Until recetly I didn't know kids can get a happy moodlet from having a sibling (all of my sims kids only had sad/angry ones or no reaction at all).
@take0nme Thank you, she is the founder of my legacy. I used to play with Disney princesses in TS3, too I also created all of them in TS4 CAS Demo. I guess I am a but of a Disney freak
You can go to someone else's house and use their rocket. My sim was at a neighbor's house stealing stuff out of their garden so I clicked on their rocket to see what options she would get and it gave her the explore space one and the upgrade one. Basically you can have one rocket in the all the neighborhoods and everyone into rockets can go over to their house and work on and use it.
The rocket has to be at a house though. Sims can't build rockets at the park. I have tried but it did not work.
Then I changed the park to a residence and moved in a Sim without selling possessions then placed an already built rocket on the lot. I moved the Sim to another leaving the rocket there. Changed the lot back to a park and the rocket worked when my Sim visited the park.
So built rockets can work at the park. Well that is what I thought. The next time I had a Sim go to the park to use the rocket it did not have any interactions. Not sure why.
Don't know if this has been mentioned, sorry if it has. If your sim is very flirty, they can attempt to seduce the grim reaper into letting their loved one live lol. Learned this yesterday.
Okay, I haven't read the whole thread, but found out if they go to bed flirty they mutter in their sleep with the flirty voice, and their hands move more like they are teasing someone while flirting.
Also if you profess undying love to a non-committal sim they start snoring at you you also lose points. Now I'm not sure if that continues if the relationship is really high. It was funny watching my insane romantic and Don just a bit ago.
There's a special computer that unlocks at level 10 of the Scientist career and you can use it to "Contact Aliens"!
So, in other words, you don't have to rely on the satellite that much anymore once you have the computer unlocked.
Oh, oh think I got one that hasn't been mentioned. Raises her hand me! me!
Ghosts don't cast shadows but what they are holding does if it's physical. You can see the fishing pole's shadow under my sim.
Your Sims does not need to be in the science career to buy the chemical analyzer (I think that's what is called) Anyway my Sims can analyze collectibles (the crystals and metals from the spawners that look like rocks) and get new rare collectibles sometimes. I needed one last metal and my Sim got it from using this table while analyzing a crystal.
Also, the fish from the buydebug cheat do not have a freshness rating and do not freak out my neat Sim when placed in a fish bowl. The fish my Sims catch always go foal and stink out the place.
If you have Get To Work and your sims get ill you don't have to buy medication from the computer to get them better, if they drink orange juice or tea it helps them to heal albeit a little slower than taking medicine.
An Alien Sim's Disguise can vary from more than one different look. As in, they could have 5 different skin tones, eye and hair colours etc. for 5 different attires. With Alien's, their disguises can practically be created like completely different Sims.
Live your life to the fullest, don't wait for a miracle to happen, be the miracle to make things happen.
Sometimes your creativity is limited where you use it most, but you can use those limitations to inspire new forms of creativity you may never have thought of beforehand.
The neighborhood in Oasis Springs where the Caliente's live is like a golf community with matching houses and you can see a golf course in the background. Look for the little red golf flags!
And there are even sprinklers for the grass in the desert!
There's apparently more than one way to get to that secret area in Oasis Springs besides far into the park area, which include...
...Behind the Landgraab's lot. (Affluista Mansion?)
Take the path here and...
It's there.
Leads to the same place and it totally works. :^D Makes me wonder if there are more weird trees in Willow Creek...
A bit upsetting that it isn't a new hidden area, though. ;_; Maybe at least a different side of that place would've sufficed. xD
With Outdoor Retreat you have coolers and tents. You can pull them out in community lots.. I've camped in Desert Bloom Park, Magnolia Blossom Park and Sylvan Glade so far... Homeless people will come sleep with you
I found out that the neighbourhoods are bigger than they looked lol, I looked around Magnolia Park and found that there are outdoor public toilets! I never knew that haha
I didn't know any of the things the OP commented were in the game, that's really cool! It's these small things that get me excited
I found out that your Sims can coach their Children on swimming and splash them, they basically can do any interaction but with more added lol
I found out that if your Sim finished High School with the A Grade they advance to level 3 in a Career they join.
I found out that Sims can play with Children on playgrounds and pretend to be monsters on the Ship.
I found out that Grim Reaper can be your employee.
I found out that watering plants with your tears takes a while lol
I found out that there are NPCs that have special interactions such as the Gym Trainer who can train your Sim and help them build up the Fitness Skill.
!?!? Gym trainers?? What! I did not even know they were in the game. How do you know who the gym trainer is?
We have gym trainers (they teach you fitness skill giving your skill leveling a big boost), librarians (I still don't know what they are for but I haven't explored so to speak this npc), fisherman that fish in the park, community gardeners, mixologists etc.
TS4 doesn't have a lack of NPC's it has more than TS3 and almost as much as TS2 base game but the ones you can hire are pretty limited
This isn't something you can do but if you plant your plants in the ground and not a planter it leaves a puddle of water after you water them. If you highlight the water it will say something like 'only a neat freak would try to mop water on natural land'. Kind of cracked me up the first time I saw it because I really wanted to mop up that puddle. Have to use the planters to prevent puddles.

You can sit and have a bubble bath and watch TV/Listen to music. My sim's Friday Nights are so relaxing.
