for their next expansion but I came to the forum and copied some text before I remembered that I hadn't dropped the screen capture in paint first Anyhow, they just got over the $20,000 and I added a room for the kids I also expanded and moved the bathroom so it was accessible to both bedrooms. I wanted the bigger bathroom because Aideen had rolled a wish a while back that I had to cancel because they only had a shower. Next time she (or Derry) rolls a wish to go on a submarine adventure, they can This is not the final look. I moved the bunkbed and added a desk and computer to the kids' room as well.
The family also got a car! That will come in hand when the boys roll wishes to teach Aideen to drive when she is a teen

Okay everyone, we're back from the ER and everything is sort of fine for now. They took x-rays of his hand/wrist and shoulder as that too was hurting but they came back fine as there wasn't any breaks. He needs to have his arm in a sling as he may have either pulled or torn a rotator cuff
@lisasc360 You play WoW? Remind me at some point. I'm on a break from it after going hard on the mythic dungeons at the beginning of Legion, but I will definitely play again eventually. You should add me whenever I do! That'd be fun!
Zangarmarsh is beautiful, but my favorite zone from Burning Crusade is probably Netherstorm. I love the eco-domes among the wasteland! And the sky is so pretty around that....Favorite zone from vanilla is hmm...I'd say Feralas. Underused and underappreciated zone. I love the look of it. Wotlk, the zones were pretty dreary but I thought Storm Peaks was the best looking. Cataclysm is easy - love Hyjal. It is pretty and a breeze to quest through. In Mists of Pandaria I enjoyed Kun Lai Summit. It is gorgeous. I try to forget Warlords of Draenor but I thought Shadowmoon Valley was cool looking. I prefer Outland Shadowmoon Valley, though. Lastly, in Legion...toughie. They are all so pretty. I'm going to say Suramar because Suramar City is impressively massive and amazing to travel through once you get past how amazingly annoying it can be.
I've been playing it since about a month or 2 before BC came out. But the hubby had that EP as I was just getting into the game and didn't have enough RAM to play WoW. The lag got so bad with it when I was in the major cities but would then get better once I left Orgrimmar. I too am taking a break from WoW and trying to gain the rep needed for the Pathfinder achievement as well as the Lore Master for Legion. I really don't understand how Blizzard could take away flying for the newer areas now only to put them back on and make us work for it. The only thing that I can think of why they do that is to keep players around longing since some will stop playing after reaching cap level. That would be great, just let me know what your game ID is when you decide to go back... Now there is a few in the original areas of the base game that I liked before they went and added the patch that messed them up. Thousand Needles was one, Feralas, Un'guro Crater was the other. I'm sure there were others from that side of the map though. Then besides Zangarmarsh from BC, I also like Terokker Forest but I love Nagrand for the scenery and such. Netherstorm is a nice one also and I like the eco-dorms as well... Onto WotLK, I love starting in Howling Fjord when going over there. Grizzly Hills is another one that I like as well as Shozar Basin. And Storm Peaks is another one. I like the snowy areas of that section... I too would say Mt. Hyjal as well as Uldum are my favorites. I really like all of the areas of MoP... MoP is one of the EP's that I just love going back to.
WoD is another one that I just love myself and find myself missing those areas a lot. I do have a level 100 DK that I just left over as I still want to play in that section before moving her to the Legion side. You're right about Suramar and the city, so I guess I would say that would be my favorite at the moment... Sorry that this is so long...

You're welcome... And thank you... That was so fun to do and yes, she totally deserved what she got... My hubby knows that he has nothing to worry about either but I just think that he probably thinks that with me playing my sim and pairing them up with other male sims, that he probably thinks that I would rather be with someone else. Of course that's not the case with me as I want him and no one but him. It's just that I sometimes I would rather have my sim doing other things as the same old game play gets dull after awhile and I just need to shake things up a little...
I looked up the Sims Wiki and discovered the sim needed to be grumpy or hate the outdoors or have -40 happiness. So I pulled down the needs bars on three sims and set them to work making snowmen. One of them made a tragic clown. So I now have all 6 snowmen in my family inventory. I decided to pick them up and do this as there were over 60 of them.
They were building on Divers Den island, Plumbob Island and their home lot. These pics are at Diver's Den and Plumbob Island.
I've started on the resort - the platform on Divers Den is the beginning of the Resort Build.

But I will still write him a love letter though...
Since Brian wasn't home, I will go back to the dorm and spray paint on the sidewalk in the pouring rain because I am a rebel like that...

@emorrill I've never played with ghosts or ghost babies so kinda hoping for one. Hubby wants to know why I want to make ambrosia to turn the ghost if I've never played a ghost before. I told him I want to see the pretty clothes patterns and colors and you can't if they stay a ghost. He just rolled his eyes at me!! lololololol

Jenna earned enough for another upgrade. Since I have making her have a homestead, I decided that this 4x4 block would be a start for a barn. Eventually get her a horse or two. I also created a backyard space and added more plants about the property.
Yes, I'm still behind, but I have to share this crazy thing that just happened to me. So, my sim is pregnant. She has the baby (another girl, that's 4 girls and a boy). She and the father get home. Put the baby in the crib. My game crashes.
I restart the computer, clear the caches, clean out the bad saves folder, run save-clean, etc. Restart the game. Load up to about a couple hours before she gave birth. She has the baby. Another girl. Bring the girl home from hospital, put in crib. The game crashes with an error 12.
And again a third time, the game crashes with error 12 on save. No idea why.
So, I'm playing this save for a FOURTH time, again, she has the baby, with the father, it gives me the prompt the name the girl and choose her traits. I pick, and send her home again, expecting the game to crash. Instead ANOTHER prompt comes up to name the baby girl. I'm like, uhm.... didn't I already do that? Oh crud, SHE HAD TWINS THIS TIME!?!?!?!!??! OMGOMGOMGOMG! Quickly, save before they get home and it crashes!! I thought the choice for twins or not was set earlier in the pregnancy, not at time of birth. Guess I learned something.
This is going to be fun. Two teen daughters, one child daughter, one toddler daughter, one toddler son, and now twin baby daughters. I hope I can manage this game now without it crashing again due to out of memory (Error 12).
And these sim parents are going to be even more grateful for the nanny-bot they have.

Cory and Angel were both very busy with fishing at the pool and getting their house built over the next four days.They were fishing at the pool the next day in mid-summer and made a few catches.
They got another section of wall up on their first section of the house later before getting to bed.
They had a night at the market and got started on the day's work the next morning.
They got home later and earned over 1700$ for the day before getting another wall up.
They had another very busy day and got the final section of wall up for the first part of the house before getting ready for bed.
They made another trip to the pool for more fishing and caught more fish the next day.
They earnes 2500$ and finished with adding doors and windows to their house.They slept in the house in sleeping bags.
Yes, I'm still behind, but I have to share this crazy thing that just happened to me. So, my sim is pregnant. She has the baby (another girl, that's 4 girls and a boy). She and the father get home. Put the baby in the crib. My game crashes.
I restart the computer, clear the caches, clean out the bad saves folder, run save-clean, etc. Restart the game. Load up to about a couple hours before she gave birth. She has the baby. Another girl. Bring the girl home from hospital, put in crib. The game crashes with an error 12.
And again a third time, the game crashes with error 12 on save. No idea why.
So, I'm playing this save for a FOURTH time, again, she has the baby, with the father, it gives me the prompt the name the girl and choose her traits. I pick, and send her home again, expecting the game to crash. Instead ANOTHER prompt comes up to name the baby girl. I'm like, uhm.... didn't I already do that? Oh crud, SHE HAD TWINS THIS TIME!?!?!?!!??! OMGOMGOMGOMG! Quickly, save before they get home and it crashes!! I thought the choice for twins or not was set earlier in the pregnancy, not at time of birth. Guess I learned something.
This is going to be fun. Two teen daughters, one child daughter, one toddler daughter, one toddler son, and now twin baby daughters. I hope I can manage this game now without it crashing again due to out of memory (Error 12).
And these sim parents are going to be even more grateful for the nanny-bot they have.
I was having troubles until I did a fresh install of windows 10, added free version of Advanced system care with other programs. I only delete screenshots, run the disk cleanup, and delete the 3 older game saves. That might help

@Emily4331 The only reason I know how long I spend commenting is because I am a mother and keep tabs on how much I have for certain things between preparing meals and getting things organized for my son. Gone are the days when I could lose hours without worrying about it

I put the casino stuff in so they would have something fun to do other than go to the movies.
Christopher working on his gardening and cooking and fishing skills so he can prepare the ambrosia.
Annabelle had a surprise happen today and needs to talk with Christopher about it.
She tells Christopher that she is pregnant and waits to see what he has to say.

The day starts off with a deer happily going past Stephen and Sakura's house.
After breakfast, Stephen goes to the Prism Art Studio to smelt the metals they found the night before and dumpster dive. When he arrives there are a pair of horses already there.

Sakura is lucky this day, She gets to stay home and work on a new painting.
While at the festival yesterday Stephen received an opportunity to perform at the local school anytime after noon. Once he finishes his dive he goes home to shower then heads over to the school. Stephen receives $500 for the performance.
With the money they got from selling the bugs caught and a few other things (including consignment items) I am able to build an upstairs bathroom for Stephen and Sakura.
After placing a few more items on consignment, Stephen returns home and practices his guitar while Sakura fixes Mac and Cheese for dinner.

But the real reason for my post is that Sam made the extra friend and I sent him to the library to read Charisma Volume 3.
He's now at the top of level 8 in Charisma and needs two more friends to progress further.
He's at level 7 in Athletic.
Those are the two skills he needs to progress in his career.
He is often wearing his career outfit when he works on athletic or charisma skill.
Well while he was sitting nice and warm in the library he progressed to level 10 in his career. So he's now at level 10 in the lifeguard career and just has to rescue sims from now on to get his island.
I don't now how many sims he's rescued so far so I'll just have to wing it and see how long it takes.
@king_of_simcity7 I don't know how the yellow ghost died as she died while I wasn't watching the game. She isn't a household member. She is a homeless mermaid. I think she died on my lot but I got her tombstone from the mausoleum and placed her urn on my lot so she'd be there. She's the mermaid Mia Azul and I think she dehydrated while at my Sim's bachelorette party but I don't really know what happened to her.
@Mikezumi I got bored with the game. It is going to be a while before I get those last two islands. It was winter. I thought about changing the length of Winter so I could concentrate on getting Sam working on his career but decided to wait the extra 11 days that still had to go. I return to the game sporadically and check on how they are going and tend to their needs. If all is going well I save. I can always close the game and reopen it if something terrible happens. I just want them to get to the end of winter and want Sam to progress in his career. He's still going to the beach in the snow and rescuing sims autonomously. I don't have the time to sit here and watch and wait for it all to unfold. So I leave it run. It wasn't running all night though. I had the computer hibernating. I have saved a few times so far today and closed it down and cleaned the save and deleted caches and relaunched - didn't want to see an error 12.
EDIT: BTW It is now only 3 days until Spring so I'll soon be back at the beach with Sam. And I've got Meryl helping me build their resort. Sam has finally moved to a different beach too so I can now get some beach shots with a different background.

I've only had it once in one game and want another one. I may need to add a llama to the game and send my sims through it until one of them turns into a tragic clown. Or maybe one of them has to be sad.

Derry saved a lot of time coming to breakfast through the wall
I risked the kids being late for school but the morning smooch was worth it
Aideen wanted to have a tea party with her teddy - of course she chose to do it right in front of the dishwasher
I had a screen capture of the family reaching the funds for their next expansion but I came to the forum and copied some text before I remembered that I hadn't dropped the screen capture in paint first
The family also got a car! That will come in hand when the boys roll wishes to teach Aideen to drive when she is a teen
After the renovations, Cliff got his notice while sketching in the kids' room
The family also got chickens! I sent Jordan to feed them and he autonomously asked "Why did the chicken cross the road"

After homework, Aideen finished her painting. It was worth $223 and it is in her inventory. She will have a good nest egg when she leaves home
A pregnant man needs iron and protein so the family had burgers for dinner

@Emily4331, I've been playing it since about a month or 2 before BC came out. But the hubby had that EP as I was just getting into the game and didn't have enough RAM to play WoW. The lag got so bad with it when I was in the major cities but would then get better once I left Orgrimmar. I too am taking a break from WoW and trying to gain the rep needed for the Pathfinder achievement as well as the Lore Master for Legion. I really don't understand how Blizzard could take away flying for the newer areas now only to put them back on and make us work for it. The only thing that I can think of why they do that is to keep players around longing since some will stop playing after reaching cap level. That would be great, just let me know what your game ID is when you decide to go back...
WoD is another one that I just love myself and find myself missing those areas a lot. I do have a level 100 DK that I just left over as I still want to play in that section before moving her to the Legion side. You're right about Suramar and the city, so I guess I would say that would be my favorite at the moment...

@NabiMeko I don't know that I've ever had 2 burglaries in one day, but, sure have had lots of stuff break down and I figured it was easier to bulldoze and move rather than fix it.

@emorrill I've never played with ghosts or ghost babies so kinda hoping for one. Hubby wants to know why I want to make ambrosia to turn the ghost if I've never played a ghost before. @MoonandStars83 -I had a slow game and replaced the shortcut yesterday and it loaded up faster.It would be a great idea to test your shortcut by creating a new one with the old one moved into a folder to see if the freezing stops and you can just use the new one if it solved the freezing like it did so far on mine.
@Emily4331 -THanks for the comment.I had to use a repair shop since my computer is a laptop and I got that instead of a desktop because I know I'll have to relocate at some point and don't want to have no computer for a few days because of having to pack it up.Desktops also tend to not survive long moves very well without some kind of damage.

Here's my Deery Meadows Update below.
Cory and Angel were both very busy with fishing at the pool and getting their house built over the next four days.They were fishing at the pool the next day in mid-summer and made a few catches.
They got another section of wall up on their first section of the house later before getting to bed.
They had a night at the market and got started on the day's work the next morning.
They got home later and earned over 1700$ for the day before getting another wall up.
They had another very busy day and got the final section of wall up for the first part of the house before getting ready for bed.
They made another trip to the pool for more fishing and caught more fish the next day.
They earnes 2500$ and finished with adding doors and windows to their house.They slept in the house in sleeping bags.
