@king_of_simcity7 FINALLY I'm getting around to comments.
The club is called "Eternal" huh? Well bring on the partay!
----
Hopefully Nick and Simon can meet some nice girls who won't treat them like dirt.
they where both trying to avoid Warren and Dom who had been trying to annoy all of the girls as much as possible.
^Gee that doesn't surprise me.
Simon getting the hots for Humara huh?
----
Cute little flirt there.
Hey Simon, take it from me: There are PLENTY of fun things to do with a girl that don't require much money. Get creative!
Oooh Humara likes him too huh? How cute. Please tell me this will be a relationship that works out? I agree with PalmArrow, they look like a nice couple.
----
Ok, I MUST know how you get that many sims on one lot and dancing!! Teach me Yoda!
Oh boy, I sense trouble from Nick. Perhaps he's not as good a friend as Simon may think??
----
Oh pleeeease let Simon and Humara work out!
Two girls on a bed in their undies, I bet you like seeing that eh King? There is no shame!
@emorrill Thanks for the comments I have a few more pictures of Tammy and Humara but i might not get away with sharing them here lol Nothing woohooty! They are both straight as my Sims are always straight but i had almost forgotten how cute Tammy's bed clothes are!
@king_of_simcity7 That was nice of Simon to buy her a drink and he seemed to get his confidence up very well to chat with her and ask her out for later. Lets hope he doesn't get clingy and she doesn't use him to meet other guys!
It does seem like Humara likes Simon from her conversation with Tammy. Guess we will have to wait and see.
Nick needs to repair his reputation before the girls will try him again. That was a mean sneaky trick he pulled and girls don't like or need that kind of guy in their lives.
The next day Simon was pleased to see that he had already received a text from Humara. He had planned to send her a text first but was worried that she might take a while to text him back but it seemed that she had saved him the hassle and was actually making conversation. He would spend the rest of the day texting her and was looking forward to meeting up with her after college the next day.
He would also make conversation with Nick who still was envious that Simon was getting along well with Humara. Nick was now wanting to get with another girl but could not think of anyone who was suitable. Usually he liked it that he would be the first one to get a relationship before anyone else so knowing that Simon becoming more successful than him made him anxious.
Finally after a slow Sunday the weekend had come to an end so it would be time for everyone to go back to college the next day. Simon would be working in the canteen of course but he knew that at some point he would get to see Humara before they finally met up. It had been arranged that as Humara would have finished earlier in the day she would go home and get ready and then meet Simon in town.
@emorrill Thanks for the comments I have a few more pictures of Tammy and Humara but i might not get away with sharing them here lol Nothing woohooty! They are both straight as my Sims are always straight but i had almost forgotten how cute Tammy's bed clothes are!
In bold: Same here.
Ohhhh I see. Got some calendar worthy pictures of them in their bathing suits eh?

Simon's happy dance at getting a text from Humara! So cute!
I have a special song for Simon right here (even Nick). Seriously, it's a good one. Something he needs to remind himself of.
(Give it a listen King or I'll come after you. )
@king_of_simcity7 I swear you would LOVE Plain White T's music (especially their albums "Stop" and "All That We Needed." <-- YouTube them.) I think you could relate to many of those songs and so could your characters.
@emorrill Thanks for the comments There are a lot of pictures i have of Sims that i can not share here lol
The music reminds me of American high school films of the late 90s/ early 2000s. I don't think they have films like that anymore. 10 Things I Hate About You is 20 years old this year!
@king_of_simcity7 It is nice seeing Simon excited about his date with Humara. I hope he doesn't get too clingy, possessive or otherwise mess it up. I think that is a good song that @emorrill picked for your sims that have those issues of worry about others.
I thought you recently made a sim that was going to be gay. Maybe I was mistaken or you changed your mind.
When he arrived at the canteen on the Monday morning the first person that he saw was Tammy who also knew that Simon and Humara were meeting up.
'I hope that you would be ready to meet up with Humara later?' Tammy asked him as he walked through the door.
'I think that she is looking forward to meeting up with you later,'
'Don't worry, I am not going to let her down,' replied Simon.
'That's good because she would like to meet up with you,' added Tammy.
'Do you think that she likes me then?' asked Simon.
'I think so,' replied Tammy 'she mentioned you a few times to me yesterday before I went home,'
Simon however had some more news as Brenda had arrived with Sue.
'Okay, Simon,' said Sue 'I have some exciting news for you,'
'What's that?' asked Simon.
'Shall we find a table?' suggested Sue as Simon followed her out into the canteen.
'Right, I have been making some phone calls for you,' said Sue as she sat down 'I have managed to get you a permanent placement!'
'A new placement?' asked Simon wondering where Sue was going to send him this time.
'Yes, tomorrow I have got you an interview at a bar called Yates in the town centre!'
Simon knew were Yates was but he had never been inside before as was not sure what to expect.
'Last year we had a couple of our students go there and one of them actually got a job,' explained Sue 'and I might be able to get you a job with them for a while,'
'Okay,' replied Simon wondering if he was ready to move on. He had only just started getting used to working for Brenda.
'Tomorrow when you arrive here for your placement at some point I will take you off for your interview at 11am if that is ok?'
Simon knew that he had no choice but to accept the placement offer but being away from the college was not something that he liked the idea if at the moment.
Simon then went back into the kitchen were Brenda seemed to be pleased that he was moving on.
'Well congratulations,' she said to him 'a new placement would be good for you!'
'Yes,' agreed Simon 'but who will take my place here?'
'Not to worry,' replied Brenda 'Regan has finally started to get a few people placements himself. Nick will be taking your place!'
So Nick was finally getting a placement with Simon and of course Simon had to leave that week. Once again Nick would still have an easier ride than him. At least for now he had a date with Humara to look forward to and he still managed to see her during the break in the morning and the afternoon. He managed to make some conversation with her and so far she seemed to be looking forward to meeting up with him. It was now only a few hours until they could finally spend some time together.
@bekkasan Thanks for the comments Yes I do have one gay Sim but she has not featured yet but the main characters are all straight. I am still open to diversity in The Sims
@king_of_simcity7 Hope everything goes well at Yates for Simon.
So Nick is taking Simon's place, hope he enjoys it working at the canteen.
Great update!
@emorrill Thanks for the comments There are a lot of pictures i have of Sims that i can not share here lol
The music reminds me of American high school films of the late 90s/ early 2000s. I don't think they have films like that anymore. 10 Things I Hate About You is 20 years old this year!
^That would be because those songs were written around that time. Good catch my friend. That era of music is my JAM! 🎵
10 Things I Hate About You was a great movie! (RIP Heath Ledger )
20 years...Man that makes me feel old and I'm only 34!
Finally Simon was free to meet up with Humara and made his way towards the bus stop to meet her. He sent her a text to let her know that he was on his way and she quickly replied to him to let him know that she was almost ready. He could not believe that it was actually happening and that he was going to meet her.
The bus journey seemed to take forever but Simon continued to receive texts off of Humara and she was now waiting for her bus to arrive. Simon was feeling nervous by the time his bus arrived in the town centre but he was feeling excited but the wait for Humara to arrive seemed to take ages. A lot of buses would come and go but finally he saw the bus that Humara told him that she was on in the distance. She was finally here.
The bus stopped at its bus stop and Simon could see Humara walking down the bus ready to get off. It has only been a couple of hours since he last saw her earlier that day but she was wearing something different and Simon liked how she looked.
'So what she well do then?' she asked him when she had finally gotten off the bus.
'I don't know,' replied Simon 'maybe head towards the beach?'
They both walked towards the seafront while talking to each other. This was the first time that Simon had been with Humara by himself and he felt that he liked her more now that they were alone together. They found themselves somewhere to sit down and continued to nervously talk to each other.
'So have you met up with anyone else from the skills centre by yourself?' Simon asked Humara.
'I have only met up with Tammy,' replied Humara 'what about you?'
'I know Nick from when I went to school,' said Simon 'and I used to go out with Leanda of course,'
'Yeah I don't really like her much,' said Humara.
'Why not?' asked Simon.
'I just don't like her,' replied Humara 'I get along with Cassie better and they have fallen out now anyway?'
'I wonder why?' asked Simon.
'Something to do with guys I think,' said Humara 'I think that Leanda might leave the course as they had an argument the other day,'
'It is a shame that I missed that,' said Simon 'I would have been in the canteen,'
'Yeah I miss having you and Tammy in our lessons,' said Humara.
'Really?'
'Well you are one of the only guys in there who is not annoying,' said Humara.
'Well they want me to go on a new placement,' explained Simon.
'Where are they sending you?' Humara asked him.
'They want me to go to Yeates,' replied Simon.
'So that means you won't go to the kills centre anymore?'
'Only once or twice a week,' said Simon glumly.
'I would hate to be away from the skills centre,' said Humara.
'We could still meet up at the weekends as well,' suggested Simon.
'Yes we can,' smiled Humara.
'What are you doing this weekend coming?' Simon asked her.
'Well Cassie has invited me and Tammy to go to this small gathering,' said Humara.
'I was going to ask her if you could come?'
'I would be up for that,' agreed Simon.
They had spent the rest of their date talking and felt like they had a lot in common. Simon was hoping that eventually something would happen between them.
After a couple of hours spending time together Simon walked Humara to the bus stop and waited for her until her bus arrived to take her home. It had been a good evening for them and they continued to text each other for the rest of the evening. The only problem that Simon had to face now was this new work placement which he was in two minds about. There always seemed to be an obstacle whenever things started to work out for him.
When Simon arrived at the skills centre the next day Sue was waiting for him in the canteen to take him to his work placement. Simon was still happy with the previous night with Humara and was feeling more optimistic about the interview but would still have rather not gone.
The interview was taking place at a bar called Yeates which also sold food and Simon's placement would be in the kitchen. The kitchen manager was someone named Ron Simpson and had taken on someone from the course once before. Simon had never been inside Yeates before but he knew where it was as it was right in the town centre.
When they arrived it was mostly quiet at that time of the day and there was only one person working at the bar. Sue spoke them then to let them know that they were there to meet the kitchen manager. The bar man went out the back and then less than a minute later he returned with the man assumed to be Ron Simpson.
'Hello, you must be Mr Sampson?' Sue asked him straight away.
'Yes that is me,' replied the chef.
'Well we are ready for the interview,' replied Sue enthusiastically.
'Right, we will find a table,' said Mr Simpson and both Simon and Sue followed him into the restaurant area and sat at a table.
'Ok, so you want to do a work placement here?' Mr Simpson asked.
'Yes,' replied Simon knowing that he could not turn it down.
'Well we took on Bret last year,' said Mr Simpson.
'How is Bret doing?' asked Sue.
'Yes he is fine, really good actually,' replied Mr Simpson.
'So how many hours are you offering?' asked Sue.
'Well we had Bret on four days a week,' replied Mr Simpson 'you could be offered some weekend work if you want?'
'Yes, I can do that,' replied Simon glumly.
He was not sure of what to make of Mr Simpson yet. He seemed somewhat bland and not overly friendly. Sue ended up doing most of the talking for the interview and it had eventually been decided that Simon would work at Yeates on a placement Sundays until Wednesday each week and would attend the skills centre on Fridays giving him Thursdays and Saturdays off and would have his first shift the following day.
@king_of_simcity7
Aww, I'm so happy for Simon right now. He deserves to be with a good girl and I hope she'll stay true to him and they'll both treat each other right.
I liked hearing that Humara doesn't like Leanda ( not surprising ). That's a hint to me that she's no where like Leanda!
I guess the new placement does create a bump in the road, but like Simon said (Simon says! ) they can still find ways to see each other regardless.
There always seemed to be an obstacle whenever things started to work out for him.
^Ain't that the truth in life sometimes.
I pray he won't hit ANY obstacles! I want him and Humara's relationship to last! No one else's seem to!
That doesn't sound like a bad work schedule for Simon. Thursdays and Saturdays for the win in spending time with Humara!
@emorrill Thanks for the feedback I have a few more bits to right but some of it will not be suitable for the forums. I will add more bits to my blog at some point tomorrow
Once the interview finished Mr Sampson thanked them for coming in and Sue drove Simon back to the skills centre to spend his last day working for Brenda. When they arrived back at the canteen Simon had noticed that Nick was working in there. He was already being replaced. At least he could have the rest of the morning to see Humara again during the morning break before he joined Brenda and the others in the kitchen for the last time. Brenda seemed pleased that Simon had gotten an actual work placement and he was the first person out of the course to work away from the skills centre, He did not feel that enthusiastic however. The only thing that he wanted was to spend more time with Humara and this new placement could spoil all of that.
The next day Simon got up early to head to his new work placement but he would have still rather gone to the skills centre. At Yeates he let someone at the bar know who he was and then someone from the kitchen came out to meet him.
'You alright, my name is Bret, you are from the skills centre aren't you?' said Bret as he introduced himself to Simon.
'Yes that's right,' replied Simon.
'Sue still likes to get everyone on placements then?' joked Bret.
'This is my second one,' replied Simon 'I used to work in the canteen with Brenda,'
'Yes I worked for Brenda,' replied Bret as Simon followed him through the back of house area towards an office. Inside was the kitchen manager who nodded at Bret through the door.
'Simpson, I have Simon with me,' said Bret.
'Oh, nice,' replied Mr Simpson 'Have you got an apron and appropriate shoes with you?'
'Yes I have,' replied Simon.
'Good, first we will have to start with the usual health and safety regulations, I will show you around and then you can work with Bret, maybe do some prep work or something,' said Mr Simpson.
@king_of_simcity7 Finally catching up on your updates. Simon does not seem too thrilled to be getting a new work assignment.
I can understand he was just getting to know the ones involved in the courses and of course Humara.
Looks like a nice first date. Getting to know each other by chatting.
Sounds like a good job with decent time off too. Hopefully it will work out.
Simon had mixed reactions working for Simpson that first week at his placement. He got along well with Bret but he was not so sure about some of the other staff. Most of the bar maids seemed to be pretentious while one of the other chefs was annoying and wanted to play pranks all the time. Simpson seemed to be quite cold some of the time as well. Simon was relived to get Friday off to be able to go back to the skills centre. He had spent most of the week texting Humara and he really could not wait to spend more time with her at the weekend. There was a party planned and Cassie had invited a few of them round to her friend's place.
Cassie was friends with someone called Doug who she knew from outside of the skills centre through Doug's girlfriend.
It was arranged that everyone would meet Cassie in the town centre and then get the bus towards Doug's place.
