Adam came into Alice's room to say goodnight. Alice feeling playful invites him to stay awhile. They cuddle on top of the sheets enjoying the closeness that comes from being in love as well as lifemates. Things get heated and suddenly Adam has a thumping pain in his head as if someone just smacked him.....HARD. Adam frustrated sits on the side of the bed. "Do you think your Dad will get out of my head when we get married?"
Alice sighs deeply, "I think we need to have a talk with Dad and Mom when we get back home."
Adam agrees, and trudges off to his bedroom, stopping at the bathroom for a cold shower first.
Across the hall, the only ones in Rafe and Autumn's heads is each other. They celebrate the birth of their daughter and their love for each other.
Adam and Seth get to know each other as they enjoy pancakes on the outside deck. Seth cannot stop himself from glancing over at Shea as she works in her garden. He has an idea that he needs to talk with Rafe about after watching her work. Rafe is playing with Christina while Autumn sleeps in a bit longer. He dresses himself and takes Christina downstairs and puts her in the swing. She happily coos and gurgles and dances with the music from the swing. Rafe just fell in love with his daughter a little bit more.
Seth catches up with Rafe and asks him to come outside with him. He tells Rafe about his idea for a gardening station to help Shea with the garden. He explains what he wants to do and Rafe throws in a few ideas as well. Seth is so excited about the project he tells Rafe he is going to start on it right away and disappears into the caverns where his workshop is located.
Autumn is awake and hears Will stirring around. She gets Will up and gives him breakfast and takes him outside for a ride on the spring rider. After his ride they sit on the floor and Autumn reads to Will as his sister rides in the swing and Rafe practices his mixology skill. Shea has jogged to the local gym to do a workout. Alice and Adam are touring Barnacle Bay and like all good supernaturals they start at the local cemetery.

Shea enjoys her first session at the gym. She tries all the machines, but, loves the yoga mats the best. When she finishes her workout she decides to get a massage to help her aching muscles. Back home Autumn is slowly learning how to cook, or at least learning the recipes. Rafe will be learning as well. They both realize Shea won't be with them forever and they need to be able to fix food for the kids until they are old enough for plasma.
Rafe decides to fix something special for his first attempt at cooking. He wants to cook the kinds of foods that kids love to eat. Cookies! Looks like he did a great job.
Alice and Adam continue their tour of Barnacle Bay at one of the local parks. Adam stargazes and Alice is inspired to paint on the easel in the park. They climb down a nearby path to a marina and rent a couple of Aqua Sleds and fly across the water enjoying the sun and water.
Seth has finished his project and installed it. He has been pacing the entryway waiting for Shea to come home. He texted her earlier and she texted back 'soon' for her arrival time. He continues his pacing as he waits for her. He pounces on her as soon as she walks in the door. His excitement is palpable and she wonders what is up with Seth. She has never seen him like this. He explains that he has something to show her and he hopes that she will like it. He makes her close her eyes and he leads her out to the garden. He tells her to open her eyes and she looks around at the new gardening station with delight. "You did this for me," she asks? "This is just wonderful."
He shows her all the things she can do with the composter and how to set it to water the plants and with the magic settings that Rafe placed it will weed the plants and keep them healthy and alive longer.
"I have one more thing to show you." Seth pulls a package out and hands it to her.
"You have done so much already!" Shea exclaims. She smiles as she unwraps the package and looks delightedly at her gift. "It is a beautiful sunflower. Look, it is winking at me." Shea laughs happily.
Seth starts to explain how it works and what it will do.
Rafe is watching Seth and Shea from the back porch. He knew that boy would need some help. He uses his telepathy with Seth and tells him, "shut up with the explanations, tell her it is magic, and for crying out loud ask her out!"
Seth stutters with his explanation and finally say's "it is magic and I hope you love it. Um.....do you.....err.....would you.....um.....like to have dinner with me tonight?
Shea smiles and says "I'd love to have dinner with you tonight."
Seth takes a deep breath and sighs in relief. "I'll knock on your door about 7:30." He heads off back to his workshop.
Rafe laughs in his head and tells him "good boy!"
Shea plays with her gardening station, tilling the soil and planting a few more seeds since the work will be easier she can plant more. She places the sunflower at the front of the garden and watches as a sun pops out of it. The sunflower begins a dance and Shea dances happily with the sunflower and thinks this is the best gift I've ever been given.

Rafe loans Seth his car for the date. "Have a great time, and don't think so much, just enjoy. You might want to tell her a bit about what happened so she will understand you better. I have a feeling Shea can be a very understanding lady."
Seth takes the keys and puts them in his pocket. "I really like her Rafe. She seems very open and honest. I don't want to hurt her with my problems, so maybe talking about it will help."
Seth knocks on Shea's door and she is ready. They climb into the car and he asks her if she has been to Hogan's Deep Sea Diner yet?
"Not yet, it looks like a fun place to go.
"The atmosphere is great and the food is terrific."
They enjoyed the meal and each others company. They have several things in common and many differences that made the conversation interesting to both. Shea wanders over to the statue outside the diner and looks it over. She likes it, but Seth thinks it could have been better. He invites her to take a walk along the beach.
They walk down the beach towards the water enjoying the sounds of the surf and the beautiful night sky. Seth turns to Shea, "lets sit on the beach and talk for a bit. Is that ok?"
Shea thinks he sounds so serious, but agrees and settles next to him on the sand.
"I really, really like you, a lot. I feel there are things you should know though because I think I could get serious about you and I don't want to hurt you."
Shea looks at him and waits.
He tells her about being married before and how she completely changed after the wedding, wanting him to get money from Rafe to buy her this and that and when he wouldn't do it she went to Rafe herself. "I don't know if I was in love with being in love or in love with her, but was devastated that my judgement was so bad. All she really wanted was to be close to Rafe's money. She never loved me. We divorced and Rafe took care of her memories, but, I wouldn't let him remove mine and he honored that. It has taken me a long time to even considered a relationship, but, the first time I looked at you my heart leaped in my chest. I knew I wanted to take that chance. Does any of this make sense or have I made a complete jumble of things?"
Shea looks away from him and thinks about her past, and softly tells him "we all have some baggage in our lives. I do too. I've learned from mistakes and you have too. I am happy that you want to take a chance on me. I really like you a lot as well. I want to take a chance on you as well and see where this goes."
He puts his hand over hers and softly caresses her hand. She doesn't pull away so he puts his arm around her and pulls her closer to him and then stands and pulls her to her feet.
She is so beautiful and he cannot stop himself any longer. He gives her a first tentative kiss and quickly deepens the kiss as she responds. They lose track of time as they kiss and talk softly and kiss some more. Seth smiles at her "I really like where this is going." Shea blushes and agrees.

The beach scenes are stunning!
While Seth and Shea are on their date Alice and Adam explore a strange stone formation with gravestones and a huge statue of the reaper. Hungry they head back to the house and eat some leftovers from the fridge and chat with Rafe as they eat. Alice plays with Christina while Adam gets a tour of the caverns by Rafe.
Adam feels completely at home in the caverns and asks Rafe if they can fish to see what is biting down here. He is amazed at the Elven ruins that were discovered as well as a small cemetery. Seth is researching various archives to see what they can find out about the ruins. The one thing that they know is the ruins are older than even Rafe.
Its late, everyone settles in for the night except for Seth and Shea who are still smooching on the beach. Tomorrow Alice and Adam will be returning to Midnight Hollow.
Morning comes, tickles and hugs and goodbyes are said. The memories that Adam and Alice carry home with them are special and Alice knows her Dad will be so happy to hear about Autumns life with Rafe. One thing they have decided no matter where they decide to settle there must be a beach and boats. [/url

@mikezumi Thanks for the comments. The stone ring site was in BB from EA. I had hoped there was a tomb under it, but not. May have to build one some day for someone to explore. I've not figured out how to do the connecting to provide puzzles yet though. Will's eyes did get huge!

My Midnight Hollow save keeps crashing since Alice and Adam returned home. I did remember to change home world back so that is not it. I knew it might not last much longer when I played in it before I sent them to BB. I'm going to pack the family in a port file and try to move them to a new MH and then connect it with the nhd files to the other worlds. According to Nraas it is possible by swapping the files, but, it could mess things up. Wish me luck! I've been saving builds and selling all the venues and businesses they have this morning and hopefully it will not crash on save like it did yesterday!!

Sorry about the crashing I hope you can safely Port everyone to a new MH! That sounds really complicated to me. I thought about looking into having sims in different worlds, especially when my families start getting too big in town, but then I change my mind when I realize I probably won't see them again because my sims don't travel.

Adam and Alice arrive home in the wee hours of the morning. They are both glad to be home again as much as they enjoyed visiting with Rafe and Autumn and touring Barnacle Bay. Adam is thinking about Alice's birthday party and that he needs to get things coordinated with Gardenia. It will be an epic party and the town will talk about it for years. They are both exhausted and head to their rooms for a good nights sleep.
Adam awakens to the sounds of cries and checks on the twins. Lucas wants out of bed. Now! He picks him up and reassures him, gives him a toss in the air that he likes and changes him for the day. Victor arrives and seems pleased to see Adam taking care of Lucus. Victor picks up Lexi and tickles her and gets her ready for the day. They take the kids out to the playroom. Lucas chats with Adam and Lexi gets tossed in the air by her Dad. "Don't bump my head Daddy!" Lexi cries startled by her close call with the light fixture.
After putting Lexi down Victor turns to Adam. "We need to talk, but not here."
"No problem, lets go to the gym." Adam replies.
They teleport to the gym and go into the sauna to have their chat.
"What's on your mind? Adam asks with a bit of anxiety remembering the last time Victor popped in his head.
"I never thought I would be a father considering what happened to me and how long it took me to find Gardenia." Victor looks at Adam and grins to himself at how nervous Adam is. "Being a father is probably the toughest job I've ever done. You will find that out someday. Not too soon I hope." He gives Adam a stern look. "I love you like a son and I trust that the fates knew what they were doing when they joined you with my daughter. I do trust you. You've proven yourself to me many times over. Gardenia trusts and loves you. She knew before any of us what would happen when she met you. Alice will come of age today, but, she will always be my little girl. Even so, I want you to know that I will stay out of your minds from this day forward. You both deserve privacy and don't need me in there anymore. You only have to call me with your mind if you or Alice are in trouble, in need of me to help with anything, and the connection will always be there. Gardenia and I will always be there for you and Alice. We know that you both have full lives ahead of you and we have to let you go. It is hard, but we can't keep you close and tied to us."
Adam sits quietly, a bit stunned and overwhelmed with Victor's words. "I don't know what to say." Adam stammers. "I wasn't expecting this conversation."
Victor laughs, "I like keeping you nervous and a bit scared."
Adam grins, "You do a good job of it. I'm proud and happy that you and Gardenia trust me with Alice. She is my life. We were there when Christina was born and I don't know if I'm ready to watch Alice go through that. I will be someday, just not yet. We both want to go to university with our friends. Do some traveling. I've thought about trying to track my Mom's family down. I'm not sure about that yet. They may not accept a were/fairy hybrid."
Victor considers what Adam just revealed about wanting to find his family on his Mom's side. "Some fairy families are very enlightened about other species, and some are very close knit. I have contacts all over if you want me to start a search for you?
Adam nods, "Yes, I think I would like that."
Victor agrees. "Okay, we got all this settled. We are good? Gardenia is chatting with Alice about this so she will know as well. Lets go spar."

Authors note. I don't have many pics of the party as this is when my save started lagging and crashing and basically died. At that point all I wanted was to get her aged and saved. It took 3 tries before I was able to save after she aged up. No post aging party pics at all since once it saved, I put the game on pause and sold all the property and cleaned out a few inventories and packaged them in a porter file, saved a few of the venues I had rebuilt to the library and abandoned that world save. The next chapter will be in the new Midnight Hollow.
It's a Birthday
Adam had called all of his and Alice's friends as well as several of the family friends to come for her party. Gardenia worked on the cake and decorations as well as a few other snacks. Alice went to blow out the candles pretty quick after the party started. Some of the guests were still in the house and were slow to come out to the party area. Alice has a big smile on her face happy that she will finally be coming of age and ready for the next phase in her life. She looked around at all her friends and family and is very happy that they came to share her celebration. Even Joseph came to the party and was happily twirling a noisemaker and cheering her on. She ages into a beautiful young adult with an ugly top on!

Victor is sitting at the desk and looks up as they come in. "Ah, good timing. I've been looking up information in the archives on missing supernaturals. Do you know how long before you were born that she was with your father?
He shakes his head "no, I barely knew anything about her. No one would speak her name or talk about her after she died for fear of inflaming my fathers rage. I thought her first name was Helena, but, I'm not even sure about that. The name Willow is on her chest that held her gems."
"I will continue to do some research and check with my contacts. I've met the King and Queen of the Fae in the past with my work in the council and will contact them if the other contacts don't work out."
The doorbell rings and Alice runs to answer.
It is the Llama mascot from university arriving to share a bucket of goodies with Alice and Adam. Alice chats with him for a few minutes, sends him on his way and takes the gifts inside. Alice pokes around in the goodies and pulls out t shirts for her and Adam and they pull the shirts on over their clothes. They decide to take the uni test again and both get full scholarships.
Gardenia tells them "I have a couple of errands to run and then I will meet you at the store. We have some shopping to do if you are going to university."
All the students in town will be going to university together. Adam has a list of who will be going and there is only one student he does not know. Dedric George moved into town while he and Alice were visiting in Barnacle Bay. He found Dedric's address and went over to meet him. They have several things in common and become friends fairly quickly. Adam realizes it is getting late and tells him goodbye and will catch him later at the house. He hurries over to the store to meet up with Alice and Gardenia.
Gardenia is staring at a huge poster and wondering why anyone would want a life size picture of a green giant in their dorm room. Adam is checking out backpacks, and Alice is trying to get her Mom to come look at a new laptop that she can carry to class to take notes on.
"You have a perfectly good tablet to use for notes."
"Mom, do you know how hard it is to type on a tablet. I need something faster and easier to type with to keep up with the professors. The new laptops would easily fit in a backpack and the battery life is much longer too."
They look at all the choices and finally settle on the backpacks, laptops, some reference books, linens, a few small appliances, and some new clothes. Everything will be delivered to the house to put into the travel van when it arrives to take them to university. Gardenia settles up with the clerk and they go back home to await the van and other students.
Dedric is the last to arrive. They finish packing the van with their suitcases and appliances and other necessities. Everyone climbs into the crowded van and off to university they go waving goodbye to their families as they travel out of Midnight Hollow.
(the van never appeared, they all got into an invisible van. I guess that was just too many sims for the game to load the van)
I think I may have a slight crush on Victor. I like your Univerity equipment shop, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Adam and Alice will do at University!

Shea looks away from him and thinks about her past, and softly tells him "we all have some baggage in our lives. I do too. I've learned from mistakes and you have too. I am happy that you want to take a chance on me. I really like you a lot as well. I want to take a chance on you as well and see where this goes."
He puts his hand over hers and softly caresses her hand. She doesn't pull away so he puts his arm around her and pulls her closer to him and then stands and pulls her to her feet.
She is so beautiful and he cannot stop himself any longer. He gives her a first tentative kiss and quickly deepens the kiss as she responds. They lose track of time as they kiss and talk softly and kiss some more. Seth smiles at her "I really like where this is going." Shea blushes and agrees.

Odds and Ends
While Seth and Shea are on their date Alice and Adam explore a strange stone formation with gravestones and a huge statue of the reaper. Hungry they head back to the house and eat some leftovers from the fridge and chat with Rafe as they eat. Alice plays with Christina while Adam gets a tour of the caverns by Rafe.
Adam feels completely at home in the caverns and asks Rafe if they can fish to see what is biting down here. He is amazed at the Elven ruins that were discovered as well as a small cemetery. Seth is researching various archives to see what they can find out about the ruins. The one thing that they know is the ruins are older than even Rafe.
Its late, everyone settles in for the night except for Seth and Shea who are still smooching on the beach. Tomorrow Alice and Adam will be returning to Midnight Hollow.
Morning comes, tickles and hugs and goodbyes are said. The memories that Adam and Alice carry home with them are special and Alice knows her Dad will be so happy to hear about Autumns life with Rafe. One thing they have decided no matter where they decide to settle there must be a beach and boats.

There are several beautiful curtains in the pack and can combine them. I'm thinking of building a house around the pack.

My Midnight Hollow save keeps crashing since Alice and Adam returned home. I did remember to change home world back so that is not it. I knew it might not last much longer when I played in it before I sent them to BB. I'm going to pack the family in a port file and try to move them to a new MH and then connect it with the nhd files to the other worlds. According to Nraas it is possible by swapping the files, but, it could mess things up. Wish me luck! I've been saving builds and selling all the venues and businesses they have this morning and hopefully it will not crash on save like it did yesterday!!

Home again
Adam and Alice arrive home in the wee hours of the morning. They are both glad to be home again as much as they enjoyed visiting with Rafe and Autumn and touring Barnacle Bay. Adam is thinking about Alice's birthday party and that he needs to get things coordinated with Gardenia. It will be an epic party and the town will talk about it for years. They are both exhausted and head to their rooms for a good nights sleep.
Adam awakens to the sounds of cries and checks on the twins. Lucas wants out of bed. Now! He picks him up and reassures him, gives him a toss in the air that he likes and changes him for the day. Victor arrives and seems pleased to see Adam taking care of Lucus. Victor picks up Lexi and tickles her and gets her ready for the day. They take the kids out to the playroom. Lucas chats with Adam and Lexi gets tossed in the air by her Dad. "Don't bump my head Daddy!" Lexi cries startled by her close call with the light fixture.
After putting Lexi down Victor turns to Adam. "We need to talk, but not here."
"No problem, lets go to the gym." Adam replies.
They teleport to the gym and go into the sauna to have their chat.
"What's on your mind? Adam asks with a bit of anxiety remembering the last time Victor popped in his head.
"I never thought I would be a father considering what happened to me and how long it took me to find Gardenia." Victor looks at Adam and grins to himself at how nervous Adam is. "Being a father is probably the toughest job I've ever done. You will find that out someday. Not too soon I hope." He gives Adam a stern look. "I love you like a son and I trust that the fates knew what they were doing when they joined you with my daughter. I do trust you. You've proven yourself to me many times over. Gardenia trusts and loves you. She knew before any of us what would happen when she met you. Alice will come of age today, but, she will always be my little girl. Even so, I want you to know that I will stay out of your minds from this day forward. You both deserve privacy and don't need me in there anymore. You only have to call me with your mind if you or Alice are in trouble, in need of me to help with anything, and the connection will always be there. Gardenia and I will always be there for you and Alice. We know that you both have full lives ahead of you and we have to let you go. It is hard, but we can't keep you close and tied to us."
Adam sits quietly, a bit stunned and overwhelmed with Victor's words. "I don't know what to say." Adam stammers. "I wasn't expecting this conversation."
Victor laughs, "I like keeping you nervous and a bit scared."
Adam grins, "You do a good job of it. I'm proud and happy that you and Gardenia trust me with Alice. She is my life. I love you and Gardenia and bless the day the fates led me to Midnight Hollow so I could have a family of my own. Alice and I talked about having kids at Rafe's and Autumn's. We were there when Christina was born and I don't know if I'm ready to watch Alice go through that. I will be someday, just not yet. We both want to go to university with our friends. Do some traveling. I've thought about trying to track my Mom's family down. I'm not sure about that yet. They may not accept a were/fairy hybrid."
Victor considers what Adam just revealed about wanting to find his family on his Mom's side. "Some fairy families are very enlightened about other species, and some are very close knit. I have contacts all over if you want me to start a search for you?
Adam nods, "Yes, I think I would like that."
Victor agrees. "Okay, we got all this settled. We are good? Gardenia is chatting with Alice about this so she will know as well. Lets go spar."
"We are great! Thank you Victor! Lets go spar."
Victor proceeded to wipe the floor with him.

Authors note. I don't have many pics of the party as this is when my save started lagging and crashing and basically died. At that point all I wanted was to get her aged and saved. It took 3 tries before I was able to save after she aged up. No post aging party pics at all since once it saved, I put the game on pause and sold all the property and cleaned out a few inventories and packaged them in a porter file, saved a few of the venues I had rebuilt to the library and abandoned that world save. The next chapter will be in the new Midnight Hollow.
It's a Birthday
Adam had called all of his and Alice's friends as well as several of the family friends to come for her party. Gardenia worked on the cake and decorations as well as a few other snacks. Alice went to blow out the candles pretty quick after the party started. Some of the guests were still in the house and were slow to come out to the party area. Alice has a big smile on her face happy that she will finally be coming of age and ready for the next phase in her life. She looked around at all her friends and family and is very happy that they came to share her celebration. Even Joseph came to the party and was happily twirling a noisemaker and cheering her on. She ages into a beautiful young adult with an ugly top on!

Preparing for University.
Alice is waiting in the entryway when Adam returns from running errands. She gives him a kiss and tells him, "Mom and Dad are waiting in the living room."
Adam looks confused. "I've already had 'the talk' with your Dad and you've had one with your Mom. Wonder what is up?"
"They didn't even give me a hint so we will find out together."
Victor is sitting at the desk and looks up as they come in. "Ah, good timing. I've been looking up information in the archives on missing supernaturals. Do you know how long before you were born that she was with your father?
He shakes his head "no, I barely knew anything about her. No one would speak her name or talk about her after she died for fear of inflaming my fathers rage. I thought her first name was Helena, but, I'm not even sure about that. The name Willow is on her chest that held her gems."
"I will continue to do some research and check with my contacts. I've met the King and Queen of the Fae in the past with my work in the council and will contact them if the other contacts don't work out."
The doorbell rings and Alice runs to answer.
It is the Llama mascot from university arriving to share a bucket of goodies with Alice and Adam. Alice chats with him for a few minutes, sends him on his way and takes the gifts inside. Alice pokes around in the goodies and pulls out t shirts for her and Adam and they pull the shirts on over their clothes. They decide to take the uni test again and both get full scholarships.
Gardenia tells them "I have a couple of errands to run and then I will meet you at the store. We have some shopping to do if you are going to university."
All the students in town will be going to university together. Adam has a list of who will be going and there is only one student he does not know. Dedric George moved into town while he and Alice were visiting in Barnacle Bay. He found Dedric's address and went over to meet him. They have several things in common and become friends fairly quickly. Adam realizes it is getting late and tells him goodbye and will catch him later at the house. He hurries over to the store to meet up with Alice and Gardenia.
Gardenia is staring at a huge poster and wondering why anyone would want a life size picture of a green giant in their dorm room. Adam is checking out backpacks, and Alice is trying to get her Mom to come look at a new laptop that she can carry to class to take notes on.
"You have a perfectly good tablet to use for notes."
"Mom, do you know how hard it is to type on a tablet. I need something faster and easier to type with to keep up with the professors. The new laptops would easily fit in a backpack and the battery life is much longer too."
They look at all the choices and finally settle on the backpacks, laptops, some reference books, linens, a few small appliances, and some new clothes. Everything will be delivered to the house to put into the travel van when it arrives to take them to university. Gardenia settles up with the clerk and they go back home to await the van and other students.
Dedric is the last to arrive. They finish packing the van with their suitcases and appliances and other necessities. Everyone climbs into the crowded van and off to university they go waving goodbye to their families as they travel out of Midnight Hollow.
(the van never appeared, they all got into an invisible van. I guess that was just too many sims for the game to load the van)
