Is everyone still interested in this circle? It's ok if you all don't really have time. I have some time before I start writing season 2 so I can now catch up on your stories
Yup. I'll have some time after next week to join any conversations. I'm caught up with everyone's stories as far as I'm aware.
Hi everyone *waves*, so sorry for going MIA on you all. Work has been seriously crazy over the last couple of months, I've hardly had a chance to sit and play my game or catch up on your stories. I'm still alive. Still very much interested in being part of the reading circle. I'm slowly working my way though all your updates.
Hi everyone. Just letting you know that this week Friends of Foes will be featured as a Tasty Read in Bookclub. The chapter that will be the focus of discussion is Henry and The Prince. So feel free to drop on by.
Would love to see you there.
Hey! I have a question. It appears I have PTLT on a bit of a hiatus for a while and I just started Gen 2 of my apocalypse story, WAWRMO. Is it possible to temporarily switch them out? I'm only 2 chapters into Gen 2 (the gens are completely separate so no need to read gen 1)
Okay so was going to wait until later to post this but I have a question(?) Does anyone have any tips on writing a convincing argument between characters? I need to write one at some point but I don't think my arguments are very convincing.
Hey everyone, sorry I've been MIA from this circle. Until I'm no longer working 2 jobs, I'm pretty swamped. I'm having trouble keeping up with everyone.

@Bugsie2016 Great question! Think about the inciting point of conflict. Why would an argument start between two or more people? Think about the people involved. What matters to them? Who or what would they defend? What ticks them off? Think about the emotions. How does this inciting incident start between these people and how does it make them feel? Then in terms of dialogue, I recommend listening to real life or movie and tv conversations and read your own dialogue aloud to see if it sounds natural.
I really want to apologize for ghosting on this reading circle. The truth is, I started this when I thought I would have the time, but now I find myself too busy for anything anymore (I barely have time to even write my own story). I would hate to keep this going while I am being so flaky so I think I have to end this circle @simscognito and @Bugsie2016 thank you so much for always posting your chapters here. I don't want you to think it was for nothing. I promise I will keep following your stories and comment sometimes
I do read your stories, but I definitely can't catch up in time to even start a discussion. Maybe in the future we can start this up again.
Hey @Acarb90 I totally understand and I've ghosted this circle too. Sorry everyone. Life is so much busier than I expected this summer. I'm in a relentless season of work. So I totally understand needing to do less and taking care of yourself and prioritizing other things over the Sims. Wishing you all well.
